What's The Hubbub All About?

Intro

Of late many of us have been enthralled with the heavily reported Revelation 12 Sign.  As the day nears and the conversations with friends and family grow more pointed and urgent the need for recap and introduction becomes more important.  We intend to have more Left Behind letters on Unsealed, but here is a good primer.

There is much in prophecy, in the precision of creation and the precision of the Word that screams that God is who He says He is.  Unsealed provides just a very light and sparing overview of a few highlights.  I have provided a link or two, but for each point below there is much more material available from many different sources of wide and varied backgrounds.

At Jesus' first appearing there were many prophecies (proclamations about what will happen in the future) fulfilled.  This topic has been widely written about over the centuries and different prophetic accountings have been provided, but essentially something like 60 prophecies were fulfilled and referenced in roughly 300 different passages.  See Here and Here.

Chief among these was the Daniel 9 prophecy, that foretold the exact date of Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem 483 years prior - Here

Another favorite can be found in Genesis 49:10, explained here by the highly esteemed Dr. Chuck Missler.

In addition to the 300, there are a host of others not specific to the Messiah's first appearing. Everything from Joseph's fulfilled dreams to Judah's return from Babylon after 70 years in captivity.

There are over eight times as many prophecies about what is still to come and they have much to say about right now. See Here.

The big prophetic stumble

Many in Christendom have choked by this point (if they even made it this far).  "No one knows the day or the hour," they cry, and they're stopped dead in their tracks.  Would that they would study the prophets.  Frustrating that they will not read, will not study and will not suffer anyone who would try to tell them what's in the book.  If this is you, these verses may help.

Jesus' words to Nicodemus in John 3 are a reminder.  He was the elder statesman and perhaps the most revered man in his time, yet he didn't get it.  Don't be too discouraged Nicodemus, your peers didn't get it either.  See Matthew 16.  Of course they should have read, studied and known what to watch for, but they didn't.

Hebrews 10:23-25 (NASB) Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

1 Thessalonians 5:4-6 (NASB) But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.

Revelation 3:3 (NASB) So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.

Amos 3:7 (NASB) Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets. [We should be those who see, who are aware, who are watching and who are awake.]

He intends for us to see.  He always shares knowledge freely for those who hunger and thirst to know Him.

James 1:5 (NASB) But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

No one knows the day or the hour

Matthew 24:36 (NASB)

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

This verse may be the most misunderstood in all of the Bible and the cause of many to stop and look no further.

Christ didn't say that you can't know anything about the time of the end.  He didn't say that you can't know what will happen or what to look for and so don't try.  He just told us in the preceding verse that He expects we will know.

God's appointed days - The Moedim

Some background from Leviticus 23 and for deeper study - see more from Dr. Missler.

God has 7 appointments on His annual calendar that are elevated and holy.

  1. 3 in the spring
  2. 1 in the early summer
  3. 3 in the fall

Christ fulfilled the first 3 at His first appearing.

  1. Passover - Christ was the once for all perfect sacrificial lamb.  Once for all - sin was paid.  He died at 3 pm on Passover, just as the lambs were being slaughtered for sin.  Tetelestai "it is finished" were the words of Christ.  No longer is the sacrificial system needed.  Once for all paid in full.  It is finished indeed.
  1. Unleavened bread - Yeast is alive.  During the Exodus the Jews were instructed to bake unleavened (no yeast) bread.  Flat - baked - dead.  Jesus was flat - crucified - dead (unleavened) in the tomb.  Yeast (a symbol for sin) puffs up as does sin.  No longer do we eat our bread in silence realizing that we are saturated with sin. Reminded of a line from Don Francisco - Adam.
  1. First Fruits - Easter Sunday.  He is Risen.  He is Risen Indeed.  He who was dead is alive again and so are we who have submitted to dying to ourselves and being raised to walk in new life with Him.  Death is defeated.  The Grave has been overcome.

Summer

  1. Pentecost (50 days) - Just as 50 days after the Exodus the Israelites were at Mount Sinai, God set up His covenant and gave the 10 commandments to Moses, so too in Acts 2 in the New Testament did the Spirit come and conceive the New Testament church. Here and Here (in Exodus 32:28 and Acts 2:41 are some fascinating parallels)

Fall (we'll do these backwards)

  1. The Feast of Tabernacles - In this week long celebration people live in tents to remember when God dwelt among us in a tent.  We long for a time when we are no longer separated by sin and God once again makes His dwelling place among us.  This will happen again at the end of the millennial reign of Christ when all things are made new.

Revelation 21:3-4

And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”

  1. Big big day #6 - The Day of Atonement (Judgement Day).  This solemn occasion occurs one week after The Feast of Trumpets.  One week (group of 7 years) from now, Christ will be back to rule with a rod of iron.  A thousand years later at the end of 7,000 years of creation, we find this event.  The White Throne judgement.  People judged on their own merit against God's perfect HOLY standard and not using Christ's substitutionary perfect sacrifice.   This is found in Revelation 20:11-15:

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

  1. The fulfillment that's right in front of us.  The Feast of Trumpets. Also called Rosh Hashanah or The Day No One Knows.  This is the Fall harvest.  This begins with the sighting of a new moon.  That first sliver of moonlight.  When you're watching for a new moon you know it is soon, but never the day or the hour.  Will it be today or tomorrow?   Can we see it because of rain or cloud cover?  In Matthew 24, Jesus was using a common expression to say He would come back for His bride, the Church at the Fall harvest, when the sickle is laid low to the ground.  Of course we don't know the day or the hour, but we seek to tell you that we can know the season, we can know what to watch for and we may even have a strong inclination on the year.

Signs (list prepared by Greg's wise sister, Rebekah!  She is a blessing, dearest friend and encouragement.)

