BREAKING: Knesset Votes to Divide Israel

In a shocking and largely unexpected turn of events, the Israeli Knesset has voted down a key bill that would have renewed Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. In effect, if a subsequent emergency session is not called and three readings of the bill not passed before the end of June, in light of today's vote, Israel will have effectively divided itself, removing its own legal recognition of Israelis living in what the world calls the West Bank.

Ever since Israel's victory in the Six-Day War and its de facto conquest of Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria, a bill renewing the law has been passed every five years without fail. Today was the 11th vote to renew the law in those 55 years. But how did this happen? As it turns out, MKs who would have otherwise supported the bill voted against it to destabilize Naftali Bennett's fragile coalition. Others abstained or failed to show up for the vote.

And this vote occurred on the eve of the anniversary of the capture of Jerusalem (June 7, 1967), one day after Pentecost by most reckonings. Today's vote is seen by many as a fatal blow to Bennett's government.

Perhaps the third gate is indeed about to fall. And as that domino falls, we're also witnessing the dominoes of Ukraine, Taiwan, and soon Iran, all while Evergrande has finally defaulted on some $300 billion in debt, inflation and food shortages are increasing, and the world's governments are losing control.

It's God's restraining force alone that is keeping this ship from immediately sinking, but time is almost up.

IN OTHER NEWS...

Last week a bronze statue called the Lion of Judah was dedicated in Jerusalem.

The sculpture was completed in 2017, installed in 2020, and dedicated last week.

Might this parallel the three big years we've witnessed?

2017: Trump-Pence (Trumpets) was inaugurated setting the stage for major changes in the Middle East, the new peace process began on the day of the Great American Solar Eclipse, and the Revelation 12 Sign transpired.

2020: The Deal of the Century was unveiled, the COVID pandemic began, the morning star sign of Venus and Pleiades occurred, and the Abraham Accords were signed on the White House lawn by “four craftsmen”.

2022: War in Europe, impending wars in the Middle East and southeast Asia, global inflation and food supply crisis, stonecutting for the Third Temple begins, Israel votes to divide itself, Roe overturned in prophetic hat tip to Revelation 12:5, and... rapture?

Below is a video of the installation of the Lion of Judah statue from 2020. You can watch last week's dedication ceremony here, which was attended by Israel's top ambassador, Jerusalem's deputy mayor, and both Christian and Jewish religious leaders.

Also, in a bit of Balaamic prophecy à la Caiaphas in John 11:49–51, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council and former president of Russia, made this startling statement four days ago in regard to the nearness of World War III and nuclear conflict:

. . .one can believe that the horsemen of the Apocalypse are already on their way and all hope is in Almighty God. . .

Regardless of his intent or state of salvation, he is exactly right. We are close to that very thing—the unsealing of the first four seals: the antichrist, global war, economic collapse and global famine, and death and pestilence killing one-fourth of the global population. And those four judgments are followed by 17 more.

I don't know about you, but I'm not planning on sticking around for these. I have a ticket out of here.

ARE YOU READY FOR WHAT'S COMING?  Faith in Jesus and what He accomplished on your behalf is the only thing that will save you from what's coming.  Are you still bearing your sins, or have you accepted that He died for your sins and rose again?  Today is the day of salvation.  You're not promised tomorrow.  Get on the Ark, because the flood is coming.

 A dmit that you're a sinner.

B elieve that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again.

C all on the Lord Jesus Christ to save you.

  1. "Today was the 11th vote to renew the law in those 55 years."

There were a lot of prophetic number elevens associate with the recent "bear rapture sign" in Alaska, including the recent eclipse last month.

    - The attack occurred at Alaska’s Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, which is the headquarters for the United States Alaskan Command, 11th Air Force, U.S. Army Alaska, and the Alaskan North American Aerospace Defense Command Region. In scripture, the number 11 symbolizes disorder, chaos and judgment.

    - in Genesis 11, men rebelled against God and built the tower of Babel. He judged them by confusing their language, resulting in chaos. Jehoiakim, one of the last kings over Judah, ruled for eleven years (609 to 598 B.C.). His successor, King Jehoiachin, ruled for only three months before the Babylonians took control of Jerusalem – an ominous sign for America considering that the U.S.A. is Providentially patterned after ancient Israel.

