Major Prophetic Milestones

We are living in the final days, weeks, months, and years of the age.  There is simply no doubt.  If you can't believe with your heart, then at least believe what your own eyes see.  Everything has converged to this climactic moment.  This article is a review of just some of the key moments that have led us to the precipice on which we now stand.

Milestones

-1517-

The Reformation sets in motion the last great surge of missionary activity leading up to the end of the age and the fulfillment of Christ's prophecy that the gospel would first be a witness to all nations before the end comes (Mt. 24:14; Mk. 13:10).  In the final quarter of the two millennia since Christ, the gospel has reached every nation on earth and hundreds upon hundreds of millions have come to a saving knowledge of the truth.  In fact, Christianity is now more African and Asian than European and American.  Also in 1517, the Ottoman Empire takes control of Jerusalem and the Holy Land.

-1791-

The worldwide emancipation of the Jews begins.

-1880-

The ancient Hebrew language is revived, becoming the first truly dead language to ever be spoken again, and the only remaining language from ancient Canaan.

-1882-

The First Aliyah (mass migration of Jews) to Israel begins.

-1897-

The world's Jewish leadership commits to establishing a homeland in the Middle East and the modern Zionist movement is born.

-1917-

At the Battle of Jerusalem the Ottoman Empire loses control of Israel, with the Holy Land falling back into the hands of Christendom for the first time since the Crusades.  Just weeks before, the Balfour Declaration declares British intention to establish a Jewish homeland.  And World War I, the first global war in human history, leads to the disintegration of the last Islamic caliphate.

-1923-

The British Mandate for Palestine comes into effect on September 29, 1923, allowing the Jews to begin widespread settlement and mass immigration to their ancient homeland.  The Fourth Aliyah begins.

-1945-

At the close of World War II, world leaders establish the first proto-global government in the form of the United Nations.

-1947-

The United Nations passes Resolution 181, which was an international partition plan requiring the division of the Holy Land between a Jewish state and the "Palestinians."  A civil war broke out the very next day between the Jews and Arabs and the plan was never implemented (i.e. the land was not divided).

-1948-

Israel unilaterally declares independence on May 14, 1948, and the State of Israel is born (there had not been a nation called Israel since 722 BC); the War of Independence begins.

-1949-

Israel secures victory in the War of Independence, thus the fledgling country is now firmly rooted having also secured recognition from numerous nations.

-1967-

The Jews take control of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount for the first time since the Hasmonean Kingdom in 63 BC—some 60 years before Christ.  This may have also been the prophetic fulfillment of Psalm 83.

-1973-

Israel wins a hard-fought victory during the Yom Kippur War, which was the country's last major war against a coalition of Arab enemies.  The tiny nation of Israel emerges as the Middle East's sole superpower.

-1990-

The unveiling and dedication of the first cornerstone for the Third Temple.  More have subsequently been built.

-1997-

A genetic test is successfully developed that accurately identifies the Kohanim (descendants of Moses' brother Aaron).

Geneticists unveil their discovery

-1999-

The Golden Lampstand rebuilt (now on display in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City until it can be moved to the Third Temple).  It is covered in 100 pounds of pure gold.

-2004-

The ancient Sanhedrin is reconstituted.

-2005-

Ancient Israeli palm seeds from the time of Christ are successfully germinated.  The Methuselah Tree continues to grow in Israel and now there are more such palms growing.

Also, the robe, turban, and exquisite garments for the high priest are completed and unveiled.

-2008-

Production begins on the linen garments of the Aaronic priests.  120 have since been completed—all that are necessary for service in the Third Temple.

-2014-

The Temple Institute begins crowdfunding to finance the blueprints for the Third Temple.  The money is secured and development begins shortly after.  The following year, the blueprints are revealed.

-2015-

The armies of two of the five modern nations involved in the prophecy of Ezekiel 38 enter into the biblical boundary of northern Israel (southern Syria)—Russia and Iran; the final blood moons in the 2014–15 Blood Moon Tetrad occur on Passover and Tabernacles.

While technology likely to be used for the Mark of the Beast has long been in development, precursor technology for the Mark finally made it into the mainstream in 2015 as thousands of Swedes received a microchip implant in their hand.  The technology has since spread to other countries, including the United States, demonstrating that there is now little societal resistance to something clearly condemned in Scripture (Rev. 13:16–17).

-2016-

Baruch Kahane is appointed as the first high priest of Israel since Phannias ben Samuel in 70 AD.

Kahane is seen ascending a wooden replica of the Altar of Burnt Offering

Jacob's Sheep—the ancient breed of sheep from Israel—return to their ancient homeland.

The Temple Institute begins a registry of Aaronic priests utilizing the 1997 genetic discovery.

A school for Third Temple service opens in Jerusalem.

-2017-

The once-in-history sign of Revelation 12:1–2 appears on September 23–24, 2017, alongside dozens of other strange occurrences with a message indicating that the removal of the Church is near and the Time of Jacob's Trouble is at hand (e.g. here, here, here, here, here, and here).

-2018-

The biblical identity of Israel as a Jewish State with Jerusalem as its capital is restored, along with national recognition of the Sabbath, biblical festivals, and the country's prophetic purpose to ingather the exiles.

Turkish forces enter Syria, now bringing three of the five modern countries named in Ezekiel 38, that come against Israel, into the country immediately north (the direction from which the attack is prophesied to occur).  These are Russia, Iran, and Turkey.  By some interpretations, all that remain are Libya and Sudan.

A possible fulfillment of the sign of Revelation 12:3–4 occurs on October 8, 2018 as the Draconids meteor shower unexpectedly produces shooting stars roughly equivalent to one-third the number of visible stars in the sky, all along the path of the dragon.

The silver half-shekel, which was a required offering to the LORD from every Israelite (Ex. 30:11–16), was reintroduced, featuring President Trump superimposed over Cyrus on the front, and the Third Temple on the back.

The main altar of the Third Temple (Altar of Burnt Offering) is dedicated.

-2019-

A sign in the sun, moon, and stars occurs (January 1st, 20th, and 22nd, respectively), replaying the birth narrative, and pointing again to the nearness of the rapture.

What's Next?

This may come as a surprise, but Israel has never actually been divided by external forces (the nations/Gentiles).  Ancient Israel was divided from within when the Ephraimite Jeroboam rebelled against Solomon's son Rehoboam in the late 10th century BC.  Eventually Assyria took the Northern Kingdom, and the whole of both northern and southern kingdoms fell into the hands of the Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Ptolemies, Seleucids, Romans, and eventually Islamic and crusader states.

There had not been a united Israel since the middle of the 10th century BC... that is, until 1948.  While still not at its fullest, biblical extent, the modern country encompasses territory from both the ancient northern and southern kingdoms.  And as for its people, though the word "Jew" is an anglicization of "Judea" and thus "Judah," the people we call Jews are actually a mixture of all twelve of the ancient tribes of Israel.  Are there more ethnic Israelites still to return to the land?  Perhaps, but it would be inaccurate to say that only Judahites have returned.

Israel and ethnic Israelites are back in the Promised Land, and as just mentioned, the nations have never themselves divided Israel, though they came close in 1947.  This brings the following prophecy from Joel into major focus, because it's the fulfillment of this prophecy that triggers God's judgment on all nations (aka the Day of the LORD):

I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.  And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land...
- Joel 3:2

We learn several important things about the Tribulation from this passage:

1. First, the immediate context is the onset of the Day of the LORD, which begins contemporaneous with, or shortly after, the removal of the Church from the earth, which is presently restraining the spirit of lawlessness from global domination (2 Thess. 2).

Joel 2:28–32 describes events that unfold during the Church Age leading up to the Day of the LORD (c.f. Acts 2:17–21; Rom. 10:13; see also this article).

Then, in the latter days, when God finally "restore[s] the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem" (Jl. 3:1), which is in our lifetime, God will initiate the second global judgment.  Remember, a century or so after Joel delivered his prophecy Israel was conquered by the Assyrians and then over a century after that, the Jews lost control of Jerusalem.  The fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem would not be restored until 1948 and 1967 AD, respectively.  This prophecy is pointing to those of us alive now—in the 21st century.

2. This final judgment of the nations will occur in the Valley of Jehoshaphat, which is generally thought to be the Kidron Valley that separates the Temple Mount in Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives.  No doubt this is the area where Christ, who returns to the Mount of Olives (Zech. 14:2–4; Acts 1:9–12), will tread the winepress of God's wrath, squashing the gathered armies of the nations into a river of blood at the end of the Great Tribulation.

3. This judgment will occur because the nations have scattered the Jews (something that has been ongoing over the course of the past 2,740+ years) and divided God's land (something that hasn't yet happened, but is about to).

Joel has helped us answer the "whens" and "for what reasons," but why?  Why is God going to judge all nations for dividing Israel?

Because God made an everlasting covenant with the patriarch Abraham, endowing him and his descendants through Isaac with the Holy Land.  God's covenants cannot be broken and an everlasting covenant does not pass away.  Thus, when the nations themselves divide Israel and Jerusalem, God, who cannot sin or break a promise, must judge the nations to vindicate His Name.  This is why so many natural disasters have befallen the nations that have trifled with Israel these past 70 years.  They weren't judgments, they were warnings.  When the actual judgment befalls those who sign on to the agreement that divides the land, there will be no mistaking it.  Those nations will be destroyed.

This is why students of Bible prophecy are always so focused on the ongoing efforts towards a comprehensive Middle East peace plan.  All of the proposed plans involve dividing both Israel and Jerusalem and creating a new nation called "Palestine," within the land covenanted to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  The very nature of the push for a "two-state solution" screams prophecy:

1. It would divide Israel and create "Palestine."  Palestine is not presently a nation and neither has there ever been a country called Palestine, thus Israel is not presently divided (as evidenced by settlements all over Judea and Samaria and Israeli control of the West Bank).

2. It would be an agreement, which in ancient times would be called a covenant.  This covenant would involve the "many"—all of the world's nations, something that has never happened before.  This instantly makes a final "peace" agreement the prime candidate for the seven year covenant confirmed by the antichrist in Daniel 9:27.

3. It would violate the everlasting covenant made with Abraham, thus requiring God's intervention against all the perpetrators, which in this instance would be all the nations of the world (a truly global cataclysm, not just individual judgments against specific nations as in times past like Assyria and Babylon).

Now, we've discussed the division of the land and the everlasting covenant, but there is another covenant that seems to play a role as a catalyst for the Tribulation: the Mosaic covenant.  This covenant was established at Mt. Sinai in order to condemn the whole world under sin until the Seed promised to Abraham was revealed (Christ).  Now that the promised Seed has come, the whole world, condemned under sin, is faced with a single choice: to accept Christ or reject Him (Jn. 3:18).

The laws of the Mosaic covenant are unforgiving.  A single violation makes one guilty of breaking the entirety of the covenant, thus it is a curse and condemns everyone under it, because no one can keep it (except Christ who kept it for us).  This Law is holy and righteous and good (Rom. 7:12) and its standard still stands for those under it (Rom. 3:31), but those who accept God's Messiah—who fulfilled the Law on their behalf—are not under it (Rom. 6:14).  The Law has not been abolished, but fulfilled through Jesus Christ, and those who have faith in Him recognize that He has met all of its requirements for them.

Yet we see in the Tribulation that Israel has returned to the Mosaic covenant in its fullness, complete with Temple and daily sacrifices.  Just a month and a half ago, the Aaronic priesthood dedicated the main altar for the Third Temple, for crying out loud.  By rebuilding the Temple and reinstituting sacrifices, the nation is formally rejecting Christ and placing itself under a curse.  And the curse of breaking the covenant is severe Tribulation (Lev. 26:14–46).  God is opposed to these efforts to bring people under the Law, whether it be in the form of the Hebrew Roots Movement within Christianity (Gal. 2:21; 5:4; Rev. 2:9), or whether it be Israel rebuilding the Temple (Isa. 66:1–6).  Both will bring a curse, and judgment.

Thus, the problem that Israel is about to face is twofold: it will have signed on to break the everlasting covenant with Abraham (dividing the land), but will simultaneously curse itself by bringing the whole nation under the Mosaic Law, which is itself a rejection of the second part of God's everlasting covenant with Abraham: a Seed promised to redeem all of those who trust in the LORD (aka Christ via the gospel).

This twofold rejection of God's promises precipitates the Day of the LORD, otherwise known as the Tribulation, or the Time of Jacob's Trouble.  These are the labor pains variously described in Scripture (Isa. 66:7–9; Jer. 30:1–7; Mt. 24, 1 Thess. 5:3) and Israel is the woman in labor.

Yet God does something miraculous to save Israel.  He causes a nation to be born from her before her labor begins (Isa. 66:7–9).  This heavenly nation is removed from the earth before trouble (Isa. 26:19–21; Rev. 3:10; 12:3–5).  This nation, foolish in the eyes of Israel, is none other than the Church (Deut. 32:20–22; c.f. Rom. 10:19), which is snatched up to Heaven.  When we're gone, Israel will become jealous, which will ultimately lead them to finally recognize that their Messiah is none other than Yeshua—the One who fulfilled the Law for them.  And when they finally have faith in Him, all the spiritual curses are removed and He intercedes to save them from their enemies.

