Erdogan's Consolidation Of Power Intensifies: Over 16,000 Purged
In Erdogan's violent and forceful response to the 'coup', Turkey is risking suspension from NATO and no path forward for EU membership. This is quickly becoming a massive power grab with 16,000 key dissidents 'purged' amid events eerily similar to Hitler's Rohm Putsch of June 30th to July 2nd, 1934 "when the Nazi regime carried out a series of political extra-judicial executions intended to consolidate Hitler's absolute hold on power in Germany".
