The Patience of the Saints

As everyone knows, the last few days, weeks and months have brought staggering global change that has reshaped the landscape of the entire world. For some, 2020 has been the most difficult year of their lives.

For me, it is the literal best year of my life.

I'm going to step out of my comfort zone and get a little personal today. Some of you may know that I deleted my Facebook account and have been in a quiet season, needing to temper the constant flow of world events and unrest both within the church and without. There is a sweet and tender reason for this: after seventeen years of marriage, a little miracle made himself known in an ER on my fortieth birthday and I'm now eight months pregnant with my son. As I prepare for his birth, my ministry has shifted and I've needed to tend to things a little closer to home.

Even with trying to direct most of my attention to my home and nutrition and getting ready for my little one, I've not been isolated from the news and tragedies that are going on everyday. The violence and hypocrisy and other things revealed over the last several days have been so heavy in my spirit, and I wonder if maybe others have felt it, too. While I've been quiet in several places, not writing much, and sometimes not even knowing what to say [pregnancy brain is real!], there have been a few things the Lord has placed on my heart. This makes me really nervous to say, but I've started a youtube channel to share them. I've recorded only one message as of now, and to be honest, I'm focusing my channel on women believers (although I hope anyone who watches will be blessed in some way).

What has been pressing on me so much has been "the patience of the saints." We know it is spoken of in Scripture further along in the timeline of prophetic events, but I believe that now, today, it is just as important as we persevere and seek to live and do what God has called us to do amidst unspeakable lawlessness while we watch and wait for His Son.

In this message, I am sharing how He has encouraged me during this time and I hope it will bless you.

(I just have to add, please have grace on me. I'm new at this, at least in a public forum since the Lord awakened and delivered me, and I'm feeling every second of eight-months-pregnant [interpret this as: tired & frumpy] but I wanted to put this out there during these perilous times.)

I hope and pray that you are well and filled with the joy of the Lord.

And an anthem for these times:

  1. AWESOME!!!

Glad to see you sharing in the video realm. Congratulations on your soon to be arrival! We welcomed two of our three sons in our mid-40's so understand the 40-something "Mommy-brain!" It got to a point with my wife that Boy 3.0 was invited one-week early.

Enjoy these last days before your blessed arrival! Nothing will be the same again -- and that's a beautiful thing in and of itself.

    Congrats!

    1. Thank you kindly, Pastor Rich! Glad to hear that you and your wife also experienced the blessing of children in your 40s...what a gift. We are truly blessed. Made me laugh to hear about your child #3. I can relate!! :)

    2. Congratulations! After years of infertility, I became pregnant and gave birth to a son at age 43. He is now 20 and such a blessing. On the practical side, be aware that sleep deprivation is tough in the forties 😐.

    3. I'm so happy to hear about your son, Barb! What a blessing. It's encouraging to hear from others who have also given birth at a "geriatric age" as they say about any pregnancy over age 35. I can imagine, though, that sleep deprivation and other basic life functions are way more difficult. It's worth it, though! :)

    4. Absolutely worth it! A doctor (not mine) referred to me as an "elderly" mother. Well, not as elderly as Sarah!

    5. Yeah we got that too Barb, "elderly" mother! Tell that to my wife, we'd keep having kids if we could.

When the LORD says it's time it's time. We had our middle son at 43 (now age 14) then our youngest at 45 (now age 12); both in the same room at the same hospital! Our oldest son was at age 30 (now age 26). My wife and I weren't even legal to drink alcohol when we met in college. We had many miscarriages along the way so I suspect we have at least five or six more children waiting for us when we get Home!

I still remember the day we discussed family and decided in our hearts we wanted a large family of eight or so. God gave us three here and the rest waiting for us in heaven. I can't wait to meet them and for all of us to be together and One with the LORD!

We are so happy for you Hillary -- we'll be praying for you, for good health to the "Wee-one" and a smooth, safe and blessed delivery.

Barb is spot-on, "Absolutely worth it!"

    7. Hi, Hillary,

I gave birth to my precious little one at age 39. No one dared call me elderly, though. :)
My pregnancy was relatively very easy and was non eventful. I am so glad for the gift of my daughter that Yeshua has 'given' me and I wish you every happiness!! Many blessings!

