BALAAMIC PROPHECY? Coalition Talks Remain at Impasse as Israeli President Declares "A Time of Crisis for the House of Jacob"

The April 2019 Israeli elections were already unprecedented in that for the first time ever, the newly-elected Knesset failed to form a government.  Last month's elections resulted in the same stalemate, and now the situation remains at an impasse.  Why now, and why Israel?  For the last half-decade, many Christians and various ministries have been sounding the trumpet in unison, warning that the signs of the impending rapture of the Church and Tribulation were upon us and had converged to such an extent that "imminence" took on all new gravity.

The Revelation 12 Sign appeared to be God's answer, that the time is indeed at hand.  And all of these things center on or pertain to Israel, so when we see Israel suddenly undergoing major changes, you can be sure that the fulfillment of major prophecies are right around the corner.  In just the past two years—and all since the Revelation 12 Sign—the following have taken place in the covenant land:

  • The United States formally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved the embassy

  • Several other countries subsequently did the same

  • The United States recognized Israel's annexation of the Golan Heights

  • The Knesset finally passed the Jewish Nation-State Bill into law, restoring the nation's biblical identity

  • The silver half-shekel (dictated in Exodus 30) was reintroduced

  • The main altar of the future Third Temple was dedicated

  • "As in the days of Noah" reached its zenith, as a blasphemous Gentile sacrifice was offered on the Mount of Olives to "renew" the Noahic Covenant

  • And finally, for the first time ever, Israel has been unable to form a government; in other words, there exists a power vacuum in the Promised Land

The backdrop of all of this is that the U.S. government has been simultaneously developing a peace agreement that is widely thought to abandon key elements of the perpetually unsuccessful two-state solution, in favor of unilateral action to divide the land—having Israel annex the Jordan Valley and large chunks of Judea and Samaria, and forming a Palestinian State out of the remainder.  The first part of this plan has already been unveiled, while the geopolitical part is waiting in the wings for an Israeli government to be formed.  Remember: the division of God's land that He explicitly willed to Jacob and his descendants, is the line that once crossed will trigger the time of God's wrath.

In light of the present impasse in Israel, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin has just stated, probably unbeknownst to him, a direct reference to a prophecy in Jeremiah 30 that foretold the beginning of the Tribulation—the "labor pains" on the "woman" Israel, that Jesus spoke of in His Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24.  In the words of President Rivlin:

We are facing a time of crisis for the House of Jacob, an emergency for Israel’s security and for Israeli society, an emergency for Israeli democracy...

And in the words of the Prophet Jeremiah:

For thus says the Lord:

'We have heard a voice of trembling,
Of fear, and not of peace.
Ask now, and see,
Whether a man is ever in labor with child?
So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins
   Like a woman in labor,
And all faces turned pale?
Alas!  For that day is great,
So that none is like it;
And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble,
But he shall be saved out of it.'
—Jeremiah 30:5–7

  1. Israel in crisis will make the nation vulnerable to the seduction of the antichrist when he emerges on the world scene from Europe. Could the Brexit pave the way for him?

    1. Moin, blessings to you. I have always believed that the Anti-Christ would come from Europe ( Revived Roman Empire). The Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70AD and were ruling at the time John was writing Revelation. I read in Pastor Cioccalanti’s book The Divine Code that the AC might be Assyrian based on 3 Scriptures in Isaiah and in Micah 5. So, essentially, the AC would come from Turkey, Syria, Iran or Iraq. One of the writers here mentioned once how much Anti-Semite Erdogan of Turkey looks like Hitler. I always thought that the Jews wouldn’t accept a Messiah (the False one) that wasn’t Jewish, but, sadly, they did the first time. Jesus is clearly Jewish outwardly and inwardly. I am including a link to an article on this subject. Forgive me if it has been addressed before and blessings to all.

  3. The Ultimate in IRONY:
As Christians, we can see what is going on in the world and NOT be overly concerned because GOD SAID these things would happen. Disconcerting yes, but exciting nonetheless!
But the world, while observing these same things, albeit in a different light, appears to hold them in little regard as well - it's just the same ol', same ol' to most folks! They're not concerned either!
We Christians have the promises of God as our surety of "peace and safety".
Unfortunately, the World cannot say the same.

Trump especially condemned socialism and countries persecuting Christians in the respective speeches. Never in my life have I seen a US President call out the globalists like that. Bet they're not happy.

    1. Hello Archangel, and all my other brothers and sisters in Jesus, I am not in the context of the main subject but this is the 2nd time that I read that a believer thinks that God will bring our pets with us into his Kingdom. I have a mini dog that takes a lot of place in my life and in my heart. And I admit that I am worried about what will happen to my dog if I leave this planet because she is very dependent on me. But I never read anything about our animals during the removal of the Church of Christ or anything else. I know there are horses in the sky but that does not speak of our little terrestrial animals. I know that God has a big heart and that he might give us the joy of having our four-legged friends with us, but he can also decide to leave them on the ground because he knows what he's doing and why he does it. I think of the humans, young and old who will live the tribulations and certainly for God, humans who have eternal souls and spirits are more important than animals. So if he allows suffering for his justice and divine plan, he could very well leave the animals on the ground. I do not know what to think about it. What do you think? Have you read in the Bible on this subject? Thank you for informing me because it bothers me a lot. God bless you! Carole

    2. Dear Carole,
We know God cares dearly for His creation. He had Noah build a great big ark to preserve animals, and while there is not much in the Bible about this particular subject, we do know the merciful heart of our Creator.

