  6. I have been doing some study of the Pre, Mid, and Post tribulation theories in the Bible. While, I have never really believed in the Post tribulation up and down elevator that Christians would experience if the Rapture occurs just before the physical return of Christ to earth, certain passages have confused me in the past. However, today I think I found a passage that puts to bed the Post tribulation Rapture theory.

In 2 Thessalonians 6-11 the Bible states:
6 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might 10 on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.

Therefore, when Jesus physically returns on the Day of the Lord and appears in the sky EVERY Christian that has ever lived will be able to witness His return. "10 on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among ALL those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you."

Therefore, all the dead Christians from antiquity until today will be present to see the coming of our Lord. This cannot be if Christ comes in the sky in glory PRIOR to raising the dead in Christ and transforming those still alive. Therefore, it seems that the mystery Rapture must happen at some point prior. I have always been a pre-trib guy but with an open mind as I do not possess the mind of my Creator.