  2. There she is! :)

Been missing your posts and comments in our private group. :)

It's ironic that you bring this topic up, and I have a chance to share with you a portion of something I wrote to another we both know just today, concerning the tie in between Luke 21 and Revelation 3 of "Patient Endurance".
    ___

In (Luke 21:19) we see the command to the Church/Body of "patient endurance", which is reflected in the proper observance of the church of Philadelphia in (Rev 3:10), because they have kept that command of "patient endurance", and are therefor spared the time of trial that comes upon the WHOLE world, we know as the Tribulation.

    2. Hello, brother! Good to see you :) I hope you are well and holding fast in these days. The verses you shared are so perfect and I shared similar yesterday, too. Maybe the Holy Spirit is gently speaking "endurance" to the whole body right now and that is so comforting. I know I've used this visual before but what the church is going through right now in these last moments sometimes reminds me of that scene in Braveheart where the army is being charged at and Mel Gibson is holding back his own line and keeps shouting "HOLD! HOLD!" until the exact moment when they rush forward. We are "holding" right now with the help and restraint of the Holy Spirit.

God bless & thank you for your kind words!

  3. Blessings Sister Hillary, and Congratulations! - Revelation 5:5

4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

    1. You are very kind, Chris! Thank you...and I agree 100% that God is using current events to loosen our grip on the world, and also reveal what's in our hearts. It is such a time of mercy and seems similar to when He spoke to the churches in Rev. 2 & 3..."this I have against you." Giving them time to repent and correct what needs to be corrected while there is still time to do so.

I'm glad you enjoyed the song!

      Delete
    2. "This I have against you" is written to ISRAEL not the current body of Christ. And no, God didnot bring on the current pandemic to teach us a lesson and make us loosen our grip on the world. Have you forgotten about a character known as the devil?

God doesnot hurt people, he is all good. The devil is very good at doing things and getting people to blame God for his actions. Dont fall for this.

  8. Hillary,
As a woman, your target audience, I can tell you that I am NOT "enduring" these times; I am celebrating them. Watching the thin veneer of an apostate world crumble before my eyes is thrilling in anticipation of an end to sin's decay with HIS KINGDOM actually in sight. VICTORY! I have never been more overjoyed & can only explain it as Paul's realization of taking joy in all things and being focused on the Comforter sent for such a time as this.

    1. So glad to hear it, sfg! I've gone through various seasons and the current events have really affected me deeply. Glad to know other sisters in the faith have not been affected the same way by the violence and hypocrisy and lawlessness, and seeing so many who are lost and deceived who may not come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved. But I am overjoyed that He is coming soon. Maranatha!

    2. All of these negative things are taking place exactly as written in the Word according to His will. Jesus walked along with those deceived, rejecting truth never losing His composure. In fact, at times, such people earned His rebuke. I am surrounded by prideful Bible mockers who insist that the Bible is pure fiction. IF the reality of casting pearls to swine brings tears to some people, so be it. OR it can be viewed to be joyful that those who chose to board the ark are on their way to the rewards of faith as written. JOY!

While I've been around for the birth of way too many to count critters (always seems to happen around 3-4 a.m.), I've only personally had 3 of my own - all later. I'm happy and excited for you - and your son! Just think, he will spend at least a part of his childhood "growing up" in heaven!
Okay, that may have sounded somewhat morbid, but it's NOT - really!
    * * * *
I'm not sure exactly how aging and growth are going to happen in heaven: children who have been aborted, lost to miscarriages, those who die in infancy or young childhood - how do they grow and in what time frame???
If parents lose a baby while in their 20's and are raptured in their 50's, do they then have an infant or a 30 year old child??? It will be curious to find out!
    * * * *
There's been talk for years about the kind of world we're leaving our children. And, of course, a rash of such discussion lately with all the goings on...
I look at all the kiddos and am so very grateful to God that they won't be here for what's to come!

    2. Growing up is a mortal process. I think all of us will be the same “ageless age” in the Kingdom, regardless of what physical age we depart this world. And I think we’ll know each other on an entirely different basis than anything we can imagine now.

      DW

      Delete
    3. I think that there's a chance that physically, people are "ageless", maybe mature adults, but I think we all will continue to learn. Adults who die have a small head start in learning, but children who die also learn. So I think a baby who dies will get to learn things (how to read, the names of the bones, etc) in Heaven. Maybe we'll all get a bit of a boost (like a common language we all instantly know), but my view is that if I were raptured today, I'd get to be a teacher to my little ones about science, math, etc (or happily entrust that teaching to others), all free of labor, strife, boredom, impatience, etc.

