PROPHETIC TURNING POINT: Passover Sacrifice Carried Out At Foot Of Temple Mount

There is breaking news out of Jerusalem that descendants of Moses' brother Aaron, called Kohanim, have just conducted a Passover sacrifice at the foot of the Temple Mount, just yards from where the Jewish Temple once stood. The sacrifice is a groundbreaking moment in modern Israeli history and likely the first time since 68 AD that a Passover sacrifice was conducted in such close proximity to the Temple Mount.

Religious Jews have been increasingly eager to build the Third Temple and restart sacrifices, but have been prevented from performing sacrifices in the area in years past by Israeli police and Palestinians.  In 2015 a sacrifice was conducted in West Jerusalem, then in 2016 an even closer sacrifice was carried out on the Mount of Olives.  Last year a sacrifice was conducted closer still, just 400 meters from the Temple Mount, but today's Passover slaughter of a lamb was just one step short of actually occurring where the Temple itself once stood.

Major Israeli religious leaders were in attendance, including MK Yehuda Glick who has tirelessly worked to promote the building of the Third Temple.  Of nearly equal historical significance is the fact that Israeli police did nothing to prevent the ritual.  Jews are closer than ever to repossessing the Temple grounds.

At the same time, Palestinians are planning a mass march on Israel in the lead up to Israel's 70th anniversary and the U.S. embassy handover from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.  Some 100,000 Gazans will attempt to storm the Israeli border.

Of even more significance, the Knesset is closing in on the first of three votes to pass the Jewish State bill, which if passed will no doubt make 2018 as prophetically significant as 1948 and 1967.  We all need to watch this very, very closely because the next six to eight weeks may be the most important period of time many of us have witnessed in our lifetimes.

Across the border, in Syria, Russian generals continue to warn that a major U.S. fleet buildup in the Western Mediterranean is a prelude to a massive attack on Assad's government in Damascus.

The age of the Gentiles is coming to an end and the Time of Jacob's Trouble is close at hand when God will finally bring Israel to repentance and national recognition that Yeshua is LORD.

    1. That's a good question. I think this ties closely with many Scriptures:

Isaiah 66:1-6 - God unhappy with Jewish plans to rebuild the Temple because they don't realize they need Yeshua. This leads directly into vv. 7-9 and the rapture of the Church.

Daniel 9:27 - there must be a Temple and ongoing sacrifices by the middle of the Trib at the latest. The fact that we see sacrifices so close already tells us we are close the setup of this prophecy.

Revelation 11:1-2 - the Temple will be built without the Court of the Gentiles.

    2. Thank you Gary, these are very good Scriptures, making thoughts. In Rev 11 there is temple of God, and altar, and they that worship, and court without. Then all these elements are probably there? My thought – will the Lord probably bring His People to Jesus step by step? And John represents the Church, then the Lord shows to the Church what the Jews don't understand yet? And about the Temple – the Lord will not accept sacrifices without believe in Christ, but what says Mal 3:1? And also about measure – this shows probably that Israel motivates to be ashamed and to repent before they accept Jesus? For example Ezek 43:10. Just some thoughts! Blessings to you!

    1. Yes, that is exactly right from a biblical perspective. They were commemorating Passover, but not following all the requirements. It was more a trial run for when they can actually perform the sacrifices on the Temple Mount when the Temple is rebuilt.

  12. Caught a few interesting details form the post about this over at Rapture Ready news: "The SEVENTH annual reenactment of the Pesach (Passover) sacrifice took place on Monday" and " “We can see the Third Temple rising on the horizon,” Shimshon Elboim, one of the organizers of the event, told Breaking Israel News." and "Approximately 1,500 people, the largest crowd ever, gathered to watch some 20 Kohanim (Jewish men descending from Aaron the Priest) dressed in authentic priestly garments performing the full Passover ceremony as it was in Temple times."

Some (20) Kohanim presiding: Interesting Duality to this number, how appropriate here:

The signification of twenty: As all the numbers that are mentioned in the Word signify actual things, and states (AC 2252), so also does twenty; and what it signifies can be seen from its derivation, namely, from twice ten. Ten in the Word, as also tenths, signify remains, by which is meant everything good and true that the Lord insinuates into man from infancy even to the end of his life, and which are treated of in the following verse. Twice ten, or double tenths, that is, twenty, signify the same, but in a higher degree, namely, good. - and -

That twenty signifies also what is not holy, is because twenty denotes remains, as before said. The holy in those who have no remains of good and truth in their interior man, but instead of them evil and falsity, is not holy, but is either filthy or profane, according to the kind of evil and falsity. That twenty denotes also what is not holy, is evident in Zechariah:--

I saw and behold a flying roll. And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll the length thereof is twenty ells, and the breadth thereof ten ells. Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth (Zech. 5:1-3).

    In Haggai:--

When one came to the wine-press to draw out fifty out of the wine-press, there were twenty. I smote you with blasting, and with mildew, all the work of your hands (Haggai 2:16, 17).

    [3] In Ezekiel:--

Thy food which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time even in time shalt thou eat it. And thou shalt eat it as a barley cake, and thou shalt make it in their eyes with dung that cometh out of man. For thus, Jehovah said, shall the sons of Israel eat their bread unclean among the nations (Ezek. 4:10, 12, 13).

In these passages twenty denotes that which is unholy, unclean, and profane.