  1. The big super sign.  Israel is back!  No country in the history of the planet has been reconstituted and certainly not after two millennia.  When in Matthew 24 Christ predicted the diaspora (the dispersion of the Jewish race) and the destruction of the temple, He was of course spot on.  God said many times that He would regather Israel a second time.  He did that on May 14th, 1948.  In Ezekiel 4 God said it would happen 2,520 years to the day before it did - Koinonia House
  2. The 6 day war of 1967, 19 years after the retaking of Israel.  This retaking is a parallel to the loss of Judah, the loss of Jerusalem and the temple 19 years later in 587 B.C.  The war may be the fulfillment of Psalm 83.
  3. Mark 13:10 says the gospel will be preached to all nations.  Well it has been at least once.  Now with satellites, cell phones and the increase in social media the gospel is very widely available.  Some argue that it's not available to everyone this minute, this second.  No, but over the course of two millennia it has been fully disseminated to every nation.
  4. Luke 21:25, Joel 2:31 and others say that there will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. Genesis 1:14 says the sun, moon, and stars will be for signs.  We've had the blood moon tetrad and on August 21st we may see part of the fulfillment of Joel 2:31.
  5. The discovery of the Star of Bethlehem by Rick Larson - video.
  6. A Pacific Ocean California Grey Whale was spotted off the coast of Tel Aviv - The Sign of Jonah revisited  - Link
  7. Of late there have been super moons, solar flares, eclipses, meteors, asteroids and increasing signs in the heavens.
  8. Of course the Revelation 12 Sign on September 23rd, 2017, that needs nothing added here.
  9. Across the planet there have been unexplained trumpet sounds as the preparations begin.
  10. The sea and the waves roaring according to Luke 21:25 and links here to the Thailand and Fukushima tsunamis. If there was ever a sign that life on this planet is unsustainable in the short run and time is about over, the events at Fukushima and the continued massive radioactive dump into the Pacific should put you on your knees. - link
  11. Sinkholes.  Last year it seemed like you couldn't go a day without hearing of another - Numbers 16:30 Ezekiel 5:14
  12. Famine and Earthquakes increasing (Matthew 24:7 and Luke 21:11).
  13. Mass animal deaths (see Hosea 4:1-3 and this comprehensive link).  You should spend some time here if you haven't been keeping up.  And what's up with all of the shark sightings and attacks?  Also the many deep sea animals like the oar fish that are washing up - link
  14. Water turning red ("into blood") - see here.
  15. In my mind the BP, Exxon Valdez and Ixtoc I oil spills were all reminders of the impossibility of life continuing much longer without divine intervention.  This is a recurring theme in my posts to try and wake people up.  If you don't believe anything else, you should see the futility and impossibility of it all.  Some still naively believe Congress or the E.U. or the U.N. will save us.  They can't tackle even the most pressing issues.
  16. The 1986 Chernobyl "wormwood" disaster was a type of what's coming in the 7 year period of Jacob's Trouble. Revelation 8:11
  17. Other examples of our own frailness like Three Mile Island, BP Oil Spill, Kansas City Hyatt Regency walkway collapse, Delta flight 91, American Airlines 191, Bhopal disaster in India, Love Canal, the 2010 Hungarian toxic sludge and the Danube River and smaller reminders like Y2K,
  18. Wars and rumors of wars - the 20th and 21st centuries have been full of them: WWI, WWII, Congo, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Gulf II, more Afghanistan, along with rape and genocide in places like Rwanda and across Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia.
  19. Oppression, slavery and the sexual exploitation of adults and children is rampant across the globe and at unprecedented levels.
  20. 172 species of migratory birds have been found in Israel in preparation for the soon coming Ezekiel 38 and 39 war.
  21. Pestilence (disease) is occurring in record numbers.  Ebola, Zika, Typhoid, Yellow Fever, SARS, HIV/AIDS...With the mass production of food and ease of global travel, a global mass casualty event is just a matter of time.  Luke 21:11
  22. In Hosea 6 God declares He will return "after two days".  2 Peter 3:8 tells us a day is like a thousand years and we know 2,000 years have transpired.  In John 4, we are told twice that Jesus stayed with the Gentiles in Samaria for two days.  This is a parallel with the two days (2,000 years) that have been given to the Gentiles (the church age).  The end of the church age is upon us, the time of Jacob's trouble (7 year tribulation), followed by the 1,000 year millennial reign of Christ is dead ahead.
  23. More Christians have been martyred in the 20th century than in all previous centuries combined.  Matthew 24:9 - link
  24. The abortion holocaust.  Joel 2:28, Acts 2:17.  Have you ever asked yourself why satan hates the unborn?  What demonic plan is he up to?  Our fight is not against flesh and blood... Ephesians 6:12.  Perry Stone has suggested it is because God prophesied that the young men would prophesy.  Does satan want to stop the warning?  Yes he does.  The big old USA lost Vietnam after the Roe v Wade decision and America rapidly began to lose her faith.
  25. Apostasy on the rise.  Europe, the great stronghold of the faith is lost and the cathedrals are empty and filled with dust. The USA is following close behind.  Matthew 24:10, Revelation 3:14-22.
  26. Now the world calls good evil and evil good - Isaiah 5:20.  Gender-less, marriage-less, commitment-less, and perversion.  LGBT.  The perversion of the rainbow.  The LGBT Supreme Court ruling.  Romans 1 has become super-explanatory right about now.
  27. The lack of men and the singleness of women - Isaiah 4:1
  28. Unprecedented moral decay - Romans 1:24 and Luke 17:26.  Fighting, road rage, airplane rage, homosexuality, violence, tension (everyone is tense and they're all on Prozac or other behavioral drugs).
  29. Demonic activity, the occult, Satanism, witches, and drug abuse.  The 2017 Superbowl half time show comes to mind.
  30. The demonic possession of those with hard drug addiction.  See bullet #12 here.
  31. Spirit of lawlessness as in the days of Noah, yet the world is angry at our police officers (I get that there is sometimes unfair and revolting treatment, but the permeating lack of respect pushes many to the brink).
  32. Lovers of self and the selfie stick - 2 Timothy 3:2
  33. False teachers and the prosperity gospel are rampant - Matthew 24:11.
  34. Terrorism.  The book The Harbinger was an excellent reminder that America's days are numbered.  If the USA is not around to protect Israel what will stop the Ezekiel 38 and 39 war? 9/11/2001 has come and gone.  The 777 points stock market crash of 2008 is old news.  The 2015 book end is also come and gone.  A rebuke would have been a warning, but silence tells me something bigger is on the way.
  35. The Gog and Magog War actors (Russia, Iran, Turkey - et al) are now aligned on the world stage with alliances in hand for the Ezekiel 38 and 39 conflict.
  36. People are going on their merry way.  Jesus said he would return when it was not expected.
  37. The stock market is way over-bought and the debt load is even higher.  Sudden destruction is coming.  The web is full of collapse warnings. The utter insanity of Quantitative Easing and "Too Big to Fail" is soon coming to a crushing end.  We are way, way out on a ledge.
  38. The nuclear tension and proliferation is way too high with man-children like Kim Jong-Un and he-men like Vladimir Putin and the crazies in Tehran all too eager to engage in a worldwide performance of Lord of the Flies.
  39. The Twelvers in Tehran believe in the imminent arrival of their messiah - the Madhi.  He will supposedly come out of a hole in the ground, while there is great chaos and calamity and they're ready to get the show started.  They don't want peace, they want chaos and then a caliphate.
  40. We are in the year 6,000 since the garden of Eden and not 5,777 as widely published in Jewish circles. See here and here.
  41. The Jews have returned  home as prophesied in Ezekiel 36:22-24.
  42. Israel has been restored from a desolation to a flourishing modern day Garden of Eden (Isaiah 27:6, Isaiah 35:1-2, Ezekiel 36:34-37).  Israel is now the number one exporter of flowers in the world.
  43. The predicted destruction of Damascus, Syria is right on top of us - Isaiah 17.  This is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and it's collapsing in 2017.  Presently I wouldn't give you 5 cents for all of it, but a day is soon coming when someone is going to set off an explosion of Saddam's WMDs that are all over Syria and stored underneath Damascus and there you will have it.  Still I see God's mercy there as He has driven people out and away, although through tremendous suffering, death and carnage, much like The Great Tribulation that is coming.  6 months or so until the 7 year anniversary of the start of this great shaking.
  44. The plans and preparations for rebuilding the prophesied third temple are completely ready.  They've even found the descendants of Levi and have them vetted, trained and ready.  See - The Temple Institute - here.
  45. The technology for the Mark of the Beast (global embedded e-commerce chips) is ready and being rolled out (see India).
  46. The chip technology has a shelf life.  Soon this technology will be old news and retina scanning or brain scanning will replace it as a more secure alternative for global identification.
  47. The satellite technology is in place to broadcast the two witnesses all over the planet.
  48. Trump has more resources and focus placed on the Middle East peace process than on any other region or domestic endeavor.  His son in law Jared Kushner met with P.A. President Abbas just last week.  Donald "The Art of the Deal" Trump will make this happen.  Each side needs the U.S. to keep them from getting swallowed up.   The P.A. can't even generate their own electricity without the support of the U.S. and Israel.  So turn it off.  Israel can't last an hour against their many powerful enemies without the threat of U.S. intervention (of course THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY has their back and that is PLENTY!!!)
  49. The drive for a one world government, new world order, a Tower of Babel "we can do it ourselves" attitude is at a frenzied pace from the E.U. in Brussels (the woman riding the beast) to NAFTA and a hundred other agreements, like OPEC, the ENP treaty, the United Nations, and on and on.

