Israel considering annexing parts of the West Bank...
...and I hope they do. It is their land. But if they do, it should come as no surprise that the world will use R2P to invade Israel.
Mysterious sound heard all around the world!
This is no joke...
Reports are coming in from all across the country and even around the world of a mysterious sound in the sky.
In one area of Florida around 900 people reported the sound. Many even recorded it. Watch this video below and then you can read what I and others think it might be:
My personal opinion? I just don't know. It is very bizarre. The sound was literally shaking houses. No tornadoes were reported. It lasted a solid 20 minutes. Some reported that it lasted a full hour.
1.) War in heaven? (Revelation 12)
2.) Wormwood? (Revelation 8)
3.) An angelic trumpet call?
Who knows!

Israel ready to respond to their attackers
Israel promises forceful response to attack
I believe the man.
I listen to Chuck Missler's alternative view on Gog and Magog. Basically this offers an alternative view, where Israel attacks it's enemies first, destroying Damascus (Isaiah 17) and other neighboring countries. All this before the world comes against Israel.
I believe Israel may be ready to shoot.
1. Israel regathered
Ezekiel 37:12
12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.

If you've been paying attention, you might have noticed the world's use of the new R2P UN-doctrine in the war in Libya.
If there is anything you should watch, it is definitely this. This could be the very doctrine used to "legally" invade Israel and Jerusalem and force the Jews out of the West Bank.

BREAKING NEWS! International war against Qaddafi just authorized
Literally seconds ago, the United Nations Security Council passed a resolution authorizing a no-fly zone against Qaddafi, as well as aerial bombardments against Qaddafi's forces.
Vote was 10 for. 0 against. And 5 abstentions.
LIBYA UPDATE: March 17, 2011
1.) Qaddafi's forces have made a miraculous comeback, pushing rebels hundreds of miles eastward, and retaking much of the country. According to various reports and Twitter posts, the Qaddafi army has surrounded the last rebel stronghold, Benghazi, and is preparing what might be likened to a blitzkrieg.
2.) Today the United States has asked for United Nations Security Council authorization (as if the U.S. really needs the UN's "permission") to bomb ground and aerial targets in Libya in order to halt Qaddafi's advance.