    - Lunar eclipse that occurred on May 14-15 (which was a super blood moon on the anniversary date of Israel’s reestablishment as a nation in 1948) reached its maximum point of eclipse at 11:11 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) in the United States – an ominous warning of approaching judgment resulting in chaos and disorder- thus the rapture. Also interesting is the fact that on this anniversary date of Israel’s reestablishment (a fulfillment of end times prophecy of the Matthew 24 fig tree), it just so happens to be the 74th anniversary since being reestablished. If one adds up the number 7 and the number 4, you get the number 11 – again, the number of chaos and disorder resulting in judgment. Further still, the year 2022 is the beginning of the 11th Shemetah cycle of Israel since becoming a nation in 1948. This cycle will begin in the fall months – indicating the possible start of the judgment of the Tribulation Period – which means a pre-tribulation occurrence of the rapture event beforehand.

    - The 55 years seems to be significant in that it has been coming upon 5 years later this year (number of grace) since the Revelation 12 sign occurred.

    Time is almost up.

    2. Indeed. I remember reading this article awhile back. Just read it again. I've been saying in a few of my own postings that it is very plausible for a 2023-2024 rapture. The second American eclipse in 2024 forming an "X" over the nation gives me pause for a Tribulation start in 2022. And for the reasons suggested in Rapture Ready's Gary Ritter, it gives it much more credibility for the Tribulation start in the next Shemitta cycle with the rapture occurring well before then.

      Interesting times.

    3. And then there is the possibility of the bear strike on America occurring in 2022 indicating the preceding rapture i.e. 2 Kings chapter 2 without this event necessarily being a part of the Ezekiel 37 & 38 war of Good/Magog. But rather, occurring later in the aforementioned Gary Ritter suggested time frame. So, we still could be looking at a 2022 rapture.

In my estimation, we're probably not going to get any more nearer to an accurate estimation than these suggested time frames. Unless the Lord announces from the heavens or let's us all know personally when it will be, this is probably the closest we can get to a specific time ... Lol.

      We watch, we wait.

    4. 2024 or later? I certainly hope not! I can't see us being here that much longer. We are building to a crescendo now and once the birth pains start they don't go into reverse. That would put the rebirth of Israel in 1948 significantly over the 80 year mark as well.

      Delete
    5. Lol ... Indeed it would. That is the main thing that we cannot get around unless we are talking about a different biblical declaration of a generation other than Psalm 90:10. And, as you say, with the birth pangs going like they are, I do not see how we go much further without slipping into Tribulation-level events.

I see where Gary Ritter is coming from, but it just doesn't seem likely that we go much beyond 2022 - if we get out of it at all without the rapture taking place.
      I'm with ya on that.

      Yesterday was 6-6-2022; 6-6-6 (Add the 2's)

On this day, Bill Gates turns 66 years and 222 months old.

George W Bush turns 911 months old,

      Obama turns 22,222 days old,

and Donald Trump will be 666,000 hours old.

It is also 2 months and 22 days before the 2024 eclipse.

    7. Gary, I read recently that when Israel became a nation on May 14th, 1948 it was right before the Feast of Pentecost. In fact the famous newspaper article announcing it on the front page was dated May 16th, 1948 which was supposedly the date of Pentecost that year. That got me to wondering. Could God have started the count of the 80 year generation on Pentecost (1948), and have it end on Pentecost (2022 - 7 plus years before His 2nd Coming) instead of using our standard calendar dates (May 14th, 1948 to May 14th, 2022)? If so, then we would still be in the Fig tree generation window right now, IF the real Pentecost this year is not until June 15th. Does that make sense? Or am I off base? What do you think?

  3. For those unaware of the importance of this development, if this is the fatal blow for Bennett's government, this is the fulfillment of the Kuduri prophecy - which states the revealing of the messiah (at least their version of the messiah they are expecting) after the fall of three governments (something along those lines). But as I understand it, Kuduri revealed the Messiah to be Jesus - something that most Jews would vehemently deny.

The details on this can be seen here in Paul's recent video ...

  6. And why the fall feasts of the Jew's are not Rapture days.

There are three fall feasts yet remaining to be fulfilled by Jesus.

Trumpets - The Harvest Time/New beginning
Atonement - The Affliction of their souls, and finally,
Tabernacles - A time of thankfulness, gladness and expectancy.

These feasts are reserved for His second coming because there would have been no need for them had the Jews accepted the sacrifice at the time.