But that's a just an opinion and I could very well be wrong.

      Delete
    4. I believe that, b/c Yeshua is the Redeemer, they would still be very small. That way, the parents haven't missed anything. On the other hand, this could also be accomplished if we are all ageless. In the eternal state, there are children, though. All of those parents' lost hopes and dreams will be fulfilled. I don't know how, but I know and trust that Yeshua can and will do it! :) Blessings.

  11. I thought it would be a good time to write this. I keep seeing references made to the book of Revelation which is consistantly and erroneously applied to our current Body of Christ, age of grace era.

By the time the biblical story begins and ends from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 there will have been 8 administration time periods.

    1. Original paradise- Genesis 1:3-24
    2. Conscience- Genesis 4:1-7:11
    3. Civil gov't- Genesis 8:15-Exodus 19:25
    4.Law- Exodus 20:1- Acts 2:1
    5. Grace- Acts 2:4 -Revelation 1:1
    6. Tribulation- Rev. 1:1-20:4
    7.Paradise restored-Rev. 20:4-20:15
    8.The everlasting kingdom-Rev.21:1-22:21

I hope that most of you are not sacrificing sheep and goats to atone for your sins. I think we all realize that there have been some changes since Adam. Agreed?

    1. One thing that has confused Christians is where in 1:4, John addresses the letter to the seven CHURCHES. From that many assume its referring to Christian churches. Lets look at that word church. It is the greek word "Eklesia". All this word means is a group of people. In Acts 7:38 the word church is used and is referring in its context to the Jews not Christians.
In Acts 19:32 the word Eklesia is translated assembly, this group of people were followers of the pagan goddess diana. Again, not a Christian gathering.

2.In Rev.2:16 Jesus says "Repent or else I will come quickly and fight against them with the sword of my mouth". Compare that with Pauls letters where it says that Christ has justified us and that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. A completely different tone. Thats because the law administration has returned.

3.Look at Rev. 2:9, 3:9 where it mentions the word "Synagogue". Last I knew a synagogue is not a place for Christian worship. This is another clue that were not dealing with Christians here.

4.One last point, during the seven Church epistles written by Paul to US (The current body of Christ) the eating of food offered to idols is only a problem if it is a stumbling block to those whose conscience is weak.( 1 Cor 8:1-13) Now look at Rev. 2:14,20. After the rapture of the Church the grace involving eating food sacrificed to idols is removed and reverts back to the law.

There is much more I could add but I cant write a book. These are the main points I wanted to make. God bless.

    1. "To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." (Rev. 1:5-6)

Did Jews believe that Christ had freed them from their sins by His blood?

"I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance THAT ARE IN JESUS CHRIST, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. I was in the Spirit ON THE LORD'S DAY, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.” (Rev. 1:9-11)

Why would John refer to himself as "your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance THAT ARE IN JESUS CHRIST" if these letters were written to JEWS?

What day did the Jews call the Sabbath? Saturday. What day was called the Lord's Day and by whom? I'm pretty sure it was Sunday, by Christians.

Were Jews ever "in Jesus Christ"? The church was made-up of mostly Jews at first, but those Jews then became known as "the Way". In other words, they became Christians.

“‘I know YOUR works. Behold, I have set before YOU an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that YOU have but little power, and yet YOU have kept my word and have not denied my name. Behold, I will make THOSE of the synagogue of Satan who say that THEY are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make THEM come and bow down before YOUR feet, and THEY will learn that I have loved YOU.” (Rev. 3:8-9)

While I realize that there is disagreement among theologians regarding exactly WHO “the synagogue of Satan” is, it is clear that they were NOT part of the Church. In the letter to the church at Philadelphia, Christ refers to the members of the church as "you". He refers to the "synagogue of Satan" as "they", and says that He will make "them" come and bow down at "your" feet. The same pronouns are used in Rev. 2:9 when Christ refers to the church at Smyrna as “you” and “the synagogue of Satan”, who are slandering them, as “they”.

Clearly, these are two different groups of people.

    2. Ava, I find your rebuttal to be weak and inaccurate on at least two points. First of all "The Lords day" is not referring to the weekly sabbath, it is talking about the tribulation. Secondly, John called them brothers because he also was a Jew. Everything else you wrote is a waste of space. Nice try though.