  1. There is no longer a single dominate superpower as in times past (Assyria, Babylon, Greece, Rome, The Vatican, Spain, France, Britain, the USA, Russia, China).  There is no longer a political restrainer to hold this multi-polar world in check.
  2. There has been rapid movement in the E.U., the USA and India towards a global cashless currency.   See also Bitcoin.  For the U.S.A.'s protection Saudi Arabia traded oil in U.S. dollars, but now Saudi Arabia is fading and currency exchanges are popping up everywhere, sans U.S. dollars. - link
  3. The world is ripe for an alien deception.  No longer are there a few zealots in Roswell with a theory - now theories and conspiracists abound everywhere.  Even NASA believes there are inhabitable planets and SETI efforts are their main focus.  The constant Hollywood drumbeat of movies and TV shows from Lost in Space, Star Trek, Star Wars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Encounter, ET, Alien, Independence Day, Men in Black and on and on have primed the pump.  When fallen angels (demons) are cast down and the body of Christ is lifted up, the great delusion will sink in deeply - 2 Thess 2:11-12.  We don't even have one spacecraft capable of going on the hunt for the big chunk of humanity which will have left - satire and commentary on the smallness of mankind.
  4. CERN - this in my estimation will be the great delusion, that somehow a wormhole opened and many inhabitants of planet earth were sucked through the spacetime continuum and aliens (fallen angels) took their place.
  5. Mrs. Clinton tells us we can no longer have religious diversity and the move to one world thought and one world religion is required.  link
  6. Pope Francis champions this inclusive demonic posture as well -link.  He seems rather well positioned to take the role of the false prophet, particularly given the lateness of the hour.  He is blurring the religious lines and excusing all manner of depravity.
  7. Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel predicted the end - link
  8. St. Malachy's "last pope" prophecy - link
  9. Pope Francis said he only had 2-3 years left in 2015 - link
  10. Pope Francis said "I come in my own name" - link.  See John 5:43.
  11. Genetic manipulation / CRISPR with custom babies, three-parent babies, human/animal chimeras, reversing the aging process and taking us back to Genesis 6.  Particularly verse 9 - here.  Noah is declared a righteous man and then perfect.  We know no one is perfect, but a better rendering might be that his DNA was perfect (not corrupted by the intermarrying of fallen angels, who were trying to stop God's plan of redemption).  We're coming full circle - link.
  12. Genesis 12, Zechariah 12:3 and Daniel 9:27 say that you'd better not divide God's land, but Trump, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Carter and Nixon have all tried to do it.  Satan wants to prove God to be a liar, but God will throw a foul this Fall when someone tries to kill his children, deny God the privilege of giving Israel one last chance and divide the land that will not be divided.  When this happens look out.  Christians will be taken out of harms way, wrath ensues and Israel will end up with more land, and eventually repentance and conversion.  Ariel Sharon had a stroke after giving away Gaza - link
  13. The time is right and people are hungry for someone to do the impossible.  There is no hope in Russia, Iran, China, North Korea, the U.S.A., U.K., the E.U., Mexico, Canada or anywhere else.  The world has been inundated with impossibly disastrous government, corruption and debt.  Democracy is lost.  People always trade freedom for security.  When the rapture happens, the world's economies will collapse and war will break out, people will huddle together in Tower of Babel-style and will be ready and willing for the rise of a world leader to make it all better. Someone is already on the world stage and ready to go.  He'll do it his way, without God.  He will try to lead without Christ and will then be the famed antichrist.
  14. Conspiracy theories are everywhere from the Kennedy assassination, the Vietnam body count lies of McNamara, Watergate, Iran Contra, Roswell, Area 51, Illuminati, The Bilderbergs, Rubby Ridge, 9/11, Waco-David Koresh, Russian election hacking, Birthers and on and on. People believe lies at the drop of a hat and you can no longer convince them of the truth.  Professing to be wise, they became fools - Romans 1:22
  15. No one listens to the news. Lies and fake news are everywhere. Why does satan want misinformation right now?  So truth will be hidden and many deceived.  I'm reminded of the military tactic of flooding the airwaves with information and misinformation before something big.
  16. Underground bunkers, preppers, guns, CHL, Open Carry... paranoia and fear - link
  17. The U.S. movement of the embassy to Jerusalem is coming - link
  18. 770 earthquakes in Yellowstone.  Of course we had the Northridge earthquake in the porn capital of the world. The New Madrid Fault has also been in the news every few months and again recently - here. Let's not forget Christchurch, Chile, Nepal and Haiti.
  19. Volcanoes from Mt. St. Helens, Alaska, Iceland, Mexico City and Rome continue to make the news.  Still we bumble along thinking there's nothing we can do and "it won't happen to me".
  20. Hurricanes like Andrew, Ike, Gustav, Katrina, Sandy and tornadoes like Oklahoma City and Tuscaloosa are on the rise.
  21. The Arab Spring may have been part of the fulfillment of Isaiah 19 and the continued unleashing of the pale green horse - video (I remember seeing this with my own eyes on live TV).
  22. The alignment of numbers, 1897, 1917, 1947, 1948, 1967.... also 6,000 years of creation....120 jubilees, etc...  Well covered here on Unsealed and elsewhere.