Here is an encouraging message by Pastor Tim Henderson that you should see! He recorded it just today, I believe.

    3. My two cents about pets:

In the beginning, His creation was GOOD!

Did Adam have a dog? Did Eve have a cat? It would be reasonable to say they had hundreds or thousands. In fact Adam gave them their general names. We're they pets? Yes and no. Their world was unbroken, so animals had no void to fill and at the time there was perfect understanding between man and animal. They were Gods creation, and we were to take care of them. They helped us too most likely.

God showed us His abilities and His character when He created. He wants us to know that character and understand it. It follows that heaven would be a more perfect representation of this creation... so yes, almost undoubtedly there will be animals and they'll be awesome and friendly. But we must be careful to love Him enough to give up our pets or at least trust Him with them. It's ok to love your pets. Just love Him enough to trust Him with them.

My 4 yr old loves unicorns, I mean really loves them. She asks if there are unicorns in heaven. I tell her if she still cares about unicorns when she gets to heaven, she can ask Him for one and I'm sure He can make the most beautiful one she's ever seen. She likes that answer and I don't believe I am misrepresenting God in any way. What do you think?

Sorry this is off topic, I just see a lot of folks with the same concern.

Personally I am not an animal person. But they are a lot easier to get along with than the people around me.

    4. I'm in the camp that pets don't go to heaven with us. The dead in Christ rise with us (or us with them) and there no idication their pets will join them, some of whom would have dead for 2000 years like their owners. The reason animals were put on the ark are for the same reason as Noah and his family. So they could carry clean DNA forward and to give Noah's family and subsequent generations animals for work, food, and pets. Additionally, I have pets and I don't want spend eternity cleaning up after them even with the pleasure they give me.

      Delete
    5. PS: I want to add that I have made arrangements with someone who absolutists not Christian and is a prepper to take my pets to his home after the rapture. I know that will give my pets a little bit longer with someone who will love and care for them as long as possible. We keep praying for him to come to his senses and accept the Gospel but so far he has remained staunchly opposed against it.

      Delete
    6. Hi Janet,
Yes you are correct that the reason God put animals on the ark is to carry clean DNA forward and preserve the species. The point I tried to make is that God cares about what He has made. We don't know if our pets will be with us in heaven. But we can trust God, the Creator, who cares about His creation.

    7. And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31 In the past, like you, curious to find a more specific verse tied to this, than what is implied by Christ's Love Of Us and other, relevant concepts, as we niggle this non-essential section of the doctrine and learn more of Our Lord, as we do, I landed here. Not going to post the details, but, the word 'household', as is endemic to Greek, has wide-ranging, yet accurate applications, amongst which would certainly include livestock and holdings, i.e. pets, Maranatha!

    9. I've been around and worked with animals my entire life - dogs and horses mostly.
      I've loved many of them.
I don't know about the RAINBOW BRIDGE - that's just a comfort for folks here.
I do KNOW God cares about what we as His children care about.
I've had many a sick critter miraculously recover - no other explanation for it.
Or, dogs get found or come back after having gone missing.
First thing I do, is PRAY.
And EVERY SINGLE TIME, God has answered those prayers.
It may seem silly or trite to some.
But, I've learned (often times the HARD WAY) to trust God in ALL things.
Most folks step up when catastrophe strikes. It’s all the never ending “little” things that can do us in.
How great is our God that He cares about the seeming "little" things that can mean so much to us.
Of course, I've wondered about the animals in our care and what will happen to them.
(You would not believe how often newborn puppers and kittens get dumped at our veterinary - we get them all the time! They get vetted, then sent to a rescue for adoption (non-kill). We’re currently bottle feeding a litter of 2 day old pups.)
I don't know whether animals who have been truly loved and part of an earthly family go to heaven or not. Or, even animals who have not been loved, but who SHOULD have been – our shelters are full of them!
It would not surprise me if they do.
I am content having loved and known them here if they don't.
They have certainly been a blessing for which I am grateful.
      * * * *
My husband died when my children were still fairly young.
Afterwards, my daughter would only "talk" to dogs and horses.
For a long while, she just couldn't handle everyone's "sympathy".
Now, she works at the veterinary, volunteers at a local rescue, and is on her way to being a vet!
She’s said she was going to be a vet since she could talk and has never waivered in her career choice.
Somehow, I don’t think God is going to leave my animal-loving daughter without a job to do!
And, all of our vet and animal rescue friends – I don’t think we’ll just stop being who we are at the core when we’re in heaven! God made us for a purpose – and for some, that is the care and keeping of animals! (Let’s just hope poop doesn’t smell in heaven!)
My apologies… because I have given this some thought, but perhaps the BEST we can hope for them is that they will have a quick and painless end HERE. I’ve held many a pup while it passed away – just so they’d know love, even for a brief time, while still here on this earth.
God cares about what we care about.
That includes the pets and animals in our care.
      Remember, they’re His critters too.

