A Plausible Chronology

This [highly-speculative-not-Thus-saith-the-LORD] chronology improves upon previous research and is based on "The Final Four" scenario; it manages to reconcile a number of well-attested dates, including James Ussher's traditional creation date based on the Masoretic Text (4004 BC), the traditional date of the Exodus (1446 BC), the traditional date of the entrance into the Promised Land (1407–1406 BC), Ezekiel's jubilee (574–573 BC), and several historically-observed Shmita years as established by the remarkable Jewish historian Ben Zion Wacholder (ironically born on September 23rd of 1921), including AD 70 and 133.

Notably, this chronology shifts from using the civil Tishri to Elul calendar to the biblical Nisan to Adar calendar. The motivation is threefold: first, because God explicitly states that Nisan will be the first month for Israel (Ex. 12:1–2); second, because in the context of Shmita cycles and jubilees, Tishri is regarded as the seventh and not the first month (Lev. 25:8–9); and third, because historical types and shadows of the Abomination of Desolation have occurred in the mid-summer to mid-winter timeframe, rather than the mid-winter to mid-summer timeframe (while many focus on the Passover season in this regard, historical occurrences have occurred in the opposite half of the year: think both Temple destructions, Av 9, Antiochus/Hanukkah, the Nazi Wannsee Conference, etc).

  1. I'm curious as to where you get the idea that Adam fell 33 years after creation. The Bible doesn't give us any idea. The Book of Jubilees claims Adam fell 7 years, 2 months and 17 days after creation.

We have an eclipse this year on April 8, which incidentally is Nisan 1.

    1. It's not my place to answer, as the question was not directed at me, but I think you'll find the solution by tying those 33 years of Adam's innocence to the generally accepted age of Jesus before the cross. The "second Adam" existing in earthly innocence for that same amount of time.

And then, of course, there's all of the math homework that goes along with bringing all of that into sync with the various calendars, timelines, and historical evidence.

    2. Thanks for the question! It's what's gleaned from the millennial day-age assumption (i.e., history reflects the days of creation; 1,000 = 1 day). If 2031 is the year of Christ's return, which seems very plausible if AD 31 was the year He departed, then working back 6,000 years brings us to a point *after* creation if the traditional creation date is held. Establishing Adam's age as 33 at the Fall was not the point, but that turned up to be an interesting happenstance corresponding with Jesus' age when He reversed the Fall.

    3. I paused over this question as well, because it might potentially be a source of a certain discrepancy as far as I can see, stemming from Genesis 1. Over here we have an account of creation, going day by day. For context, I don't subscribe to any day-age type theory as I don't see a reason to believe they are anything but literal 24-hour days.

In Genesis 1:24-31 there is an account of creation done on the 6th day, written in a similar pattern to the other days, starting with "And God said..." ending with "And there was evening, and there was morning—the 6th day".

Sandwiched in this day-account is a blessing in Genesis 1:28 - "God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”".

I personally don't see any reason to believe that this was after the fall, as all the rest of Genesis 1 speaks directly of the moments of creation, there is no indication verse 28 is "incongruous" or outside the chronology of the creation account.

If we agree on that, it would mean that God blessed Adam and Eve on the day of creation (6th day) to be fruitful and multiply. If that were the case and we simultaneously take into consideration the 33-year-creation-fall gap hypothesis, it would mean that either:
      A. God spoke this blessing on the 6th day and then "paused"(?) it for 33 years until the introduction of sin into the world
      or
      B. Adam and Eve could have potentially multiplied for 33 years before the fall, which as far as we know (and from the plain reading of Scriptures) they didn't - why not?

I don't very much like option A as I don't think God's creation blessings are contingent on the existence of sin. Surely the Lord created the world in such a way that it could have functioned in a way similar to now, except without evil and death. Overpopulation wouldn't be a problem, as it could be prevented through natural fertility reduction with increasing population, which is something that can be observed even in this fallen world.

That would leave option B or some kind of variation of it. I don't like the idea of Adam and Eve having children pre-fall at all, as it introduces a cargo ship's worth of theological and scriptural problems (where are they? why aren't they mentioned? did they eat of the fruit too? ...), so that would pretty much only leave the option that they simply didn't multiply for 33 years in "defiance" of God's blessing (slightly "provocative" wording intended - it would mean they waited for 33 years to obey God's blessing/command and only acted on it AFTER the introduction of sin - disobedience - which is quite paradoxical).