Summary

The signs are getting louder, stronger and closer together.  Just like the birth pangs and contractions that were prophesied.

The stage is set.  The actors are in place.  We just need one spark, one domino and the whole thing goes off.

My personal theory and it's just that - a theory:

Trump and Kushner make some progress in the peace talks.  Russia, Iran and China were expecting the status quo with Hillary. Trump has them rattled.  Trump is unpredictable, uncontrollable, not afraid to act (rightly or wrongly) and dangerous (at least in their minds).

If the U.S. was out of the way, they believe they could easily take Israel, control the U.N. and world trade.  The U.S. has nothing but more debt to offer.  With all of the military provocations, it won't take much for there to be an international incident and another shot heard round the world or another Archduke Ferdinand.

My guess - something is going to happen in the U.S.  Something distracting. Perhaps related to the first mark in the "X" target over the U.S. during the August eclipse.  There are many options: Yellowstone, New Madrid, North Korea, a dirty bomb, EMP, or financial scare, but no worries!  At least Apple will unveil the iPhone 8.

While the U.S. is licking its wounds, the Axis of Evil quickly mounts a plan to attack Israel and the war of Ezekiel 38 and 39 is unleashed.  God who has sworn to give Israel one more seven year period to repent, will intervene, much like He did in 1967.  It's amazing that after countless failed attempts Lucifer still thinks he can prove God to be a liar.

This time God must get His children (the Bride of Christ) out of harms way and the great snatching away (Rapture/Harpazo) will occur (just like Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah), before The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.  The Time of Jacob's Trouble.  The Tribulation.

I don't know the day or the hour, but I'm not dead and I'm not blind.  It's really not that hard to see, as God has graciously chosen to unlock and reveal the mysteries that have been hidden away for ages past.

If we're right (God is not a God of confusion - 1 Corinthians 14:33 - He's giving signs for a reason) then:

T-minus 88 days and counting (more or less - I don't know the day or the hour).

Be ready.

Help those around you get ready.

Maranatha.

    7. doesn't quite work, as Jesus was around 33 (probably 27-29 AD) when the triumphal entry took place. Means the calculation would be out by a few decades...

    9. Blood Moon - yes, the apocrypha and other non-canonical books are the one of the main reasons for debate between catholics and prots/pentecostals etc. the RCC church believes they are part of the canon, and we say 'no way hos'e' (how do you spell that in Spanish!). The truth is that they are somewhere in between. Most good scholars see apocryphal 1 and 2 Enoch, 1 and 2 Maccabees and the Book of Jasher as supplemental historical information, most of which has verified authenticity, although aspects have been shown to be added to some of the writings that may be considered gnostic (e.g., two chapters in Enoch). While non-canonical and thus not a basis for doctrine, they are amazing additional pieces of info that give proof of the historicity of events taking place. Out of all the apocryphal books, 1 and 2 Enoch have been verified the most through dead sea scroll findings.

