The Narrative

Like many prophecy-minded folks, the recent attacks on Iran being carried out by the United States and Israel have got me thinking about the (likely soon-coming) attack of Gog-Magog that is described in Ezekiel 38–39. This current attack on Iran has also got me thinking about the particulars of how that ultimately unsuccessful existential attack on Israel that Ezekiel describes and other events and aspects of the end-time scenario fit together and influence each other—especially in terms of their relative timing—in the overall scenario.
A scenario that appears
to be ready to get cranked up to the next level.
Before I even get going
with this, let me say up front that I have already discussed much of what I
will talk about here in several previous articles. So, be ready for some links.
The reason I need to rehash a certain amount of material is because what I want
to do in this article is discuss issues related to one key part of Satan's
end-time program that in my opinion doesn't get as much attention as it
warrants (although I acknowledge that God may well have intended it that way).
And its effect on other end-time events is admittedly a bit tricky to judge
because it's so...out there. It's easily one aspect of the end-time scenario
that is unnervingly beyond us.
And that key part of the
end-time scenario
I am referring to is the UFO/alien
fairy tale.
Yes, you heard me right: fairy
tale. I don't care who claims what, who's seen what, who's got photos of
what, or who swears they're gonna disclose what some
fine day:
It's a fairy tale...and
I believe God's Word supports this view.
(Not so sure? Well,
consider this.) This is a fairy tale
that Satan has been promoting and embellishing over the last eight decades
because he intends to use it as an important part of his end-time program.
What I basically want to
do in this article is go back and review a few things I have discussed before
in previous articles concerning the end-time scenario, and in the process
rethink how I see this alien fairy tale impacting different parts of that scenario
(and I will often force myself to politely refer to it as "the
Narrative" in the remainder of this article). Here's the fundamental
problem, and it's what motivated me to write this article to begin with:
For years I was
convinced that one of Satan's primary purposes for the Narrative was to provide
the people of the world an alternative explanation of the Rapture that would
lead them away from the Bible's explanation. I assumed that as soon as the
Rapture occurred, Satan would pull out the Narrative and inundate mankind with
tales of how all these people had been vacated to a fleet of nearby spacecraft
and that those aliens were here to help us evolve spiritually to get us through
the coming earth changes, ad infinitum, ad phantasia.
I assumed Satan would immediately pull out the Narrative and lay it on the
world full force to ensure that as few people as possible would be silly enough
to believe this nonsense about a "Rapture" and would view what
occurred in terms of UFOs and aliens visiting Earth.
But it finally occurred
to me that if Satan pushed his Narrative in this manner, it would create some
logical problems in regard to the timing of Gog-Magog,
as well as drain some of the power from Satan's real primary
purpose for the Narrative.
Of course, that's just the
face of it—we'll get a bit deeper into all this later.
So, it occurred to me that
I had some things a bit out of kilter, and had a
somewhat skewed view of some aspects of the end-time scenario insofar as they
relate to UFOs and aliens...the Narrative, that is. That said, my goal here is
to go back and review certain end-time events, and in the process rethink the
way Satan is going to use the Narrative to support his end-time program.
First, let's review how
Satan got that UFO/alien fairy tale...er, I mean the Narrative going in
the first place.
The
Narrative is born
I've written about this before, but when we look at how
the Narrative was born, it's not difficult to understand that Satan owns this
big time. So at this point, let's review how that
Narrative came about.
England had held the
Mandate for Palestine since 1923; but in 1945, after the end of WWII, the
British were desperately looking to unload this burden. They had suffered
terrible damage during the war and had a nation to rebuild, so they turned to
the fledgling United Nations and asked them to take Palestine off their
hands...and the UN agreed.
The first thing the UN did
was form a committee—the United Nations Special Committee on Palestine
(UNSCOP), and the UN sent UNSCOP to Palestine in June 1947 in
order to meet with both Jewish and Arab leaders to discuss the idea of
forming an independent state for both sides. But the Arabs boycotted the whole
thing and wouldn't even speak with UNSCOP. They wanted all the
land with no Jews, but that wasn't in the offing. In other words:
The Arabs were offered a
two-state solution in 1947—just like what they caterwaul about today, and they
promptly turned their noses up at it.
