Heavenly Calendar Sync: Y2K Equinox Supermoon Reappears

Today is the Spring Equinox, but it's also something more: the first supermoon coinciding with the equinox in 19 years—one complete metonic cycle.  The last such occurrence happened in the year 2,000, just months after the turn of the millennium and Y2K.  In and of itself, this doesn't tell us much, but it is simply one more piece in the growing crescendo of signs pointing to the importance of 2019 for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy: historic Israeli elections, the unveiling of the Trump-Kushner peace plan, and an event in August that may coincide with, or, at the very least, foreshadow Revelation 13:1–2 (more on this in a minute).

For the next nearly eight weeks Israel remains 70 years old.  In 2017 we witnessed the greatest heavenly sign foretold by John (Revelation 12:1–2); in 2018 we saw what may have been the subsequent sign of the dragon (Revelation 12:3–4) and also the restoration of Israel's biblical-legal identity via the Jewish State Law.  Each year has brought us one monumental step closer to the Day of the LORD—and yet Christians grow sleepier and sleepier.  I say this collectively: we're dropping the ball.  We may only have a year or two, at most, to complete the mission that God has given us.

We're Not In Heaven Yet

For those who believe in Christ, this world is the only hell they will ever know, but for those who do not believe, who stand condemned already (Jn. 3:18), this world is the closest to Heaven they'll ever get.  Don't make this world your heaven.

You adulterous people!  Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?  Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- James 4:4

Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
- John 12:25

Speaking of many of the religious people I know, nothing aggravates them more than bringing up the fact that God's prophetic promises are being fulfilled right now, in our own generation.  It challenges their comfort and exposes where their real hope lies.  The prosperity teachers betray you.  You can be comfortable in this world or the world to come, but not both.  True faith in Christ precludes enjoying the fullness of this world, because the fullness of this world is brokenness, corruption, and sin.  Don't confuse the abundant life Christ promised with worldly, material indulgence, as a growing number of false teachers would have you do.  We must keep our focus on the mission: share the good news, love sacrificially, give all that God has given you for the Kingdom.  Too many Christians are rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic and many times I'm guilty of this, too.  It's utter folly.

Seven Heads And Ten Horns

I mentioned that there is an event coming in August that may hold some prophetic significance.  It's an event that occurs every year, rarely with any noteworthy results, but this year may be different.  Recall that the Trump-Kushner peace plan will soon be unveiled, which may form the basis for the covenant of Daniel 9:27 that is later strengthened for a period of seven years (Daniel's 70th Week).

Now consider the new globalist poster-boy Emmanuel Macron who, quite frankly, fits a lot of what is said about the coming man of lawlessness (see here and here).

This past summer, Macron launched a ten nation military confederation in Europe called the European Intervention Initiative (E.I.I.), composed of ten core members of the European Union.

The event in August that I've been alluding to is the 45th G7 Summit, which will be held in southwest France and hosted by none other than globalist messiah Macron from August 25th through the 27th.  The G7 is a group of the seven largest advanced economies in the world—just seven nations that collectively control 58% of the entire planet's wealth.

...And I saw a beast coming out of the sea.  It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.  The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion.  The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.
- Revelation 13:1–2

In terms of Bible prophecy, "sea" often represents the Gentile nations of the world.  John describes a world leader arising from the midst of the Gentiles with seven heads and ten horns.  The ten horns are further described in Revelation 17:

The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast.  They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast.
- Revelation 17:12–13

In August we see a world leader with many of the attributes of antichrist, the head of a ten nation military confederation, hosting the seven nations of the G7.  In the Revelation 13 narrative, the seven-headed beast arises from the sea before the fallen dragon (satan) gives him his authority.  The beast's initial rise may roughly correspond to the first seal of Revelation 6—the first rider on a white horse.  After the dragon falls to earth (described in Revelation 12), he gives the beast his power and authority (Revelation 13).