    10. Israel is not back. Amos 5:2 "The virgin of Israel is fallen, she shall no more rise, she is forsaken upon her land, there is none to raise her up" The reason? Amos 5:26 "ye have borne the tabernacles of your Molosh and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves" Moloch and Chiun is Saturn, and El as in Babel.

    11. Enoch was the seventh gen. from Adam, Laodicea is the seventh church period and will continue to the end, see the pattern again...

  2. Great reminder. Just one small correction. It's Christchurch not Christs church (assuming you are talking about the NZ earthquake)

  3. Regarding "no one knows the day or hour," (brilliantly debunked already anyway) I recently realized that a Jew (Jesus) was talking to Jews (his disciples) before the rapture mystery had been revealed to Paul. The disciples would not have known to ask about a rapture, only a Second Coming. Therefore the day-or-hour could not be talking about the rapture, can it? But the return to Mt. of Olives as described in Zechariah? Therefore there is not a viable claim in Scripture that "no one knows the day or hour" of the rapture. It's a completely different event.

    1. I like that. I've also been encouraged by Revelation 1:1, written after the ascension was a gift from God to His son to show Him His inheritance - The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John

    2. Agree. Rev 3:3 as you have noted in the article is also brilliant. "So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you."

If we flipped that second part of the verse around (wrote it in the antonym...if that is the right word to use), it might read like "Therefore, if you do wake up, I will not come like a thief, and you will know at what hour I will come to you"...however that could be scripturally problematic, as it could refer to the identification of his coming, when he comes, rather that knowing it before hand...interesting to consider however.

    3. What has been taught concerning the Rapture and the second coming throughout the centuries has been wrong and backwards in many cases, I believe that what has been taught about not knowing the day or the hour is also backwards and wrong. People are always referring to the rapture, when Christ is clearly referring to his second coming. In the Gospels, Jesus is talking to the people of Israel.

He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
      Matthew 15:24

In John, Jesus is talking about the rapture. John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Please notice he never said anything about not knowing the day or the hour.

In Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 17 & 21, Jesus is talking to his disciples about his second coming.
When He talks, for example, about two men in a field, one is taken and the other is left, He's not talking about the rapture even though it sounds like he is.

Check this out : The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
      Matthew 13:41‭-‬42‭, ‬47‭-‬50

In this passage Christ is talking about his angels going out and removing the wicked from the earth at his second coming, two will be in the field one will be taken and the other left.
And they answered (Jesus disciples) and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
      Luke 17:37 KJV
In this verse they are asking where the wicked are removed to.

You have to make a distinction between the second coming and the rapture. I hear very few people making that distinction. In the Gospels, except for the Book of John chapter 14, Jesus is talking about His second coming. In 1st Thessalonians 4, 2nd Thessalonians 2, and 1st Corinthians 15, Paul is talking about the rapture.
Take notice that Paul says nothing about not knowing the day or the hour of the catching away of the body of Christ and we can clearly see that Revelation 12 which is clearly talking about the rapture will be fulfilled on September 23 2017 at Twilight Jerusalem time when the last Trump is blown at the end of the Feast of trumpets. And since it perfectly coincides with the Feast of trumpets, it reinforces this argument.

      Delete
    4. Now here is my argument about not knowing the day or hour of the second coming of Christ.
Firstly, Christ was talking to the Jews, the remnant of Israel, the ones that remain on the earth at the end of the tribulation before his second coming, before Christ comes to defeat his enemies. He sends his angels to remove the wicked from among them.
Now why would his second coming have to be a secret? Think about it, the best strategy in war is surprise. Christ is coming to conquer, to defeat his enemies.
Daniel talks about a war in the heavens against the angels and the Prince of Persia.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
      Daniel 10:12‭-‬13 KJV

Keeping that in mind, Christ knows that the best strategy is to keep that last battle a surprise so that the enemy does not have a chance to prepare for it and try, feeble as it may be, to stop Christ from returning to earth to defeat them.

I understand that some of this subject to the interpretation of Scripture, but please, study this for yourself.

  8. My question is 1.) if this rapture rescue does not occur, or does not occur this Sept/Oct, and you believe the 70th week starts this year, what would be, if not the rapture, the instigator or trigger for the tribulation then?

2.) What makes you so sure that this thing of a rapture was not misunderstood, and really means that believers will be physically taken off the planet and not some other thing?

3.) Does a time frame of let us say 2022-2029 also make sense for the 70th week? If not, why not?

    Thanks

    3. 1. Well, the rapture happens before the Tribulation (I will explain below). So there would be no trigger.
      2. Several verses talk about it. There is an article on Unsealed about it.
      3. The reason why we pick this year for the week is the date counts, and the sign of the woman. Again, covered in this website.

