Historic Waves Slam California And Destroy Large Ship

Record-breaking waves have been slamming the California coast as a major storm set in.  The previous record wave of 2008 at 32.8 feet was beaten by a 34 foot wave in Monterey Bay.  A historic World War I ship was broken into three sections as its dock was pummeled.

A passerby captured footage of the ship after it had been broken into several pieces:

Luke 21:25 comes straight to mind:

There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.

And these record-breaking freak waves are not so unusual anymore.  It seems that the metaphorical water has broken and the baby is about to be born beginning with the terrible and tragic Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 when fully one-quarter million people perished:

This was followed by the 2011 tsunami in Japan where 18,000 perished and the Fukushima nuclear power plant melted down filling the Pacific Ocean up with radioactive particles:

Santa Barbara in 2014:

Massive tidal waves also hit southern Indonesia and northwestern Australia last Summer, killing several people:

Largest wave crash ever recorded on film from Typhoon Megi hammered Taiwan just this past September:

  1. Trying to make every "extreme" weather even into a fulfillment of bible prophecy is to discredit the bible and make believers looks silly. These things happen, its part of nature.

    1. I hear you, but I have to reject the view that sees natural events as arbitrary. Everything is supernatural, including the very air you breath. God has determined and purposed everything before time began. Additionally, I focus on the specific "extreme weather" events that the Bible repeatedly connects with the run-up to the return of Christ such as earthquakes, the roaring sea, etc. The Bible does mention these things and so I take Him at His word.

I would encourage you to consider:
