BREAKING: Prime Minister Netanyahu To Be Indicted, Election In Turmoil
Israeli Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit (pictured above - right) has just announced his intent to indict Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on three separate charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust in "Case 4000" and several similar charges in two separate cases. The investigations against the Prime Minister have finally come to a head and this may decisively impact the election against Likud in favor of opposition leaders Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid of the Blue and White coalition.
How exactly this will impact the soon-to-be-unveiled Trump-Kushner peace plan is yet to be seen, but consider for a moment the possibility that center-right Netanyahu has been stalling a two-state solution intentionally. What might the more centrist Gantz and center-left Lapid do?

-In a surprise vote, the United Methodist Church adopted the "Traditional Plan", which affirms biblical marriage and restricts practicing LGBT persons from leadership. The largely liberal adherents in the United States were outweighed by conservative members around the globe who rightly believe God's word is unequivocal on this issue. We see the global sifting continue... Fence-sitting will not be tolerated by the Almighty.

ReplyDeleteAn indictment just means that formal charges have been made against the Prime Minister; he has NOT been tried and found guilty. Only God knows and time will tell how it effects the election.

Off hand, saying that the more recent "rulers" or leaders of the country are GOOD guys may not be in fact Biblically correct, at least not from God's standpoint, because of their positions on "dividing the land" of Israel. Since 1948, they have ALL made concessions with regard to Israel's sovereignty and especially with regard to "dividing the land".

Nobody says a shepherd must be "good" in the bible (there are many prophecies against the 'shepherds' elsewhere). It is ONLY Jesus Christ being THE "good shepherd" mentioned in John 10:11-14. Can someone please explain what I am missing? Everyone says that Israel's 70th year ends this year, but even if you ignore the Gregorian calendar and do the math, based on either the start of a new year in Israel in the spring or fall (religious or civil), the 70 years ended last year.

I'm as anxious as the next guy for the Lord's return and probably more so due to extenuating circumstances, but I don't want to tell people Israel's 70th years ends this year, if it doesn't.
If people are saying it's the 70th year till the meter clicks over for the 71st year, is that really true? Aren't we really in the months and days that make up the 71st year already? It appears that we are past the 70th year, but all I see is everyone talking about the 70th year ending soon, when really it's the 71st year that is ending soon, right?.
I'm probably missing something, so please help me out here.
Think of a child. When they turn eight, they have finished their eighth year of life, but they are still considered eight until they turn nine and actually finish their ninth year of life. It's weird. :) So Israel celebrated their 70th birthday in 2018 but they are still considered 70 until they turn 71 in 2019. --Natalie

This could mean we're really close to the rapture or years away based on a reading of Ezekiel 38 and specifically verses 8 and 11 with regard to timing. A study of the original text is required as I have come to realize English translations are lacking. Verses 8 and 11 could also refer to the period after 1948 and not the period after the walls comes down. Your thoughts?

It reminds of something I prayed for recently. I asked the Lord to please give me a direct sign of his arrival. I finished my prayers and simply waited to see my answer. I was driving in my car a short time later that same day and as I just happened to glance down to the license plate on the car in front of me while waiting at the traffic light I noticed it said; "He's Near." What are the chances of that? I honestly think that the Lord gives us very direct signs and that one behind Jared Kushner among all that is going on there right now is absolutely sublime.

DeleteThe idea of the AC being outwardly Jewish is highly feasible. Many Rabbis are looking for the messiah to come as two different individuals with one being descended from the tribe of Ephraim (Joseph) and the other being descended from the tribe of Judah.
If that were true, then we should be interested in which tribe an individual is descended from. Where their parents come from (geographically) may not be so important as the lineage.
Many Christian sources suggest the AC to come descend from the tribe of Dan. The bigger problem is *our* interpretation of (2 Thessalonians 2:3) and how that *may* affect our witnessing the unveiling of the AC,
μή τις ὑμᾶς ἐξαπατήσῃ κατὰ μηδένα τρόπον· ὅτι ἐὰν μὴ ἔλθῃ ἡ ἀποστασία πρῶτον καὶ ἀποκαλυφθῇ ὁ ἄνθρωπος τῆς ἀνομίας, ὁ υἱὸς τῆς ἀπωλείας,
"For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first" is how the ESV Bible translates the word "ἀποστασία".