    4. Its a valid question, and you will find on this site those that believe in a pre-trib rapture (majority), those who believe in a mid trib (myself...intra-seal we call it), with some who are in the post-trib camp. We could all wax lyrical about why we believe what we believe and quote all our favourite teachers - Chuck Missler (pre), Arnold Fructenbaum (pre), Jacob Prasch (mid), Joel Richardson/Mark Davidson (post) etc to back up our points. The key thing is to be watching! However, depending on your perspective, the event that will start Daniels 70th week is either the rapture, or the signing (or strengthening) of the covenant with 'the many' by the AC. Note - if you read the above mentioned authors books (Fructenbaum and Prasch are particularly in-depth), they will differ in terms of the meaning of 'Daniels 70th week', the 'day of the Lord', and the 'time of Jacobs trouble'. All books by these authors are worthwhile reading (and you get the added bonus of hearing both sides of the camp on whether it will be a roman or islamic Anti-Christ)

  9. Amazing article. Thanks to who wrote it. I have a question and I wasn't sure where to put it. Do you think when Jesus was talking to the Laodicean church, was He talking about leaving some behind in the rapture? I am referring to the part where He talking about spewing them out. (Sorry for my poor English)

    1. That's a good question. I do think he was, but I believe this passage is not talking about leaving Believers behind, but those who are Christian-in-name-only. In other words, there will be a partial rapture of professing Christians, but not a partial rapture of those who genuinely believe in the Gospel, so if you trust in Christ alone and believe He died for your sins and rose again, I don't want you to fear. Be encouraged and rest in Him.

The question is, which Christians are Christian-in-name-only? The answer is those who do not believe in the good news of the Gospel. Legalists will have you believe that you will be left behind if you struggle with sin or haven't "overcome enough". They are lying deceivers and do not even live up to their own standard.

The legalists and the lawless will be left behind for the exact same reason: failure to submit to God's righteousness through faith in Christ ALONE (Romans 10). They both deny the Gospel in the same place: that Christ died for our sins (see 1 Cor. 15:3-4).

We've written a lot about this subject, which will hopefully be encouraging to you:

    3. People get the Rapture and Second Coming mixed up. This has been expounded upon by many. Likewise people get Salvation and the Rapture mixed up.

Compare Matthew 7:13-14 with John 3:16 and 2 Peter 3:9, then with Revelation 7:9-10 and Revelation 7:14-15.

How many people do you know in churches who are cold--anti-God? Not many...they are abundant, but most of them don't want to go to church. How many are hot? If they ARE hot, are they not "watching", since Jesus told them to over and over, and the events to the day also shout to "the wise" to WATCH, because now is the time? But only FEW are watching. I do not mean few in the Church, or few in the U.S., but few in any local church in any area. Hard to find more than a few in any area.

But to those of you that assume that ALL these good people in church are not saved, even though they have confessed Jesus as their Lord and believe in their hearts that God has raised Him from the dead, you are twisting Scripture to make things fit your theology. He told the Laodicean Church He would spit them out!

What is nearly always true of those who confuse the Rapture with Salvation is that they think Jesus said only the few are going to heaven, and the many are all going to hell. That is NOT what He said! Read it carefully. He said the few are on the way which leads to life. In all of history, no one goes to heaven EXCEPT by their body being destroyed to the point that it can no longer support life ("they die"--their body does). The exceptions (maybe) are Enoch and Elijah. Why do I say "maybe"? Because they may be the 2 witnesses in the Tribulation, in which case they also die (bodies get destroyed to the point that they cannot remain in them).

What about those on the "broad way"? Jesus did NOT say they are going to hell, like people are so sure He said. He said "destruction". Their bodies will die. "So are you say they are all going to heaven?" NO. IF they are saved, they are going to heaven. If not, they are going to hell.

I know it's VERY hard to change what you have thought for so many years, just as "the day and the hour" and "doctrine of imminency" for so many of us. Remember Jesus said "I wish that you were hot or cold". Jesus WILL GET that "wish" (as is usually translated--I think "desire" is a better translation). When the mark of the beast is required to buy or sell, and people by refusing it have no ability to get food or perhaps keep their homes--they have chosen starvation and unknown harm rather than take the mark. THEY ARE NO LONGER "lukewarm"!!! Others take the mark. They are also no longer "lukewarm", but ice cold towards God! In the Tribulation, "lukewarm" is VERY QUICKLY destroyed! They become the "great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb...These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation..."

Consider one more verse, often quoted on this site: Revelation 3:3 "...hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch...". Much has been said about "if you will not watch", but very little about "repent". We think of weeping, wailing, and being terribly sorry for a wrong committed. That can be the case. But not always--it ALWAYS means "to turn, change your thinking or way". Even when we are truly submitted to the Lord, we still have to change our thinking from time to time. Right?

    5. Sorry, I left out something: regarding the "few" on "the way that leads to life"--that is the Rapture. It is NOT that only a "few" get SAVED!!! If you believe that, then you don't believe Revelation 7 (quoted above--the multitude too large for ANY MAN to count who are saved...out of the Tribulation). It is the "few" that go "the way that leads to life"--go to heaven without dying ("destruction" of their bodies to the point that life is unsustainable therein). The Rapture--the ONLY ones going to heaven without dying!

Example of asking: "Dear Lord please forgive me of x".
Example of accepting forgiveness: "Dear Lord I am sorry for x, 'Thank You' for your
forgiveness/atonement that you have given to me for free."

    7. I think he is partly right, but to declare 'asking Jesus into your heart' is akin to apostasy...sorry, but that is a misleading statement. Ironically enough, the apostles had a number of ways of addressing the gospel and salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:16 notes that we are the temple of the living God - so I guess 'Jesus does come and live in us'. Right??. And on the blood. Does Acts 2 - that great chapter on Pentecost note anything about the blood. Nope - He talked about Jesus being raised from the dead, being made Lord. Peter then followed that up with "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit". And in Acts 3 Peter commanded them to "repent and return...". Acts 17: 30 “Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all everywhere should repent".

So does that make anyone who only declares on youtube that we need to preach on the blood according to Romans 3, an apostate - as they are not declaring a complete gospel?? OF COURSE NOT!!! Just like most people I have heard evangelising do not simply say 'ask Jesus into your heart', but they tell them about the blood of Christ having to be spilled as punishment in our place, they tell them that Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross and rose again on the third day, conquering death. They tell them to repent and believe, by faith, in the saving grace of God, and to walk in obedience to what Christ has done. The apostate is one who gives 'an easy gospel'. One who 'confesses me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me'.