Color me surprised...but
the Jews were all ears. It didn't take UNSCOP very long to come to an agreement
with Jewish leaders on forming an independent state, and in no time at all they
were ready to head back to their bosses at the UN with a big thumbs-up for the
Jews. The point is that in June 1947, it became clear to anyone paying
attention that after two thousand years, it was finally all systems go for the
formation of an independent Jewish nation.
And you'll never guess who
was paying attention:
Satan
The British Mandate for
Palestine was set to expire in August 1948, but the Brits were so anxious to
get out of Palestine that they moved that date up to May 15, 1948. True to
their word, the last British troops departed from Haifa on May 14...and the Jews
were on their own. And they were prepared.
At about 4 o'clock that
same afternoon, shortly after those last British troops were gone, Jewish
leaders met in a library in Tel Aviv to formally sign and announce the
declaration of an independent State of Israel.
The British Mandate
officially ended that night at midnight, and at 11 minutes past midnight Jewish
leaders received a phone call from the White House. A representative of U.S.
President Harry Truman told them that the United States officially recognized
the independent State of Israel.
And just like that:
The nation of Israel was
re-established in fulfillment of prophecy.
Satan knows Scripture, and
he knew that the re-establishment of the nation of Israel was the sign of signs
that basically marked the beginning of what we often think of as the end times.
In other words:
Satan knew this was the
Big One:
Old Nick knew it was showtime.
And so
Satan got to work and started preparing a key part of his end-time program. And
what exactly did he do, pray tell? Well, isn't it obvious?
He arranged for an old
couple in the sleepy little Southwestern town of Roswell, New Mexico to see
some strange lights flying overhead one evening, and then he arranged for a
local man to spot some odd debris consisting of wooden sticks, string, rubber, tape,
paper, and some material similar to aluminum foil as he drove past a sheep
ranch near Roswell.
The man wasn't sure what
it all was, and a week or so later called the local Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF). An officer on duty agreed to come over and
have a look at the junk; but when he saw it, he recalled the recent reports of
strange lights in the sky, and excitedly made a leap
of logic that would go down in history. He called the local newspaper and told
them he had found the debris of a crashed flying saucer. Later that day, other
officers (who were privy to the truth of what it really was) found out what
he had done and frantically called the newspaper back to tell them it was really just a weather balloon...but it was too late. The
headline was already in the works. And the next day,
on July 8, 1947, the headline of the Roswell Daily Record read as
follows:
RAAF Captures Flying Saucer
On Ranch in Roswell Region
In reality, the material that was found
on the sheep ranch was the wreckage of a balloon-like device that the Army was
working on in a top-secret program called Project Mogul, the goal of which was
to develop a device that they could fly over the Soviet Union to monitor their
progress in testing nuclear weapons. America had already developed nuclear
weapons, and the Russians were eager to follow suit after we used them to end
WWII about two years earlier.
But as soon as that
headline hit the newsstands, that genie was so out of the bottle...and
the Narrative was born. Satan has been busy ever since then doing everything
possible to promote and embellish this tale and elevate it to a cultural
staple, and as a result it has reached the point where the
majority of Americans believe and accept as fact three fundamental
falsehoods:
1. Advanced species of
aliens exist in the universe.
2. They possess
sophisticated technology, and are capable of
interstellar flight.
3. They have visited Earth
in the past, and will likely do so again.
This constitutes the basic
framework of the Narrative, and nearly 80 years later, here we are. Legions of
people are convinced the U.S. government is in possession of alien bodies (both
dead and alive) and about a dozen alien spacecraft (both crashed and intact).
And every few months the mainstream media teases the public with talk about the
possibility of "disclosure," or the government revealing what they
know about these aliens who are obviously visiting us for some reason. Which
reminds me...pop quiz:
Q. What does all the
endless chatter about disclosure accomplish?
A. It maintains the
illusion there is actually something to disclose.
Which there isn't, and never has been. There are no aliens (dead or
alive). There are no alien spacecraft (crashed or
intact). There is no treasure trove of advanced alien technology stashed away
in some top-secret bunker in so-called "Area 51." We are either being (a) lied to, (b) fed fantasies by people who believe
those fantasies, or (c) a combination of both.