But, because they rejected, the direction of the fulfilled feasts was turned into promises of God to the Church. Those promises end with
the completion of the Churches covenant. The Churches covenant ends
at the Rapture, and there is no Jewish feast that celebrates the rapture.
So, naturally there is no shadow cast for the Rapture from the feasts.

But, remember, that the substance casting the shadow is Jesus, and Jesus is the Messiah, so the Messiah landscape has more to it than just the feasts. I can say that because the Messiah landscape comes out of Jonah’s landscape, which requires a 40-day period of warning that ends with being saved from God’s destruction.

We know that He'’s coming again, and that the theme of it is to complete
the Abraham covenant. Scripture says the offering will be made again
to the Jews. And because He'’s offered again, proves that the Church age
is over. The Church already accepted Jesus as Christ, reoffering Him to
us would be meaningless. And since Jesus atoned for sin, and we
accepted that, the fulfillment of the feast of Atonement by Jesus, to
include the Church would be meaningless also. And, when Jesus
returns to earth to take command of His Kingdom, we will be with Him
as part of the cadre, as He fulfills the feast of Tabernacles, not for us,
    but for the Jews!

FACING THE DRAGON IN JUNE? THEN WE FLY!

  13. The timing for peace has to be close enough so it can happen by Pentecost, because the new offering of the Messiah, the completion of Gods work, to the Jews (which went to the Church) happens on Pentecost.

The resumption of the Abraham covenant, cannot begin again until the Messiah completes His covenant with the Church on Ascension Day.

The warning period of the dead in Christ rising on First Fruits is what Paul tells us to watch for.

So you will be able to count down the 40 days Jonah warning which ends on Ascension day.

    ReplyDelete
  14. We are in the situation Paul described for us when he told the followers to WATCH!

He knew there would be historical events to watch for including his own vision that the dead in Christ rise first before the living (40 days before), at the coming of the Lord to remove the restraining force which is withholding Daniel's final seven.

    1. Gregg, like many others I had always understood that the Resurrection and Rapture of Those in Christ would occur simultaneously; HOWEVER, a compilation of prophetic words and visions (that I share in my article referred to above) seem to agree with what you are saying about a 40-days Jonah warning.

And as I mention in the article, it is JERUSALEM we must watch as far as historical events, for in my opinion the TWO STATE SOLUTION and the DIVIDING OF JERUSALEM probably at the END OF JUNE is the key to the Resurrection/Rapture timing.

    2. HI Lyn/Gregg, I'm curious (not argumentative, curious), if there is a gap between Resurrection and Rapture, how do you envision the point of our still being here? If we are already "resurrected/transformed" then those believing afterwards would not be part of the rapture, would they--merely early Tribulation saints? Since scripture mentions nothing like this scenario, or a second resurrection for those who come to faith during the "gap"? Would we share the good news only to leave them to go through the tribulation? Would the point merely be the witnessing power (cf to that coming during the 7 years with the 2 witnesses and the 144K). If so, even though we know God wants none to perish, all to have every possible chance, yet haven't they already--cf Noah and the flood, eventually the flood came? I just don't see this in scripture. Also, David Lowe, Earthquake Resurrection, makes an interesting case for massive worldwide destruction at the moment of worldwide instaneous resurrection due to the energy/nuclear (PR, want to comment on this) released that will cause worldwide cataclysms. How does this, if correct, fit with a 40 day additional witnessing period? Again, asking honestly. Anybody else want to chime in?

      Delete
    3. Hi Hmewrdbd/Judi! I feel like I should have a caveat with every comment I write because my end time views change as I learn more (I do have a caveat paragraph at my blog site because of this!) IF the scenario of the RR is that there is a transformation but we remain on earth to witness for a period (40 days?), I believe the Dead in Christ would witness alongside those who were Alive in Christ and then we would be gathered together simultaneously. In my case I am NOT adamant nor am I proclaiming thus saith the Lord for we truly only see in part.

There is much that is not in the Scriptures regarding the last days. However, thanks to Ozark and Gregg, I see a possible reoccurring pattern. Perhaps God plans on events occurring leading up to our Resurrection/Rapture paralleling our Lord's resurrection. By that I am referring to a time of darkness along with an earthquake and 40 days of witnessing then resurrection (Matthew 27:45, 50-53). Only time will tell, of course! But I don't think we have much longer to wait. . .