I don't think it's likely they didn't understand what God meant by "multiply" because apparently even the animals did instinctively (and if He knew they wouldn't understand - He wouldn't tell them, or He would have explained it better).

Please understand I'm not trying to knock Gary's timeline, these are my genuine thoughts and if there is a resolution to this problem, I will happily accept it, as I, like many others, have (by secular reckoning) a completely failed life and wish for nothing but to be with the Lord. My prayers are with anyone feeling the same way (like Jeremy in the comment below) and I ask anyone reading this to keep me in your prayers too.

      Thank you,
      -Matt

    4. Great thoughts and insight, Matt. I think you raise some important points.

The truth is, the Bible doesn't say one way or another how long Adam spent in Eden before the Fall. We can only conjecture. Was it a short time? A long time? Either possibility raises concerns, although whatever the truth is, it is reconcilable—even if not explicitly taught—in Scripture.

I've been seriously chewing on this question for the past few years after the possibility was raised that the Fall might have occurred decades, rather than mere years or months, after creation (namely, because of the twin Rev. 12 / Gen. 3:15-16 Signs of 3974 and 3915 BC).

Interestingly, the Bible makes no explicit claim that Cain was the firstborn, although it seems self-evident (first birth mentioned in Scripture besides prophecy itself in Gen. 3:15-16). We can be sure his birth occurred after the Fall (Gen. 4 vs. 3), *after* Adam and Eve left the Garden. Moreover, Cain was reprobate, further indicating he was born after the Fall. Further, Eve's response to the birth of Cain seems indicative of the firstborn: "With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man" (4:1).

Besides not knowing exactly how long Adam was in the Garden pre-Fall, we also do not know his [apparent] age at creation. Scripture (Genesis 5) appears to count Adam's age from his creation, not taking into account his apparent age (i.e., he was not created as an infant since he married and named animals on the very day of his creation).

So, to the point you raised: how could Adam and Eve possibly have lasted 33 years without reproducing? A possible answer is, I think, found in Genesis 5. It's the list of the antediluvian patriarchs. Excluding Enoch who did not taste death, the average age of these patriarchs who lived and died entirely before the Flood was 907.5 years. The youngest was Lamech (who died at 777) and the oldest Methuselah (969). The first three consecutive patriarchs born entirely after the Flood—Arphaxad, Shelah, and Eber—lived less than half the average (mid-400s). Then came Peleg who lived during the time of Babel. He died in his 200s, as did his son Reu and grandson Serug.

Now here's the point I'm making: not only did the antediluvian patriarchs live far, far longer than the postdiluvian patriarchs, but their BEGETTING AGES were much greater, as well. In fact, not just twice as old, but three, four, or five TIMES as old.

Now Adam had Seth when he was 130. We don't know how old Adam was when he had Cain and Abel, so let's scratch him from our list. It's an unknown. But Seth 105, Enosh 90, Kenan 70, Mahalalel 65, Jared 162, Enoch 65, Methuselah 187, Lamech 182, and Noah 502.

After the Flood, all the patriarchs had begetting ages in their 20s or 30s, a mere fraction of the antediluvian begetting ages. In Genesis 5 and 11 we can't necessarily determine which sons in the list were firstborn, but probability dictates some were. Moreover, if they represent a mixed sampling of firstborn, middle, youngest, etc, then these begetting ages are still useful in comparing antediluvian and postdiluvian reproduction cycles.

The youngest antediluvian begetting age is Enoch's at 65. The oldest is Noah's at 502. The average is 156.

      Delete
    5. The youngest postdiluvian begetting age is Nahor at 29. The oldest is Abraham at 100 (which was an issue of infertility). Note that Terah may have had Abraham anywhere from age 70 to ~180 (Scripture doesn't say exactly). Assuming Terah had Abraham sometime between 70 and 180, the average postdiluvian begetting age is only 48, less than one-third of the antediluvian.

This gulf becomes even greater when excluding outliers and focusing on the medians. If we exclude Mahalalel and Enoch who begot young, and Terah and Abraham who begot old, our begetting age comparison looks more like: 162 vs. 30. That's an antediluvian begetting age 5.4 times greater than postdiluvian.

