The Paris Agreement
As you may now have heard, all the nations of the earth have come together and ratified a worldwide "climate change" agreement - The Paris Agreement.
I don't want to get into whether or not global warming is human-caused. Personally, I think not. But I do want to point out how utterly ignorant this whole thing is.
1. Opposing science has mounted over the past few years, so now "global warming" proponents can't even call it "global warming" anymore. It's now just called "climate change". What does that even mean? Doesn't the climate always change (snow, rain, hurricanes, wind, temperature, etc)?
2. This whole charade was very much a Tower of Babel moment. Out of many, one. We can do it ourselves. We don't need God. We will save ourselves. We will save our planet. Consider President Obama's own comments on this historic agreement: " 'I believe this moment can be a turning point for the world,' Obama said, calling the agreement 'the best chance we have to save the one planet that we've got.' " No mention of actual threats to the world like ISIS, a nuclear Iran, escalations between Russia and NATO, or unstoppable collapsing demographic trends due to abortion. Certainly no mention of the true last hope for humanity - Jesus Christ. The world is in turmoil and dying, not because of a purported "climate change" bogeyman, but because of humanity's sin (see Hosea 4:1-3 and Romans 8:19-22). We are now reaching the point of no return when God Himself must intervene as He did in Genesis 6.
3. This agreement sets up actual international rules and regulations that will have widespread control over government and business. One major step forward towards the antichrist's global government.