    10. Jenny, blessings to you. And God created animals and man on the 6th Day and made them from the same soil. God made Balaam’s donkey speak and he spoke eloquently. (Numbers 22:28). The Angel threatened to kill Balaam and save the donkey alive. And the donkey could see the Angel but Balaam couldn’t. It’s really humbling when your donkey has more spiritual insight than it’s owner. Thank you and your daughter for your kindness to animals. When friends/neighbors tell me not to feed stray cats and kittens (because they will keep coming back) I think HOW CRUEL !!! How much effort does it really take to save a hungry animal. It’s their choice. I’ve made mine. And the feral cats I have domesticated and kept love me all the more. They are sentient creatures and we honor God by treating them with compassion because they can’t help themselves.

    12. The question is not whether or not animals are in heaven, the question is will the animals in this physical world enter into an eternal world at their death. We must first look to scripture for the difference between men and animals. Gen 1;26 states "Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, after our Likeness!" This refers to the fact that man is composed of body, soul, and spirit. Most Christians have absolutely no idea what this means when trying to understand and compare soul and spirit. For an awesome illustration, watch this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUiIAZTMiBM Next we must look to see if the Bible says anything about animals being different. In Isaiah 31:3, we read that "Now the Egyptians are men and not God, and their horses are flesh, not spirit." This is very important. Once you understand the difference between soul and spirit, you will understand that yes, men and animals both have body (flesh). Secondly, our soul is comprised of mind, will, & feelings. Animals have that too as we can see in some very smart species who clearly think, act accordingly, and show emotion. The difference, however is that they do not have a spirit. The moment we repent and surrender our lives to Jesus Christ, it is our Spirit that is replaced and made perfect. It is that perfect spirit in us that is the the 1/3 perfect part in us. That Spirit will be the same spirit at our death or rapture. Our body and soul will be made perfect at that moment as well. In Genesis 1:26 , we are given the role of ruling over a creation that will one day be destroyed and made new and perfect. We have all had pets that we love dearly. I have had many wonderful dogs through the years that God has blessed me with. However, I praise God that he gave them to me to bring pleasure to me. There have also been many other living elements of God's creation such as trees and plants that God has provided for my pleasure and enjoyment, yet no longer exist. I must not wonder in sadness about my pets, but give praise and glory for the temporal pleasure that he has allowed me to experience through all elements of creation despite the fallen state of this world. Maranatha

    13. I have often pondered Eccl 3:19

19For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. 20All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. 21Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? 22Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

    14. It seems Solomon wonders if animals go downward (spiritually) and not upward at death ? Animals lived forever in the Garden of Eden until Adam and Eve messed things up. Where was Adam ? Why was he not guarding his wife ?

    15. Archangel, As an aside, Adam chose to sin knowingly so that Eve would not be alone in her fall from grace.

12And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

Interesting how Adam saw fit to remind the Lord that He gave the woman to him, as if that makes the Lord culpable in Adam and Eve’s sin. You are correct. Adam and Eve chose to do it. I know we all sin. I just wish they hadn’t started the process.

    19. Enoch is an interesting read, but there's a reason it was not included.
From Grace Through Faith, regarding the book of Enoch:
"The Book of Enoch wasn’t included in Scripture because it wasn’t written by either Enoch of Genesis times and didn’t appear until long after the events it describes. Also, theological errors led scholars to conclude that it wasn’t an inspired writing. So, while there are many interesting explanations of traditional Jewish beliefs, the book should not be given the weight of Scripture."
There are other articles on Enoch as well as the compilation of the Bible.

    22. @Miguel P

For the first time in a while I had to take a break from reading Comments to skip to the bottom and type.

To the ppl whose daughters love unicorns: I believe that is being done by design. The unicorn is a deliberate mockery (attempted) of God's Word.

      What do I mean?

      Watch YouTube video:
WHY are unicorns mentioned in the Bible?
      (something like that)

Then watch Truthstream Media's video about abundance of unicorn merchandise in the stores. Put those two videos together in your mind and I believe you will see that the unicorn is very anti-christ.

***Spoiler alert***: The Bible mentions unicorn because it's a rhinoceros. There are 2 types. One with 2 horns on snout.... And one with 1 horn on snout. The double horn one is considered a "bicorn". The single horn one is the unicorn. It's a rhinoceros. Nowhere does it say it looks like a horse or have rainbow poop. Etc...

I hope this was helpful to you all. How pervasive the deceptions are.

That being said if your daughter wants a colorful horse in heaven with a spiral-like horn, maybe she'll get one.

    23. Yeah, I know all that anon. Not really enough space here , nor relevance to unpack all this clearly, in my opinion . It's a can of worms. I really cannot stand the topic of pets. My faith says just trust God and dont worry about that stuff. I dont care much for animals. They are such idols for many people. Dont get me wrong: I have had real joy for a couple dogs. They are amazing animals, but they are not people.

God cares about the animals and He cares about people. We have souls and Christs blood to pay for our sin. I'm not judging anyone for loving their pet. One could easily criticize me for how much I love certain things.