If the rapture occurs before August (perhaps even this Spring?), then the timing of this summit is impeccable.  If we still have a little more time, then this summit may instead serve as a powerful foreshadowing or prototype for what's soon to come when the man of lawlessness (who may or may not be Macron; we can only speculate) gathers power from a similar grouping of world leaders through the use of deceit and intrigue.

Given that the Revelation 12 Sign(s) are now behind us and Israel will soon be entering its 71st year, I think we may start to witness some major prophetic changes that few are ready to see and fewer still are ready to handle.  Eventually the contractions reach peak, the water breaks, and the prophetic flood comes.  Just as the Apostle Paul describes in 1 Thessalonians 5, when we escape, destruction comes suddenly and quickly for those left behind.

The Intermission

I've mentioned before that being the ones to live post-Revelation 12 Sign and pre-rapture, places us at a very peculiar and exhilarating point in history.  The rapture—of which we do not know with certainty the day or hour—is truly, truly at hand; and God's message to us through the Great Sign and all of the "little" signs surrounding it, has clarified where we are and how truly imminent His appearing is.  It has also clarified certain key themes of prophetic Scripture, including the necessity of a pre-trib rapture of the Church (see here and here).

While we are still fully living in the Age of Grace, this is no doubt the crossing of the dispensations.  With September 23, 2017 now one and a half years behind us, I've been wondering just how long this intermission might last.  Do we have any clues?

Previously I had considered the 50 days between Christ's resurrection and Pentecost as a similar type of period, but maybe I had that a bit backwards.  The dispensation did not change at the resurrection (or mid- or post-Acts as some mistakenly believe), but at Pentecost when the Spirit was given—the fulfillment of John the Baptist's prophecy that the Messiah would baptize us in the Holy Spirit.  John was the last prophet of the Old Covenant, and Christ—through His death, resurrection, and sending of the Paraclete—is the progenitor of the New.

So just as we are still living within the Age of Grace, but in its final moments after a major prophetic event (the Revelation 12 Sign), was there something similar at the beginning of the Age of Grace, but on this side of Pentecost?

What about Jesus' glorious appearance to Saul on the road to Damascus several years after the crucifixion?  It was a heavenly appearing of the LORD in the sky and it was the first public appearing of the LORD after His ascension (Stephen saw him privately in a vision some time before).  This event is generally dated 2–4 years after the crucifixion and it marked a major turning point in the history of the Church.  By divine selection, God appointed a new Jewish apostle to be sent exclusively to the Gentiles.  He was entrusted with the gospel of grace (but not solely entrusted with the gospel; the other apostles were also entrusted with it).

Whereas the apostolic ministry had been to the Jews up to this point, God would now intervene to complete the mission and correct course (He had already told the apostles to deliver the message to all the nations, but they had not yet obliged—excepting Philip and the eunuch in Acts 8—still not understanding the fullness of God's grace and His plan to reach the whole world).  It wasn't until Acts 10 that Peter would finally realize that the gospel was unlimited in scope and his own ministry would be to both Jews and Gentiles.

So consider this series of events as an analogy to where we are in history in relation to the rapture:

In ~33 AD three major heavenly signs occur.  The first being the three hours of darkness during the crucifixion and the second being the blood moon recorded in Acts 2.  The third involved the constellation of Gemini, which I wrote about here.  Some 2–4 years later, Christ appears in glory in the sky with radiant light descending on Saul and his entourage.  Saul is spiritually transformed through faith.

In 2017 a "great" heavenly sign occurred on September 23, 2017.  2–4 years later brings us to 2019–2021.  The next major event is Christ once again, post-Pentecost, appearing in the sky in glory to physically transform those with faith.  And like Paul who was at one point raptured into the third heaven (2 Cor. 12:2–4), we will be, too.

2019 may be a great candidate for our own departure with its tie to Israel's 70th year, and 2026 possibly being the 6,000th year since creation (see here).  2021 might be even better, but time will tell.  2028, seven years later, will be exactly 80 years since Israel's establishment (the upper limit of a generation according to Psalm 90:10).  It will also be exactly 2,000 years—40 50-year jubilees—since Christ's ministry began in the biblical year of 28–29 AD.  I found something else interesting while researching today's supermoon regarding the metonic cycles: the sky of 2028 AD will be precisely "in sync" with 33 AD.  In other words, the years are on the same metonic cycle—2028 AD is exactly 105 metonic cycles since 33 AD.