  15. In light of the recent spate of shootings, I just wanted to share some thoughts. I know many Republican Christians believe in their right to bear arms. They also somewhat mistakenly believe that the American Constitution is based on Judeo-Christian values. Just because the word “God” appears somewhere in the constitution does not prove that. Many of America’s founding fathers were freemasons, and one of the prerequisites of being a Freemason is the belief in the existence of “god” – any god will do, including Muslim, Hindu, Jewish or Christian.
The articles listed in the Bill of Rights (rights to freedom of speech, bear arms, freedom of assembly etc) also do not appear among the 10 commandments Moses carried. Honestly speaking, humans have no rights to speak of ever since Adam sinned and fell from grace. We forfeited all our rights that moment on. Whatever liberties we (especially Christians) enjoy now is purely by the grace of God, purchased by Christ at the cross.
During the time of Moses, when the sons of Korah rebelled against God by speaking against Moses (mistakenly assuming their rights to freedom of assembly and speech), God opened up the earth to swallow them (Numbers 16: 31 – 35).
Many also believe that USA is today’s spiritual Israel of the old testament, and that God is looking to judge USA based on its righteousness or wickedness. This is replacement theory. Israel will always be Israel (spiritual or otherwise), not USA. Furthermore, we are still in the Age of Grace, as announced by Christ at His reading of Isaiah 61 where He stopped at the comma which has since lasted 2000 years. If God was looking to judge the nations for their sins, He would have wiped out many of them long ago. As it is, Christ’s blood shed at the cross has unleashed God’s grace and favour upon the whole world.
Those Republican Christians who forget His salvation, trumpet God’s wrath and base their righteousness on political and legislative associations, are like the Israelites in Exodus 19:7. They were confident in their own righteousness, and forgot that it was by grace that God led them out of Egypt and kept them alive in the desert, despite their frequent murmurings. In effect, such Republicans are similarly asking to be justified by their lawkeeping.

So what freedoms did Christ purchase at the cross for us through His shed blood? The right to be free from the effects of sin – sin’s curse (poverty, disease), shame, condemnation, guilt, reproach (anxiety, worry, fears, depression) and judgement. Because of Christ’s righteousness imputed to us, we now possess the right to be healed, to be blessed, protected, favoured etc (see Deuteronomy 28). So why do many Christians still insist on their right to bear arms? Is it too much of a sacrifice to give up this right for the greater good of society? If Dems were willing to ban abortion, will Republicans be willing to ban civilian ownership of guns?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. So basically, you think good people should not be allowed to defend themselves?
The only one with guns and ammo will be the bad people!

And He said to them, "When I sent you out without purse and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?" And they said, "No, nothing."

And He said to them, "But now, let him who has a purse take it along, likewise also a bag, and let him who has no sword sell his robe and buy one.

"For I tell you, that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me, 'AND HE WAS NUMBERED WITH TRANSGRESSORS'; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment."

And they said, "Lord, look, here are two swords." And He said to them, "It is enough."

You are never going to be free of sin.

Jesus condemns the thought as well as the deed of sin.

Jesus provided the way to have a relationship with the father.

    2. You might want to remember who Jesus is.

The Jews therefore gathered around Him, and were saying to Him, "How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly."

Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father's name, these bear witness of Me. But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep.

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

"My Father, who has give them to Me, is greater then all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand.

"I and the Father are one."

    3. I have a question....in 1 Thess 4:16 it says the "dead in Christ will rise first". Why first? Just curious. Why not at same time? Why not later? Does God want to let us get excited knowing that the event is happening? Does God want to give non-Christians time to make a last minute decision? Does God want the saints that have died before us get a chance to wave at us as they go up or for us to see our relatives go up? This may be in the same category as "how many angels dance on a pin...". and how much earlier...seconds...days....I don't know if we can figure this out this side of heaven...just wondering....why it was important enough to put this detail in the Bible.

  19. THE SECOND ORDER OF THE RESURRECTION OF THE RIGHTEOUS

    Hmewrdbd, Any & All,

The Apostle Paul records in his first letter to the Church in Corinth,

22 For as in Adam all die, so
in Christ shall all be made alive.

23 But each in his own order:
    Christ the firstfruits, then at
    his coming those who belong
    to Christ.

    (1 Corinthians 15:22-23 ESV)

The Holy Spirit gives us the order in which the resurrection will occur. It comes in three parts or waves. The first is Christ Himself risen on the third day. In this case the third day was the Feast of First Fruits according to the ruling authorities, the Pharisees. How ironic and fitting!