    8. What's wrong with asking the Lord to forgive this or that sin? Saying to Him, "Please forgive me this or that!" NOTHING! It is biblical. The Lord looks at what is in your heart not your wording in the first place! If you really feel guilt and repentance over something you'll receive forgiveness whenever you ask Him!

    9. I agree asking for forgiveness is probably not the best prayer language, although I'd be careful this is the very language Christ used in His model prayer.

The perfect prayer language and perfect understanding won't save you.

      Let's simply be grateful.

Not directed at this reply in particular, but step back and read the many replied and themes emerge of trying to pray right, act right, believe right - few are important. We were not tasked with posturing well before the HOLY ONE, but being grateful, humble and making disciples.

Unfortunately few come here with hallelujah and help me make disciples, but with offers of how we in our flesh can understand better, live better and generally please God better.

  16. In researching the coming solar eclipse, I looked up the Torah scriptures to be read at that time. The Torah scriptures are in a cycle and of course were not scripted with the eclipse in mind. Therefore, only the Lord who holds all things together could orchestrate this. Here is what I discovered:

God warned that a nation is not to shed innocent blood. (Deuteronomy 19:10). We read in Deuteronomy 21:1-9, that God is aware of all innocent blood that is shed... We read that if we are made aware of this and confess we did not see or observe the shedding of innocent blood, then God will forgive those connected to the guilty nation.

However, God says that the nation itself must remove the guilt of innocent blood. God's Word offers no justification in shedding the blood of the innocent.

The US government sells more weapons around the world than the rest of the world combined! War is profitable to the tune of 100's of $billions!

America could easily be called the "Lord of War" as she has profited more than any other nation through continuous wars and blood shed.

Innocent blood includes the 50 million unborn children aborted in America and child trafficking that reaches to the highest levels in our society. U.S. Congressman Trey Gowdy has recently expressed utter shock as to how pervasive his committee has discovered the child trafficking problem just in the DC area is!

On August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse will stream across America as it's shadow is going to "cut" America in half from coast-to-coast. And the Torah reading for this day?....."You shall remove the guilt of innocent blood from your midst, when you do what is right in the sight of the Lord." (Deuteronomy 21:9) This is not a coincidence.

  17. They ask: "Are you at Unsealed.org REALLY sure it is this year in 2017?"

List of Prerequisites to Jesus' Return

Should not these happen first? So, what are these prerequisite events? Here are several examples starting with the first event to come:

Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 War - Damascus Destroyed — Rather than the rapture, the next event in prophecy is a swift war in the Middle East between Israel and many of her Arab/Islamic neighbors. You do not need a Bible to tell you this as many secular sources expect one, due to the tensions between Israel and the Arabs and Iran (not Arab, but Persian). The concern over Iran's nuclear program has only added to this. The outcome of this war will be the destruction of Damascus and several other major Arab cities and regions, along with much devastation in Israel. Obviously, the attack has still not happened because Damascus remains a city to this day.

The Sixth Seal/Wormwood — If you read Revelation 6:12-17 carefully you will see that it depicts the entire population panicking and running for cover in response to signs in the heavens and a tremendous global earthquake on earth moving every mountain and island out of place. It is obvious that nothing like this has happened since the first century when it was written and when knowledge of the Lamb of God (named by those panicking: Rev 6:16) has arrived. By the way, this event is the very "sign of the end" that Jesus told his followers to watch for (Mt 24:7-8=Lk 21:10-11=Joel 2:30-32=Rev 6:12-17). God's end time escape instructions shared by Jesus, Joel and Revelation would then play out for the faithful.)

Third Temple — Several passages describe a Third Temple on the Temple Mount with sacrifices going during the Great Tribulation (Rev 11:1-2; Mt 24:15; 2The 2:3-4). The Antichrist is even described as sitting in this end time temple as part of his declaration of himself as God (2Th 2:4). Obviously, there is as yet still no temple or even a construction project under way for one, nor sacrifices yet. Speaking of the construction, some say that everything is already being prepared for this temple and it can go up fast, in less than a year. Even if that's true, under the current political situation they still could not break ground on the Temple Mount without the Arabs approval or a strong belligerent response of opposition. The Arab control and power needs to be broken first, and that is not going to happen without a war, probably the future Psalm 83 war as above.

Abomination of Desolation — The Great Tribulation starts 30 days (as in the 1290 - 1260 days) after the Abomination of Desolation is stood up on the Temple Mount (Mk 13:14). The abomination refers to the Image of the Beast statue being erected for worship (Rev 13:14). At the same time the Third Temple sacrifices are halted by the Antichrist. This is another unfulfilled prophecy as only the Antichrist can accomplish this and he is not here yet.
Great Tribulation — This is the most obvious and well-known one. According to Daniel 9:27 = Matthew 24:21, Jesus must return after a period of "Great Tribulation." During this Great Tribulation, the Antichrist will rule over the world for 42 months (Rev 13). He will force all the unsaved (Rev 13:8) to take a mark in their right hand or forehead during that time. Plainly, we are not in the Great Tribulation and no mark of the beast has been issued yet.

The Rapture — Finally the rapture comes after the Great Tribulation, but clearly not to save anyone from any threat on earth as Christians suppose its purpose is. It arrives right on time for the faithful to be "rewarded" (Rev 11:18) with glorified eternal bodies (1Co 15:52) so they can then rule for the entire 1000 year Millennial Reign along with those in the first resurrection (Rev 20:4-5).

    1. We are not saying nor have we said that we know the year, date or hour.

We are saying the signs of the Lord's soon return are everywhere, time is very very short and we all must be about our Fathers business.

We are also saying and as best as we can understand September 23rd 2017 strongly aligns with the prophesied Revelation 12 and the Micah 5 rapture description. In any other area of life you would say that we know this beyond a reasonable doubt, but God's word and will are held to the highest standard and so we cannot and will not say this is it, though I am convinced in my heart.