A very strange thought crossed my mind!
This will sound ludicrous at first, but hear me out. I'm not sold or invested in this theory, I just offer it as a possibility:
Could Muammar Qaddafi fulfill prophecies about the man of lawlessness?
In Revelation chapter 6 there are four horsemen mentioned:
The first rides a white horse.
The second rides a red horse.
The third rides a black horse.
The fourth rides a green horse.
Notice that the green horse is the last horse, and immediately precedes the 5th and 6th seals where the Day of the Lord finally comes.
Bizarrely, the official flag of Libya, chosen by Qaddafi, is nothing but green. It has no symbols or markers or anything on it. It is just solid green.
Ok, with that in mind, consider this: there are two great powers on the earth that we recognize as being the source of the antichrist. The first is Socialism. This would be the secular/atheistic/agnostic/EU-type antichrist. The second is Islam. This would be the Middle East-type antichrist.
The official name of Libya is the "Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya". This is a combination of pan-Arabism and socialism. Reminiscent of the Tower of Babel, the word Jamahiriya means "state of the masses". Out of many, one. No individuality, just the state, and the state is represented by Qaddafi.
On the anniversary of the prophet Muhammad's birthday, in 1973, Qaddafi released the "Five-Point Address":
1.) Suspension of all existing laws and implementation of Sharia
2.) Purging the country of the "politically sick"
3.) Creation of a "people's militia" to "protect the revolution"
4.) Administrative revolution
5.) Cultural revolution
Qaddafi himself, calls his political ideology "Islamic socialism". Combining the political theory of socialism with the religion of Islam. His revolution and government is led by "the Green Book":
Could the Green Book be Qaddafi's attempt to copy God, by creating his own "Bible"?
Qaddafi was born the day the Battle of Midway ended (June 7, 1942), so this summer he will turn 69 years old. Might he use his age to suggest he is the fulfillment of Daniel's prophecy? Something to think about.
Ok... now it gets weird. Let's take a look at Daniel's prophecy in chapter 11, verse-by-verse, starting in v. 21.
From 1951 to 1969 Libya was a kingdom ruled by King Idris I. On September 1, 1969, while the people of Libya felt secure and they thought nothing was going on, Qaddafi overthrew King Idris and took control of the country. It came as a surprise to everyone. He was not given the honor of royalty and conquered the kingdom when its people felt secure.
Qaddafi rose to power with a small number of military officers at his side. He led up the 12-member Revolutionary Command Council. 12-members? Could Qaddafi's 12-member council have been a mockery of Jesus' 12 Apostles?
Again, the people of Libya felt secure when Qaddafi took control of the country over a period of just 2 hours. Even Libya's wealthiest provinces fell under his control (especially in the oil-rich central and eastern portions of the country; his revolution was launched in Benghazi).
Qaddafi plotted the overthrow of the fortresses of Bardaï and Zouar in Tibesti, and also Ounianga Kebir in Borkou. These were strongholds in Chad, the large country directly SOUTH of Libya.
Between 1976 and 1987 Libya and Chad were in a state of de facto war. Qaddafi orchestrated a rebellion in Chad and then invaded Chad (King of the South) with thousands of troops.
There have been many assassination attempts against Qaddafi over the years. Much of the knowledge of them is not known. They have all been unsuccessful. In the 1980s France intervened and helped Chad push the Libyans out (Qaddafi's army was "swept away"; 7,500 Libyan troops were killed, 800 armored vehicles were destroyed, and around 30 Libyan aircraft were shot down).
Qaddafi met with each successor leader of Chad personally, and lied to each one. Francois Tombalbaye (Qaddafi helped overthrow this guy), Felix Malloum (ruled Chad 75-78), and Goukouni Oueddei (ruled Chad from 79-82).
This "king of the North" is referring to the antichrist. The one who attacked the king of the South. Libya lost the conflict with Chad and so Qaddafi turned his focus on attacking the "holy covenant" (Christians and Jews):
Between 1984 and 1986 Qaddafi financed an Islamic gang in Chicago with the intention of having them kill white Christians.
Qaddafi supported the 1985 terrorist attacks in Rome and Vienna, which killed 19.
In 1986 Libyan state television announced that Libya was training suicide squads to attack American and European interests.
On 5 April 1986, Libyan agents bombed "La Belle" nightclub in West Berlin, killing three people and injuring 229 people who were spending evening there. Gaddafi's plan was intercepted by Western intelligence
In late 1987 French authorities stopped a merchant vessel, the MV Eksund, which was delivering a 150 ton Libyan arms shipment to European terrorist groups.
A SIDE NOTE: After 1973, Qaddafi was aligned with the Soviet Union in opposition to the Christian West and Israel.
It is generally thought that Gaddafi exported weapons to the socialist FARC terrorists in Colombia... FARC kills those on Colombia's right (i.e. traditional Christians).
In 1988 Libya orchestrated the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, full of western Christians, that resulted in the deaths of 243 people. During this year's rebellion in Libya, a defector admitted that Qaddafi personally ordered the bombing.
This again may refer to Qaddafi's continued invasions of Chad, directly south of Libya, between 1976 and the 80s.
France and the United States, from the western coastlands, opposed him and helped kick him out of Chad. For years, US warships had skirmishes with the Libyan navy in the Gulf of Sidra. And in 1986 the US aircraft carriers Saratoga, America, and Coral Sea launched aircraft against Libya. Reagan ordered these air-strikes, which bombed targets in Tripoli and Benghazi.
Here we have the next several decades. Qaddafi continued to support terrorism around the world against Christians, Jews, and the West.
Ok... keep verses 31 and 32 in mind. The next part of the prophecy is an interlude, which mentions the fallen saints who are killed by the antichrist:

Interestingly, though he espouses "Islamic Socialism", he has been opposed to Islam in many ways, as you can see now in the current civil war. He denounces Al Qaeda constantly. He is not regarded as very religious and literally exalts himself above everything. He is the King of Kings--so he thinks.
In regards to the "desire of women", this is very interesting: Not only does he oppose the Jews and the desire of a Jewish woman to give birth to the Messiah, but he disregards women in general. He has an all-female body guard brigade, which must remain celibate and unmarried as long as they protect him:
This man has personally orchestrated the overthrow of fortresses. He honors military might, power, and above all--himself.
From here on out, I'm assuming the rest has not occurred yet. The lands he conquers at the time of the end he will portion out to rulers. This probably refers to the 10 kings of Revelation who are given power to rule for one hour.
"King of the South". Could it be Chad again? Or Sudan? Or the African Union as a whole? Could the king of the North be the EU or Russia, which try to destroy him?
The rebellion in Libya was supposed to have been won by the Rebels. They controlled everything except Tripoli and Sirte. Now, just in the last several days, Qaddafi has made a miraculous comeback. He has taken Ras Lanuf and now Brega. He is almost to Benghazi. The protests are dying down in the west as the protesters realize they cannot overthrow him.
Suppose for a moment that what we are witnessing is the mortal head wound of the beast... or suppose Qaddafi literally gets a head wound and recovers... because many countries have criticized him now, the momentum that he is building will not end in Benghazi. Suppose he charges east into Egypt and tens of thousands rally to his army as he says he will be the one to destroy Israel and institute worldwide socialism/Islam.