So what's next?

The rapture, the seven-year covenant, and rebuilding the Temple.  As far as I can tell, every piece I've been looking for for many years is in place and we're about to leave.  I can no longer see anything on the horizon that might buy the world more time, except that our loving Creator is patient and slow to anger.  He knows all of those who are His and there are apparently a few more stragglers who need to board the ark.

We live in an intriguing, exciting, but also unsettling time.  It's like when John ate the scroll and it was sweet in his mouth, but bitter in his stomach.  We see the triumph that is so incredibly close for those of us who believe, but we are also being tormented in a world increasingly filled with unspeakable violence and sin.  And we cry out for those we love who are far from God, desperately wishing that they could finally see.

There is once again an Israel with Israelites and the greatest heavenly sign for both the Church and the Jews has transpired.  We truly live at the crossing of the dispensations, but how expansive is that crossing?  It seems that nothing more needs to happen between now and the day we see His face.

When O LORD?  We can't yet see Your face, but have come to the end of the tunnel and see the light's rays breathing in.  Light for us, but greater darkness for those who refuse to believe.

  1. Excellent article thank you Gary. It really puts everything into a timeline allowing us to see the progression and importance of each individual event. It looks like everything has reached the precipice as we wait for our glorious Lord Jesus to arrive to take us home. Blessed Be :)

I very much appreciated when you wrote: "They weren't judgments, they were warnings. When the actual judgment befalls those who sign on to the agreement that divides the land, there will be no mistaking it. Those nations will be destroyed."

So many in the prophetic circle are labeling the disasters exponentially occurring now around the world as "judgments from God" when THEY AIN'T SEEN NUTHIN' YET! I too was in that group until I seriously sought Him about the subject. As you shared, there are 2 judgments related to the world. We've had the judgment by water and the world awaits the future judgment by fire. The timing of INDIVIDUAL judgment is dependent upon your standing with Christ! Praise His Holy Name<3

  7. Beautiful encouragement and beautifully portrayed! Thank you again, Gary. I find myself noting the continuing signs, but no longer fixated. It's as though the cake is baked, the frosting is complete and now the chef is piping on a few flourishes and its time to light the candles. I don't actually know how to describe it - there is no longer a sense of watching as much as - we've seen it and now we wait. Perhaps it's the light rays breathing in the tunnel we've already seen and thus we no longer feel that incessant need to know "how long" because we just sense, feel and know in our spirit it's soon. Peace! Amazing! Blessings - Sherry

  9. Consider this as a hint to the timing. The Church fathers, Barnabas (Paul's companion) and others indicate in their letters to each other that they expect the return of Christ to be in the 6000th year, about 2000 years from the Passion week and resurrection. If that is so, then we still have 6 years to go roughly.
32AD to 2032AD, less 7 years for the Tribulation puts the Rapture in 2025. Of course this is an estimate, I'm just pointing out that perhaps there is still a little more time until we fly. Blessings.

    1. With all due respect, that is pure speculation, my friend...not to mention it doesn’t fit the 70-80 year generation that Moses defined in Ps. 90:10...or that Jesus said "will see everything". Also, we are now in the 70th Jewish Anniversary year, and since God will most certainly bathe the Rapture of the Church in the #70 - denoting perfection and completion - I’d stake my life on the fact that we’re out of here by May 14th. And with Gog and Magog so close to happening...and realizing Trump can’t sign his 7-year Peace Treaty until the Church is Raptured (2 Thessalonians 2:6-8...if I were you, I’d pack my bags NOW. 4. Hi Annabel thank you for sharing about Jubilees. I had not read it before and it is incredible. I also read the book of Enoch recently. What do you think about Jasher, Macabees etc? There is a Bible called the Eth Cepher put together by one of the men who found the Dead Sea Scrolls and he says the books in the Eth Cepher are all the ones found in the caves, that the scottish rite removed certain books no doubt for evil purposes. I'd be curious to know your thoughts on them.

Annabel do you have a blog or facebook site that you teach from? I'd like to follow. Feel free to email me at stevenongteckoh@gmail.com if you'd rather pass on info there rather than here. But I follow these comments through the "notify me" mechanism so if you post here!

    5. Dear SteveOh I'm not with FB but I do post regularly @rev12daily.blogspot on divers topics. I have purchased an Eth Cepher myself after having learned more about the Dead Sea scrolls and apocrypha scriptures. I very much appreciate Dr Stephen Pidgeons teachings on those although I don't always follow his almost 'Hebrew roots' like beliefs. I think this is a personal question from Romans 14 though.

Except Maccabees I have read all of the apocrypha now and can tell from my Spirit that those books in the Eth Cepher must be inspired. I didn't read Maccabees as I'm not native English and they were just too much redundant in bloody war description and difficult to understand for me. It was a mere language issue.

I think if the church would have been taught more on Enoch, Jubilees and Jasher alone our brethren would have a greater understanding of the very meaning of 'Noahs days' endtimes parallel today from Genesis 6. People like brother L.A. Marzulli or Steve Quayle (I'm not sure he's born again though) are very rare but you can get their point then much better. The "big picture" and the vastness of spiritual dimension gets clearer if you're familiar with these ancient books. It's like an all over 'facepalm effect'.

I also like how Steven Ben Nun was interviewing L.A. Marzulli lately, listen to them here: https://youtu.be/NZ2XFl_5qTY

Dr Pidgeon was also a prominent speaker at the last INL conference and I appreciate much of the insights Steven Ben Nun is drawing from these connections.

Blessings to you, brother! MARANATHA! ;-)

15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

  13. Gary, bro, a skillful masterstroke here:

"The laws of the Mosaic covenant are unforgiving. 6:14). The Law has not been abolished, but fulfilled through Jesus Christ, and those who have faith in Him recognize that He has met all of its requirements for them."

The only thing that I would add, and a surprising factor at that, is what Paul says in Romans 8:4. Not only did Jesus fulfill the law's requirements for us, but also according to this verse, the "righteous requirement of the law" is fulfilled in us through the Holy Spirit (cf. Rom. 8:9).

Granted, this still leaves no room for boasting in ourselves [i.e. the flesh], because it is the Holy Spirit in us who fulfills the righteous standard of the law (cf. 2 Cor. 3:3; Jer. 31:33-34; Heb. 10:15-18).

    Awesome and encouraging post!