Next in the order of the resurrection of the righteous are all those who belong to Christ, who are in Christ, belong to Him and will be taken at His coming. This order or wave is broken down thus in Paul's letter to the Church in Thessalonica,

15 For this we declare to you
by a word from the Lord, that
we who are alive, who are left
until the coming of the Lord,
    will not precede those who
    have fallen asleep.

16 For the Lord himself will
    descend from heaven with a
    cry of command, with the
    voice of an archangel, and
with the sound of the trumpet
of God. And the dead in Christ
    will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive, who
are left, will be caught up
together with them in the clouds
to meet the Lord in the air, and
so we will always be with the
    Lord.

    (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 ESV)

This is the Day of our Blessed Hope. Part II of the Resurrection of the Righteous. Note that there is no gap indicated here between those who are asleep (dead) in Christ and those who are alive.
The meeting is a co-meeting of the dead in Christ and His living body taken in that order to meet the Lord in the air, not in heaven.

Here is verse 17 again but as a direct literal translation from the Greek,

17 THEN WE THE ONES LIVING THE
    ONES REMAINING TOGETHER WITH
THEM WILL BE CAUGHT UP IN CLOUDS
TO A MEETING OF THE LORD IN AIR
AND SO ALWAYS WITH LORD WE WILL BE.

    (1 THESSALONIANS 4:17 GNT)

NOTE: I've hyperlinked the word, "TOGETHER" above to Strong's (G260) below so that you may see what that means per Concordance,

    Strong's Concordance (G260)

    hama: at once
    Original Word: ἅμα
    Part of Speech: Adverb
    Transliteration: hama
    Phonetic Spelling: (ham'-ah)
    Definition: at once
Usage: at the same time, therewith, along with, together with.

Together means together. At once. At the same time. Therewith. Along with. Together with...thus no discernible gap in time or moments at most.

    I hope this helps,

    PR

  20. Thank you, PR, that is how I have always seen it. BTW do you have any thoughts on the theory that resurrections emit intense energy, electrical discharge/minor nuclear event, and that the BOC dead and alive, all resurrecting at the same time could/would trigger the massive geological effects seen in Revelation? The theory is partly based on the newly discovered evidence on the Shroud of Turin that Christ actually hovered between the fabric, over and under, so that the image become 3D. This is then tied to the earthquake that occurred at Christ's resurrection. I know I'm not explaining this well, and am not a scientist, but I find the possibility fascinating. It certainly would explain earthquakes going on worldwide (not just in a particular locality) at the time of the RR. I'm sorry I can't find the article I read about the scientists who think there was significant electrical discharge.

    1. Hmmm, let's see. What do we know? We know how Jesus looked while walking the earth. He was fully human -- flesh and blood while being fully Divine. We also know how Jesus looked when John encountered Him in (Revelation 1),

14 The hairs of his head were
white, like white wool, like snow.
His eyes were like a flame of fire,

15 his feet were like burnished
      bronze, refined in a furnace,
and his voice was like the roar
      of many waters.

16 In his right hand he held
      seven stars, from his mouth
      came a sharp two-edged sword,
and his face was like the sun
      shining in full strength.

      (Revelation 1:14-16 ESV)

If we are made in His Image and made to become as He is then, "Yes!" I think such a transformation could indeed result in a physical effect on the earth itself. We already know by physical laws that mass can be converted to energy and energy can be converted into mass. If the discharge of electrical energy in the clouds can produce sound waves that shake the earth; I cannot image the coming of the Lord Jesus on the clouds wouldn't do the same thing!

I would dig on appearances of G-D in the Torah (Old Testament) when He was present in the cloud. Much energy is indicated in these encounters. A good Bible study if you ask me?!!

    2. Indeed! The OT is replete with examples of the power of God, just by speaking (Psalms, Exodus, Job in particular). David Lowe in his book also argues that the Trumpet is actually the Voice of God, so if the Trumpet/Voice of God: Come up here, can cause the mountains to shake (among other things), I suppose a Voice that can be heard simultaneously all around the earth, would be powerful enough to "shake-rattle-and roll" the physical earth--especially in combination with the release of energy at 2 billion or so resurrections occurring at the same time! I don't think the aftermath of the RR will be the rest of the world going about business as usual, once over the shock of the disappearance, as so many books and movies have portrayed. I'll have to take a look at Jerusalem Countdown, thanks.

