He was very careful, but where God was concerned he was sloppy as a pig. A victim of Darwin and the Industrial Revolution (we can do it all ourselves and we can determine natural cause and effect for everything - we are in control).

God has given you a lifetime to find Him. Not choosing is a decision and you will be without excuse.
So you believe He exists. James 1:19 says - so what, even the demons believe.
The question is, if He is, how is your life ordered in response. He is God. We fall in line, surrender our lives and accept His lordship. Anything short is death.
God didn't need anything. He was perfectly content. He chose to share life with us. An eternal opportunity to be in perfection with Him. Free will - you choose. Why is there trouble, because we created it.
In Egypt this week they are so excited for "Freedom" and the ability to direct their own affairs. Apart from Him they will fail. Every form of government has failed. Even the American experiment has failed, see $14 trillion in debt and polarization on social/moral issues. Until Egypt turns to God, they are on a road to hell.
The question is not where is God in the midst of the chaos, but why has God been so amazingly patient during the rebellion. He should have destroyed us all, long ago, better yet He should never have created.
For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have ever lasting life.
The world around us is screaming His name, through the tragedy. Why the Muslims from Algeria, to Libya, to Egypt, to Saudi, to Lebanon, Jordan, to oppressive Iran don't wake up and say this is not working is beyond me. They are rioting in the streets for something different. Can't you see the hearts of their leaders are evil, oppressive, self centered and power hungry?
Seek Him while He may be found.