Regarding my four year olds affinity for unicorns....shes four. I spend a lot of time correcting her understanding about the crap that this world tells her...unicorns included, but she is four. Just recently four. I hate this world, love His handiwork and all that is still good, but I am sure the place and knowledge Adam and Eve had was far different.

I think it was kjv that translates the word as "unicorn" it is meant literally. As in, one horned animal. This was likely a rhinoceros. Unfortunately people are naive about how language works and apply whatever meaning they want.

Look, people are about to be very deceived with aliens, unicorns and other shapeshifting creatures. My four year old will not be. Dont worry about that and I appreciate your concern.

      Sorry to ramble.

    24. There have also been horses with horns found in the fossil record. Chances are that we may have hunted them to extinction after David's day, or bred the feature out of them. But some clearly did exist prior to the flood.

I also like the Rhino explanation, but were they close enough for David to have ever seen one? Even as a wall mount? Or did they have Zoos in Israel? Did they live that far north in his day that he could see one in the land of Israel? Had someone made a graven image (or drawn one for an art book?) of them?

It's interesting to think about, but I don't think we'll be interested in the answer when we finally see the Lord...

  9. This is unrelated to the political situation in Israel, but speaks to the intense spiritual attacks going on in our culture. I was watching the season premiere of PBS’s “Poldark” series (set in England in the late 18th century) and it randomly included a scene, completely unrelated to the story line, with a man preaching about the return of Christ in the streets and being ignored or scoffed at by everyone. It’s so obvious how the secular entertainment industry is being used by Satan to harden people’s hearts to the rapture, and to God’s Word in general.

    2. I watched that episode of Poldark. I thought, 'not much has changed,' and that's assuming the script wasn't colored by modern tropes and ideas. I used to hear people say that the Lord couldn't come yet because the world 'isn't that bad'... But I ask, how bad does it have to get? The answer I get, almost invariably, is 'Much, much worse!' But if God cannot even LOOK at sin, why hasn't He already put an end to the evil all around us? Because it has to play itself out; just like that script I mentioned at the start. My point being, God is not waiting for 'Sin to get much, much worse.' He's waiting for the current script to play itself out.

  10. I know some of you are annoyed by the attempts to guess when the rapture might be and I have been disappointed a few times in the last few years but im fascinated by the subject. With that said I want to offer the possibility that the rapture could still happen in the next few weeks. Heres why. Someone mentioned that there were 2550 days from rapture to return. I personally think based on my reading of the text that it will be 2520 days with an additional 75 days to the millenial kingdom during which time will be the renovation of the earth and the sheep and goat judgements. Now with that said most seem to be looking at the F.O.T.which has passed to be a watch time. I disagree, I think that is more likely to be fulfilled at the Lords return when he takes on the anti-christ at armageddon with us by his side. If the rapture occurred on Oct. 19th coming up soon, 2520 days would fall on the F.O.T. in 2026. Just my personal thoughts.

    1. I have believed that the 7 years of Tribulation of Jacob's Trouble aka the Crisis of Jacob (Micah 4:9, "Is there no king in thee?") is 2,520 days divided into 2 equal parts of 1,260 days each. In Dan.12:6 a man asked on one side of a river how long would it be to the end of Jacob's trouble, and he was answered in Dan.12:11-12 that there would be 1,290 days more after the Abomination of Desolation was set up and blessed was he who comes to the 1,335th day, which is 75 days past the end of 1,260 days. It may be that a leap month of 30 days is added or a 13th month to one Jewish year, making the Tribulation last a total of 2,550 days when Christ returns. Then the extra 45 days would be in my opinion to set up for His Millennial Kingdom Reign. If it was begun in 2019 and his return after 2550 days ends in 2026 on tge FOT, the Tribulation would be begun on 9/19/19, and end on FOT 9/12/26. But next year it would start on Oct. 8th, Hoshana Rabba, and end on FOT 10/2/27, 2,550 days later. If Tribulation starts in 2021, it would be on 9/28/21, Shmini Atzeret, and end on FOT 9/21/28, 2,550 days later. The rapture is always imminent, but I believe it can be any time suddenly and unexpectedly when we least expect it after the Rev. 12 Great Sign.

  11. Blessings, Carole, Janet A., Miguel P, Hmewrdbe and all. I read a book by Nikki Shanahan many years ago called There Is Eternal Life for Animals. After her beloved cat Pete passed away, she was determined to study the Bible in the original Hebrew and Greek regarding eternity for animals and made some astonishing observations. So many times in His Word, God uses the same word for “spirit” to refer to both humans and animals and so does Paul when mentioning there is one kind of flesh for animals and man and “All flesh shall see the Salvation of God.” (Luke 3:6). She made too many thoughtful observations to list here. I highly recommend her book and website eternalanimals.org.

When the Prophet Nathan went to King David about the Bathsheba issue, I have always thought God kind of had a dual meaning in Nathan’s particular Parable about the poor man who had a little ewe lamb who drank from his cup and laid in his arms and was like a daughter to him. If that doesn’t illustrate how perfectly God understands our bond with our pets I don’t know what does ! And King David said the rich man who killed the poor man’s ewe lamb deserved to die and should have to pay the poor man back fourfold ! And he was very angry at the rich man.

Of course, the Parable was also meant to illustrate King David’s sin with Bathsheba and having her husband killed. (2 Samuel 12:5).