He makes it to the Promised Land, but does not capture Jordan.
Egypt is the country directly due east of Libya. The country is in turmoil awaiting a leader.
He already manages to retake control of the Libyans and then, at some point in the future, he takes control of Egypt and Ethiopia.
At this point the False Prophet has made the world to follow the beast. Socialists all around the world rally to his cause. Muslims all around the world rally to his cause, as well. But China and Russia ("reports from the east and north") will not want to fold into the world government. Russia will invade Israel in the battle of Gog and Magog, but will be defeated. Then China will march across the Euphrates and confront the antichrist at the battle of Armageddon.
Qaddafi is the world leader specifically known for having royal tents. Qaddafi was born in a Bedouin tent in Sirte and whenever he travels abroad he takes his royal tent with him. He tried to have his tent set up in New York City on Donald Trump's property.

Ok... now let's take a look at another part of Daniel. This is chapter 8's description of the antichrist:
Notice that the antichrist arises in the midst of rebels. What are now experiencing in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Yemen, Bahrain, Oman, Syria, Iran, and even in the United States may be the prophesied rebellion.
Qaddafi's strength and power will be consolidated as he retakes Libya. He will have tremendous momentum and rally many to his cause. He will use deceit and intrigue to convince the world to side with him. The False Prophet will show up on the scene and give the antichrist power ("not by his own power"). The world will be astounded as the beast, which suffered the mortal wound is revived and begins succeeding in whatever he does. The False Prophet will begin performing miracles, which will convince the wicked world to follow the beast. He will have answers for everything.
He will push eastward. Retaking Libya first, then, possibly months or years later, taking Egypt. After this he will invade the "Beautiful Land" and take control of the temple fortress (i.e. the Temple Mount). He will desecrate the temple, set up the image, and impose the worldwide mark.
Christ will then return and overthrow him.
So I know this theory is really farfetched. I'm just offering it as a possibility in light of what is going on. Qaddafi will probably be isolated and/or overthrown. But if... and this is a big if... if Qaddafi retakes Libya and consolidates power things may change. Socialists and Pan-Arabists love the guy. Chavez, Farrakhan, and many others are infatuated with him. Most of the world hates him, but if that begins to change, just watch and keep your eyes open.

From 1951 to 1969 Libya was a kingdom ruled by King Idris I. On September 1, 1969, while the people of Libya felt secure and they thought nothing was going on, Qaddafi overthrew King Idris and took control of the country. It came as a surprise to everyone. He was not given the honor of royalty and conquered the kingdom when its people felt secure.
Qaddafi rose to power with a small number of military officers at his side. He led up the 12-member Revolutionary Command Council. 12-members? Could Qaddafi's 12-member council have been a mockery of Jesus' 12 Apostles?
Again, the people of Libya felt secure when Qaddafi took control of the country over a period of just 2 hours. Even Libya's wealthiest provinces fell under his control (especially in the oil-rich central and eastern portions of the country; his revolution was launched in Benghazi).
Qaddafi plotted the overthrow of the fortresses of Bardaï and Zouar in Tibesti, and also Ounianga Kebir in Borkou. These were strongholds in Chad, the large country directly SOUTH of Libya.
Between 1976 and 1987 Libya and Chad were in a state of de facto war. Qaddafi orchestrated a rebellion in Chad and then invaded Chad (King of the South) with thousands of troops.
There have been many assassination attempts against Qaddafi over the years. Much of the knowledge of them is not known. They have all been unsuccessful. In the 1980s France intervened and helped Chad push the Libyans out (Qaddafi's army was "swept away"; 7,500 Libyan troops were killed, 800 armored vehicles were destroyed, and around 30 Libyan aircraft were shot down).
Qaddafi met with each successor leader of Chad personally, and lied to each one. Francois Tombalbaye (Qaddafi helped overthrow this guy), Felix Malloum (ruled Chad 75-78), and Goukouni Oueddei (ruled Chad from 79-82).
This "king of the North" is referring to the antichrist. The one who attacked the king of the South. Libya lost the conflict with Chad and so Qaddafi turned his focus on attacking the "holy covenant" (Christians and Jews):
Between 1984 and 1986 Qaddafi financed an Islamic gang in Chicago with the intention of having them kill white Christians.
Qaddafi supported the 1985 terrorist attacks in Rome and Vienna, which killed 19.
In 1986 Libyan state television announced that Libya was training suicide squads to attack American and European interests.
On 5 April 1986, Libyan agents bombed "La Belle" nightclub in West Berlin, killing three people and injuring 229 people who were spending evening there. Gaddafi's plan was intercepted by Western intelligence
In late 1987 French authorities stopped a merchant vessel, the MV Eksund, which was delivering a 150 ton Libyan arms shipment to European terrorist groups.
A SIDE NOTE: After 1973, Qaddafi was aligned with the Soviet Union in opposition to the Christian West and Israel.
It is generally thought that Gaddafi exported weapons to the socialist FARC terrorists in Colombia... FARC kills those on Colombia's right (i.e. traditional Christians).
In 1988 Libya orchestrated the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, full of western Christians, that resulted in the deaths of 243 people. During this year's rebellion in Libya, a defector admitted that Qaddafi personally ordered the bombing.
This again may refer to Qaddafi's continued invasions of Chad, directly south of Libya, between 1976 and the 80s.
France and the United States, from the western coastlands, opposed him and helped kick him out of Chad. For years, US warships had skirmishes with the Libyan navy in the Gulf of Sidra. And in 1986 the US aircraft carriers Saratoga, America, and Coral Sea launched aircraft against Libya. Reagan ordered these air-strikes, which bombed targets in Tripoli and Benghazi.
Here we have the next several decades. Qaddafi continued to support terrorism around the world against Christians, Jews, and the West.
Ok... keep verses 31 and 32 in mind. The next part of the prophecy is an interlude, which mentions the fallen saints who are killed by the antichrist:

Interestingly, though he espouses "Islamic Socialism", he has been opposed to Islam in many ways, as you can see now in the current civil war. He denounces Al Qaeda constantly. He is not regarded as very religious and literally exalts himself above everything. He is the King of Kings--so he thinks.
In regards to the "desire of women", this is very interesting: Not only does he oppose the Jews and the desire of a Jewish woman to give birth to the Messiah, but he disregards women in general. He has an all-female body guard brigade, which must remain celibate and unmarried as long as they protect him:
This man has personally orchestrated the overthrow of fortresses. He honors military might, power, and above all--himself.
From here on out, I'm assuming the rest has not occurred yet. The lands he conquers at the time of the end he will portion out to rulers. This probably refers to the 10 kings of Revelation who are given power to rule for one hour.
"King of the South". Could it be Chad again? Or Sudan? Or the African Union as a whole? Could the king of the North be the EU or Russia, which try to destroy him?
The rebellion in Libya was supposed to have been won by the Rebels. They controlled everything except Tripoli and Sirte. Now, just in the last several days, Qaddafi has made a miraculous comeback. He has taken Ras Lanuf and now Brega. He is almost to Benghazi. The protests are dying down in the west as the protesters realize they cannot overthrow him.
Suppose for a moment that what we are witnessing is the mortal head wound of the beast... or suppose Qaddafi literally gets a head wound and recovers... because many countries have criticized him now, the momentum that he is building will not end in Benghazi. Suppose he charges east into Egypt and tens of thousands rally to his army as he says he will be the one to destroy Israel and institute worldwide socialism/Islam.

He makes it to the Promised Land, but does not capture Jordan.
Egypt is the country directly due east of Libya. The country is in turmoil awaiting a leader.
He already manages to retake control of the Libyans and then, at some point in the future, he takes control of Egypt and Ethiopia.
At this point the False Prophet has made the world to follow the beast. Socialists all around the world rally to his cause. Muslims all around the world rally to his cause, as well. But China and Russia ("reports from the east and north") will not want to fold into the world government. Russia will invade Israel in the battle of Gog and Magog, but will be defeated. Then China will march across the Euphrates and confront the antichrist at the battle of Armageddon.
Qaddafi is the world leader specifically known for having royal tents. Qaddafi was born in a Bedouin tent in Sirte and whenever he travels abroad he takes his royal tent with him. He tried to have his tent set up in New York City on Donald Trump's property.

Ok... now let's take a look at another part of Daniel. This is chapter 8's description of the antichrist:
Notice that the antichrist arises in the midst of rebels. What are now experiencing in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Yemen, Bahrain, Oman, Syria, Iran, and even in the United States may be the prophesied rebellion.
Qaddafi's strength and power will be consolidated as he retakes Libya. He will have tremendous momentum and rally many to his cause. He will use deceit and intrigue to convince the world to side with him. The False Prophet will show up on the scene and give the antichrist power ("not by his own power"). The world will be astounded as the beast, which suffered the mortal wound is revived and begins succeeding in whatever he does. The False Prophet will begin performing miracles, which will convince the wicked world to follow the beast. He will have answers for everything.
He will push eastward. Retaking Libya first, then, possibly months or years later, taking Egypt. After this he will invade the "Beautiful Land" and take control of the temple fortress (i.e. the Temple Mount). He will desecrate the temple, set up the image, and impose the worldwide mark.
Christ will then return and overthrow him.
So I know this theory is really farfetched. I'm just offering it as a possibility in light of what is going on. Qaddafi will probably be isolated and/or overthrown. But if... and this is a big if... if Qaddafi retakes Libya and consolidates power things may change. Socialists and Pan-Arabists love the guy. Chavez, Farrakhan, and many others are infatuated with him. Most of the world hates him, but if that begins to change, just watch and keep your eyes open.