But as you can see, this
was Satan's baby that he brought into the world the moment he was certain
Israel would finally become a nation again in fulfillment of prophecy, and he's
been embellishing it and working hard to establish it as a widely believed and
accepted narrative ever since June 1947.
And hey, you gotta admit
it makes for some entertaining movies.
Now that we are armed with
the Narrative, I want to review some of the reasons why I am convinced the
attack of Gog-Magog occurs before the launching of the Tribulation and after
the Rapture.
The
timing of Gog-Magog
As I have discussed previously, although
there is a veritable laundry list of views of the timing of the attack of
Gog-Magog, the two primary views held by most dispensational premillennial
believers are what I like to refer to as the BEFORE and AFTER views: BEFORE the
launching of the Tribulation and AFTER the launching of the Tribulation. And
there are excellent Bible teachers who subscribe to each of these two
interpretations. Some views are a bit more of the "fringe" variety,
like the idea that Gog-Magog was fulfilled two thousand years ago, or that the
whole thing is just so much allegory, etc.
Personally, I lean toward
the BEFORE view. It makes the most scriptural sense to me, all things
considered, and I see difficulties with the AFTER view that are not easily
remedied.
But first, let's quickly
review a couple of key points related to all this. First of
all, regardless of when Gog-Magog occurs, we have the man who
will become the Antichrist establishing a peace deal between Israel and her
Muslim enemies in the form of the treaty of Daniel 9:27, the implementation of
which launches the seven-year Tribulation.
Many would also agree that
contained in that treaty is permission for Israel to begin building their Third
Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. That temple must be complete by the
midpoint of the Tribulation, because it is at that point the Antichrist
desecrates it by placing a graven image in the Holy Place in the temple and
insists on being worshiped as God in the flesh.
In the wake of this event,
known as the abomination of desolation, the now satanically possessed and
controlled Antichrist goes after the Jews, and they flee Jerusalem for their
lives and are protected in the wilderness for the duration of the Great Tribulation,
or the last three and a half years of Daniel's 70th Week. At its climax, they
will implore the Lord to save them from annihilation, which He will by
physically returning to earth and slaying His enemies at the Second Coming.
As I have discussed before, I am convinced
that during the first half of the Tribulation one-third of the Jewish people
will come to believe Christ really is their true Messiah and will come to a
saving faith in the gospel. These are commonly referred to as the believing Jewish
remnant, and they will be the ones who reject the Antichrist and flee and will
be protected by God in the wilderness. The unbelieving two-thirds of the Jewish
people will fall for the Antichrist's deception because God will send a strong
delusion upon them to cause them to accept the (Gentile) Antichrist as their
Messiah, and they will all ultimately be slain.
But back to the timing of
Gog-Magog. One of the primary reasons I lean toward the BEFORE view is the fact
that it provides a clear, logical path to the treaty of Daniel 9:27 that will
give Israel permission to build their Third Temple on the Temple Mount, aka Haram
al-Sharif, the third holiest site in Islam.
Consider: Ezekiel makes it
clear exactly what God does to the forces gathered to wipe out His people
Israel—He destroys five-sixths of them (Ezek. 39:2 KJV) in a manner which
causes both the Jews and the world to understand it was the LORD, the God of Israel,
who did it (Ezek. 38:23; 39:21–23).
In other words, in the
aftermath of Gog-Magog...
The nation of Israel
will be delivered,
and her Muslim enemies will be decimated.
This fact makes it easy to
see that Israel's Muslim enemies will be reeling from a divine whuppin' that will put them in more of a mood to cooperate in regard to a peace deal with an empowered Israel—a nation
that is no longer going to be inclined to take no for an answer. Israel will
not merely request, but will demand
permission to build their temple.
And build it they
will—and her decimated Muslim enemies will be no longer be in
a position to stop them.
That's the point: Anyone
who knows anything about the current attitude of a fully empowered
Muslim world toward the idea of the Jews desecrating Haram al-Sharif in
such an outrageous manner knows that such capitulation on their part would take
nothing less than an act of God.