    1. I do. The historical and genetic evidence is absolutely overwhelming. Tests even show common ancestors between Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jews, which directly undercuts various claims from neo-Nazi and Islamic anti-semites.

You can read a bit here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_ethnic_divisions#Genetic_studies

Yes, Aramaic is still spoken, but it never died nor is it an ancient Canaanite language.

Zionism is simply the recognition that the Holy Land belongs to Jacob and his descendants. It is a basic, biblical principle. Jews are correct for believing in it.

The problem is that Zionism without Christ is nothing. The biblical Zionist ideal will not be fully realized until Israel acknowledges Yeshua.

      Blessings to you.

    1. Exactly. That's the point.

Per the Law David should have been killed for:

      1. Having Uriah murdered.

      2. Committing adultery with Bathsheba.

  17. A LOOK AT SOME DAY COUNTS

There are some interesting day counts popping out from the recent Super Blood Moon.

Billy Graham passing to Super Blood Moon 2019 (333-days)
New Year 2019 to Super Bowl LIII (33-days)
Super Bowl LIII to Spiritual New Year 5779 (33-days)
Super Blood Moon to Super Bowl LIII (333-hours)
Spiritual New Year 5779 to end of Hanukkah 2018 (333-days)

New Year 2019 to Spiritual New Year 5779 (66-days)
Great Sign to Super Blood Moon 2019 (69-weeks)

Super Blood Moon to Spiritual New Year 5779 (1111-hours)
Spiritual New Year 5779 to Fast of Esther 2016 (1111-days)

These are a few day counts that I have hit upon so far. Do they mean anything? Given that there are so many interconnections of significant dates? I believe so.

One more item of interesting surrounding the Spiritual New Year,

    Quoting Torahcalendar.com

"Today the Parashah is Va-Yikra which means "And He Called." Va-Yikra is the Hebrew name for the book of Leviticus. Va-Yikra was the first Parashah of the Spiritual Universe. It will be the first Parashah in the Eternal State - Olam Haba. Today is Shabbat Ha-Chodesh or the "Sabbath of the New Moon." It is the Sabbath on or before the new moon of the first month and reminds us of the special preparations which need to be made for Passover. It is the fourth of four special Sabbaths."

**NOTE: "It is the FOURTH of FOUR special Sabbaths." We all know that the Sabbath was made holy and thus it is the day above all days in our week. (Number 1!) So if we were to count the day above all days of special Sabbaths we would have,

    1 + 1 + 1 + 1 days or written as "||||" if to use tally marks. "1111"

Or am I just seeing things? Oh, did I mention this?

Great Sign to Super Blood Moon 2019 (69-weeks)

I'm still exploring '1111' and '333' as BOTH numbers are values that seem to keep popping up to people. (911, 923, 726 are other values I, as well as others, keep finding)

Here are a few tools to use in performing date calculations,

    Torahcalendar.com
    Timeanddate.com
    Biblehub.com

...and of course the Bible of your choice!

    3 Sing to him a new song;
    play skillfully on the strings,
with loud shouts. (Psalm 33:3 ESV)

33 The LORD's curse is on the
    house of the wicked,
    but he blesses the dwelling
of the righteous. (Proverbs 3:33 ESV)

    3 At the tumultuous noise peoples flee;
    when you lift yourself up,
nations are scattered (Isaiah 33:3 ESV)

3 Call to me and I will answer you,
and will tell you great and
hidden things that you have not
    known. (Jeremiah 33:3 ESV)

3 ...and if he sees the sword coming
upon the land and blows the trumpet
and warns the people, (Ezekiel 33:3 ESV)

33 the son of Amminadab, the son
of Admin, the son of Arni, the
son of Hezron, the son of Perez,
the son of Judah, (Luke 3:33 ESV)

    33 Whoever receives his testimony
sets his seal to this, that God is
    true. (John 3:33 ESV)

These core resources are enough to get you started in study. As always, begin and end with prayer. You may not finish the puzzle but you just might assemble a few pieces!

Keep looking up and share your faith with those whom the LORD gives you today.

    Blessings,

    1. ONE MORE NOTE ON THE SPIRITUAL NEW YEAR

According to Torah Calendar (link above), the Spiritual New Year that begins 5779 includes the following scripture readings,

      Parashah #24 - Scripture Readings

      Va-Yikra (And He Called)
      ====================================
      Torah: Leviticus 1:1-6:7
      Haftarahs: Isaiah 43:21-44:23

Rosh Chodesh - Shabbat Ha-Chodesh (Sabbath on or before Day 1 of Month 1)
      ====================================
      Haftarahs: Ezekiel 45:16-46:18
      Extra Readings: Exodus 12:1-20

I HIGHLY recommend study of these readings, especially those 'Extra Readings' from Exodus,

3 Tell all the congregation of Israel
that on the tenth day of this month
every man shall take a lamb according
to their fathers' houses, a lamb
      for a household.

4 And if the household is too small
for a lamb, then he and his nearest
      neighbor shall take according to
the number of persons; according to
what each can eat you shall make
      your count for the lamb.

This is a picture of when the lamb would be chosen for the Passover. The lamb must be without blemish, a male a year old and may be taken from the sheep or the goats. The lamb must be kept for four days.

Fast-forward now to the Book of Joshua (Yeshua),

19 The people came up out of the
Jordan on the tenth day of the
      first month, and they encamped
at Gilgal on the east border of
      Jericho.

The day Israel crossed the Jordan is the same day that Israel selected a lamb for each family. That is only the beginning. Time and space do not allow to go "all-in" today!

      Blessings, always,

      PR

It's striking that the Torah reading for this day ends with,

7 "And the priest shall make atonement
for him before the LORD, and he
shall be forgiven for any of the
things that one may do and thereby
      become guilty." (Leviticus 6:7 ESV)

  19. Wonderful read, thank you very much Gary. Full confirmation of what I believe as the truth - we are standing at the door to enter or new home forever and exit the world as we know it. Sometimes I stand at awe seeing everybody around me is so earthbound and blind of what is happening right in front of our eyes. I have to put my trust in Jesus that no-one will be left behind that is suppose to be included in the Rapture, especially our close knit family and friends. God knows fully what is within their hearts.
I do ponder sometimes, will we have memory of those who were not part of the Rapture? Surely there will be no sorrow and pain then - so, somehow, either we will not remember, or we will have knowledge of what their faith will turn out.
The hourglass is running rapidly with the final strands of sand and we need to focus on our oil in our lamps and look ahead.....

    1. I think about this too dingeling,
I am pretty sure we will remember our left behind family and friends once we are raptured. I would imagine God would reveal to us that the seeds we planted while on earth will bear fruit.