Furthermore, 1,260 day/42 month/3.5 year periods play a key role in Bible prophecy.  By some measures Christ's ministry lasted 3.5 years.  The Great Tribulation lasts for 3.5 years.  The two witnesses prophesy for 3.5 years.  There were 3.5 years between the first blood moon in the 2014–15 tetrad and the Revelation 12 Sign.  There are 3.5 years between the Revelation 12 Sign and the beginning of the biblical year of 2021–22.  Many of us wondered if 2014–21 would be the Tribulation with the Revelation 12 Sign and the Great American Eclipse right in the middle of it.  Perhaps, instead, that was the seven-year warning or "seven years of plenty" with the true seven years of famine, the Tribulation, stretching from 2021–28 and near the middle is the next Great American Eclipse in 2024.  This is all speculation of course, but we've reached a window of time in which an unfathomable amount of signs have all lined up—dates, numbers, heavenly and earthly signs, and societal and technological signs that seem to perfectly match with what was described by the prophets.

  3. Thanks Gary. Yeah I REALLY hope we will see our LORD this Purim / or before Israel turns 71.

But obviously there are many people who will be woken up today, tomorrow, and every day between now and the rapture, who will be very happy and relieved that they didnt miss the rapture, and they made it into the ark on time.

And our patient LORD does not want that any perish, all we can do is keep watching the signs, and birth pains increasing in frequency and intensity, and trust that our LORD's perfect timing is.. PERFECT!

  5. Quoting you, Gary,

"Eventually the contractions reach peak, the water breaks, and the prophetic flood comes."

Boy, you ain't kidding! Flooding in the plains states, Cyclone Idai swamps Mozambique.

    Quoting, BBC,

"Charities say thousands of people are stranded [in Mozambique] by catastrophic flooding, clinging to roofs or stuck in trees.

In the port city of Beira aid workers say they have only two to three days of clean water left."

Greenland's ice is melting even in winter rains. The Antarctic ice shelves are progressively breaking up. Indeed, it seems the water is breaking.

    Quoting you again, Gary,

"With September 23, 2017 now one and a half years behind us, I've been wondering just how long this intermission might last. Do we have any clues?"

Part of me is taken back to Jesus' excursion through Samaria on a trip where others would have gone around the region. It is there that we are introduced to the woman at Jacob's well. How many days did Jesus stay with them in Sychar?

    Two days.

Could we be looking at a two-year intermission from the beginning of the Great Sign to the Rapture?

    Could be.

    You also mention,

"He had already told the apostles to deliver the message to all the nations, but they had not yet obliged—excepting Philip and the eunuch in Acts 8—still not understanding the fullness of God's grace and His plan to reach the whole world."

That too is an interesting pin-point as what happened to Philip after his baptising the eunuch?

    Hmmm...

In effect we may be seeing the unfolding of history in reverse. In other words, a revisiting of signs and events in reverse that began with the creation and led through God's sojourn in the garden with Adam and to the birth, death, resurrection and ascension of the Christ only to reverse course and lead to the reign of Christ on earth with man before the creation of the New Heaven and the New Earth. (Sans Satan)

It's like we're moving forward in reverse.

    Indeed. Be ready!

  8. Small error: When Saul was 'harpazo-ed' it is from 2 Corinthians 12:2.

Thank you for the article, there is so much anti-harpazo word going around that it has admittedly gotten me to doubt yet I haven't done the due diligence to challenge one way or the other. So much information is coming out concerning what we should be doing as believers and shouldn't be, it's been hard to sift through it and determine what is sound and what is out of context or lies.

Sooo many distractions, so many issues, it's become almost too much to bear.

  11. A PIN-POINT

The dead are *rising* from Earth's highest mountain.

