BREAKING: North Korea Detonates First Fusion Bomb

Multiple sources confirming.  A 5.1 magnitude earthquake was detected in the vicinity of where the purported test took place. 

North Korea is known to have in its possession several fission bombs, which are large, antiquated, and not particularly powerful.   The testing of a hydrogen fusion bomb, which is orders of magnitude more powerful, will be a serious source of escalation.
