BREAKING: Pope Francis Passes; Klaus Schwab Resigns

Easter Monday — Jorge Mario Bergoglio (a.k.a. Pope Francis) has passed away at the age of 88. His papacy was defined by a marked leftward shift in the Roman Catholic Church, the sidelining of traditional voices, and a concerning flirtation with universalism. A purported “Prophecy of the Popes”, which has made headlines worldwide for a number of years, suggests that Francis’ successor could be the last pope of the Roman Catholic Church — a supposed Petrus Romanus (“Peter the Roman”) who will steward the Church during a time of great tribulation, leading up to the physical destruction of the city of Rome. While the prophecy is intriguing, it should be received and interpreted with a massive grain of salt, given its non-biblical nature and possible pseudepigraphal composition (probably written by the Benedictine monk Arnold Wion, who attributed the prophecy to Saint Malachy).

Reports conflict regarding whether or not Francis was successful in building a theologically-liberal majority in the College of Cardinals, with charts showing either slight liberal or slight conservative control. These cardinals will soon vote for a new pope in secret.

It should be carefully noted that the Roman Catholic Church has unequivocally attempted to usurp Christ’s unique and special authority for the Pope himself:

The Roman Pontiff … as Vicar of Christ … has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole Church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered.

— Catechism of the Catholic Church, §882

It should be further noted that with the Sixth Session of the Council of Trent (1547), the Roman Catholic Church has denied the Gospel of Salvation, bringing the organization into abject apostasy. While it is my belief that there may be many individual Catholics with a genuine saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the institution itself, with its numerous unbiblical dogmas, scriptural allegorizations, pretentious rituals, and false soteriology, is no longer representative of the Church that Christ built.

CANON IX. If any one saith, that by faith alone the impious is justified; in such wise as to mean, that nothing else is required to co-operate in order to the obtaining the grace of Justification, and that it is not in any way necessary, that he be prepared and disposed by the movement of his own will; let him be anathema [CURSED].

CANON XI. If any one saith, that men are justified, either by the sole imputation of the justice of Christ, or by the sole remission of sins, to the exclusion of the grace and the charity which is poured forth in their hearts by the Holy Ghost, and is inherent in them; or even that the grace, whereby we are justified, is only the favour of God; let him be anathema [CURSED].

CANON XII. If any one saith, that justifying faith is nothing else but confidence in the divine mercy which remits sins for Christ’s sake; or, that this confidence alone is that whereby we are justified; let him be anathema [CURSED].

CANON XIV. If any one saith, that man is truly absolved from his sins and justified, because that he assuredly believed himself absolved and justified; or, that no one is truly justified but he who believes himself justified; and that, by this faith alone, absolution and justification are effected; let him be anathema [CURSED].

CANON XVIII. If any one saith, that the commandments of God are, even for one that is justified and constituted in grace, impossible to keep; let him be anathema [CURSED].

CANON XIX. If any one saith, that nothing besides faith is commanded in the Gospel; that other things are indifferent, neither commanded nor prohibited, but free; or, that the ten commandments nowise appertain to Christians; let him be anathema [CURSED].

CANON XX. If any one saith, that the man who is justified and how perfect soever, is not bound to observe the commandments of God and of the Church, but only to believe; as if indeed the Gospel were a bare and absolute promise of eternal life, without the condition of observing the commandments ; let him be anathema [CURSED].

CANON XXIV. If any one saith, that the justice received is not preserved and also increased before God through good works; but that the said works are merely the fruits and signs of Justification obtained, but not a cause of the increase thereof; let him be anathema [CURSED].

CANON XXX. If any one saith, that, after the grace of Justification has been received, to every penitent sinner the guilt is remitted, and the debt of eternal punishment is blotted out in such wise, that there remains not any debt of temporal punishment to be discharged either in this world, or in the next in Purgatory, before the entrance to the kingdom of heaven can be opened (to him); let him be anathema [CURSED].

To the contrary, Scripture teaches us with perfect clarity that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone:

But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.

Can we boast, then, that we have done anything to be accepted by God? No, because our acquittal is not based on obeying the law. It is based on faith. So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law.
(Rm. 3:21–28, NLT)

Let us entrust the soul of Jorge Bergoglio to the mercy of God, hoping that he placed his faith firmly in Christ Jesus at the end. And let us, likewise, fervently pray that God will use the coming transition in the Roman Catholic Church to bring about an opening for the Gospel, as well as revival, unity, and truth in the worldwide and true Church, and greater preparation for what prophecy foretells is soon to come.