Bibi with his indictment, Abbas with his sickness, and Trump moving further away from his 'godly' leadership position (gay ambassador appointment to Germany, funding planned parenthood for the sake of keeping military spending etc). Cant help but wondering if God is going to remove Trump soon to allow the AC to bring the peace plan, and unhindered at that if the Palestinian and Israeli leadership end up in disarray.

    4. From Watchfortheday.org: Isaac Newton wondered about those 7 weeks. This has been explained here at this site before, but this timeline is without parallel and needs to be stressed. It is straight from the Bible, it has set a precedent and it is clear as day. What is phenomenal is that since Jerusalem was destroyed, there have been two decrees to rebuild it and one matches those 7 weeks. The first decree came from Suleiman the Magnificent in AD 1535 where the walls we see today are still intact. As a Muslim, Suleiman had the Eastern Gate sealed so the Messiah could not enter (good luck). The top right photo on this page is that gate. It is then no accident that 434 years later Israel’s Knesset issued a decree to rebuild Jerusalem on the Eve of Passover on April 1, 1969 to rebuild war torn Jerusalem. 434 years is equal to 62 x 7 and hence 62 weeks. Thus the 7 weeks come next and that is 49 years. Forty-nine years from 1969 comes to 2018. Therefore, according to Daniel, Messiah the Prince will then come. He is coming again!

    7. Miguel P., Primary Source data is tough, as you know, but I found an article with a couple period docs nested within it, one being a page from a St. Petersburg Times article covering the work being done in 1969 as a result of this decree. See http://biblocality.com/forums/showthread.php?4801-1967-or-1969-marks-the-decree-to-rebuild . One of the docs there is a profile doc for "The Company for the Reconstruction and Development of the Jewish Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem Ltd." which is the only Israeli Gov't-owned firm and which was established to do the work. Their website, in Company Profile, affirms "The Company was established in the year 1969 following the liberation of Jerusalem, and it serves as an arm of the government for executing governmental policy in the Old City of Jerusalem." but does not give the specific date of their formation although findings elsewhere were pointing to January. So, this entity was already in existence by 4/1/69 and that appears to be the date which this entity was assigned the work, by edict, although archeological pre-work delayed actual 'work' commencing for about 30 days, as reported on numerous sites covering this period. Maranatha!

    8. Thank you for that Jimboni. I suspected the reason that it was hard to locate is that such things are treated as insignificant in mainstream media and it occurred at a time before the internets :-).

Sidenote. It's a little quiet on these sites the last couple days. I suspect it is due to our various trials. But I also suspect it is a quiet before a storm. Whether the next three days will result in the rapture or not, I am not 100% certain, but I am 100% certain that they are going to be a turning point. I am so grateful for His suffering and death on the cross for me. And I know He rose again, because He lives in me. Keep praying folks. Maranatha!

  18. There's been much discussion and debate about which month is the first of the Jewish New Year because of Exodus 12:2. Is it Nisan (Spring) or Tishri (Fall)? There are plenty of scripture verses that support both, but something just dawned on me. The Jewish civil and religious calendars are off by six months. Is it possible that in any one year it could line up to be the 1st of the year on both? Is it possible that one calendar applies to the Church and the other to the Jews?

I guess we'll know later today or tomorrow for this year but what about a future year?

  20. This morning the Senior Pastor, church elders, members and I gathered for a prayer walk under the stars. The full moon in Virgo, Jupiter in Libra (5th planet on the altar) and the Mars/Saturn (4th and 6th planets) conjunction in Sagittarius were all so striking. All four leaped from the backdrop of the darkness of the deep! It was a crisp, clear and cool morning and breath-taking. The stars were witness to our prayers as we petitioned the LORD for His blessing and favour for the kickoff of the newly replanted church. Recounting the steps the women took to visit the tomb that dark morning so many years ago. What a powerful morning and start to the day.

It was an awesome Resurrection celebration!

Forgiveness was bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. O come to the altar The Father's arms are open wide. Forgiveness was bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Oh what a Savior! Isn't He wonderful? Sing alleluia, Christ is risen! Bow down before Him, for He is Lord of all. Sing alleluia, Christ is risen!

    2. Annabel, I had strongly suspected that instead of a rapture around April Fool's day we would see a turning point, another major moment in the news. I am certain that what you mentioned here is that. Media outlets reported two things regarding MBS; his acknowledgement of Israel having its own state and that he is worse than Hitler. That is big! For those not aware, just google "bin Salman news".

      Delete
    3. Dear Miguel, I thought the Hitler quote was about the Iranian Regime? Funny to consider always: Hitlers "Mein Kampf" is and has ALWAYS been a best selling book among Muslim nations (so in Saudi Arabia as well of course!). They adore him altogether in fact as an enemy of Israel. Historically, there's even more to Hitler than commonly published or taught in school. I had to re- and unlearn a lot of it recently too. Spiritually, he was certainly used by God as one of the "huntsmen" of Jeremiah 16:16 to get the founding of the state of Israel started. He was from the ancient Assyrians "rod for Israel" as well, like the precedessors of Germans and Austrians (which he was). Part of those - the fair haired and white "Aryans"! - scattered after the fall of the Assyrians empire and migrated into Northern Europe together with some of the lost tribes of Israel (Scythians and Cimmerians). Long time ago but God knows all history... Blessings, brother! :)