The point is twofold: First, we simply don't know a lot about the pre-Flood world. It was certainly different. People lived incredibly long, largely disease-free lives. Comparing our clocks to theirs is a bit like apples and oranges. Second, pre-Flood begetting ages were much, much greater than our own... we're talking three, four, or five times greater. I would argue this is indicative of much slower biological processes: not only of aging, but also of reproduction. People simply didn't have kids in their thirties or forties. As to why this was, see point #1 again: the pre-Flood world was vastly different from our own.

    6. Gary, have you check Stellarium App? I talk about the time Yehoshua was age 1 y.o. is Year -5 / Month 3 / Day 20 (-5/March/20) and OF you count 33 years it will reach the year 27. That's mean 27 + 2000years it will be 2027 the End of 7 years! So, the Great Tribulation( Jacob's Trouble) the second of 3,5 years will start on this 2024! It will match what happen on 2020: Peace Aggrement - Abraham Accord & PEY Decade & The First time Israel experienced Lockdown at Home like the First Passover & Pandemic!

  2. Personally, I want to type out loud and say that my family has just had the worst 8 months of my entire life. And although I am confident that the Day of the Lord is drawing nearer, and although this really isn't the first best place for prayer requests, I am not too proud to beg each of you for a moment's pause and consideration. It's really come to the point where a firm reliance on God's hand is the only alternative. But what a thing to have available!

I know it's not too much to ask from my extended family here, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for hearing me out, and for your time. I've learned a lot from seeing these last months go by, and it's been a rough journey. But I also know that victory is always guaranteed at the end of the story, when you know the author and finisher of our faith. And our fears are tempered with that faith, whatever the outcome.

Anyway, I would appreciate your prayers and thoughts, and I offer the same for each of you. It seems that everywhere I turn, life is getting significantly and exponentially harder for the people that I encounter, and as much as I would love a good and timely PreTribulation Rapture, it's a bittersweet thing to hope for. I pray that the binding on the Book of Life is bursting from fullness. And that you are also finding some measure of peace with each passing "high-watch" day.

    Thank you.

I love your sentence above: "I pray that the binding on the Book of Life is bursting from fullness." I pray daily for that last lamb to come into the fold, that last baby to be conceived. At some point God will say. That's it, and we will all get out of the horrid world. May God's grace and peace shelter you and yours under the shadow of His wings, today and always. Blessings, Judi

    2. Jeremy – I’m praying for you bro. And I hear ya – it’s been a very tough set of trials over the past several months that I can’t even begin to describe. I think many of us are going through what seems to be preparation for the soon return of our Lord. Zero desire for this world and fully ready to be lifted up in the Rapture. I see God glorified and pleased through our faith as we press ever closer to Him in our darkest hour. I’m certain that you’re as battle weary as I am from the spiritual warfare. My only consolation is that our compassion is being topped off and our sadness is feeding into wisdom. Your mind and heart are clearly still intact.

I have a theory about the 7+7. If the first exodus was terrestrial, and the second, celestial, then maybe the times of plenty could apply to plenty of warnings, signs and wonders and the second seven a time of the scarcity of a good word.

  3. Thanks for all the work, there is a lot of good stuff in there!

Just one thing jumps right out to me and seems a bit off, although I don't want to be nagging: You have the "7 good years" from approx. 2016 to 2023. Sure, 7 even worse years may follow, but as I understand it, Egypt had really GOOD years back then. We had Corona, Ukraine, inflation, natural disasters, you name it. Probably some of the worst years in the last few decades.

(Of course, the very idea of having 7 good and 7 bad years again is highly speculative, and I think connected to some cows born with an apparent "7" on their heads...)

    ReplyDelete

    1. That's a totally fair [and valid] point. I would say that the 7 good years / bad years typology is not important or determinative in this chronology. It's merely an added layer. Perhaps it could be responded that the 7 years prior to the Trib will seem altogether some of the best in history in comparison given that the Trib will be the worst in history. Worldwide wealth and food plentitude is also the greatest it has ever been. Despite COVID craziness, famine is almost non-existent right now.

    1. Given that this Houthi situation in the Red Sea is in response to the Gaza situation (Zephaniah 2), which has been displaying the number 153 in recent events surrounding said Gaza situation, I would say yes, indeed it does have immediate relevancy to our standing as the body of Christ. 153 is tied to the ingathering of souls at the Rapture. I find Gary's article concerning the Gaza situation described in Zephaniah 2 and it's eye-rausing mention of the Rapture of the Church within the same context as Gaza quite enlightening.

