Persecution is real. It's here. It's in America... will you have the courage to stand?

UPDATE: A federal judge has ordered a defiant Kentucky clerk to jail after she refused to issue marriage licenses to gay couples.

U.S. District Judge David Bunning told Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis she would be jailed until she complied with his order to issue the licenses.

Notice "until she complied".  Kim Davis has clearly said that because of her faith in God's Word she can never comply, so in effect the judge has sent Kim Davis to jail indefinitely.

Are you ready to endure this kind of persecution?  Will you stand for Christ?  Make your mind up right this moment.  Those who wait to decide until they are looking down the barrel of a gun, don't typically get a sudden onrush of courage.

To live is Christ and to die is gain.

Praise God for this valiant hero of faith.  A sordid past like all of us, yet reborn through the blood of the Lamb.

MARANATHA!

  1. The world just wants the Christians out of the way. True to form, God the consummate gracious gentleman is no rapist and is about to grant the great wish.

Interesting that the greatest miracle in two millennia will be to answer the pleas of the wicked for freedom from the tyranny of Biblical authority. Ask and it shall be given. (Sarcastic respins I know).

  3. 'Ask and it shall be given'. Lord, I pray for your justice to come into this situation, and I praise God that you are with Kim. I make this statement concerning my old life in the world and my new life in Jesus,:-

'even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief; and the grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus.' (2 Timothy ch. 1 vs. 13 and 14)

and pray that David Bunning come to know Jesus as His Saviour too:-