It was also reported this morning that Klaus Schwab, the head of the World Economic Forum, is stepping down from his role in his 88th year of life. He was the world’s foremost proponent of rapid globalization, and he heavily pushed Agenda 2030 and numerous top-down control mechanisms for the global population, including, most famously, “eat[ing] ze bugs.” At the ripe old age of 87, his views of the world, society, and religion will soon be tested by God Almighty when He stands before Him face to face.

So the leader of the largest Christian denomination in the world has just passed away, on Easter Monday, at the age of 88. And next month, God’s chosen nation of Israel turns 77. All of this as the final four scenario is still in play, possible signs are unfolding all around us, and until Rosh Hashanah of this year, we are between 7 and 8 years after the Revelation 12 Sign.

My lover said to me, “Rise up, my darling! Come away with me, my fair one!

Look, the winter is past, and the rains are over and gone.

The flowers are springing up, the season of singing birds has come, and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air.

The fig trees are forming young fruit, and the fragrant grapevines are blossoming.

Rise up, my darling! Come away with me, my fair one.

  2. This pope was truly an EVIL, APOSTATE, BLASPHEMING, HERETIC! He said JESUS was a failure on the cross......endorsed the HOMO lifestyle....also kissed up to Muslims saying we ALL follow the SAME god. He also focused on creation worship (Eco- save the planet) rather than the Creator & saving souls. WHY would any one say any thing to support this wicked evil man?

Agreed, I am sure he will be thrown alive into the lake of fire along with all the others at the Great White Thrown Judgement Seat Of Christ.

  3. Thank you Gary very much! Great stuff! My question. Where is the begin of Vatican? Is the end of it? How many parts are there in the Mystery Babylon? Pope? Schwab? Rev 17-18? It's interesting what is you point here! Would you like to show some Scriptures to these points?

    1. Greetings Alla! I haven't done a written deep dive on the topic of Mystery Babylon, but Jeff and I did discuss it at length in two recent videos if you are interested:

  4. I am just wondering if the next pope could be the same person as the false prophet who is the right hand man of the Beast, during the tribulation. If this false prophet should be the pope, then who would make all the faithfull Catholics (who remain after the rapture) put their trust in the Anti-Christ. Because the false prophet is a spiritual leader and so is the pope. Could they be the same person? I just wondering what Gary and others think about this?

  5. There is a Cardinal of Jerusalem, called Pierbattista Pizzaballa, who is one of the candidates to become the new pope. Yesterday's France24 correspondent Noga Tarnopolsky, from Jerusalem, said that this cardinal might become the new pope and that his intention is to focus the attention of the Vatican on Jerusalem. It remain to be seen but it could fit in with Bible prophesy that Jerusalem will become a heavy stone which all nations attempting to lift, will be hurt... (Zechariah 12:3).

    1. Intriguing. He's apparently fluent in Hebrew and English.

    2. That's in important fact if the new pope would really get infuence in the world. As for the former popes, as far as I remember the last three popes, they couldn't speak English fuently. For them to be infuencial wordwide, they have to be fluent in English. That would make a good candidate for the false prophet, a.k.a. "the beast out of the earth" see Rev.13:11-18. It is speculation but that could match cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa who speaks English and Hebrew and wants to represent Jerusalem. The Beast out of the Earth was explained to me as possible coming out of Israel (earth prophetically).

    3. The earth/Israel connection is something I have suspected as well.

    4. @Abel Pierbattista Pizzaballa as the next possible pope? Interesting. Gary said per the Prophecy of the Popes that Peter the Roman would be the final pope: *Pier*battista > Pierre > French for Peter. And apparently Pierbattista Pizzaballa is Italian?

      Delete
    5. @Adam, that's also what I thought. His name may translate to Peter and he's orginally from Italy. Might fulfull that odd prophesy of "Peter the Roman"

    6. Pizzaballa is also relatively young, at 60 years old. We know the false prophet survives to the end of the Tribulation. Anyone who survives the Tribulation is going to have to be relatively young and in good health.

  6. Thank you for confirming that, pastor Rich. Also appreciation for Gary his article, always giving me hope that the coming of Christ is very near.

  7. Well this is real interesting...

    Cardinal Pietro Parolin (Italy)
What does the name Pietro equate to in English? “Stone” or “rock”
The name Pietro is of Italian origin and translates to “stone” or “rock” in English.
It is an Italian variant of the name Peter, which has its roots in the Greek word “petros”.
Italy was the seat of Rome.

    Peter the Roman.

    1. Pizzaballa's first name is Pierbattista, derived from the words for "stone" and "baptist".

    2. Pierbattista is (in/from) Jerusalem though.
      and
      Peter Erdo is from Hungary

My interest in Parolin for the St Malachy prophecies is that he is from Italy (Seat of Rome) and is already a high position cardinal.

      :)

      Time will tell...