And what God does to the
Gog-Magog
crew in Ezekiel 38–39 sure fits the bill.
Thus, my primary objection
to the AFTER view is that it forces upon us a fully empowered Muslim world
inexplicably rolling over and softening their stance in
regard to the Jews building their Third Temple on Haram al-Sharif
for...I'm sorry, what? Political reasons? A bevy of benefits from
President Trump? High-sounding promises from some charismatic, sweet-talking
Antichrist-to-be? Anyone who knows how the Muslims feel about the Jews
desecrating Haram al-Sharif with their blasphemous temple knows the
answer to that one:
No. Way. José.
Like I said, anyone who is
familiar with the current attitude of Israel's Muslim enemies about a Jewish
Third Temple on Haram al-Sharif knows that is s-o-o not
happening...I don't care who says or does what. For heaven's sake, Israeli
leaders are careful to not even broach the subject of a Third Temple
with regional Muslim leaders for fear they will fly into a
apoplectic rage and launch a military attack on Israel.
The point is that I have
yet to hear a plausible explanation from anyone in the AFTER gang for such a
radical change of heart in Israel's Muslim enemies (Muslim enemies that are
fully armed and fully prepared to protect and defend the sanctity of Haram
al-Sharif, that is).
Yet this is a question
that demands
an answer if the attack of Gog-Magog
occurs after the Tribulation is launched.
And the AFTER gang doesn't
appear to have one.
Now, not only am I
convinced Gog-Magog will go down before the launching of the
Tribulation, but it also makes the best sense to me that it will occur after
the Rapture. I am inclined to see it following the Rapture by
a relatively brief period of time, and here are two of
the chief reasons why I say that:
1. Satan is currently
being restrained by the Restrainer, which is absolutely the indwelling presence
of the Holy Spirit in all born-again believers. Believers are the temple of the
Holy Spirit on earth (1 Cor. 6:19), and as such the body of Christ has a restraining
influence on Satan's activities. But after the Church is relocated to heaven at
the Rapture, that will no longer be the case. The Restrainer will be lifted (2
Thess. 2:7), and God will allow Satan to give it his best shot before Christ
returns to crush his sorry excuse of a kingdom.
Now, having said that,
understand that Satan's number one, overriding goal in the end times is not
merely to establish his kingdom:
It is to destroy Israel
and wipe out all
the Jews so he can keep that kingdom!
That's because it is the
Jewish remnant who calls on the Lord to save them at the climax of the
Tribulation, which triggers the Second Coming (Hos. 5:15), which brings Satan's
kingdom to an end. So, after the Rapture, wiping out Israel (the goal of
Gog-Magog) shoots to the top of Satan's to-do list.
2. According to a 2024
Gallup survey mentioned in an article in Wikipedia,
approximately 69 percent of Americans identify as Christian. Since this
includes the Roman Catholic Church along with legions of good people for whom
Christianity is basically a cultural identification, however, I think if one
were to consider roughly half of those to actually be
born-again believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ, it would still be a tad on
the generous side. So, forgive me if I just spitball it at 30 percent. Now,
imagine the effects of having 30 percent of the U.S. population suddenly
disappearing...people from every walk of life, from the top levels of
government, science, industry, and education on down.
We're talkin' YIKES!
It's not difficult to
see that the Rapture will greatly weaken America and plunge the country into
chaos—at least for a sufficiently substantial period of time to effectively
create a window of opportunity for Russia, Iran, Turkey, and friends to gather
in an attempt to destroy Israel once and for all, all while her strongest
supporter looks on helplessly. This also jives perfectly with Ezekiel 38:13,
where "Sheba, Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all its young
lions" (which absolutely includes the United States) do
nothing but look on helplessly and whimper when the attack is prepared to go
down.
OK, so we have Gog-Magog
occurring not too terribly long after the Rapture, and before the launching of
the Tribulation. But it is at this point where I finally saw the problem with
assuming that Satan's primary reasons for developing the Narrative included
being able to immediately explain the Rapture his way to lead people
away from the Bible's explanation.
What's so
illogical about that?