Could it also be God telling us He understands our meaningful relationships with our pets ? Call me foolish but I believe so. I also know there is nothing too hard for our Almighty God. He created my pets and gave them to me to care for and I am humbled and honored to do it and they make me so happy. God has saved my pets from early deaths so many times and has sent me several sick birds to help.

I trust Jesus with my soul. How could I not trust Him with all I have since all of it comes from Him ? I believe it’s a matter of trust and I trust Him in everything.

I hold no animosity toward anyone who doesn’t agree with my thoughts on this subject. As for me, I just can’t picture my Savior saying No to my heartfelt desire for my pets not to suffer in the Tribulation which is God’s Time to pour out His Wrath on unbelievers and deal with Israel.

I know there will be attacks by wild animals as part of the 4th Seal Judgment and I get that. And, frankly, since so many in other cultures have no problem torturing animals for their “medicinal” products like bile and even eat domestic animals after deaths inflicted on them too horrible to imagine, I think a little payback is warranted and, of course, God is always Just and Righteous. Also, since starvation is another Judgment, it makes sense to me that cultures that eat animals would suddenly have them available no more.

I just know as all of you also know that God always does what’s right and best for us. And He will surely work it out.

Maranatha ! And with the astonishing unprecedented situation in Israel, I feel we are so much closer to being snatched up to be with our Lord forever and getting closer each minute/day that passes. Keep storing up your treasure in Heaven. All we will take with us is what we have done for His Kingdom and I don’t want to appear before my Savior empty-handed.

God bless all of you !

  14. To follow up on my last comment, the question of 2550 vs.2520 from rapture to return has not been established in my mind. What I do know is that its very unlikely that his return- with us after the trib. will not be a week or two after the F.O.T. only to go almost another year in order for the Lord to fulfill these remaining feasts. It doesnt make any sense. Which means that I dont believe that the rapture could happen at any time. If we are not gone by the end of this month the next most likely time will be spring of next year at Pentecost.

    1. Hello Anonymous. I have to agree with you 110% that the rapture couldn't be anytime, any more than a woman who is two months pregnant could give birth anytime. Christ compared his second advent, [all the end-time events,ie rapture, tribulation and second coming to a woman giving birth.]
When the contractions begin, then, it's a signal that it's days away.
Then the water breaks, and this is another sign that the birth is imminent.
Regarding the feasts, - the First four Spring feasts were inseparably connected with Christ's first advent, and were all fulfilled in perfect order and in perfect precision.
The Fall feasts, all occur in the Fall, and are inseparably linked with his second advent. [Rapture, tribulation and second coming, millennial reign, etc]
The next feast to be fulfilled is FOT, Yom Teruah, in the Fall. You can count the first four out, my friend.
As a side note, when Christ came in the Spring and fulfilled the First four feasts, Spring is about newness of life. Christ brought new life.
The age of the Church is coming to an end, not the beginning.
Also, even to this day, Jews believe that the resurrection happens at FOT.

  15. The so-called rapture is a myth which is said to have originated with a Spanish Catholic Jesuit priest named Ribera, in 1580 A.D. (See “The Rapture of the Wicked”, by Stephen E. Jones and “The Rapture of the Saints”, by Duncan McDougall). Catholicism and Protestanism have continued to spread it since then. The predictions of prophetic pundits have failed every single time in the past 175 years since the time of William Miller. The State of Israel is really the State of Judah and Benjamin. The other Ten Tribes (House of Israel) are scattered throughout the world and will be reunited with the House of Judah after the return of Christ (Ezekiel 37:15-28). It will be a minimum of 3-1/2 years after the appearance of the Two Witnesses that Christ will return (Rev. 11:3). Things and events in the world are NOT yet in place for the appearance of the Two Witnesses. Stop trying to second-guess Almighty God!

    1. Dear Anonymous, If you are open to actually reading how the earliest church fathers, one generation away from the church of Acts taught on the rapture, the read the book "The Rapture: The Pretribulational Rapture Viewed From the Bible and the Ancient Church" by Ken Johnson. The idea of the rapture did not start with a 1580 Jesuit priest just is not true. This short, but well researched book documents clearly the earliest teachings on the rapture. It is available on Amazon and well worth the read for those who want to dig deeper and into the 1st century church teachings on this topic.

  16. Very interesting article. I have to question the accuracy of one point. Trumps 'Deal of the Century has not been revealed as of yet. In fact, the press has repeatedly commented on how much of a tightly held secret this is.
The FOX news article went on to state that the secretive deal does not include giving/ annexing or designating any land whatsoever for the Jordanian Arabs (so called Palestinians which is a contrived and political propaganda term). I think you might be referencing some other alleged peace plan.
Could you cite your source that indicated Trump was planning to give land to the Arabs?
Trumps son-in-Law, Jared Kushner is Jewish, as is his daughter Ivanka, and all his sons married Jewish women.
Trump is the most pro-Israel president in the entire US history.

Jason Greenblat is also Jewish, and any notion that the two Jewish architects of the Deal of the Century will give up land is speculation.