If I'm not mistaken, Putin has warned against any action against Yemen. This points up the theme of the bear and the Rapture typology in 2 Kings chapter 2.

Yeah, this is getting quite interesting.

    2. I would say yes, most definitely it does have relevancy for the departure of the Church. The attack against the Houthis in Yemen is all a result of what is taking place in the Red Sea - which is the result of the Gaza situation.

The entire Gaza situation has turned out to be quite prophetic as a signal of the Rapture as Gary observed (or speculated) recently. It is very interesting that in Zephaniah chapter 2, we would have the "gathering together" mentioned in relation to Gaza being abandoned.

This entire Gaza situation has shown some recent signs of the number 153 being attached to it. That number is associated with the Rapture/ingathering of souls in the catching of the 153 fish in John 21.

So, what of Yemen? If I'm not mistaken, Putin of Russia has warned against the country of Yemen being attacked by the West. This has the potential of drawing in Russia. In turn, this points up the emerging theme of the bear and the Rapture typology seen in 2 Kings chapter 2.

      It's all coming together.

  10. About the World Economic Forum, it is only making ordinary people in Europe discontent and destitute, causing them to vote on far-right political parties. See https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/dec/01/younger-voters-far-right-europe "Why are younger voters flocking to the far right in parts of Europe". In my opinion the Revived Roman Empire in Europe will consist of 10 European nations which could have far-right wing political parties in their governments.

"What exactly is the message of this club?" you may ask. Let me start by saying that this is a group of people sponsored by some very wealthy financiers who see little interest in the extreme plans of the World Economic Forum. But does this mean that the opposite is automatically good? If their hope does not lie in aggressive top-down policies, what does it lie in? Only bottom-up policy?"

    Daniel 11:23 (KJV):
23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

    1. I have been mulling over the possibility of some kind of connection between the "populists" and the Antichrist as well, perhaps as a controlled opposition in the spirit of clever deceit of evil, which may be their biggest "strength". But obviously it's very unpopular to consider on Christian sites because people tend to assume that you're an agent of the "other" (clearly also evil) side. I personally don't trust any major (geo)/political side. Perhaps the Antichrist will take a little bit of both and reconcile them, thereby making himself the "peacemaker" who achieved the "impossible".

We will have to watch and see. Hopefully we won't see too much before the Rapture :)

CY, I really liked your idea that the last 7 years were years of plenty . . . of signs and wonders and warnings. I understand why ours differs in that regard, and believe it is worth discussing. We also utilized the Melchizedek scroll and other sources to understand Jewish apocalyptic expectations in the 1st century to explain why the decree of Artaxerxes and the 70 weeks of Daniel are out of phase with the Jubilee cycle. In any case we are in complete agreement with a 2024-2031 70th week, which we believe will follow the fall, or 7th month cycle, of Tishri

    3. A BASIC MODEL FOR DANIEL'S 70TH WEEK

Here's an early draft of the basic model that explores a 2031-2034 Second Coming at Yom Kippur. Each model is pinned to the 1,335th day being Hanukkah I and the lighting of the first candle. The rest of the model is dated from that day -- in other words it is best understood from the end to the beginning.

This version is not annotated for Scriptural references. That's the next step for version -003 and will come as I have time to add that level of detail.

The file is best opened using LibreOffice Calc or OpenOffice Calc and is an *.ods formatted multi-page spreadsheet.

Remember, this very simple model explores the span of the 70th week in terms of a "best fit" per appointed days with the key date being Hanukkah I as the end of the model. This model does not address, nor attempt to address, the timing of the harpazo. I, personally, believe the harpazo to be sometime between now and the beginning of any of the viable models.

Please, bear in mind this is a WIP with the latest version to be available on my website.

Note: Page "2550-2033-XX" is a model that I believe to be not viable. Why? Because Yom Teruah is "Out of Range" for the 2,550 days of the 70th week. The other three models are all viable in the most basic sense.

    5. Subtracting 2550 days from Yom Kippur 2031 which falls on 9/26 comes out to Rosh Hashana on 10/2/24.

    6. You're absolutely right, Sutton. A sobering thought and date that is also known as Yom Teruah, Feast of Trumpets or the Day of Shouting, and begins on sundown on the evening of 10/2 in Jerusalem.

Note: The model linked (above) assumes that Appointed Days begin the evening before.
Thus 10/2 begins Rosh Hashanna which is on 10/3.