Mount Everest: Melting glaciers expose dead bodies

    Quoting, BBC,

"Nearly 300 mountaineers have died on the peak since the first ascent attempt and two-thirds of bodies are thought still to be buried in the snow and ice."

"Because of global warming, the ice sheet and glaciers are fast melting and the dead bodies that remained buried all these years are now becoming exposed..."

"And a government officer who worked as a liaison officer on Everest added: 'I myself have retrieved around 10 dead bodies in recent years from different locations on Everest and clearly more and more of them are emerging now.'"

US officials say announcement on Israeli sovereignty in Golan ‘could come next week’

"An announcement by the United States officially recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the disputed Golan Heights 'could come as early as next week', US and Israeli officials told The Associated Press on Thursday."

This holds potential importance as Syria has signalled it's willingness to fight for the Golan if such a declaration is made. The news also comes on the heels of the White House indicating that 200 US troops are to stay in Syria.

  13. I tend to believe that the conversion of Paul on the road to Damascus it was about a year-and-a-half after the resurrection of Christ.

It is true that the church age started at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came, but it was about a year-and-a-half later that salvation by grace through faith was revealed to the Apostle Paul.

Up until then, the early church was still being taught salvation under the gospel of the Kingdom. When Peter stood up on the day of Pentecost he had no revelation of the gospel of grace, he taught what he knew.

It was only a year or so later that the gospel of grace was revealed through the Apostle Paul. I believe that was the start of the age of Grace, even though the church age started a year so earlier.

  17. Gary, would not this statement be worthy of a 'data point' in determining the end of this Age of Grace or Church Age?

"He replied, "Go tell that fox, 'I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.'"
    Lk 13:32

    which is Hosea 6:2

"After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence."

My context is to put *all* the data points on the wall, so-to-speak, before assuming anything.

Therefore, would Hos 6:2 be a 'data point'? If not, why not? If so,

    1. "Today" - Jesus said 'today' indicating the first of the two days was already in-progress, no?

    2. "two days" - could very well refer to 2,000 years per the 7,000-year period (I won't get into all those references, but assume that's understood and plausible).

    3. "live in His presence" - which hasn't occurred, but is the result of the end of those two days.

    4. "third day' - the Millennium itself

  18. "We may only have a year or two, at most, to complete the mission that God has given us."

Far out!Your mission will extend into the Great Tribulation. The Gentiles will still be saved & you will be responsible for bringing them to Christ, as well as teaching them what the Bible says, apart from the work of the 144k & the 2 witnesses. So muscle up & build up spiritual strength now, in order to witness powerfully during the Great Trib. You're not flying just yet.

"While we are still fully living in the Age of Grace, this is no doubt the crossing of the dispensations."

Cross what dispensation? Back to the 70th week with Israel? Then how do the Gentile world still get saved during the Trib? By their works? No! They're still saved the same way as you & i do : by the Holy Spirit. You gotta kick the thought of 'dispensations' out of your mind. The OT through to the NT is one continuous book. The church age only ends at the 1st resurrection.

The 1st resurrection includes those who are martyred during the Trib.

    1. Anonymous - read Revelation 14. The tribulation - the time of Jacob's trouble, not the time of Gentiles' trouble, is another dispensation that Revelation 14, the Bible, not man or man's opinion, says is the "Everlasting Gospel". There's a new way to be saved when the tribulation occurs and like Enoch, Elijah, Philip, Noah, Lot etc. We will be snatched away and saved.

    2. Anonymous - I hit publish too early.

If tldr Revelation 14, it is in fact a works Gospel. To be saved you must not take the mark, come out of fallen Babylon, fear God (grace is over, at that point it is fear) - basically to be saved die for your faith. Starve, be beheaded, or don't take the mark and somehow survive the 7 years of trib.

The Day of Grace is now. The year of the Lord's favor is here. It will end when the time of the Gentiles is fulfilled and the trib starts, kicked off by the harpazo.

      Shalom and charis.