This may set the stage for the shelter of the remnant of Israel during the time of Jacob's trouble. Where is it that the woman, "those who are in Judea" (Matthew 24:16 ESV), will flee to? Jesus Himself tells us she will flee, "to the mountains" (Matthew 24:16 ESV) and all of her neighbours are Arab nations.

Is a pathway back to Midian and Mt Horeb being created? Could be.

  18. I dont see any evidence so far of a dividing of land either in Trumps "peace" plan. I think this plan is a precursor for the real plan described in Daniel. There are 3 events that will happen in rapid succession. The Ezekiel 38 war (As many of you know, all the players in this conflict are in place). The Rapture and the signing of the peace treaty. Not necessarily in that order and probably the rapture will happen first. I dont see things continuing much longer folks but ive been saying that for 3 years. But one thing is for sure, our Lord IS coming!

    1. Agree, Anonymous. I haven't seen any sources that can say with certainty what the Deal of the Century really is. There's a lot of speculation and conjecture, but from what I've read, there are a ton of economic incentives to Jordan to take back Jordanians. So basically, Jordan gets tens of millions to take Jordanian Arabs, into their own country. There are no Palestinians - that's a propaganda lie perpetuated by Yassar Arafat to make a false victim, since Jordan has no historical or national ties to Isreal.

  19. The Signs continue to happen and converge starting in 1948 (some would say much earlier and correctly) but when the Blood Moons on Jewish Feast Days started around 2014 and the Turkey, Iran, Russia axis came into view and definitely since the Great Sign of Rev12, it has gained tremendous speed imho and this article by Gary certainly illustrates it. So much has happened with the solar and lunar eclipses and the reappearance of the Bethlehem Star which leaves me almost speechless. The aptly named Hurricanes Jose, Maria and Michael. President Trump and all he’s done and the fact that he is President at this particular time.

And now the never before seen political crisis in Israel. God is literally pouring out the signs that His Son is soon to snatch us out of this utterly depraved and lawless world. And the crisis in America with the people entrusted with upholding the law and our security being the most lawless in trying to remove the President for no reason other than he won, upset their World Order and is exposing their sedition is also another sign, imho, that after the Rapture, there will be no good moral people in high positions of power.

It’s also disturbing that if they’re willing to perpetrate such acts against a sitting President, what’s to stop them from doing the very same to his supporters or anyone they choose to persecute, certainly not the Constitution.

Cling to God and His Promises because He is Faithful and will take us home at the moment He has always planned to. More signs are coming. What a terrifying and exhilarating time we live in. Thank God Jesus keeps us protected otherwise I can understand those who don’t know Him having hearts failing them for fear.

There were no “Palestinians” when Jordan, Egypt and Syria controlled East Jerusalem, the Sinai and Golan Heights. It was to keep the hate going against Israel and the lie of “occupation.” TransJordan/Jordan is the “Palestinian’s” country.

IMHO, at least I know I’m guilty of it at times, in our limited fleshly minds, we can’t imagine the One True Almighty God telling his Holy Angel to go get Archangel’s cats. He has innumerable Angels at His command and even just one Angel is so powerful. This is presupposing my pets don’t get Raptured when we do but I have sent many prayers up to Heaven for them and I know God hears and understands every word. Given that no children had been born previous to God increasing the "sorrows" of women through child bearing leads one to wonder what it would have originally been like?

Saturn beats Jupiter with 82 moons, including 20 just discovered

      Quoting, CBC,

"Saturn has broken a new solar system record with the discovery of 20 new moons circling it.

The ringed planet now has 82 known moons, smashing the previous record held by Jupiter, which has 79, reported the Carnegie Institution for Science Monday.

In fact, Jupiter has held the 'moon king' title for decades, and got a dozen new moons added to its tally just last year, says Scott Sheppard, the Carnegie astronomer who led the new discoveries.

'Saturn has just surpassed it for the first time today,' he added. 'I think these moons are exciting because they tell us about the planet formation process.'"

So here we are on the holiest day on the Hebrew calendar, Yom Kippur, and the sixth planet is exulted over the king planet Jupiter in terms of moons that orbit it. That sure rings to me of numbers of *followers*?! Supremacy even?

An interesting time for such an announcement to be made. Highly symbolic? Perhaps. But it certainly points to the pre-eminence of Saturn over all of the solar system and that is interesting in and of itself.

Forgive my thinking on the fly, but these keep coming to me as I do my daily work...

Yom Kippur is the ONLY day of the year that a human may enter the Holy of Holies to make atonement for the sins of Israel. The man of sin is the one who is yet to enter and thereby desecrate the Holy of Holies in the time of trouble to come.

On the eve of the Day of Atonement (Erev Yom Kippur) Saturn is exulted over the king planet as supreme amongst the planets of the solar system? Saturn, the planet CROWNED with a massive ring system (a ring system that is disappearing!) exulted over the king planet who is also crowned with a ring system (although so faint you cannot see it from Earth) that is marked with stripes and a massive RED spot (hole) that is now quickly fading from view?

      Hmmm...

A shadow of things to come? Perhaps.

That, Moin, is a good question and topic for a Bible study. I think we can certainly say that the sum of everything happening today is leading to a certain point in history that fulfils Scriptural prophecy. This single act may not be enough to fulfil prophesy but it may make a way as one domino in many to fall.

