Canary Islands

Given all the thoughts that:

1. The Rapture is at Rosh Hoshanna (year unknown).
2. War is about to break out in the Middle East.
3. Scripture is about to be fulfilled.

I am particularly sensitive to the various "birth pangs".  Fire & Drought are widespread.  Hostility against The Church has become widespread, Russia, China, Iran, Saudi, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, ...  Earthquake, Economic collapse..........................

Ezekiel 39:1-6 (ASV)

And thou, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal:
and I will turn thee about, and will lead thee on, and will cause thee to come up from the uttermost parts of the north; and I will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel;
and I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy hordes, and the peoples that are with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
Thou shalt fall upon the open field; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.
And I will send a fire on Magog, and on them that dwell securely in the isles; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

There is some thought that all of these verses may be fulfilled at about the same time, although some seem to think that the Ezekiel 38-39 battle of Gog and Magog comes later.

Also Ezekiel 39:6 "isles" is often translated "coastlands".  Regardless the Canary Islands Volcano could cause a massive tsunami / tidal wave that would impact coastlines throughout the Atlantic.

Interesting that people are fleeing the Canary Islands in large numbers.  Our compassionate God would want to clear the island before unleashing / allowing the Island to explode.

No one really knows where Jonah was heading when he took off for Tarshish, however one popular thought was Spain.

The warnings do seem to be from Nineveh (Iraq) to Tarshish (Spain) and everywhere in between and beyond.

Who knows, it is certainly a big stretch, but we know that there is purpose in many things that occur.

Keep looking up, your redemption draws near and it appears to be right at the door.