    3. Judi--Are you referring to my 2017 article Event Horizon--The Resurrection ?

      Delete
    4. Lyn, thank you sister, for reminding me of that article. I read all your articles but had forgotten about that one. It confirms, for me, what I have been reading about the intense energy released through a resurrection. My interest has been piqued by Todd Adkins discussion of sudden DESTRUCTION at the moment of the rapture, due to the massive bursts of energy (these are all my words, according to my understanding of what he's saying) that will be released: such that there will be major earthquakes, mountains shifting, tsunamis occuring. This does explain, for me, how there can be earthquakes around the entire world at the same time. Todd references a book written by David W Lowe, in 2005, that describes just such an occurance--and consequently slightly different prophetic timelines. Without getting into the "have the seals been opened" argument, a case can be made that the conditions of the first 5 seals, to one extent or another, have existed throughout church history. As an aside, he concludes the martyrs under the altar are all the saints who have been martyred throughout church history, otherwise, the Tribulation saints as they are conventionally assumed, are out of chronology. I know I'm not giving enough development here for his conclusions. He is still pre-Trib, but with a different take on the first 5 seals. Which puts the rapture causing the worldwide deststruction of the 6th seal. Makes for an interesting theoretical consideration. If he is correct, I'm thinking my house which is midway up a hill with others above, may not be standing after we're gone--so people would have to search the rubble for extra supplies and my rapture letters and Bible studies 😳. I am not doing justice to Lowe here, one would need to read his book, which is far more detailed and with scriptural support. Because the book was written in 2005, the latest analysis on the Shroud was not available at the time but aligns with what we now know. Yes, a massive event horizon is on its way. Surely it comes quickly! Maranatha!

  21. David Lowe, Earthquake Resurrection

Hmewrdbd, I think you were asking me about this book (above?) I have not read his book but clearly see where he may be going with earthquakes.

Rick Larson did a follow-up DVD to "The Star of Bethlehem" called "The Christ Quake" which gives evidence to a literal earthquake taking place about the time of the crucifixion. The geologic record in the Dead Sea does show a seismic event in such proximity to a know (dated) quake in the region that is candidate for the Christ quake. What does Scripture tell us?

51 And behold, the curtain of
the temple was torn in two,
from top to bottom. And the
    earth shook, and the rocks
    were split.

52 The tombs also were opened.
And many bodies of the saints
    who had fallen asleep were
    raised,

53 and coming out of the tombs
    after his resurrection they went
into the holy city and appeared
    to many.

    (Matthew 27:51-53 ESV)

So it seems a logical connection to see an earthquake at the time of the harpazo. The movie "Jerusalem Countdown" rendered such an event. Check it out if you haven't seen it!

I haven't done a deep dive into the Christ Quake. The presentation by Rick is interesting but has too much fluff/filler if you know what I mean. One point that stuck with me from his video is from the extras. (I like his extras!!) Rick discusses a word he received while in church that the quake was the gavel of God's judgment falling declaring the price for sin had been paid in full.

    Case closed.

  22. Thank you for your response, Pastor Rich. I like that: "the quake was the gavel of God's judgment falling declaring the price for sin had been paid in full." And soon the gavel will strike again, only this time sin will be judged in the physical as well as spiritual realms. I so look forward to God's cleansing the earth from all depravity and corruption once and for all!

    Maranatha!

  24. Re earthquakes, one of my most profound revelations came through a shaking. The night before Passover in 2008, I asked Abba: was He calm and satisfied during the crucifixion or did He grieve? The answer was immediate and clear—a 5.2 earthquake. I have felt since that time that He pounded the earth with His Fist, put sackcloth over the sun, and tore His garments (the veil in the temple.) The greatest victory of all time exacted such a terrible price on both Father and Son. The contrast between the suffering and the accomplishment makes me shake in my boots.

    * I had a friend who lived right at the epicenter who counted and confirmed the aftershocks, which were the number associated with Messiah.

  25. Gregg,

Using the bible (Luke 22:36) to justify gun-ownership is taking the bible verse out of context. It's like using the bible to justify slavery. Jesus had asked those disciples to carry swords in order to fulfill prophecy. He did not ask them to use those swords to defend themselves or otherwise.

Jesus said, "For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in me: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors.’ For what is written about me has its fulfillment” (Luke 22:37). Do you see yourself as a "transgressor"

When the Roman soldiers came for Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane, and Peter drew out his sword to defend Him, what did Jesus do? Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword" (Matthew 26:52).