  8. The surname Parolin is of Italian origin and is derived from the personal name Parolo, which is a diminutive form of the name Paro.

The name Paro itself is a variant of the name Pietro, which is the Italian form of the name Peter.

The name Parolin is also associated with the meaning Skilled in communication or conveying messages.

    1. I’ve been trying very hard to not say what I’ve been thinking, but I can’t seem to let it go. The reveal about the two-in-one Peter made me think about a nursery rhyme. Peter, Peter, pumpkin eater; had a wife and couldn’t keep her; put her in a pumpkin shell; and there he kept her very well. That seems very silly, which it is, of course. But if the pope is supposedly the ‘keeper’ of the ‘woman,’ might the next one hold her more tightly? So many religions are vying to be ‘the one’ in these times.

      Delete
    2. Wow. You know that Rhyme came to mind for me also... I didn't say anything either because I didn't really have a meaningful reference to bring it up, but since you did... :D

  9. As I replied to Corey at his latest article at ENDTIME DARKNESS DESCENDING, the possibility of there being 2 Peters (Schwab’s replacement is a man named “Peter” Brabeck-Letmathe and Pope Francis's replacement might be Cardinal Pietro Parolin, "Peter the Roman") as the Dispensation of Grace is drawing to a close makes it prophetically interesting.

It also reminds me of 2 Peter:

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. - 2 Peter 3:3-7 KJV

To me Springtime does seem a little soon for the Rapture, but things could be gearing up fast now if I'm understanding what the Spirit of the Lord is revealing to the Church. With the Trump administration wheeling and dealing the covenant land of Israel as though it was a business deal, America is due for some consequences:

ASTEROID AND EAST COAST TSUNAMI THIS SPRING?

  13. Luke 17:26-30

"And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all."

Maybe Jesus wasn't only talking about the widespread depravity and immorality that brought about these judgments. And maybe He wasn't only talking about the imminency of the destruction. Maybe He was also talking about a very physical reminder. The Durupinar site in Turkey is starting to reveal even more supporting evidence, through radar scans and more, that it IS Noah's Ark. The excavations are starting . . . and it's back in our day. Real and tangible.

So . . . does 99942 Apophis give us a clear and present reminder of Lot's day? Will a whole LOT of Jews be "going out" of Jerusalem (the AntiChrist-occupied temple) on the day of the asteroid, and at the midpoint?

Raining "fire and brimstone" from heaven, and "destroy[ing] them all," sounds like a pretty familiar judgment, not just matching exactly with the Trumpet Judgments, but perhaps also falling squarely onto the USA, which is the nation most responsible for commercializing and spreading sin, spiritual corruption, and rebellion worldwide. A whole 'nother picture of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Real days of Noah in the news, followed by real asteroid threats . . . all over again?

  15. Most of you have probably read what I wrote in the comments section of the last article regarding the asteroid Apophis and Tom Horn's Wormwood Prophecy.

But let me shift gears in order to stay more on point regarding the Pope. Seven years ago, after writing Petrus Romanus, Tom Horn had this to say on the 700 Club TV show:

"I believe that Pope Francis was NOT canonically elected. I believe some hanky-panky went on in the conclave. In fact, I think that even has something to do with why he picked Francis of Assisi as his namesake . . . his real name's Bergoglio, as you know . . . umm, because Francis of Assisi prophesied about the "Final Pope."

"Now that means that he's a placeholder for reasons that we can't quite figure out . . . and the guy that comes up to take his place is actually going to be the real Pope #112, by election, Petrus Romanus."

At the time, the Pope's personal secretary admitted that he, as well as Popes Benedict and Francis, all met and faced head-on the possibility of a Prophecy of the Popes fulfillment.

Interesting stuff for an interesting year.

  16. All credit to Aaron at the Godaminute? Youtube channel on this one . . .

In just weeks, the modern nation of Israel will turn 77. No calendar disagreements or anything. They WILL turn 77.

Jacob turned 77, according to some, when he married Leah and Rachel. Then he started Jacob's Trouble . . . the final 7 years of work to earn his originally desired bride.

Leah is the Church, and Rachel represents the Jews that Christ desired. The Tribulation starts at 77.

The "simple" gematria of Christ (the Saving Messiah) is 77.

The ancient Hebrew symbol associated with 7 is a sword. So, 77 is really two swords. And swords are good for one thing, mostly . . . "separating."

Jesus said that He came to bring the sword, and to separate families and persons from each other. The wheat from the chaff. The believer from the non-believer. The sheep from the goats. And at His Second Coming there is a sword out of His mouth.

Is it crazy to think that He makes his Rapture visit in the year of Jacob's (Israel's) 77th year?

There is so much more to this, but I don't want to write too much. Thank you, brother Aaron!