      Delete
    3. You could not be more wrong. Thankfully, the majority of those reading this WILL know the truth. It's funny, I wasn't going to reply to your nonsensical comment at all, but the Holy Spirit wouldn't allow me to let it go.

I do hope anyone following this will join me in praying for Mainer because, sadly, he/she is very, very deceived.

      Delete
    4. If this is only for the tribulation, why not have it be given by the two witnesses? Or an angel to deliver when the time was right?

It was given to John and humanity for a reason. I guess we'll find out that reason soon enough...

  18. No criticisms here, Just encouragement.

The traditional belief is “you can’t know the day or the hour” of the Rapture.  And even if that tradition were true, it doesn’t preclude us from knowing everything else about the end times.  That false tradition only states that we can’t know the actual day and hour of its occurrence.

But what that false tradition suggests is that we can know all about the time that leads up to that day and hour that no one but God knows about.  This exact day and hour isn’t going to just arrive in time out of nowhere, it’s following a trail that came out of the history of the past that leads right into the history of the present, on its way to the fulfillment of its prophesied end.

Daniel’s prophecy is a trail through time, people and place.  He prophesied from the time of Babylon to the coming of God’s Kingdom on earth that will last forever.  History has proven beyond any doubt that the path it followed into the present day places us exactly at the end of that line, from then until now.  However, the trail goes yet further into the future, but to a known conclusion.

Our place in time is easily seen when it’s viewed from a perspective wide enough to see the trail from the time of the bondage of these people in Egypt, on that land, through the present, to its prophesied end.  Everyday of your life you would know right where you were in time, by knowing how close you were to the finish line, and the pace at which it’s moving.

If we are living in the end times, then the events of the present time on that land, and on those people that the prophecy concerns, must align with the events of the prophecy.  It’s clearly apparent that God sealed the words of that prophecy until the time of the end, so when we reached that time in history, it would be obvious.  And, as it is, it is obvious; but only if you know where to look, what you are looking for, and why you are looking there to see it.

Paul teaches that the catching away occurs in the spring, 40 days after First Fruits.  Paul also teaches that the dead in Christ rise first on First Fruits.  Paul also teaches the children of the light and the day to Watch!  And then when the dead in Christ rise and are seen, they are to Warn, and rejoice!

We may think that we can’t  know the day or the hour, but we know a lot about the end times.  In fact, that day and the hour that are set on the calendar are known.  First Fruits was celebrated in the time of Christ, as the first day of the week (Sunday) after the first Sabbath (Saturday) after the first day of Passover.  Passover was always on the 15th day of the first month of the holy year.

    1. No, Paul does not teach that anywhere in the Church epistles. Nonsense.

    2. Well, we shall see, now won't we!

After the message of the Churches, not one word about them till chapter 19.

The AC is not the AC until the beast from out of the pit possesses him until that time, he is the Little Horn on the rise and it’s the little horn that confirms the peace and he come out at chapter 6.
He rises to being the false deliverer of the Jews and the Maudi of the Moslem world because of the act of confirming the peace there are only 2 obstacles to peace in the Mideast today the temple mount in Jerusalem and the Refugees
both are in the hands of the Hashemite King.

The Hashemite King is the 43rd direct descendant of the prophet Mohammed.
To be Maudi, you must be a descendant of Mohammed.
To be Messiah to the Jews, you have to be anyone who brings peace and security to Israel and builds the temple.

There can be no peace until that's worked out and there can be no peace with Israel until the temple mount is worked out, the King holds the keys to temple mount.

The King's kingdom is on the Palestinian home land.
The King will get back Iraq, which is his real kingdom that was usurped from him by the UAR, which was Egypt and Syria at the time.

So the solution to the Mideast problem lies in Jordan.

Give Jordan back to the Palestinians for their homeland as it was pre 1921.
The peace that allows the Jews to have temple mount rights on a shared temple mount that is confirmed by a leader from out of the Seleucid portion of the Old Grecian Empire who is given power by the kings on the land that were once ruled by Rome in her day.

There is only one person on todays stage that can possibly qualify under those Biblical guidelines

But they will get the 40 days of warning just like Nineveh because Jonah is the only sign of the Messiah and Jesus is the Messiah but not to the Jews only to us substitutes.