Satan may be evil and
rebellious toward God, but he's not stupid and he's not inclined to waste his
time doing stupid things. Please understand:
He designed and
cultivated the Narrative with specific goals in mind.
As I said, I originally
believed one of Satan's primary purposes of the Narrative was to provide the
world an alternative explanation for the Rapture. When two or three hundred
million people suddenly disappear from the face of the earth, a panic-stricken
world will be screaming for answers...
And I figured Satan
would have an answer for 'em that would make 'em forget all about all that silly Rapture nonsense, by
gosh.
General awareness of the
doctrine of the Rapture, especially in America, is sufficient that a good
number of people actually will grasp the
biblical truth of what happened, even if they never took it seriously and
snickered at people who believed it was biblical truth.
It's like I always
say...five minutes after the Rapture, there will be people who suddenly realize
three things:
1. What just happened.
2. Why it
didn't happen to them.
3. What they
need to do to fix it.
And a great revival will
be off and running. This is one reason why I tended to assume that one of the
primary purposes of the Narrative would be to immediately provide the world
with an alternative explanation of the Rapture in order to
lure people away from the biblical explanation. Satan obviously does not
want people being influenced by the truth of God's Word.
But the more I thought
about it, the more I began to realize something was amiss. It finally began to
occur to me that things just didn't add up.
Consider: Imagine that (a)
the Rapture were to occur, and then (b) Satan immediately went full force with
the Narrative to explain this mysterious disappearance of a couple hundred
million people his way to lure people away from the Bible's explanation.
In other words, Satan immediately
starts pushing his lies about how all those missing people have been evacuated
by a benevolent race of aliens who have arrived to help us evolve spiritually
so we can enter a wonderful new world after we help the earth get through the
time of coming changes, and how they will all rejoin us later when we enter the
four-dimensional paradise the earth will become, blah blah blah, yada yada yada. You know...the whole schmear.
Here's the problem:
In the scenario that I
just described, can you imagine a coalition of nations led by Russia and
including Iran, Turkey, and several North African nations gathering all their
forces together in order to carry out a devastating attack to annihilate the
nation of Israel—just as they have wanted to do for a long time...and
proceeding as if nothing had happened? And all while these highly
advanced, good-guy aliens with fantastic technology have apparently come to
evacuate millions of people and help the rest of us evolve spiritually so we
can survive a period of great disasters that is nearly upon us?
One word says it all:
REALLY?!
I'm sorry, but I simply cannot
imagine that. No way...no how. My point is that the Narrative
is going to have a tremendous impact on the world—more than we can
really imagine at this point. That's precisely how Satan has designed it. It
will shock the world, and shake it like it's never
been shaken. It will influence the world to view this supposed race of
benevolent aliens whose technology makes ours look
like tinker toys as our saviors. They will amaze us, and they will be
cast in a light that will make us inclined to obey them, follow
them, and worship them—certainly not blow them off and ignore them, and
proceed with our own little evil plans to kill those we don't like, as we Homo
sapiens are inclined to do under normal circumstances.
And just as the
Gog-Magog crew is going to do under these circumstances.
So, it is clear to me that
if the full brunt of the Narrative were forced on the world immediately after
the Rapture occurs for no other reason than to explain it away and distract the
world from the biblical explanation, it strikes me that an attack like
Gog-Magog wouldn't occur any time soon due to the effect the Narrative will
have on people all over the world.
Checkers, anyone? This is something I
have some seen good people do on occasion...and this
time I was guilty of it myself. Often when people study eschatology, they tend
to view people, nations, and events like checkers on a checkerboard...one piece jumps over another, one piece
captures another, etc. We need to remind ourselves that prophecy effects people, and people make up nations.
And people are not checkers. Unlike checkers on a checkerboard, people
have emotions...they have fears and uncertainties. And those fears and
uncertainties influence how they react to things—some people may react rationally and some may react irrationally. The point is
that when we discuss major end-time events, if we consider things as being so
many checkers on a checkerboard and fail to appreciate the emotional impact
these events can have on people, sooner or later we're almost certainly going
to miss something or get something wrong.