Put some common sense into it!

If you are King James and you want people to pay tax and lay down there weapons you would use religion to do it.

Lyn is right and you are wrong!

I don't know who you are, but you are not who you think you are Here.

Go ask the armed forces to lay down there weapons and surrender or a police officer to stand down while you commit a crime.

Or a home owner not to defend there family against rape pillage and plunder!

  29. Jonah paints a picture of the Messiah, and when we examine the scenes that develop His landscape, we come to the scene that corresponds to the feast of First Fruits.

First Fruits is God s set time of the promise of the full harvest yet to come.

The set times of the Jews were cast as shadows of things to come for the Church, and that the substance casting the shadow is Jesus.

First Fruits lasted fifty days and ended on Pentecost. The events concerning Jesus the Messiah that occur during that set time of fifty days are the shadows that are cast into the future of the Church.

Jesus rose on that day, fulfilling the set time for His resurrection, and became the promise of the full harvest yet to come. Also, on that same day, graves were opened and many saints came out of them and were seen by many in Jerusalem.

Resurrected saints, many of them, seen by many in Jerusalem!

Now we are into the landscape that develops the risen saints, and who they are in the Churches future.

This scene of risen saints is part of the set time of First Fruits, so it’s shadow is cast into the Churches future along with everything else in the Jonah landscape.

Jesus fulfills the set time for His resurrection, becoming the first fruit of resurrection and after Him, comes the many saints, resurrected to their glory by His sacrifice. Captives of the original sin, set free from their bondage by the blood shed of an innocent, who was God, and taken as captives to Himself when He returned to His throne on that Ascension day.

That event had a set time. The time was set at 40 days in the Landscape of Jonah, and fulfilled by the Messiah, so is part of His landscape. The Messiah landscape includes everything depicted in Jonah. Jonah warned to repent or suffer impending destruction by God in 40 days. So, this 40-day period was a period of warning.

  30. Obviously police officers and army personnel should still be allowed to have guns, because it is their job.

I do not appreciate your rude and condescending tone towards me. It also does not matter what we think of each other Here. What only matters is what God thinks of us, and what we think of Him.

  31. The audacity of ignorance displayed when people want to take away our guns. We would not have this great country had our forefathers been like minded. I strongly believe in gun control....and that is being able to keep my shots in the bullseye.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I would rather be "ignorant" and depend on Christ for protection, than to cling to guns to protect myself.

"Let no one deceive himself. If any of you thinks he is wise in this age, he should become a fool, so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight" (1 Corinthians 3:18).

    1. If Jesus forbids self-defense, then why did He say this:

      Luke 22:36
“Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.”

    2. Gun ownership does not preclude faith in God for protection. The Disciples carried swords. Remember this?

      John 18:10

“Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.”

      The Disciples all carried swords.

    3. Jesus did not tell Peter to get rid of his sword. Did He? He said to put it away, not get rid of it.

    4. "And it's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations,". Sound familiar? Your language echoes this sentiment exactly.

      Bye.

  33. The 40-days period sounds foreign to our ears, however, the Book of Acts Chapter 1 recounts how Jesus "shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God". It is possible that the many Old Testament saints that were resurrected also witnessed for the same 40 day period (Matthew 27:50-53).

    ReplyDelete
  34. I did not say that Jesus forbade self-defense. However, in all the new testament, do u find any account of the disciples actually using swords? The only time was when Peter used it to cut off someone's ear. U quoted that verse but u conveniently left out the most important part. Jesus immediately asked Peter to put the sword away, and warned him that "For all who take the sword will perish by the sword" (Matthew 26:52).

Think about it and let it sink in. All who TAKE the sword WILL perish by the sword.

And among the 12 disciples, there were only 2 swords in fact. In Luke 22:38 -- "They said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.”
The 2 swords were only used to fulfill prophecy which I have earlier explained.

With all the mass shootings in USA today, it is obvious that gun-ownership has gone totally out of control. The proliferation of assault weapons has gone way beyond just "2 swords". Too much candy is bad for the teeth. The people's love for guns has become an addiction, and young people in particular are not able to handle this right to gun-ownership responsibly, and abuse it.

As Christians we can show grace in today's terrible situation by allowing for more gun control. It is just a simple sacrifice. Nobody said it would be easy -- that is why it is called a sacrifice in the first place. Isn't it all about grace as Gary has been teaching?