God said that all of the Philadelphians only and 50% of the Laodicean Church are going to make it. They will not be aware of what that sign really is when those many dead rise and are seen in Jerusalem during those 40 days and according to scripture, he shares the wealth with his people he’s a benevolent king worthy of all the worlds respect.

  19. So, in the year in history that we reach the time for this to occur, it will happen exactly then, as it was set by God to happen then.  And, as the first day of the Jewish week begins at sundown on Saturday, that will be the exact hour of its occurrence as that hour begins the day of the feast.  Those times are the feasts, or “set times” of God’s plan for the coming of the Messiah.
Paul also taught that those set times were but shadows of things to come for the Church, and the substance casting the shadow was the Messiah.
This will all occur again, in a springtime when the elements that are precisely laid out in Daniel that we now see on the present day stage of history are exactly aligned with the set time in God’s plan.  That is why Paul could only leave us with the command to watch.  It is something you must see to be aware of its existence.
First we have to be in the right time in history for Daniel’s prophecy to be seen.  The generation living is in that time who are watching for it will see the dead rise in Jerusalem.  Those risen dead are there to warn the Jews of God’s coming destruction for 40 days, when the Rapture will happen, and age of the Church will be over.
Our job is to first be aware of the Word.  Then when we receive its message, we are to warn the others, and rejoice with them that we know, and that it’s such a short time to our redemption.  We can actually count the days once the dead rise. Now that’s something to rejoice about!

  20. Hi, just a quick shout out about the documentary 'American Gospel: Christ alone'. It is a year or two old, so might be old news to others, but was new to me and I thought it was really well done. Very Christ honoring showing how the whole story of the Bible is Jesus (and thus showing how pitiful and wretched the 'man-centered gospel' and 'faith-prosperity gospel' is.)

It is on netflix as the full documentary or a much shorter one hour version on youtube here:
    https://youtu.be/ocHm18wUAGU

    Definitely worth watching! : )

In their meeting, the two discussed the efforts put in place to curb the spread of the coronavirus, as well as the the Middle East peace process.".

The Hungary's Foreign Affairs Minister is Péter Szijjártó. Could he be the future antichrist?

  22. Lets continue, this is fun.

    The time is AD 70

The prince of Rome, Antiochus, destroys the temple and kicks the Jews out of Israel and renames it Palestine, does the abomination of desolation and everything else that Daniel calls for.
It had to happen to fulfill scripture at that time.

Christ could have returned and defeated the enemy and the Millennium is started
    but the Jews said no!
So that could not have been the last time that would happen.
God did not set up his kingdom at that time.

So was Antiochus a shadow cast of the coming AC?

He turned out to be that, he was for real there for a while. Had the Jews said yes, Jesus would have come and cleaned house, and set up the Kingdom.
It would have been all done then. The Lord would return, set up the Kingdom and the Jews would inherit it. It was all set up, but left to FREE WILL.

God had the secret plan waiting in the wings just in case, all written into scripture from the beginning no secret codes its all there.

So the substitutes had to be found that would accept it on faith, because they weren't going to see the crucifixion again – Jesus only had to die once.
So now the Messiah had to be passed on to the Church who was the mystery that was revealed only to Paul, the fail safe plan God stored in His mind incase it was needed.

The Church would not be Jew or Gentile but new Creatures in Christ a new race.
Just to receive the promise made to the chosen people but the reward for faith was greater than the reward for performance.

So, now the time for the events of Daniel to repeat in history had to come about again in order to bring it to an end and to the Kingdom that was promised that same set of circumstances had to exist again sometime in the future.

If the Jews had accepted Christ, there would have been no need for a rapture, tribulation, or even a  New Testament?

The Church was the fail safe plan hidden in the mind of God incase the FREE WILL chose against Him.
And it did so the hidden plan was put into motion and the whole timing of the end was pushed up into the future to be seen when the events of Daniel were seen on the stage and when they were we would see it because we were commanded to watch. And when we saw it we were to warn the others and get ready for the promise to the Church to be fulfilled, then He goes back to deal with the chosen people and we know from Revelation what happens to them.

    OK, I'm done!

