All Eyes On Virgo And Leo

Last night, on the first day of Passover, a full moon rose over Israel.  As the God-ordained marker of the Jewish festival, the moon caused the eyes of the Israeli nation to be fixated upwards - and right where they would have been looking was the belly of the constellation Virgo.  The full moon, known this month as a "pink moon", appeared right next to the planet Jupiter, which is currently swirling around within the constellation's womb.

It is interesting that on this most sacred of Jewish holidays, the celestial marker for the festival was causing all eyes to look directly at one of the two main constellations involved in this September's possible Revelation 12 alignment.

Even more interesting - the August 21st total solar eclipse in the United States occurs in conjunction with the king star Regulus in the constellation Leo the Lion.  Is God drawing our attention to both Virgo and Leo in advance of the Revelation 12 Sign?

Scottie Clarke from ERF Ministries discusses these two pointers in the video below:

  1. It cleared off here last night and so the kids and I were able to go out and see Jupiter and the moon before I sent them off to bed. I went out before I went to bed and was able to find Spica also. We live in a good sized city and so dimmer stars are harder to see. Tonight my middle one and I took Stellarium in night mode outside. We found Leo, Regulus, Spica, Orion, his dog, Mars, one star of Taurus, the "heads" of Gemini, and a couple of other bright stars. We saw a "shooting star" also, which was really neat. So fun to share God's universe with my kids!

    1. That's cool! We've been very overcast lately, so I haven't been able to "look up" much.
