Interesting: Yom Kippur Now An Official U.N. Holiday

The holiest day of the Jewish calendar, and sixth of the seven Biblical feasts, has been officially recognized as a holiday of the U.N. despite widespread objections from Muslim and other countries.  It becomes one of only eleven "official U.N. holidays".

Not sure what the significance is, but I find this to be intriguing in light of Bible prophecy:

  • Yom Kippur is the second Fall Feast and has not yet been fulfilled
  • It is also the traditional date for the Second Coming of Christ
  • Many Jews anticipate the Messiah to arrive on this date
  • Does this give credence to the possibility the antichrist will utilize the U.N. to come to power?