The Turks began their military offensive today in Northern Syria. Damascus says they have opened their arms to welcome refugees home. We have God's Word as our guide and His Word will not come back void. His will be done.

I believe the LORD will call us immediately prior to war...a reprise of the Red Sea crossing if you will. Could the coming solar eclipse on Boxing Day (Christmas Day in the west) be a foreshadowing of that war to come? It's one of the questions that I am asking.

    (something like that)

Then watch Truthstream Media's video about abundance of unicorn merchandise in the stores. Put those two videos together in your mind and I believe you will see that the unicorn is very anti-christ.

Spoiler alert: The Bible mentions unicorn because it's a rhinoceros. There are 2 types. One with 2 horns on snout.... And one with 1 horn on snout. The single horn one is the unicorn. It's a rhinoceros. Nowhere does it say it looks like a horse or have rainbow poop. Etc...

  31. Pre-tribulationist premillennialists believe that Jesus Christ will return in the air to secretly ‘rapture’ true believers before the Tribulation begins on earth. After seven years of tribulation, Christ will return with His saints to overcome the Antichrist and his forces and establish God’s millennial kingdom on earth.

    You guys are mad!

    Replies
    1. Hi Anonymous,

Yes, we pre-tribulation dispensationalist believe that Christ will come on the clouds to meet the saints in the air, (for many of us that means before the opening of the seven seals); but the Tribulation doesn't occur until the last 42-months of what is generally known as Daniel's 70th week.

There is no secret in this as the Bible clearly states,

16 For the Lord himself will
descend from heaven with a cry
of command, with the voice of
an archangel, and with the sound
of the trumpet of God. And the
dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive, who
are left, will be caught up
together with them in the clouds
to meet the Lord in the air, and
so we will always be with the
      Lord.

      18 Therefore encourage one
      another with these words.

      (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 ESV)

I'm sorry but I don't see any secret society or a gnostic gospel in this. The Resurrection/Rapture (RR) is very real. When it happens is up for our debate. That it happens is just plain truth. Scripture plainly says to talk about it, encourage one another with this good news and share it! Nowhere does it say to keep it under wraps, hush, hush as a trade secret for the few *true* believers.

Many of us in this space see this occurring before the opening of the first seal and is how we are convicted by the whole of Scripture. YMMV. Does that make us or you any less of a Christ follower?

Does it matter that we parse the finer points of Eschatology? Are these salvation issues? Are we given to demonize an opposing point of view? Or are we better know by the love we have for one another as children of the Living God that faithfully and consistently point others to Christ? Indeed, better it is to be unified as a body that proclaims Christ crucified, Christ resurrected and Christ the King alive forever more.

I can preach this on and on and quote Scripture but it plainly speaks in a language we all understand. The Spirit speaks to the heart and His laws are written upon all our hearts. Only God knows the heart as Christ is our great High Priest, our intercessor and King.

And for any of you who wonder, "Who are the true believers?" What do I have to do to be a true believer? What is the work of God?

Read these...(John 6:28-29 ESV) and (Romans 10:9-10 ESV)

All it takes is your honest and sincere, "Yes!" It's that simple.

So Anonymous, if you have done the two things in Romans 10 given by Paul through the Holy Spirit, then you are family in Christ! If that makes me *mad* then so be it.

  32. Having closely followed the prophecy scene for decades, I have now lived through multiple periods of great expectation, and an equal number of disappointments. As a child, I remember very well the 1988 "88 reasons". More recently, I followed closely the excitement surrounding 9/23/15, 9/23/17, etc. So far, the prophecy community has a 100% fail rate. I'm not saying the rapture will NEVER happen. I'm just saying at this point I think we need to hedge a bit. It seems likely that AT THE VERY LEAST, nothing will happen for the next year or so. This means we will be going through another election cycle. We will also likely be going through another economic collapse. Possibly a shooting war with Iran. So many possibilities ...
I would at this point gently encourage everyone that follows this site to start making preparations. Set some food aside. Get in shape physically. Prepare yourself mentally. I think we are going into the maelstrom. How bad things get before we actually are pulled out remains to be seen. It could get pretty bad. It certainly has in other parts of the world already. I'm not advocating for a "mid-trib" or "post-trib" viewpoint. I'm just saying that at this point it's very unclear.

    1. Thank you for sharing your heart and your perspective. It makes all the difference...

I too was crushed when 9/23/17 passed. We had a thunderstorm that night and man was I *ready*. The next morning was met by disappointment but more than that I learned a valuable lesson. I learned to measure my emotions in these matters and not jump to conclusions.

I believe we are all called to think for ourselves. As Joshua so plainly stated,

      15 "...choose this day whom
you will serve, whether the gods
your fathers served in the region
beyond the River, or the gods of
the Amorites in whose land you
dwell. But as for me and my
house, we will serve the LORD."

      (Joshua 24:15 ESV)

I was once of a survivalist mindset. I am no longer. I am open to alternate interpretations of Scripture in these matters but thus far see no reason to question my stated position. The great sign was the game changer in my mind. There was a time when it seemed like we would never live to see 1990. Times changed and are changing. But God's Word will never change. You know that as well as I.