As for Psalm 83. This seems to describe the 6 day war.

Damascus is about toast. Can't imagine another few years of that bombed out berg holding on.

The rest will have during the 7 year tribulation.

    2. I like to say "The tribulation can't start, until the Holy Spirit Believers depart."
Once again, you have to make a distinction between the catching away of the church and the second coming of Christ. At the Rapture, Christ calls his Holy Spirit-filled believers home, before the tribulation. At the second coming, Christ comes to Earth to defeat his enemies and to bring everything under his Authority at the end of the tribulation.

  18. Greg,

I agree with all you have written wholeheartedly. Just an interesting observation for you. When you read through the Bible, you can see God working in certain patterns. Take the story of Joseph. Through a dream God showed Pharaoh that there would be be 7 years of harvest, followed by by 7 years of famine. Now we know there will be a final 7 year period before Jesus returns, so could it be that there will be a 7 year period of harvesting souls, the likes of which the world has never seen before, followed by a 7 year period of great distress, the likes of which the world has never seen before, when evangelism will be incredibly difficult? If so, then potentially, and I mean potentially here, 2017 -2023 could be the most explosive time for evangelism the world has ever seen, and 2024 – 2030, could be the tribulation. And wouldn’t it be fitting if Jesus did return in 2030, as this would be more or less exactly 2000 years after leaving this earth? If so, we’ve only got 14 years left on this planet.

    1. Interesting. I believe in one more 7 year period as described in Daniel 9. This 70th week of 7 years, is also called the time of Jacob's trouble and is one last altar call for the Jewish remnant, with increasingly severe judgements as the Lord urgently seeks repentence.

Wow, can you elaborate on this? I ask because as I was doing my own study in Daniel and creating some notes about a timeline, counting back and forward with the Sept. 23 date and some of the numbers in Daniel, I found something from February 2017 that would potentially fit a timeline, and "Confirm a covenant with many" but I wasn't sure if it could apply. But it does have to do with settlements, so your Realestate moguls comment grabbed my attention.

  19. Greg,

They tell me that this website is insinuating that it will be this year, 2017. I know they don't really 'say' it. I hope its 2024.

"As for Psalm 83. This seems to describe the 6 day war."

No way. Their immediate neighbors are still there. It's gonna be a scary war when it kicks off, we'll know it. Damascus goes up in flames at Psalm 83.

    1. You maybe correct. I have long believed the Psalm 83 war was in front of us and believed the enemies in those neighboring countries would be destroyed, but the text never says that.

The placement of Psalm 84 is also fascinating to me, as the temple mount was return.

  21. @ Blood Red Moon:
There is discrepancy in the gregorian calendar, discrepancy in the Jewish calendar... what do we use? Let's use the sun, moon, and stars... Which are unaffected by sin and even better, untouched by humanity.

So the Rev12 sign occurred in 3915 BC. Let's just say this was the creation year, and the world was birthed.

This puts us not quite at 6000 years of humanity, right? Or does it?

I would assume God uses 360 day years for a reason, not just because the numbers round nice. Let's just say God uses those days for a year, because that's how He created the world.

And then, let's just say that the global flood was in 1656 AM as calculated here (AIG) - https://answersingenesis.org/bible-timeline/timeline-for-the-flood/

And, I would think it is safe to assume that the opening of the fountains of the deep and the floodwaters in the sky had something to do with wobbling the earth around so that we somehow ended up with 365.25 day years. It may have taken a bit to settle down, the land wasn't divided until the days of Peleg a bit later on, but let's use the year 1656 AM and guess that things settled down to balance out to 365.25 days/year quite quickly.

Which means we've existed for an extra 5.25 days per year since the global flood.

But if our allotted days are 6000 years, what if we take into account the "extra" days?

    3915 - 1656 = 2259 years BC + 2017 years AD - 1 (no year 0)
= 4275 years lived with "extra days"

    4275 x 365.25 / 360 = 4337 360-day-year equivalent years since the flood

    4337 (post flood) + 1656 (preflood) = 5993 years.

Just in time to tack on another 7.

Oh, and remember that the Rev 12 sign occurs in Sept/Oct, so the calculation would be to the very day according to the sun, moon, and stars.

Not provable... but there's something for you to chew on....

    1. Thank you for the link. Yes, the seal part was fascinating, and the unfertilized egg part was so sad :(. I watched the Passion of the Christ a few weeks ago and was just dumbstruck how much God loves us and how mean humanity was back. He really gives us every opportunity and although many follow Him, many more are lost. I can't think about how much that hurts His heart. :(

Scottie is doing some great vids these days.

I posted about the 1000 yr days. I'm just small peanuts (1-2 views a day, homeschooling plain Jane mama), so be kind, lol:

    2. Iforgot to even write what I came here for. Re: Scottie's clip.
Just read Romans 8:22-23, "For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the FIRST FRUITS of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we WAIT EAGERLY for ADOPTION as son's, the REDEMPTION of our BODIES"

First fruits of the Spirit - conception

Redemption of our bodies -adoption (birth / deliverance)

This seems to strongly support what Scott was saying.

  24. Greg,

What a wonderful piece. With so much detail about the Lords coming it saddens me to see so much unbelief.

I reminded of Luke 18 where our Lord gives a parable about an avenger who believed not God but did his duty because he was weary of a widow.

My friends when God comes to avenge his own elect, it will be quickly. Only those that have faith will escape.

Luke 18:7-8 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

  27. Greg, Thanks for your great work. A small correction - The Day of Atonement is not 1 week after the Feast of Trumpets. Trumpets is on the first day of the 7th month. Atonement is on the 10th day of the 7th month. It may be confused because this year, it falls 1 week after the Sept 23 sign.