I imagine we will have a birds eye view of the whole 7 years, it would almost be like tuning into your favourite soap opera every evening to catch up on the happenings of your favourite characters, and we would see the whole story unfold, knowing that a multitude so big it could not be numbered comes to faith in our LORD during that period.

It is horrible to think of family, siblings, parents, children, our neighbors and friends facing into the tribulations period, but I think, they don't yet realise how wonderful our God is, they don't yet realise what pain and sufferings our LORD had to endure in his last days as a human being in order to pay our sin debt and ensure our pathway into heaven. They need to learn this lesson. They need to realise for themselves what a wonderful loving God we have.

I feel so grateful every time I think about it, and even more grateful that he woke me from my spiritual slumber in time for this soon to happen moments event.

    3. Dear Annetjie, in our glorified bodies we will even remember more and better than before in our corruptible ones I assume. But you must consider: we will be "like Jesus" i.e. WITHOUT SIN FOREVER (1 John 3:2) so indeed there will be no more room for 'false pity' for those left behind because in addition we will fully recognize the extent of grace when being with Jesus in person. There will be no need to feel any sorry for those having neglected or rejected His work on the cross to overcome Satan and sin. Please also consider we will need this practical righteousness to be able to judge the nations correctly and unbiased during the millennium. Blessings to you!

  20. More prophetic milestones...

Sorry to post on such a negative and sensitive topic but I feel it could be highly relevant.

You are no doubt familiar with the following (in my own flawed presentation) :
Woe unto those who are with child. And those who give suck in those days.

I always figured this was for a few reasons; meant to be taken in more than one way.

For example if the innocents (under age of accountability) disappear in the rapture then the babies would literally disappear from the womb and disappear from the breastfeeding process/position. (conversely the body would remain but the spirit would leave creating an even more disturbing situation where people think the baby simply died) ... (Again, sorry) I know that one probably won't be popular because we assume the earthly body would disappear as well?

Another 'obvious' meaning could refer to not wanting to be pregnant or breastfeeding when the tribulation events begin to take place...

Now as far as prophecies go...

Recently New York made abortion legal right up until birth. Hence, woe unto those who are with child.

You see, these people implementing these things are very into child sacrifice. Now that this law is in place, people, doctors, etc... can make split decisions left and right to kill EVEN WANTED BABIES. It does not necessarily have to be the choice of the mother.

I would watch out for them allowing the mother or other such [social services] to 'terminate' the baby in the first several weeks/months as well. All under the guise of welfare/bad parenting/mental issues/unable to cope or provide/victim of rape, etc... Then the breastfeeding part would also be fulfilled.

Just a thought I had. Sorry it's touchy.
I understand if I don't get a reply here. It always seems to go that way.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Anon, When they did that in New York, I was shocked and horrified that people actually thought it was good. I fear judgement is coming on that one...there is a little town right outside of NYC called New Babylon. Scary stuff.
Here is another thought I had on the prophecy involving babies-remember an article posted recently about how the wealthy are purchasing young people's blood to drink at 8000 dollars a pint? They say it rejuvenates them like a beauty product. What if, and this is horrible, but what if they want younger blood...cheaper. How could they get it? Kidnapping babies and mother's nursing to drain babies blood? Im really horrified about the sickness in today's world. I want to be safe with our father Abba protected from this increasingly wicked world. However, we shall occupy until then.

      Delete
    2. Yes they are 100% into this "young blood" process. The drinking I think is to make it sound vampiric when for the most part they are putting it in their bodies through a more 'medical' means. Thanks for the reply. I later saw someone else in the comments put together this 'dragon waiting to devour the child when it's born' angle on rev12daily. Tge timing of course running concurrently with the images in the sun.

      Delete
    3. Dear Anon I agree about the snatching away of living babies and toddlers in the rapture but I don't agree with you about the unborn ones; they will go into tribulation with their mothers. God knows how he can protect them on earth. Please consider every little one who dies before the age of accountability goes straight to Heaven! That's how God fills His place with more little saints so they are not lost! Always remember His thoughts are higher than ours... Blessings to you!

    4. I think it is scriptural that our bodies go in the rapture as well. 1 Corinthians 4:16 says "And the dead in Christ will rise first." What can be raised but their mortal dead bodies? Paul already said in verse 14 of the same chapter "God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus." That has to refer to their soul and spirit which only leaves their bodies to be raised. I have a 3 year old and a one year old and trying for another so I think about this also.

    5. Not sure what to say about Annabel reply... First it assumes the mother is going through the tribulation... But what if she's raptured? The baby automatically goes. Second, the verse seems to describe a similar experience for mothers who are breastfeeding and mothers who are with child. If the same reason for woe applies to both babies/mothers then wouldn't it mean that they would have the same fate? (in this case, get taken in the rapture?)...

As for unknown: I thought it's possible that we get raised/taken up "in the spirit" as happens in the Bible many times. I never found it clear whether our bodies disappear or just lay there, seemingly dead... (the consensus and graphic portrayals hover around disappearing completely... but then the mother would suddenly have an empty belly...and the breastfeeding child would disappear. Conversely she would have a seemilgly deceased baby body in the womb and the breastfeeding mom could suddenly also have a seemingly deceased baby...)

      Delete
    6. There's a pastor named Robert Breaker who mentions the possibility that since flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, all our blood will be left behind when we ae raptured...so a big pile of blood and clothes could be what is left! Hahaha what a mess. I personally think we will just disappear leaving maybe our clothes. I think if there's blood and guts it will look like we were all killed/obliterated but I don't want people to think we are all dead.

      Delete
    7. Anon, I would tend to agree with you on your view that the babies in the womb would be raptured, and the unsaved woman would have an instant mis-carriage. They are little people, completely without sin.

So I would defo expect embyro's, 9 monther's & all innocent children to go in the rapture, God would not want harm to come to them during the Tribulation.

And what better way to bring an unsaved mother and father to their knees in broken hearted despair, seeking God and comfort, than for their little baby who they had spend months preparing for, and were expecting any moment to suddenly disappear without trace from her womb. That event will bring so many people to God alone.

I also agree with you Steve Oh,
That would be horrible if a big pile of blood and guts and corpses were left behind.
If the dead bodies will rise 1st, and then the alive believers will put on incorruptible bodies, to me that paints the picture that the bodies are coming in the rapture, and everyone left behind has to figure out where they all disappeared to.. I'm sure Satan and his army of anti-christs will have his/their excuses ready.

  21. I should add that most prophecies I've come across seem to have a triple meaning/fulfillment at the very least...

So I'm not ruling out other interpretations. Just more signs of the times is what I was attempting to get across.