Be encouraged that we see only in part. We are so often governed by our emotions, our desires and our hopes. Not to put you or anyone else down for it -- not at all! I believe we are given to stand watch, keep looking and make sure that the world knows that time is short...whether we are called Home or He comes for us in the coming Day.

Thank you for your response and your faithful watching and waiting. It's all going to be worth it! In the meantime let us not waste the chances we get to reflect Jesus in all that we are and all that we do so that our fingers point not to the sins of others but point others toward Christ!

When that day finally arrives and He explains why it was that day, we will wonder why we couldn't figure it out. But we probably won't care about that anymore, we'll be finally with the source of all the answers. Maranatha!

    3. "He did say He would come at a time we least expected Him... So if you think it might be another two years... He could be here today, tomorrow, or next week."

During a time of world peace and economic prosperity? In times of crisis and war, Christians think easily that the Rapture must be near.

    4. He also said people would be going about their daily business... Marrying, giving in marriage... At least to me, this seems to indicate that some areas would be relatively peaceful, enough so that people are planning their futures rather than living day to day.

  33. The fortress of Ephraim taken away in Isaiah 17 could be the us pulling out of Syria...

The us has acted as one of the final restrainers staving off the invasion from the north. The Kurds/Medes are another restrainer that is not very powerful and will likely be destroyed.

Could we be seeing Daniel 8?...Iran/Susa being the ram and Turkey (?) The goat

Could it be that the us pulling out of the north makes Israel now a "land of unwalled villages"? Ezek 38:11

  36. A PIN-POINT: POWER CUT-OFFS

No traffic lights and days of darkness. Here's how life has changed inside Northern California's power shutoff

    Quoting, CNN,

"Police, fire, water, sewer and garbage-pickup services will continue, and the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system isn't expected to shut down, though some stations may face escalator outage.

A number of schools canceled classes on Thursday, including UC Berkeley and Sonoma State University. All schools in the Napa Valley and Cloverdale unified school districts, along with some Santa Rosa schools, will be closed Thursday, as well.

People who rely on medical devices are urged to get them charged at community centers that will remain powered, officials said."

This is so surreal and unimaginable for those living it. No electricity means swaths of the fifth largest economy on the planet are brought to a standstill. Let that soak in! Think on that one for a moment and ask, "Is this a shadow of things to come?"

Doth the kettle boil a bit more?

    1. Here's an interesting quote from Koinonia House from a teaching session by the late Chuck Missler regarding a study untaken a decade ago on the effects of a national black-out in the United States due to Electromagnetic Pulse,

"[It is] estimated that 12 months of a nationwide blackout, up to 90% of the U.S. population could possibly perish from starvation, disease and societal breakdown.

Commission to Assess the Threat to the United States from Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Attack 2008"

This information is part of a multi-part teaching by Chuck which include,

Behold a White Horse - Session 2 - Chuck Missler
Behold a Red Horse - Session 1 - Chuck Missler

  37. Has anyone heard anything new on the status of the Israeli election situation? Whos to say that a third election will get a different result?

    1. Anonymous,

i24news.tv is a good source of news and information on Israel. Their website is generally user friendly.

At last check the fourth and last day of the Netanyahu corruption hearing was completed before Yom Kippur. The Prime Minister was given 28-days to form a government by mandate. That mandate will run-out on 10/27-10/28 and may potentially be extended by 14-days (42-days total).

The 22nd Knesset was sworn-in with some abstentions IIRC. It is possible that Benny Gantz may be given the mandate to form a government but that is merely speculation on my part and rumour heard online. There has been talk of a split leadership of Gantz/Netanyahu -- you can dig on those topics as you wish.

You are right when you say, "Who's to say that a third election will get a different result?" Israel is in an HISTORIC deadlock. This is completely unprecedented. A third election would be called for but I think there is little expectation of a different outcome.

Again, IIRC, voter turn-out was very low...in the low 20% range for the last snap elections? (Don't hold me to that number!)

Here's an overview of the last elections for anyone interested,

      September 2019 Israeli legislative election

Time has not run-out on the PM to form a government so we will have to see what happens next?

    2. Looks like voter turn-out in the September snap election was 69.8% according to September 2019 Israeli legislative election. I might suggest an independent verification of that figure for those who are really interested.

  42. Jim's father says there is a U.S. marine base in El Tanf (south Syria) with a couple of thousand American personnel. We are NOT completely out. And he has heard there are secretive underground American bases in Israel.

The BIG question is, what of these bases when Gog Magog comes to invade?

Harpazo? New Madrid? Civil war? Lazy refusal to help Israel? Yellowstone? EMP?

I suspect an attack from Russia (fire rains on the coastlands and isles). Perhaps the 'fire' rained down is an EMP on America. Game over, Israel on its own.

  44. To Kevin,
I personally think that the great gathering a.k.a. the Rapture is what will cripple the U.S.. Its going to be devastating to the economy. The insurance claims alone will do it. Then seeing our vulnerability, an attack like the things you mentioned would likely follow soon after.

    1. The EU will also be crippled right after the Rapture. Christians who have important positions in the government, military, police, business, healthcare, etc. will be gone. That will wreak havoc across European societies, paving the way for the formation of an alliance of 10 EU nations with the antichrist as their leader.