  23. Have you considered the possibility that very few have been authentic disciples of Jesus - meeting the minimum requirements which He clearly set forth in Luke 14 and John 8? Perhaps the time has come for us to return to the words of Jesus instead of teaching the writings of Paul without the foundation of Jesus' teachings first. One who denies self daily and takes up the cross daily; one who forsakes everything to become His disciple; one who receives the holy hatred of family and self; and one who seeks and receives the truth needed to get set free from delusions and deceptions will find that he or she had taken the yoke of Jesus upon themselves to begin to be His disciple. THEN we will be able to discern truth from error. THEN we will be able to know Father's will and do it. Then we will be living for Father's pleasure alone, and reap the satisfaction which only comes from pleasing Father in every respect! THEN we will enjoy the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace!

    4. Everything we do as humans falls short of the glory of God, therefore no sin is "worse" than any other, and all of them, past, present and future were nailed to the cross that Jesus bore.
God is looking for trust from man, not perfection.  Remember folks, we are not sinners because we sin, we sin because we’re sinners.

I can think of two reasons why God made us sinners.  First, it fits His plan perfectly to use our sinfulness to keep the connection with us alive and vital.  Our personal relationship is dependent on sinning!
We stay connected to God by knowing that our sins were forgiven by His actions, and working directly with Him in our daily struggle to avoid the Devil and his temptations.
Without owning up to sins, we would have no need for God.

Secondly, for His own good, He uses our sins to build the trust in Him that is requires to accept His word as fact, so you can freely accept the graciousness of the gift of His mercy. Sin gives grace meaning.
That’s why He doesn’t make and end to it until the end.
      Christians are Raptured!
Paul said that you are changed from corruptible to incorruptible when you put on your immortality.
You are no longer a sinner, but sin goes on, and the Great Tribulation is how He deals with it after the Rapture, with those who mistrusted Him and didn’t accept His gift.

The law is included in the covenant with the Jews, not Christians! Christians are covered by Grace, which is "unmerited favor" from God because of what Jesus did.  Faith is what saves, and faith is an action based upon belief and sustained by confidence.  People are either in Christ or not in Christ.

    5. The real problem is that once again in history, the word of God, which is His covenant has been turned from a life style into a religion. The Jews did the same thing, resulting in them missing the Messiah when He came on the scene, which is what Scripture says will happen to Christians in the end. The only special warning that God gives in the end time is to the Church of Laodicea, the final age of the Church. He says; either ask me in, and join me in my throne, or don't and get spit out. Then He says; those who have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit sayeth unto the Churches. Then no more words for the Church.

      Ok, I'm done!

  25. I’ve actually been pondering this after a decade of walking with God.

“past, present and future were nailed to the cross that Jesus bore.”

In 1 John 1:9, it says that IF we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Here it is “sins” - referring to sinful acts, not sinful nature within us.

Then, what about the sins which we did NOT confess? Or make reparations for?

    1. Hi SC,

This is actually a very important question and one that many Christians get confused over. Remember when Jesus washed Peter's feet? What did Jesus say to Peter?

John 13:10 Jesus answered, "A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And you are clean..."

In other words, all true born again believers are clean - they are forgiven of all sins, past, present and future. They are already 'made perfect' (Heb 10:14) Yet as we walk in this world we get dirty feet. Hard not to. This doesn't change our standing with the Lord as being righteous and forgiven in His sight because of Jesus' work on our behalf. And dying with dirty feet (unconfessed sin) doesn't change a believers standing of being 'clean' and forgiven in Him. Just noting this as some get really scared wondering what will happen if they die with unconfessed sin!

But it does mean, for our fellowship HERE AND NOW with the Lord, that we need to do what 1 John 1:9 says and confess our sins and to Him and experience that cleansing. Again, this is not a salvation issue. Nor do we need to be continually searching for something to confess! The Holy Spirit puts things on our heart to confess when needed. As a general rule we should walk in THANKFULNESS for the forgiveness and amazing position that Christ has given you by GRACE.

One of my favorite authors and Bible teachers, William MacDonald, has some great thoughts on this where he shows the difference between what is called Judicial & Parental Forgiveness. I did a search and found it on the following site. Have a read... and a think! Note the table especially.

      Hope it helps : )

What we can do is grab a promise of God and hold on till death if you have to.
All the promises of God are yes in Christ, well how do you get in Christ, same formula
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth declaration is made unto salvation.
Its that Faith connection trust that God wants. That, Gods substance He puts in you for that faith trust connection changes you from the inside out.