  22. https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/02/infanticide_is_legal_in_the_united_states.html

If you read that article you will note that some states want to do the same but... also have the law state that they can kill the baby as its being delivered.

I think you know where I'm going with this... The 'beast system' wants to devour the baby as soon as it is born...

Lastly the article also states that if the mother changes her mind just after the baby is born, they can all just let the baby die there 'on the table'.

I should also add that part of my reasoning for wondering about this is that I have a one year old baby and another in the womb. So you could say I have a vested interest in the outcome of my above posts as well.

Sorry for the graphic nature of the conversation

  24. Gary and family - I have a question/thought I'd like to throw on the table and would love your feedback. This has been in my spirit since your previous excellent post entitled "The Law". I agree absolutely with everything you've posited. That's not my point, but since that post I've had a new awareness I can't shake so I'd like thoughts on whether I've interpreted wrongly your clearly written post and God's clearly written Word. My take-away is, "If your 'Belief in Jesus' is diluted or conditioned in any way upon your own ability to continue in and fulfill part or some or all of The Law, as is the case with OBSERVANT Messianics and Hebrew Roots, then you will be Left Behind at the Rapture and must come to absolute faith in Mashiach and His shed Blood Atonement ALONE while not taking the Mark of the Beast or Worshiping the Beast." Breath - it hurts my heart even to type it. However, if I have deduced it clearly and understand your interpretation as well, wouldn't the two named groups not be the most likely candidates to be or at least be included in the 144,000? Oddly enough, Hebrew Roots teaches a Post Tribulation Rapture which is without merit, however, that's their position because they simply don't study the Rapture and can't seem to mentally separate themselves in their own understanding from Israel dispensationally. I realize this is run-on, hard to understand and somewhat strange, but I've come to the conclusion the only way to put it to rest in my own heart and mind, because I have beloved friends in both those camps, is to put it out here for the family to chew on and seek the Father about. Blessings to All and Prayers for Discernment and Wisdom. BTW - my appeals against the law as any part of salvation have fallen on absolutely deaf ears (part of the judgement of Israel?) 1. Hey Sherry,

I'm fully convinced that salvation is by faith alone. However, I don't necessarily agree with some of those who believe you must have a perfect understanding of doctrines like sola fide and OSAS to be saved by faith alone.

I'm leery of both behavior legalism, as well as intellectual legalism, if that makes sense and posted about that here: #6 under "Rightly Dividing (Again)"

God requires genuine faith, but not perfect faith. And that genuine faith could be a mustard seed. There are many people who truly believe the gospel, but are confused by the enemy.

Remember, the gospel isn't "if you believe in faith alone you will be saved." It's "if you believe Christ died for your sins and rose again you will be saved."

In other words, if someone has genuine conviction and trust in God's ability to save them because of what Christ did on the cross, I believe they can have misunderstandings and be saved.

I'm convinced there will even be many in the R.C.C. raptured.

All that said, there are also a great many people in the H.R.M., R.C.C., and other sects who truly only give lip-service to the gospel. Their actual faith is in themselves and their ability to perform/obey/meet certain conditions. They will not be raptured and in order to be saved will need to come to saving knowledge of the truth during the Tribulation and "wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb."

I hope that all makes sense. The gospel is very simple and I dare not add understanding systematic doctrine to it like OSAS, sola fide, etc. Those doctrines are true, but do not constitute the gospel that must be believed. Surely a much larger proportion of people in denominations that correctly handle Scripture will be rapture-ready, but I have no doubt I will meet Christians in Heaven coming from virtually every denomination.

Martin Luther is such an example. He almost single-handedly brought the ancient doctrine of justification by faith back into common parlance and himself was a firm believer in it as evidenced by tons of his literature. Yet he also believed water baptism was necessary. Not as a "work," but as the avenue through which one receives the benefit of the atonement through faith alone. He believed both, and was confused, but he was not confused about what the gospel itself was. I once believed as he did.

      Blessings.

    3. Thank you Gary, that does give me some peace back. When I read "The Law", I incorrectly inferred you were saying that by "adding anything to" as in, yes I'm saved by Faith in Christ, but I also have to keep the law that was disqualifying. Now I know why God has given me no peace about this. I was just heartbroken for my friends, though they won't listen, for I know that I know they believe in Jesus Christ and His Blood Atonement, but they also believe they HAVE TO do x, y, and z. It's been very distressing, so God just wouldn't give me peace. I had always believed and felt I understood they'd be ripped out of here totally surprised . . . but then I began to be worried and I couldn't reconcile it with His mercy. Anyway, I shall rest better tonight. I should have just known . . . God's got this!
      Blessings - Sherry

    4. Gary, I totally agree with you. Think of John 10:28-29 alone, there's NO "doctrine" whatsoever mentioned AT ALL but just how Jesus WILL take care of His sheep and keep them under any circumstances, bringing them ALL home into Heaven safely without getting any of them lost. Again, it's not about the sheep having understood or acknowledged the very reason and doctrinal depths of their own salvation but it's ALL ABOUT GOD doing ALL the work no matter what. Blessings to you, MARANATHA!

    5. Hi Sherry~I was moved to chime in here and want to agree with Gary and Annabel. No believer's standing on doctrine alone is going to affect their salvation ONLY whether they have truly made Yahshuah HaMoshiach, Jesus Christ, the Lord of their life OR NOT (Romans 10:9-10). This is the only way the Holy Spirit identifies and seals us. Head knowledge of Jesus Christ does not save, accepting Him as Lord in our heart is what saves us.

      Delete
    6. Such great truth, Gary, and well expressed! I think you summed it up perfectly. Indeed, I’m pretty sure if perfect understanding and perfect doctrine were required for salvation, none of us would make it. We grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus and His Word and won’t have it down perfectly until we’re out of these old “earth suits” and have perfect hearts and minds. Praise God for His grace and mercy for us, even as we “see through a glass darkly” on this earth.

    7. Thank you All - that is what I have always believed and stood on - telling, but not being concerned overly about them. Then I misread Gary's post and thought I was missing something. Now, I'm back to where I've always been and much relieved. I won't stop pounding on them about Sole Fide and OSAS, but at least now my threats will be heartfelt they'll be ripped out in the Rapture and lose rewards rather than living through the Trib. Boy, I didn't mean to raise a ruckus, but I needed the Fam to help me get my peace back! Blessings and Much Love and Gratitude to you All! Sherry

    8. Hi Sherry,

Romans 11 came to mind in your question of grace,

2 God has not rejected his people
whom he foreknew. Do you not know
what the Scripture says of Elijah,
how he appeals to God against
      Israel?