Jesus' Return Predicted
The Bible has plenty of examples of dates being predicted. I share two as a foundation for the prophecy concerning the rapture of the church.
First let me say that I am a literal 6 day creationist and believe the earth is 6,000 years old (6 days) and that the millennial reign will be 1,000 years (1 day). 6 + 1 = 7 days.

Ezekiel's 430 Days

Prophetic Simile
The Prophet Ezekiel was called upon to undertake a number of strange performances, one of which was to lie on his side for a total of 430 days. 1 Each day was expressly to represent a year of judgment against the nation.
A number of commentators acknowledge a difficulty which appears when one attempts to apply this specifically to Israel's history. Seventy of the years would seem to be accounted for in the Babylonian Captivity, but that leaves 360 years (430 minus 70) unaccounted for. 2 The 360 years do not seem to fit any period of their history.
Leviticus 26
It has been suggested by some that there might be a clue in Leviticus 26, where God indicates that:
...if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. -Leviticus 26:18
(In fact, this commitment is reiterated four times in that chapter for emphasis.3 )
It has been suggested that multiplying the "problem" 360 years by seven yields 2520 years, which is "approximately" the duration of time from the exile through the Diaspora.
This seemed rather contrived. Furthermore, it had bothered me since I never like to use the term "approximately" and "God" in the same sentence! I felt that if it was meant to fit, it would fit precisely.
Calendar Reconciliation
Sir Robert Anderson, in his classic work The Coming Prince,4 noted that the Bible uses 360-day years in both Genesis and Revelation.5 However, I noticed that no one seemed to try to apply this insight to the 2520 years potentially suggested in Ezekiel Chapter 4.
In attempting to reconcile the 2520 360-day years to our Roman calendar, one is faced with the discrepancies between the sidereal year and the solar year. (The Julian year is 11 minutes and 10.46 seconds longer than the mean solar year.)
In 1572, it was recognized that errors had accumulated to 11 days too many, and adjustments were required. In the Gregorian Reform, September 4th was declared September 14th, and the formula for leap years was changed to exclude centuries unless divisible by four (and millennia by 400). Thus, 2520 360-day years contain 907,200 days, which are accounted for on our current calendar as 2483 years, 9 months and 21 days:
2483 x 365 = 906,295 days
9 months x 30 = 270
21 days 21
Leap Years - 2483/4 = 621

+11 7

2520 x 360 = 907,200 days
Great. But what do we do with this? Where do we begin to apply it?
Terminus Ad Quem
Another problem occurs when we examine more closely the "Babylonian Captivity." There are two different periods that are candidates: "the Servitude of the Nation," and the "Desolations of Jerusalem." Each of these was prophesied to be seventy years in duration and many assume they are synonymous of each other; however, they are not.
There were actually three sieges of Nebuchadnezzar upon Jerusalem. The first siege began the "Servitude of the Nation" and was prophesied to last 70 years. (And it did, to the very day.8 When Cyrus conquered Babylon he encountered the amazing letter written to him by Isaiah a century and a half earlier, which addressed him by name, highlighted his meteoric career, and predicted that he would free the captives. His astonishment resulted in his releasing the Hebrew captives to return to Judea to rebuild their temple.)
The vassal king that Nebuchadnezzar left later rebelled; a second siege resulted in his uncle, Zedekiah, being appointed to the throne. The prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel both went on to warn that if they persisted in rebelling against Nebuchadnezzar the city of Jerusalem would be destroyed. Yet Zedekiah ultimately yielded to the false prophets and rebelled.
A third siege resulted in the destruction and desolation of the city of Jerusalem. The "Desolations of Jerusalem" also lasted 70 years, until Nehemiah ultimately succeeded in getting the authority to rebuild the city of Jerusalem. This, too, was precisely 70 years. To which of these two periods should we apply the 2520 years?
The "Servitude of the Nation"?
The 70 years of servitude, to be consistent, should be reckoned as 25,200 days, or two days short of 69 years on our Roman calendar. The first siege of Nebuchadnezzar, in 606 B.C., began the "Servitude of the Nation," which lasted until the summer of 537 B.C. If July 23, 537 B.C. was the time of their release:

On May 14, 1948, the nation Israel was reestablished on the world scene. A remarkable coincidence. Isaiah appears to have highlighted this very restoration:
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. -Isaiah 11:11, 12
Yet, there is another alternative application of the 2520 years:
The "Desolations of Jerusalem"?
The third siege of Nebuchad-nezzar, in 587 B.C., began the "Desolations of Jerusalem," which lasted until 518 B.C. If August 16, 518 B.C. was the completion of the walls of Jerusalem, then:

On June 7, 1967, as a result of the Six Day War, the Biblical city of Old Jerusalem was restored to the nation. Another remarkable coincidence!
It should be borne in mind that the "starting" dates are not known precisely to the day. More research needs to be done. But this certainly seems provocative enough to ponder.
Whence Jerusalem?
Zechariah predicted that the day would come when the entire world would be against Jerusalem, and that it would prove intractable to resolution. 9 Even as this goes to press, a climax is in the making.
Yassir Arafat has announced that Jerusalem will be the declared capital of a Palestinian State on September 13th of this year. Ehud Barak has indicated that he would annex the "West Bank." President Clinton has called for a meeting at Camp David in the hopes of bringing this to a "permanent resolution."
Many are optimistic that some kind of permanent peace can be arranged. Most of us know, from a Biblical perspective, that no real peace will occur until the Prince of Peace intervenes. In fact, the enforcement of a seven-year covenant, by a coming world leader, is the very definition of the "Seventieth Week" of Daniel.10
The current "piece (sic) process" is virtually a guarantee of war because it is built on a false premise: it's based on the assumption that the Muslim interests can be appeased by reducing the borders of Israel.
The Muslims, however, have made it very clear - before, during, and subsequent to the Oslo Accords - that they will be satisfied with nothing less than the extermination of Israel. They are insisting on what Israel cannot give. All we can do is watch the unfolding drama.
Let us remember that:
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. -Psalm 121:4
Perhaps an ostensible peace treaty will emerge on the international scene; we'll be watching with intense interest. It certainly does seem that we are moving along the classic Biblical scenario. What a critical time to prioritize your Bible study time and do your homework!
Is April 6, 32 A.D. the exact prophetic date that Daniel spoke of concerning the arrival of the Messiah to Jerusalem. This is the event we now know as the the triumphal entry when Jesus arrived in Jerusalem. Daniel 9:25, "So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress. Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing.”
There are four possible decrees that were given to restore Jerusalem all around a hundred years of each other, however there is only one that mentions the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem, which makes it the strongest candidate. Artaxerxes gave the command during the month of Nisan, which would be between February 27 to March 14, 445 B.C.
Nehemiah 2, “In the month of Nisan in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was brought for him, I took the wine and gave it to the king. I had not been sad in his presence before; so the king asked me, “Why does your face look so sad when you are not ill? This can be nothing but sadness of heart.” I was very much afraid, but I said to the king, “May the king live forever! Why should my face not look sad when the city where my fathers are buried lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire?” The king said to me, “What is it you want?” Then I prayed to the God of heaven, and I answered the king, “If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favor in his sight, let him send me to the city in Judah where my fathers are buried so that I can rebuild it.” Then the king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked me, “How long will your journey take, and when will you get back?” It pleased the king to send me; so I set a time. I also said to him, “If it pleases the king, may I have letters to the governors of Trans-Euphrates, so that they will provide me safe-conduct until I arrive in Judah? And may I have a letter to Asaph, keeper of the king’s forest, so he will give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel by the temple and for the city wall and for the residence I will occupy?” And because the gracious hand of my God was upon me, the king granted my requests. So I went to the governors of Trans-Euphrates and gave them the king’s letters. The king had also sent army officers and cavalry with me. When Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite official heard about this, they were very much disturbed that someone had come to promote the welfare of the Israelites.”
We know that a week equals seven years as used in the context mentioned in Daniel. "Seven weeks and sixty two weeks" would tally up a total of sixty nine weeks. The Jewish calendar has a three hundred and sixty day year, so sixty nine weeks of three hundred and sixty day years would equal 173,880 days, Artaxerxes gave the command to rebuild Jerusalem no later than March 14, 445 B.C., Jesus pronounced Himself King on April 6, 32 A.D., from March 14th, 445 B.C. to April 6, 32 A.D. is a total of 173,880 days. Right on target.
Let's look further and do the math using the Jewish calendar using a 360 day year.
69 weeks of years equates to 69 (weeks) x 7 (years) = 483 (years)
483 (years) x 360 (days of the year) = 173,880 (days until Messiah)
March 14, 445 B.C. to April 6, 32 A.D = 173,880 days
This also works if we use the 365 day calendar year.
476 years (from March 14, 445 B.C. to March 14th, 32 A.D.) x 365 days per year = 173,740 days
173,740 days + 116 days (leap years) + 24 days (March 14th to April 6th) = 173,880 days.
Ok here is my thought about the rapture:
Hosea 6:2
After two days he will revive us;
on the third day he will restore us,
that we may live in his presence
(He will revive us. Not He will revive His son - singular. Us - plural).
We know there were 4,000 years +/- minus from Adam to Christ. Two thousand years left. Mount Sinai to the Cross - 2,000 years. These years were exclusively for the Hebrews. Christ opened the door to the Gentiles. When He did, when He entered Samaria, how long was He there?
John 4:1-40
Jesus Talks With a Samaritan Woman
1 Now Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that he was gaining and baptizing more disciples than John— 2 although in fact it was not Jesus who baptized, but his disciples. 3 So he left Judea and went back once more to Galilee.