  15. Disease X conundrum: The idea is that there are evil doers inventing & spreading lethal viruses causing death, fear & more evil vaccines. That brings to mind a question: Are the evil doers (and their loved ones) who are perpetrating this crime on humanity IMMUNE to their virus inventions? If they are not immune, then they risk death. If they are immune, then why is it not possible for everyone to become similarly immune thereby neutralizing all threats from the invented virus? How does any of this make sense?

    2. The timing of Apophis as Wormwood would place April 13, 2029 in the first half of the 70th week. That would be during the time of the two witnesses and before the Second Woe. Such a model is not hard to produce to see how it may fit. Schedule allowing, I'll draw up a model for that tomorrow unless someone beats me to it using the basic model link I created (above).

      Delete
    3. I'm more inclined to think that Apophis is the millstone thrown into the sea in Rev 18:21.

If Apophis was the object that poisons a third of the world's fresh water, Rev 8:11 would have called that object Apophis, not Wormwood. Second, Apophis is a giant rock. There's nothing poisonous inherent in it.

      Delete
  17. The model that seems a good fit for the close approach of Apophis on Friday, April 13, 2029 is the calendar that ends with Hanukkah I, 2034. The event would occur on day 562 of the 2550 day calendar. Both of the calendars for 2033 and 2035 are out of range as Yom Teruah falls before the calendars begin.

I am not convinced that Apophis is Wormwood and so am NOT dogmatic about this. It's simply what this model suggests as timing for an event that might align with Scripture.

Does this mean we have to wait even longer for the Rapture? Not necessarily. The Day of our Blessed Hope and the beginning of the 70th week do not have to be back-to-back events. A gap may exist of unknown duration. But based on my model studies, I don't expect a large gap. It may be months.

Keep in mind that my studies are focused on (Psalm 90:10) so using 80 prophetic years as a metric in the model. My attention is on a 2031 Second Coming and Apophis is not on that radar screen.

    1. Gap? If millions of people disappear and all the children leave planet earth, would not the left behind notice something is awry? Would it be as in the Days of Noah when people are going about their business buying & selling, eating & drinking, etc.? The element of sudden surprise like a thief in the night loses its meaning if there is a gap after the rapture since the rapture would indeed be a warning. MTH 24: 37 "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." Noah was taken & the flood began immediately thereafter. Lot escaped & fire fell on Sodom immediately thereafter. Luke 17:29 "But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all."

    2. ...and you have my point perfectly Sutton! Perfectly. Some believe there may be a significant gap between the harpazo and the 70th week. I'm not one of them. Is it possible? Yes, it may be possible but I don't believe it probable. As to all of those missing? Where did they go? That is the great deception that is to come on all the earth. L A Marzulli points to aliens (fallen angels) as providing the explanation. I think there are grounds for that perspective.

      Delete
    3. The main reason I suspect there is a sizeable gap between the Rapture and start of the Tribulation is typology. Judgment didn't start right after Enoch was raptured. The seven year famine under Elisha didn't occur immediately after Elijah's rapture.

      Delete
    4. No one noticed Enoch nor Elijah were gone. There was no public event of any significant magnitude whatsoever. It was life as usual unlike what Christ said about the analogous days of LOT & NOAH when everything changed in a blink of an eye after their departure. Christ further warned of deception in the first comment of MTH 24. So indeed that deception may be a rapture explanation like the alien theory which would need to be all but instantaneous with no significant gap for the evil forces to take over. After all, once the restrainer is removed why indeed would the evil forces delay one minute?

      Delete
    5. I don't think it was that nobody noticed Enoch and Elijah were gone so much as nobody cared Enoch or Elijah was gone. If anything, people were glad they were gone.

  18. One thought on the article shared above from SkyWatchTV -- the arrival of Apophis is "what-if'd" as a mid-point event. I would point to the harpazo of the two witnesses, EQ and second woe as well as the AoD and flight of Israel as midway events of the 70th week. Wormwood is a third trumpet event and occurs before the first woe. In light of the events lined up in (Revelation 8) I'm not seeing the transit (or arrival) of Apophis as a mid-point event. Slightly earlier, yes, but not mid-point.

Remember, the first woe comes within the time frame of the fifth trumpet. The sixth trumpet releases war upon the Earth killing 1/3 of mankind. The second woes comes once the two witnesses are gone just before the AC is revealed at the midpoint.

It is interesting the day counts surrounding the suggested arrival of Apophis and for that reason good to bear in mind.

