Big News - 5/12/15
All over the news today is a just released Pew survey that has revealed that under 71% of Americans now identify as "Christian". Down 7-8% from just seven years ago. This shift has significantly boosted the number of atheists and agnostics. However, what is remarkable is that the percentage of Evangelicals and "Born-again" Christians has remained virtually unchanged, in fact Evangelicals have added two million in that time period. What we are witnessing is the separation of the wheat and the tares. They were sown together, but now the wheat stands strong, while the weeds are falling away.
And on Thursday (the day after tomorrow), which is both Ascension Day and Israel's 67th birthday, a massive mile-wide asteroid will pass close to earth. While impact risk appears minimal, if it were to hit, it would instantly kill 1.5 billion and completely destroy the ozone layer. I think this flyby will serve as a major final warning.
