Star Of David Discovered In Ancient Egypt
Two engravings of the Star of David have been discovered in southern Egypt, dating from the 3rd Century BC. It has caused a huge uproar among anti-Semitic Egyptian authorities, with Egypt accusing German archaeologists of forging the engravings. However this is only an accusation and has not been proven. An investigation has been launched and Egyptian authorities will not like the inevitable conclusions if these symbols are authentic:
1. More proof of an ancient Jewish presence in Egypt
2. The authenticity of the Star of David (it is currently believed the Star of David dates no earlier than from the Middle Ages)