It strikes me that if
that were the case, an event like Gog-Magog wouldn't occur until much
later...maybe not until the Great Tribulation when the Antichrist is going
after the Jewish remnant or even as the nations begin
to stir in preparation for Armageddon.
That is, not until
things are totally out of control, aliens or no aliens.
Armageddon...NOT: Just thought I'd throw
this in. Here is one simple reason why the attack of Gog-Magog cannot be
conflated with Armageddon: As you know, Gog-Magog only involves a short list of
specific nations (Russia, Iran, Turkey, and several North African nations).
Armageddon brings together all the nations of the world to destroy
Israel (Rev. 16:13–14). Not the same.
If Satan brings the
Narrative into play full force right after the Rapture, it just doesn't make
good sense that Gog-Magog would follow the Rapture in a straightforward manner.
But I am convinced it does
follow the Rapture in a straightforward manner.
Not only that, but if
Satan breaks out the full force of the Narrative immediately after the Rapture,
a few years later it just won't have the same world-shaking shock value he is
planning for it to have. By the midpoint of the Tribulation, it just won't
quite have the same mesmerizing power—power sufficient to push the people of
the world into accepting his man the Antichrist as their alien-empowered,
miracle-working, God-in-the-flesh Superman/Messiah who is to be worshiped on
pain of death.
Bottom line:
Somebody needs to rethink some things.
Rethinking some things
It finally hit me that there
is little reason to think that Satan will fully unleash the Narrative right
after the Rapture just to lure people away from the biblical explanation. Much
of the heavy-duty alien stuff will come out and be put into play to a greater
extent as we get into the Tribulation. The reason I
say that is because it finally hit me that Satan will initially have no
pressing need to explain away Rapture his way. Why?
Because mankind will do
it for him!
Only a small percentage
of the world's population believes in the Rapture as taught in Scripture, and the vast majority of them wil be gone.
As I said, yes, there will be people who knew about the Rapture but who were not saved and so will not go up with
us, and many of them will literally fall to their knees and cry out to God
before you can say "left behind."
The point I'm getting at
is this: When the Rapture occurs, the world won't suddenly
start believing in that particular doctrine.
The world has always assumed that it's just the lunatic ramblings of
biblical tinfoil-hatters (assuming they've even heard of it at all, which many
haven't), and that won't suddenly, radically change overnight.
As a result, the world
will waste little time in
coming up with alternative explanations for the
Rapture without any direct input from Satan.
Satan will have little
need to club the world over the head with his UFO/alien poppycock... Arrgh! I mean the Narrative to explain
away the Rapture because the people of the world are going to do it themselves.
Believing that aliens must have had something to do with this
supernatural event is going to be a knee-jerk reaction for a fallen world that
already believes aliens exist and have visited us—and Satan will be able to get
to work preparing other aspects of his program, such as grooming his man the
Antichrist and preparing his path to world power in the lead-up to and
following the launching of the Tribulation.
Satan can let the
Rapture speculation
play out—he's got bigger fish to fry.
There is no doubt that
after the Rapture desperate speculation concerning alien involvement in this
strange event will fill the airwaves and it will be the hottest topic in news
history for both the left and the right. And the speculation will
continue unabated as the attack of Gog-Magog goes down, and the
Antichrist-to-be begins his rise to power as he forges a peace treaty between
Israel and her Muslim enemies, now significantly weakened after getting their
patooties royally kicked in Gog-Magog.
As we get into the
Tribulation, I believe Satan will begin revealing more about the Narrative, and will have people believing that a benevolent
alien race has visited us and wants to help us evolve spiritually to aid us in
getting through the coming earth changes, as I mentioned earlier. People will
be influenced to believe that "evolving spiritually" as the aliens
have instructed us is the only way to save the planet, and so anyone who
refuses to go along with the program (read: believers) will be a threat to the
earth and all of mankind...
And so
they simply must be eliminated!
