Escalation

As you probably read, Turkey has shot down a Russian warplane, after a number of warnings.  Link

As mentioned before many nations of the world have converged on Syria.  Many militarily, others with supplies and funding:

• Algeria
• China
• France
• United Kingdom
• Iran
• Iraq
• Israel
• Jordan
• Lebanon
• North Korea
• Qatar
• Russia
• Saudi Arabia
• Turkey 
• United Arab Emirates
• USA
• Venezuela

This is certainly a lot of firepower in a confined space as well as great tensions among those with competing interests.

Some call this WW3, others the battle of Armageddon, the Psalms 83 war, the preparation for the fulfillment of Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49 and still others the battle of Ezekiel 38 and 39.

Given the hundreds of other signs pointing to the End of the Age, the Return of the King for His bride, the unleashing of God's wrath and the utter collapse of men's ability to rule, reign and have dominion these Syrian events certainly align.

The day or hour, I don't know, but I'm not blind, deaf and dumb.  God has given me eyes to see, ears to hear and a mouth to speak.  I can see clearly this convergence of nations will not end well.

Important to remember the words of Ephesians 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

This conflict is not primarily about Assad and the interests of Russia, Iran and China in the region. While the conflict may have started this way, there are always other forces at work.  Chiefly, Lucifer's desire to thwart God's plan.  God has big plans for Israel.  In his twisted insanity the father of lies thanks that he can somehow prove God a liar.  God is sovereign.  He is HOLY, HOLY, HOLY!!!   He is unchanging, unmovable, all powerful, all knowing, all present and He is faithful to His promises every single time.

My opinion:  Damascus will fall soon, Israel will be attacked soon, nuclear escalation soon, more terrorism in the west soon, economic collapse soon, God's intervention to protect Israel soon and His snatching His bride out of harms way is also very soon.  Some have speculated during Hanukkah. All of this is of course speculative, but He is not a God of confusion 1 Corinthians 14:33.  The signs are hear for a reason.
