11 year old boy missing from Springhill, Tennessee

story

Where is he?  This boy.  Who took him?  Why?  Is he okay?  Is he being molested?  Hurt?  Tortured?  Is he dead?

What of his family?  Cannot imagine the heartache, fear, shock and horror.  Cannot imagine.

Prayers flowing like an ocean to VERY GOD OF VERY GOD.

no answer - yet.

Is God dead?  Has He forgotten?  Is He incapable?

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.  2 Peter 3:9 (NASB)
Behold, the Lord’s hand is not so short
That it cannot save;
Nor is His ear so dull
That it cannot hear.
But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God,
And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.
Isaiah 59:1-2 (NASB)
God is plenty capable.  His hearing is fine.
He sees everything.
He is everywhere.
He is all powerful.
He is Mighty to Save.

His word tells us that His rescue of the church from this earth is not when His tolerance for evil has reached its zenith, but when everyone has heard.  7 billion reasons why He ought to come back right now in great wrath and send all of us to the abyss.

Billions of reasons before September 17th, 2013 to have come back and cast all of us into indescribable blackness and death.

But God so loved that He gave...
God is not slow as some count slowness...

How much agony and horror has happened before this day and yet God is patient.  The amount of suffering that God allows so that one can know Him and have eternal peace and rest in Him is staggering.

The debt of gratitude each of us owe to the billions who have suffered mightily before us is mind numbing.

God will rescue.  God will save.  God will execute perfect judgement.

No one who can see Him clearly - face-to-face, has any regrets about putting their hope in Him.

In You our fathers trusted;
They trusted and You delivered them.
To You they cried out and were delivered;
In You they trusted and were not disappointed.
Psalm 22:4-5 (NASB)

He is good all day long and His love endures forever.

Praise Him in the pain.
Praise Him in the darkness.
Praise Him through the fear.
Praise Him in the brokenness.
Let the earth praise Him.
Praise Him all the Sun, Moon and Stars.
Let all the living creatures praise Him.
Let everything that has breath praise His name.

For there is none like Him.
None beside Him.
He is from age-to-age the same.
His going forth is as certain as the dawn.
He is a friend to sinners.
He never leaves us or forsakes us.
Who can fathom the height, depth, length and width of His love and mercy?
HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is HIS Name.

Word of GOD.

There is none like Him.
None beside Him.
He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
He is a help in time of trouble.

He has sealed us as His own possession with His own blood.
What can separate us from His love?
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We are not our own, we were bought with a price.

We were baptized into the name of The Father, The Son and The HOLY Spirit.  Title is transferred.

He has summoned us by name and we are His.

So pray for that boy, but do not let the darkness block the view of Him.  Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
Staring at the darkness bring fear.  Keep your focus on Him.  No matter what comes.  Turn your eyes upon Him....
Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”