3 "Lord, they have killed your
      prophets, they have demolished
your altars, and I alone am left,
      and they seek my life."

4 But what is God's reply to him?
"I have kept for myself seven
thousand men who have not bowed
      the knee to Baal."

5 So too at the present time there
is a remnant, chosen by grace.

6 But if it is by grace, it is no
longer on the basis of works; otherwise
grace would no longer be grace.

      (Romans 11:2-6 ESV)

I too agree with Gary. The way of Love is the way in which I believe.

8 Love never ends. As for prophecies,
they will pass away; as for tongues,
they will cease; as for knowledge,
      it will pass away.

9 For we know in part and we
      prophesy in part,

10 but when the perfect comes, the
      partial will pass away.

      (1 Corinthians 13:8-10 ESV)

12 For now we see in a mirror
dimly, but then face to face.
Now I know in part; then I shall
know fully, even as I have been
      fully known.

      (1 Corinthians 13:12 ESV)

    2. Hi Loretta,

I'm not sure what/who you mean by "Israel's Mc Jesus" as we missed the beginning of the game but yes, we saw, and have seen others who made prophetic connections in the game. A couple of items that caught my attention were the winning touchdown (and extra point) made at 7:00 in the 4th quarter to given New England a ten (10) point lead. Also, 31-year old Devin and Jason McCourty were the first twins in Super Bowl history to play as teammates. Symbolic of 9/11 being literal twin towers in their own right.

Notable too is the swarm of earthquakes that struck off the coast of California on Sunday. 10 of them at last report.

      More data points...

    4. I honestly think abortion is about blood sacrifice. Our leaders, religious too if u consider the Pope, openly have indicated they are in contact with other beings. In the past other beings /"gods" required blood, usually of children. And now we see the later the better to abort. Why would our leaders be so gleeful about the murder of Innocents? It's interesting that at this late hour there is a push to murder a fully formed baby.

      SUPER BOWL SYMBOLS (IMHO)

I have wondered on the potential symbolism of the Patriots as personifying the world and coming beast system via Colonial and Revolutionary War imagery verses the Ram as representative of the sacrificial Ram (Christ) given in (Genesis 22:13). Part of me wonders if they are representative to two systems, two choices, two destinations and a time to come? The world/beast system, or Christ the Lord?

Remember, when was the last time the Rams and Patriots played in the Super Bowl? Seventeen years ago, right after 9/11. What was the departure point and destination of two of the flights hijacked on September 11, 2001? Boston to LA. The parallels and data points go on and on in this regard. Too many to list here.

We know that in the times of trouble to come that the AC will hold power over all; even the new church born out of the Tribulation. May Boston's victory over LA be symbolic of that? The Ram's defence prevented the Patriot's of scoring a touchdown up until the end. May this be representative of a restraining force removed, or only provided for a time? Do the earthquakes that struck that day off the California coast, as in other championship games between Boston and LA of the past, foretell of the times to come? Is there a link between 9/11, judgement and the McCourty twins? (Twin brothers both players for the Patriots? Twin towers?) One may even see a hinting at the two witnesses yet to come of Revelation 11? (Twin powers/judgements?)

      I don't know. I have a fertile imagination.

Trying to take such meaning out of one football game is dangerous. It is too easy to "see" things that are not there when one has a pension for patterns. It's easy to find meaning when you are looking for one. Better it is to look at data points and consider them against a larger sample of data points across time.

If there is a prophetic meaning behind Super Bowl LIII it should come out in light of other (non-related) events given in time; thus being part of a larger picture that point us toward God in Christ.

I would take this to the LORD in prayer and see if He leads you in study. But as I have examined the testimony of other watchmen and their findings, I can often dig on them and expand on them at the prompting of the Spirit.

Personally, I believe everyday holds a key that points us to the coming Day.

  31. I had a piece of text JUMP OUT AT ME this morning in my study of Matthew 27,

    51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

    52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose;

53 And came out of the graves *AFTER HIS RESURRECTION*, [emphasis mine] and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. (Matthew 27:51-53 KJV)

27.51 AND BEHOLD THE CURTAIN OF THE TEMPLE WAS TORN FROM ABOVE TO BELOW IN TWO AND THE EARTH WAS SHAKEN AND THE ROCKS WERE SPLIT.

27.52 AND THE TOMBS WERE OPENED AND MANY BODIES OF THE SAINTS~HAVING FALLEN ASLEEP WERE RAISED.

27.53 AND HAVING GONE OUT FROM THE TOMBS *AFTER THE RESURRECTION OF HIM* [EMPHASIS MINE] THEY ENTERED INTO THE HOLY CITY AND THEY APPEARED TO MANY. (MATTHEW 27:51-53 GREEK NT)

    51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split;

    52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;

53 and coming out of the graves *after His resurrection*, [EMPHASIS MINE] they went into the holy city and appeared to many. (Matthew 27:51-53 NKJV)

AFTER THE RESURRECTION really caught my eye. I had always considered this to be a real-time event with the crucifixion of Christ; but now I am wondering if this is instead not just a resurrection/rapture reference but a reference to the two witnesses from (John 11),

3 "And I will grant authority to my
two witnesses, and they will prophesy
for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth."

4 These are the two olive trees and
the two lampstands that stand before
    the Lord of the earth.

    John continues...

6 They have the power to shut the
sky, that no rain may fall during
the days of the prophesying, and
they have the power over the
waters to turn them into blood
and to strike the earth with
every kind of plague, as often
    as they desire.

May it be that it is these two "olive trees", these "lampstands" that stand in the presence of the Lord of the earth that are spoken of in Matthew 27:53 rise and enter Jerusalem on the heels of the Rapture?

Given that both Elijah (taken by God) and Moses (taken and buried by the hand of God) represent pillars of the church...they would fit being represented as lampstands standing before the LORD. It totally fits as they are not currently of this earth, they are in the presence of God. John testifies that the LORD walks among the golden lampstands and that both Elijah and Moses may be identified as (cultivated) olive trees and thus are Jews before the LORD.

The words *AFTER HIS RESURRECTION* really caught me today. That portion of scripture always caught me as being *odd* and now I know why. It's such a wonderful find. Such a wonderful moment!

Sharing this in case it was a blessing to others in prayerful study.

    Happy hunting,

    Pastor Rich

    1. Good thought PR, i was forever wondering about those who supposedly came up and out of the graves ? after Jesus died on the cross?,...they appeared to many, and then what?

      Delete
    2. Exactly!

