Taste His Grace, Grow in Faith, and Proclaim His Praise

Dear Pilgrim-Priest of God,

Are you going through a time of spiritual dryness? Do you hunger and thirst on this perilous journey through the wilderness? Do you still crave the imperishable milk of the gospel of grace, and have you recently tasted and seen---really experienced---the goodness and kindness of the LORD?

If you're desperate about discerning God's will during these last days or if you need a refresher on His purpose for this present age, then this third installment of the 1 Peter series is for you. In the following video and study notes, we will look at 1 Pet. 2:1–10, a passage that further develops our identity, security, and purpose as God's chosen and precious people.

Biblical metaphors and Old Testament descriptors abound in this week's segment: As God's elect pilgrim people who have temporarily displaced Israel as the vehicle of divine revelation, we are compared to newborn babies who desire milk in order to grow; we are precious living stones being built up into spiritual house; we are a holy priesthood offering spiritual sacrifices to God through Jesus, our Great High Priest and Chief Cornerstone; we are a chosen generation, holy nation, and a possessed (in the best possible sense of the word) people, who were formerly not-a-people!

Wow! Praise Him today for this marvelous work of redemption that He is accomplishing through you, dear brother or sister!

  1. "You will generally notice that when the believer gets near to God, tastes the unseen joys and eats the bread that was made in heaven, all the feasts of earth, all its amusements, and all its glories seem very flat, stale, and unprofitable."

  2. Thanks for all you do. You have the best info and teachings. Your "left Behind" letter is the best I have seen. I would recommend Christians put a copy on their refrigerator. It's far better to receive a crown from Jesus than Olympic medals. Far better to hear Jesus say "well done good and faithful servant" than be on television and have fame. Israel just evacuated Ukrainian Jews. This is predicted in Ezekiel 36:24, "For I will take you from among the heathen and gather you out of all countries and will bring you into your land." However New York City has the most Jews outside of Israel. That is why we expect New York City to have a disaster to cause the Jews there to return to Israel. The late David Wilkerson said New York would have a 1000 fires in the future. According to Steven Ben-Nun at www.israelinewslive.org the Jewish orthodox community prepares for a false flag in New York City. Top Jewish leaders just moved out of New York City because they believe it could receive a nuclear strike or dirty bombs. The fact that Hasidim and other leaders are leaving the city and are now evacuating should be a huge warning sign to everyone else. On 9/11 over 4000 Israeli Jews didn't go to work. Israeli intelligence is considered the best. Ben-Nun believes after a disaster in New York Biden will invite China into the country to help us but they may have on U.N. uniforms. U.N. airplanes have been seen in Canada. Ben-Nun said with the lockdown and marshal law in Canada will allow China to move their military into America without being reported. Some believe the sixth seal(Rev.6:12) with the great earthquake is the rapture because all resurrections in the Bible include or cause earthquakes. Some believe North America is burned when the Bible says one-third of the earth burns in Rev.8 North America plus a few Islands equals one-third. Some believe the eclipse that went across America from coast to coast on August 21, 2017 was a bad sign and warning of coming judgment for America. Another total solar eclipse goes across America almost seven years later in the opposite direction making an X across America in April 2024. It's more important than ever to spread the gospel in America as America could be living on borrowed time.

    1. America is already in a vegetative state, as evidenced by our so-called President, and the hospital supervisor has already ordered the termination of life support. Let's not pretend that we are still tied to that bodily form. We are rising from it, and above it, to meet our Lord in the air.

      The other day, a gentleman stated that he watches the weather forecast for signs of the Rapture, because we can't meet Jesus in the clouds if it's not cloudy. That made me laugh.

      So stop me if you've heard this one . . . Who was the first person to manage to break all 10 of the Lord's Commandments? . . . . . . It was Moses, when he came down, saw the idol worship, and smashed the tablets! hahaha

    3. Jeremy, so funny about the weather report, we have to keep some humor after all we are not destined for the wrath of God! Also funny about Moses breaking the Ten Commandments. That was probably a sign that ALL would eventually break these sacred Commandments. My birthday was yesterday, 2/22/2022, I was hoping for the rapture on my birthday, but I know it can't be long now.
      Thanks to everyone here getting us informed and ready for our Savior's return.

    4. Rhonda, I can identify--my birthday was on the R12 sign in 2017, so hoping it would be a going home day. But, here we still are, closer yet. I was just reading Habakkuk again, and it speaks so appropriately to our day as well. I love the closing verses of Chapter 3. My life verses actually. No matter what we see or don't see, God is at work and

      "Though the fig tree does not blossom

      And there is no fruit on the vines,

      Though the yield of the olive fails

      And the fields produce no food,

      Though the flock is cut off from the fold

      And there are no cattle in the stalls,
      Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD;

      I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation!

      19The Lord GOD is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army];

      He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet

      And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my [e]high places [of challenge and responsibility]. (The Amplified Bible, 3:17-19)

      Maranatha, blessings! judi