The Disciples Rejoin Jesus

Many Samaritans Believe
39 Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days.
Two thousand years are over. Israel is back.
Matthew 24:32-34
32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
Matthew 24 is generally taken as a prophecy of Israel return.
If you calculate Pentecost 2011 minus Easter 32AD you get 1979 years. If you count the days, you get 722,884 days / 360 days (Jewish calendar) = 2,008 years since His Resurrection.

Sir Robert Anderson, in his classic work The Coming Prince,4 noted that the Bible uses 360-day years in both Genesis and Revelation.5 However, I noticed that no one seemed to try to apply this insight to the 2520 years potentially suggested in Ezekiel Chapter 4.
In attempting to reconcile the 2520 360-day years to our Roman calendar, one is faced with the discrepancies between the sidereal year and the solar year. (The Julian year is 11 minutes and 10.46 seconds longer than the mean solar year.)
In 1572, it was recognized that errors had accumulated to 11 days too many, and adjustments were required. In the Gregorian Reform, September 4th was declared September 14th, and the formula for leap years was changed to exclude centuries unless divisible by four (and millennia by 400). Thus, 2520 360-day years contain 907,200 days, which are accounted for on our current calendar as 2483 years, 9 months and 21 days:
2483 x 365 = 906,295 days
9 months x 30 = 270
21 days 21
Leap Years - 2483/4 = 621

Great. But what do we do with this? Where do we begin to apply it?
Terminus Ad Quem
Another problem occurs when we examine more closely the "Babylonian Captivity." There are two different periods that are candidates: "the Servitude of the Nation," and the "Desolations of Jerusalem." Each of these was prophesied to be seventy years in duration and many assume they are synonymous of each other; however, they are not.
There were actually three sieges of Nebuchadnezzar upon Jerusalem. The first siege began the "Servitude of the Nation" and was prophesied to last 70 years. (And it did, to the very day.8 When Cyrus conquered Babylon he encountered the amazing letter written to him by Isaiah a century and a half earlier, which addressed him by name, highlighted his meteoric career, and predicted that he would free the captives. His astonishment resulted in his releasing the Hebrew captives to return to Judea to rebuild their temple.)
The vassal king that Nebuchadnezzar left later rebelled; a second siege resulted in his uncle, Zedekiah, being appointed to the throne. The prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel both went on to warn that if they persisted in rebelling against Nebuchadnezzar the city of Jerusalem would be destroyed. Yet Zedekiah ultimately yielded to the false prophets and rebelled.
A third siege resulted in the destruction and desolation of the city of Jerusalem. The "Desolations of Jerusalem" also lasted 70 years, until Nehemiah ultimately succeeded in getting the authority to rebuild the city of Jerusalem. This, too, was precisely 70 years. To which of these two periods should we apply the 2520 years?
The "Servitude of the Nation"?
The 70 years of servitude, to be consistent, should be reckoned as 25,200 days, or two days short of 69 years on our Roman calendar. The first siege of Nebuchadnezzar, in 606 B.C., began the "Servitude of the Nation," which lasted until the summer of 537 B.C. If July 23, 537 B.C. was the time of their release:

On May 14, 1948, the nation Israel was reestablished on the world scene. A remarkable coincidence. Isaiah appears to have highlighted this very restoration:
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. -Isaiah 11:11, 12
Yet, there is another alternative application of the 2520 years:
The "Desolations of Jerusalem"?
The third siege of Nebuchad-nezzar, in 587 B.C., began the "Desolations of Jerusalem," which lasted until 518 B.C. If August 16, 518 B.C. was the completion of the walls of Jerusalem, then:

On June 7, 1967, as a result of the Six Day War, the Biblical city of Old Jerusalem was restored to the nation. Another remarkable coincidence!
It should be borne in mind that the "starting" dates are not known precisely to the day. More research needs to be done. But this certainly seems provocative enough to ponder.
Whence Jerusalem?
Zechariah predicted that the day would come when the entire world would be against Jerusalem, and that it would prove intractable to resolution. 9 Even as this goes to press, a climax is in the making.
Yassir Arafat has announced that Jerusalem will be the declared capital of a Palestinian State on September 13th of this year. Ehud Barak has indicated that he would annex the "West Bank." President Clinton has called for a meeting at Camp David in the hopes of bringing this to a "permanent resolution."
Many are optimistic that some kind of permanent peace can be arranged. Most of us know, from a Biblical perspective, that no real peace will occur until the Prince of Peace intervenes. In fact, the enforcement of a seven-year covenant, by a coming world leader, is the very definition of the "Seventieth Week" of Daniel.10
The current "piece (sic) process" is virtually a guarantee of war because it is built on a false premise: it's based on the assumption that the Muslim interests can be appeased by reducing the borders of Israel.
The Muslims, however, have made it very clear - before, during, and subsequent to the Oslo Accords - that they will be satisfied with nothing less than the extermination of Israel. They are insisting on what Israel cannot give. All we can do is watch the unfolding drama.
Let us remember that:
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. -Psalm 121:4
Perhaps an ostensible peace treaty will emerge on the international scene; we'll be watching with intense interest. It certainly does seem that we are moving along the classic Biblical scenario. What a critical time to prioritize your Bible study time and do your homework!
Is April 6, 32 A.D. the exact prophetic date that Daniel spoke of concerning the arrival of the Messiah to Jerusalem. This is the event we now know as the the triumphal entry when Jesus arrived in Jerusalem. Daniel 9:25, "So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress. Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing.”
There are four possible decrees that were given to restore Jerusalem all around a hundred years of each other, however there is only one that mentions the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem, which makes it the strongest candidate. Artaxerxes gave the command during the month of Nisan, which would be between February 27 to March 14, 445 B.C.
Nehemiah 2, “In the month of Nisan in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was brought for him, I took the wine and gave it to the king. I had not been sad in his presence before; so the king asked me, “Why does your face look so sad when you are not ill? This can be nothing but sadness of heart.” I was very much afraid, but I said to the king, “May the king live forever! Why should my face not look sad when the city where my fathers are buried lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire?” The king said to me, “What is it you want?” Then I prayed to the God of heaven, and I answered the king, “If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favor in his sight, let him send me to the city in Judah where my fathers are buried so that I can rebuild it.” Then the king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked me, “How long will your journey take, and when will you get back?” It pleased the king to send me; so I set a time. I also said to him, “If it pleases the king, may I have letters to the governors of Trans-Euphrates, so that they will provide me safe-conduct until I arrive in Judah? And may I have a letter to Asaph, keeper of the king’s forest, so he will give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel by the temple and for the city wall and for the residence I will occupy?” And because the gracious hand of my God was upon me, the king granted my requests. So I went to the governors of Trans-Euphrates and gave them the king’s letters. The king had also sent army officers and cavalry with me. When Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite official heard about this, they were very much disturbed that someone had come to promote the welfare of the Israelites.”
We know that a week equals seven years as used in the context mentioned in Daniel. "Seven weeks and sixty two weeks" would tally up a total of sixty nine weeks. The Jewish calendar has a three hundred and sixty day year, so sixty nine weeks of three hundred and sixty day years would equal 173,880 days, Artaxerxes gave the command to rebuild Jerusalem no later than March 14, 445 B.C., Jesus pronounced Himself King on April 6, 32 A.D., from March 14th, 445 B.C. to April 6, 32 A.D. is a total of 173,880 days. Right on target.
Let's look further and do the math using the Jewish calendar using a 360 day year.
69 weeks of years equates to 69 (weeks) x 7 (years) = 483 (years)
483 (years) x 360 (days of the year) = 173,880 (days until Messiah)
March 14, 445 B.C. to April 6, 32 A.D = 173,880 days
This also works if we use the 365 day calendar year.
476 years (from March 14, 445 B.C. to March 14th, 32 A.D.) x 365 days per year = 173,740 days
173,740 days + 116 days (leap years) + 24 days (March 14th to April 6th) = 173,880 days.
Ok here is my thought about the rapture:
Hosea 6:2
After two days he will revive us;
on the third day he will restore us,
that we may live in his presence
(He will revive us. Not He will revive His son - singular. Us - plural).
We know there were 4,000 years +/- minus from Adam to Christ. Two thousand years left. Mount Sinai to the Cross - 2,000 years. These years were exclusively for the Hebrews. Christ opened the door to the Gentiles. When He did, when He entered Samaria, how long was He there?

Jesus Talks With a Samaritan Woman
1 Now Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that he was gaining and baptizing more disciples than John— 2 although in fact it was not Jesus who baptized, but his disciples. 3 So he left Judea and went back once more to Galilee.
4 Now he had to go through Samaria. 5 So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph. 6 Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.
7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” 8 (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)
9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)
10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”
11 “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?”
13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”
16 He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.”
17 “I have no husband,” she replied.
Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. 18 The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.”
19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.”
21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”
26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”
The Disciples Rejoin Jesus
27 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?”
28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 29 “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” 30 They came out of the town and made their way toward him.
31 Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.”
32 But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”
33 Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?”
34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. 35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. 36 Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. 37 Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. 38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”
Many Samaritans Believe
39 Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days.
Two thousand years are over. Israel is back.
Matthew 24:32-34
32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
Matthew 24 is generally taken as a prophecy of Israel return.
If you calculate Pentecost 2011 minus Easter 32AD you get 1979 years. If you count the days, you get 722,884 days / 360 days (Jewish calendar) = 2,008 years since His Resurrection.