  19. HOW ABOUT ANOTHER MODEL

This is a second attempt at building a model for the beginning of the month of Nisan in 32 AD. Building it was a two part process with one a larger model that counts all of the Sabbaths from now to the beginning of 4 BC. Both models provide modern Gregorian dating, Julian Calendar dating and Julian dates. Also included are the new moons and full moons and on total lunar eclipse (blood moon).

Posting it here for review and will get it on my website as soon as I can.

32 AD the year of the cross?

Please bear in mind that this is a work in progress and is best viewed with LibreOffice Calc or OpenOffice Calc (both freeware) not Microsoft Excel. I am not dogmatic on what was found in this model as it is subject to error. I am prayerfully asking questions and exploring where the evidence leads based on historic record and Scripture.

    Why 32 AD?

This model begins with 32 AD as that is the year that the Dead Sea Scrolls tell us that the Messiah, Melchizedek, will give His life. This then can be expanded to encompass the age that we live in today (beginning to end).

  20. Maybe because it brings amusement but "All Plausible Chronology", modeling aside.

The restraining fore must be removed first, the "Body of Christ going up"

Also before the first seal is opened by the lamb, those redeemed, old and new testament saints out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation sing a new song.

The first seal is the "Peace Maker", He conquers with a peace plan and his powerful western friends do the uprooting, USA and UK. But there can be no peace without a little WAR

The prophecies in the bible are specific concerning the Jews and Jerusalem.

Jesus is clear, concerning the sign of the Messiah.

Paul is also clear concerning the Where, When, How, and Why of our gathering together unto Him.

Makes me ponder about why the 10 virgin parable was taught. Could it be even though the 5 foolish are rejected it brings amazement to them and I often wonder why. The answer they receive is "I never knew You"

  22. You make an interesting observation, Gregg. By the time that Christ had ascended returning to heaven; the OT saints had been taken heavenward (as spirits) by Jesus as part of the first fruits of the first resurrection of the righteous. Abraham's Bosom had been emptied and all who feel asleep in Christ in the meantime were now spirits before the LORD. They would all be there in heaven when John was privy to these things.

Yet, they are missing from the scene given just before the opening of the first seal,

6 And between the throne and the
    four living creatures and among
the elders I saw a Lamb standing,
as though it had been slain, with
seven eyes, which are the seven
spirits of God sent out into all the
    earth.

7 And he went and took the scroll
from the right hand of him who was
    seated on the throne.

8 And when he had taken the scroll,
the four living creatures and the
    twenty-four elders fell down before
the Lamb, each holding a harp, and
golden bowls full of incense, which
are the prayers of the saints.

9 And they sang a new song saying,

"Worthy are you to take the scroll
and to open its seals, for you were
slain, and by your blood you ransomed
people from God from every tribe and
    language and people and nation,"

    (Revelation 5:6-9 ESV)

Not making an argument over this but wanted to share that point of Scripture as IMHO it points to the Restrainer still being on Earth and not yet in heaven.

    That song ends,

10 and you have made *them* a
kingdom and priests to our God,
and *they* shall reign on the
    earth."

    (Revelation 5:10 ESV) [ *Emphasis mine* ]

Note: The use of "them" and "they" not "us" and "we". I don't think the Restrainer has been removed at this point. I believe it has yet to come and that the seals were first being broken in John's day, in the first century.

Different perspectives on things that are not salvation related.

  23. A related question I need to return to, is the nature of the sea of glass that is before the throne. A vision of the spirits inhabiting heaven? We see it in two forms, one in (Revelation 4) and the other in (Revelation 15).

  24. Gary's chart embedded above reads, “Possible rapture in the spring or fall of 2024; commencement of the Tribulation”.

It is prophetically interesting that the upcoming 2nd Great American Eclipse to occur April 8, 2024, (whose path of totality will cross that of the 1st GASE making a giant "X" across America) MIGHT mirror the eclipses of the 1800's. 3 months after the second 1800 eclipse is when the NEW MADRID EARTHQUAKES occurred.

We see the dividing of America in many ways now--especially with what's happening in teXas. Will we see the prophesied GREAT DIVIDE via a 2nd NEW MADRID EARTHQUAKE and the RAPTURE in July 2024?

Of course, I HAD to put all these "X" connections in an article. May it encourage everybody to get eXcited 🥰

“Possible rapture in the spring or fall of 2024; commencement of the Tribulation”.