I find it interesting, and believe, that the World English Bible got it right translating the verse as,
"Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the departure comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction,"
Note, the variation in interpretation of the verse by the use of words like "apostasy", "falling away", "rebellion" and "revolt". We westerners tend to understand those words in a certain way and with certain meaning. We should dig into the Greek and put our focus on the word "ἀποστασία" ("apostasia"). This word is derived from the verb "ἀφίστημι" ("aphistémi") which means "to lead away, to depart from".
Strong's Concordance (G646) gives us,
apostasia: defection, revolt
Original Word: ἀποστασία, ας, ἡ
Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine
Transliteration: apostasia
Phonetic Spelling: (ap-os-tas-ee'-ah)
Definition: defection, revolt
Usage: defection, apostasy, revolt.
HELPS Word-studies gives us the following,
646 apostasía (from 868 /aphístēmi, "leave, depart," which is derived from 575 /apó, "away from" and 2476 /histémi, "stand") – properly, departure (implying desertion); apostasy – literally, "a leaving, from a previous standing."
The question then may be, "a leaving" from *what* previous standing? If that leaving is the Church at the Resurrection/Rapture, then we may not be around to know who the AC is.
I believe that the man that Israel receive(s) will not be the One they should be looking for. He will be "the man of lawlessness", "the son of destruction." I also believe that the beast that rises from the earth to be AI...but that's a discussion for another day.

DeleteYes, if these Rabbi's statements are accurate trustworthy and true, I believe we would be gone by then. The Ecclesiastical Jewish New Year is this weekend (3/8-3/9). Spring begins less than two-weeks later (3/20). Torahcalendar.com has Passover (3/21-3/22), the Feast of Unleavened Bread (3/22-3/29) and counting of the Omer beginning (3/23-3/24). Some Rabbi's have been saying (or so I hear) that the first *messiah*, son of Joseph will appear by the Israeli elections on April 9th?
If *they* are right about "their messiah" appearing during Purim (3/20-3/21) according to Hebcal.com, then we should be going vertical soon. But according to Torahcalendar Purim has already come and gone last month!

Yes, there is a one month difference between Torahcalendar.com and the civil calendar. So when Hebcal.com, for example, says it's Purim, Torahcalendar says it's Passover.
Please bear in mind that there is a vast difference in who observant Jews believe the messiah to be and who we know Him to be. They are expecting two saviours, one the son of Joseph and one the son of David. One from the tribe of Ephraim (Joseph) and one from the tribe of David if I recall.
You decide. Either way, it's on us to be watchful but be ready!

ReplyDeleteA meteor exploded in the Earth's atmosphere with ten times the energy of the Hiroshima atomic bomb

"While you were living your life on December 18th, 2018, a giant space rock exploded 16 miles above the Earth's surface, giving off ten times the energy of the atomic bomb detonated over Hiroshima. No big deal."
This is an interesting event as a photograph of the event has been circulating taken by Japan's Himawari satellite. See the following Twitter posting on the event,

This event stands out to me as the photo was captured from a satellite not designed to capture such events and from a distance of some 40K km distant! Quite literally a *wilderness* away. The day on which this occurred was Tuesday, December 18, 2018. I have yet to drill down on the exact time of the event, but in general, it occurred 33 days prior to the Total Lunar Eclipse of Sunday, January 20, 2019, during which another meteor was witnessed impacting the moon right after totallity occurred. The 33 days may standout as the timing between the Great American Solar Eclipse of Monday, August 21, 2017, and the beginning of the Great Sign on Shabbat Shuba at the Feast of Trumpets.
It was interesting to note the power released in the explosion of the meteor last December. The fireball was compared to the Little Boy fission bomb dropped on Hiroshima. That weapon yielded on the order of 10-13kt (kilotons) of TNT. The meteor was estimated to have released energy 10 times that or equivalent to one W76-1 thermonuclear warhead which is currently in service with United States strategic nuclear forces. The W76-1 is a variable yield weapon with the "W76 Mod 0 and Mod 1 has a yield of 100 kilotons." (Quoting Wikipedia - linked below)

The December fireball occurred on month ten, day ten (M10D10) according to Torahcalendar.com which is recorded as the "Fast of Month 10" marking the Siege of Jerusalem. A review and study of: 2 Kings 25:1, Jeremiah 52:4 and Zechariah 8:19 are in order.
I have the feeling this only scratches the surface of data to consider in this event. This information was collected as part of my study of the two witnesses of (Revelation 11:3-13 ESV) and is offered for anyone who wants to run with it as my time is limited and I wanted to get this out there ASAP.