Yes, many of the dead, sleeping saints, were raised after Jesus died on the cross but the question is exactly when? After Jesus rose on the third day...but that *after* could just as well be at the resurrection/rapture and not immediately after His resurrection or during the 40 days that Christ was on earth before His ascension. This requires some study into the language of these passages.

I suspect that the timing of these events are not concurrent. I suspect the Biblical narrative gives us a cause and effect in that these things now happen as a result of Christ giving up His Spirit, both present and future, and point to the resurrection/rapture.

This is most interesting to me as I look at the two witnesses of Revelation 11.

Much more prayerful study to be done on this!

    4. Pastor Rick...Your insight on these bodies coming out of the graves caused me to pause....These people resurrected just never fit in my fledgling Bible studied mind, and I just wrote it off as to learn later.

But what you say makes sense. It would seem that these bodies would arise right when the graves were opened, but these graves opened upon Christ giving up the ghost. "After the resurrection" so fits with not until now. It's worded exactly correct , but in a way to make one study.
I believe it is another flash forward in time between verses.

In my opinion, these graves that were opened up will arise at the "last day" as John 6:39...John 6:40...John 6:44....and John 6:54 says.

Also later in John 11:24...Martha says to Jesus about her brother Lazarus...."I know he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day."

Your insight now beautifully fits in my mind these resurrected bodies going into Jerusalem ...
Back to Matthew 27:52.."And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

Pause right there....this has Daniel 12:2 getting my attention.."And many of them that sleep in the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

The ones awakening to everlasting life would be those in the graves that were opened upon Jesus giving up his ghost, but not until you so brilliantly pointed out "after his resurrection"......AND those saints in the graves right now and up to the LAST day when the first resurrection happens.

The second resurrection is of course after the millennium when the other part of those asleep in Daniel 12:2 cone to life, only to find shame and everlasting contempt.

Thank you for cleaning up this area I just had given up to not being smart enough to figure out.

AND...now when Matthew 27:53 says.."and went into the holy city , and appeared unto many."....I now see this as them coming back with Christ and His armies in heaven as he splits the Mount of Olives and those saints now go into Jerusalem and appear unto many!!

      This so fits!!

    6. I always understood that the graves opened after Jesus rose because these were the captives Jesus set free after He preached to them in Abraham's Bosom during the 3 1/2 days that Jesus was in hell. He led the captives in His train. But as we know the Bible is replete with dual fulfillments.

  34. An article of personal interest,

The government shutdown ended after only 10 air traffic controllers stayed home

    Quoting, CNN,

"On January 24, it seemed like the partial government shutdown would go on forever, leaving more than 800,000 federal workers in unpaid limbo. But on January 25 -- the 35th day of the longest-ever federal shutdown -- something changed: 10 air traffic controllers decided to stay home."

"The absence of those few workers -- six in northern Virginia and four in Florida, numbers not previously reported -- temporarily shut down travel at New York's La Guardia airport and caused delays at other major hubs, including in New Jersey, Philadelphia and Atlanta."

I grew up in an aviation family as my father was an Air Traffic Controller and a Commercial Pilot. Flying and ATC was our way of life, thus the US Government shut-down has hit close to home in our hearts. (Not to mention our friends who are directly impacted as government workers in the US!)

    2. FEBRUARY 11, 2021

On the morning of 2/11/21 Jupiter and Venus will be in such a close conjunction that they may appear to touch. That day will begin with the rise of Saturn in the head of Capricornus and Jupiter/Venus right behind it at the shoulder of Capricornus. The Sun and New Moon will follow right behind the three as they are in the tail of Capricornus. Mercury is also in view above both the ecliptic and the Moon.

Also in the skies, Mars and Uranus are at the feet of Aries. Neptune is still in the out pouring of Aquarius.

Saturn, Jupiter and Venus may be visible very low on the horizon just minutes ahead of the Sun. They are all rather close to one another so low clouds or other visual obstructions would ruin the view easily. Viewers should hope for clear skies and high ground.

These are easy to find via FREE astronomical software. I HIGHLY recommend trying out different packages to see which one(s) you like. I have been using Sky Guide 7.1.1 (350) from Fifth Star Labs LLC for iPhone and have been happy with the results it brings.

  36. I’ve heard various people wonder why America is not mentioned in the time of tribulation. Here are some of my thoughts.

Donald Trump has put lots of Christians into position of power, at the time of the rapture America will be reeling from the loss of many people who hold significant positions of leadership.

What happens if Mike Pence and Donald Trump were to both “disappear” one today along with millions of others worldwide?

How would those left behind cope in the aftermath in America? There will be a massive void. Yes the void will be eventually be filled by AC system but there will be a period where I believe that America would be incapacitated. It certainly won’t be in a position to go sort out the rest of the world if it is suddenly thrown into chaos at home.

My personal theory is at the time of the rapture there could be a number of events happening worldwide and people won’t know where to go, what to think or what to believe. Possible onset of Ezekiel 38 too.

With Christians out of the way there will no longer be the evangelicals in America calling for the protection of Israel.

    So the combination of:
    - loss of key Christian leaders
    - natural disaster
    - removal of Christians
    Will leave America reeling.

As we have seen so many birth pangs in recent years, months, weeks and days it could very well be that at the time of the rapture there will be volcanoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, tornadoes and who knows what else happening simultaneously.

Lastly, I believe that America isn’t mentioned simply because it was not one of the nations involved in Jewish history. I believe that part of the tribulations is God keeping his covenant with Israel and settling old scores with the nations round about Israel.

In a sense it may be that God is taking America out of the equation and protecting her for her stand with Israel.

Here in the UK there has been a massive increase in awareness of vegans and the cruelty surrounding modern farming methods.

How sick that people will get upset about the treatment of anilmals whilst saying that abortion is ok.

Factor in to this the fact that Israel wants to rebuild the temple and also wants to go back to sacrificing animals. Sounds like yet another reason for other nations to hate on Israel and increase the growing tide of antisemitisim world wide.

Lastly, just want to say how much I love your articles. You are all such a blessing thank you. God bless

    3. Good question! That is weird. Now you got me wondering...

That would place Pesach in month two of the Spiritual calendar and that doesn't make sense. Pesach is commanded as the 14th day of the first month. (M1D14)

6 and you shall keep it until the
      fourteenth day of this month,
when the whole assembly of the
      congregation of Israel shall kill
      their lambs at twilight.

      (Exodus 12:6 ESV)

This begins Pesach (Passover) and Hag HaMatzah (Feast of Unleavened Bread) which is observed seven days until M1D21. It has to fall close to the Spring Equinox to keep the rest of the calendar aligned and this year the Equinox falls the day before Pesach.

One more thing to dig on?