I believe the martyred
believers showing up in heaven in Revelation 7 are a direct result of this
purging of people who refuse to go along with the Narrative and embrace Satan's
lies in order to save the planet:
9 After these things [i.e.
the ministry of the 144,000 Jewish evangelists] I looked, and behold, a great multitude
which no man could count, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples,
and languages, [i.e. Gentile Tribulation saints] standing before the
throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in
their hands. [They have been martyred...guess why.] 10 They
cried with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation be to our God, who sits on the
throne, and to the Lamb!" 11 All the angels
were standing around the throne, the elders, [...which,
incidentally, tells us in no uncertain terms that the 24 elders are not
some mysterious species of angels, nor are they believers who have been
martyred during the Tribulation—that's because they are the raptured Church,
home and dry before the Tribulation even begins] and the four living creatures; and they
fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God, 12 saying,
"Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be
to our God forever and ever! Amen."
(Revelation 7:9–12 / emphasis
& [comments] added)
At the midpoint of the Tribulation, Satan will stage a phony resurrection for his man that is intended to imitate what Christ did two thousand years ago at Calvary, and the Antichrist will be presented to the world as their true Messiah. And God Himself will seal the deal by sending a strong delusion upon those who have rejected the truth, and they will believe a lie (2 Thess. 2:11–12).
And I believe it is at this point when the Narrative will be fully revealed and thrust upon mankind, and I think during the Great Tribulation it will ultimately come down to unbelievers embracing it and believing the Antichrist really is their Messiah and being led to their destruction, and believers rejecting it and legions of them being martyred...or in the case of the believing Jewish remnant, being protected by God in the wilderness.
Live long
and prosper
So now I feel as if I have
a better grasp of how Satan will use (and not use) the Narrative
he's been cultivating for almost 80 years, and it will be to dupe mankind into
embracing his man the Antichrist as being God in the flesh and the true
Messiah, and who will be thrust upon them as a phony substitute for the real
Messiah who shed His blood on a cross at Calvary two thousand years ago to
redeem them and set them free from the curse of sin and death.
As I've described, I am
convinced there will be plenty of talk and speculation about aliens following
the Rapture and that will continue, but Satan is going wait until the midpoint
of the Tribulation to unleash the full force of the Narrative on a world filled
with people he wants to deceive into embracing his man the Antichrist as their
true Messiah—a man who is supposedly being fully supported, informed, and
empowered by a benevolent race of aliens who have come to help us evolve
spiritually and survive the coming time of earth changes, during which our
Earth Mother needs to cleanse herself of the dark, negative energy perpetuated
by the archaic myths of the past (i.e. the Bible) that people foolishly persist
in believing to their detriment.
Most people aren't aware
of this, but actor Leonard Nimoy, who played the role of Spock in the original Star
Trek television series and in several of the later Star Trek movies,
gave us a secret hint about the supposed connection between God and aliens that
very few picked up on. Nimoy reveals this in his 1975 autobiography I Am Not
Spock.
If you've ever watched the
original Star Trek series, you may have noticed how Spock would
typically make an unusual gesture as part of a formal greeting or a formal way
of saying goodbye to someone. Spock (who was from the planet Vulcan) would make
what became known as the "Vulcan salute" by raising his right hand
and separating his thumb from his index and middle fingers, and separating
those two fingers from his ring finger and pinkie (I can do this perfectly and
effortlessly with my left hand, but struggle a wee bit with my right).
This gesture looks like a "W" when done correctly, and as Spock made
the gesture he would deliver his signature line.
But no one was aware of
any particular significance of the hand gesture. A few years after the original
TV series ended, Nimoy (who was Jewish) revealed in his book that he intended
for the gesture to represent the Hebrew letter ש (shin). In Hebrew, the letter ש (which represents the sh sound) is found in both the names Yeshuah
(Jesus) and HaShem ("The Name," or
God the Father), and for Jewish people ש became a one-letter abbreviation of the name of God. So every time this alien from Vulcan named Spock uttered
those words, he was making a gesture that represented the name of God.
Hmmm...
So...call me crazy, but I
wouldn't be too shocked if the Antichrist emerged from the temple after
desecrating it at the abomination of desolation and then turned to the crowd,
made Spock's Vulcan salute, and shouted:
"Live long and
prosper!"
But even if he does, relax. Just like the original Star
Trek TV series...
The Antichrist's kingdom will be cancelled after
three seasons.