      Thats pretty vague chief.

But when you truly study the catching away of the “body of Christ” as Jesus and Paul put forth, then you can understand with certainty the “Where, When How and Why” of the Rapture of the Church.

I will try and nut shell it for you.

The dead in Christ rise first. on “First Fruits” that is a Jonah sign of the Messiah. And a shadow of things to come for the Church. That particular shadow of Resurrection and those who rose after Him ( The promise of the full harvest yet to come ) went into the Holy City preaching for 40ty days.

Then ( 40ty days later ) we which are alive and remain ). Also a Jonah sign of the Messiah.

Shall be caught up together ( At the last Trump ). Ascension, shadow cast by the Messiah. ( The full harvest Rapture of the Church )

With them in the clouds. ( That Jesus brought with Him ) when He descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God.

Then came Pentecost, the offering of the Messiah to the Jews By the Apostles.
Only this time the “My two Witnesses” will be offering the Messiah to the Jews.

    2. Gregg, dear Brother, I do lean towards believing the Rapture will follow the pattern of the Harvest Cycle of Israel. If you read my article linked above I include this statement:

"It has been revealed via the Holy Spirit that there will be a small window of time between a great quake and the Rapture in which Those in Christ will be able to witness to the lost."

It hyperlinks to my article Is there REALLY a RAPTURE? where I explain that many Christians won't understand why God would allow such a disaster before the Rapture.

The timeline you share may be absolutely correct. I, however, choose not to be adamant but simply offer what I learn from the Scriptures and share what I believe the Spirit of the Lord is revealing, but we only know and see in part.

For we know in part and we prophesy in part. - 1 Corinthians 13:9 NKJV
For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. - 1 Corinthians 13:12 NKJV

    1. I was collecting web links that are helpful in communicating to Christians (and some that need a wake-up call) about the "nearness" of the end times. There are so many good authors on the web but since I come to this site often, I wanted to use some articles mentioned here.

Here's another link I might pass onto some of my friends about the nearness of a rapture:
      https://paulbenware.com/the-coming-year-and-the-coming-rapture/

Lyn Melvin: I heard you mention something (possibly a long time ago) about Damascus/rapture but I couldn't find the link....something to the effect of when it is about to be destroyed, we go up (same holds true for when the demons come down if I recall).

Honestly, when I first heard that, I made a mental note but didn't give it much thought as I was thinking/hoping "2024" rapture and yet I didn't see Damascus getting destroyed soon.

In the last few weeks we've seen an uptick in skirmishes in that region with the Americans killed in the area (Syria, Iraq).....which seems like more steps leading to the prophesy involving Damascus/Rapture.

Seeing how these events unfold with Damascus might give some insight on how close we are to the rapture (this year?).

    2. Yes, Jon!
It appears we are VERY close to the Rapture happening perhaps as soon as this year! The article you are referring to is of a study I did of Isaiah 17, which I shared in a September 2, 2020, article--Events Before the Rapture. The link to it is within a newer article with additional insights that include excerpts from Corey at End Times: Darkness Descending:
The Damascus Domino and the Rapture

Also, I wanted to give you and anybody interested an update regarding the proposed 40-day ceasefire, so I added the following to my latest article:

After posting this article, news came out of the counteroffer by Hamas which shows they are not serious about negotiating with Israel. Starting at about 11:30 minutes into his 14-minute video, Don Stewart in Breaking News, February 7, 2024 gives an excellent synopsis of the situation. He explains how the United States can apply additional pressure on Israel to end the war because a leftist Israeli Prime Minister made sure Israel was dependent upon the U.S. for the weapons and ammunition it needs to fight Hamas. “We are told the U.S. has threatened to slow down the flow or cut it off completely if Israel doesn’t put some type of ceasefire in place.”

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas is still possible. Therefore, a ceasefire leading to a peace deal THIS YEAR is still possible. (Links available at the original article:

  29. Two small observations about your timeline: Isaac was born in Jubilee year #43. Petah Tikvah was founded as the first Jewish settlement in Zionism in Jubilee year #120. (i.e. almost complete, as 120*50=6000). 120 - 43 = 77, so 77 Jubilees from Isaac, the son of hope, to the settlement of hope.

That's calculated with 49-year-Jubilees, like you do in your chronology. But now we are waiting for the 120 jubilees to complete again, this time as 50*120.
