Inner Beauty, True Strength, and the Blessed Life

In the beginning God made mankind according to His own image (Gen. 1:26–28):

And God says, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over [the] fish of the sea, and over [the] bird of the heavens, and over livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth.” And God creates the man in His image; in the image of God He created him, a male and a female He created them. And God blesses them, and God says to them, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over [the] fish of the sea, and over [the] bird of the heavens, and over every living thing that is creeping on the earth” (LSV, emphasis mine).

Part of being God's image bearer is ruling over the rest of creation as a co-ruler with God. The first man and woman were created to first receive God's blessing in order to rule and reign on the earth, multiplying and filling the earth for His glory.

After the Serpent's deception and man's subsequent rejection of God, instead of inheriting a blessing, man and woman inherited a curse (Gen. 3:16–19). And as a result, instead of lasting peace and harmony in relationships, there is now perpetual backbiting, envy, jealousy, and every kind of evil driving a wedge between the children of Adam.

Praise be to God, He has sent His Son to become a curse for us (Gal. 3:13), so that we can inherit a blessing once again (Gal. 3:14). And now by faith in Jesus, men and women can be born again of imperishable seed in order to reflect God's image and glory, not only in this age, but in the ages to come (1 Pet. 1:22–25).

In this week's section of 1 Peter (3:1–12), take a look at what Peter has to say about reflecting the image of God in marriage (3:1–7) and in all relationships within the Body of Christ (3:8–12). No longer are the men of God to abuse their authority and rule as power-hungry tyrants (3:7), and no longer are the women of God to act as harlots and use their physical appearance to seduce and manipulate (3:1–6). Rather, all of God's children are called to turn away from the evil thoughts and actions of the cursed inheritance of the Fall, and they are to instead act on their blessed inheritance by blessing others (not cursing) and pursuing peace with everyone (3:8–12).

This article is about a possible agreement between Russia, Ukraine and Europe after Ukraine has won the war and the Russian army has been exhausted by this war in Ukraine. This agreement might be extended to the Covenant with the many which the antichrist will confirm.

  4. “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it,"

Should be "and replenish the earth"

I know it's a small detail to some, but it is a big deal.

    1. Wow, what universe are you in? No leader in all Europe or North America even comes close to the level of bravely and conviction and patriotism that he shows. Every other leader would have been evacuated before the first shell landed. He's out in the city, and said no matter what he's not leaving. He puts on a helmet and military uniform and is an inspiration to people all over the world. When they came to evacuate him, he said "I don't need a ride, I need ammo".
He's a great candidate for the AC, but whoever it is, - doesn't really matter because we will be raptured away first. That's why Paul said encourage one another with these words.

  8. Hi everyone! I have been a part of this beloved family for the past three years. Gary and company, I am so thankful for this platform, and I so look forward to hearing from everyone who contributes to making this such a great place of fellowship.

I don't claim to be a scholar or teacher, or know a lot, but there are some things that I have been thinking about and wanted to bring it to all of my friends here...especially in light of everything going on and our humble desire for our blessed Savior to take his bride home.

I have been a pre-tribber since I got saved 41 years ago. I explore other opinions, regularly, that I believe to be sound teaching regarding the rapture of the church. About 3 months ago I stumbled upon Loveisrael.org with Messianic Jewish teacher Baruch Korman. His teaching of Revelation has presented explanations of some of my questions that I have pondered for years. Some of his explanations may not be what I want to hear in terms of going thru the birth pains or the seals, but it makes sense to me. He doesn't stand on pre-, mid- or post- tribulation. His stand is pre-wrath rapture only.

In my thinking, and study, I concluded that Noah and his family were taken out (shut up in the ark, with God closing the door)before the wrath of God brought Judgement on the earth of that time. Lot and his family were led out of Sodom and Gomorrah before the wrath of God's judgement destroyed the cities, as well, but John, Paul and Elijah where raptured to be taken to another location and not to be saved from any judgement or wrath of our God. It also seems to me that being delivered from wrath or judgement was for a group of people.

Revelation chapter 5:8-10 shows the Lamb worthy to take the scroll and open the seals because He was slain, and by his blood, He purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue and people and every nation. His purchase (by his blood, that's why he is called the Lamb) made us a kingdom and priests to serve God. In Chapter 7:9-10, John looked and saw a multitude from every nation and tribe, and people and tongue wearing white robes. One of the elders asked John who those in the white robes were and where they come from. John told the elder, that he knew....He said that they were the ones who have come out of the great tribulation.

The same description of people described in Rev. 5:9 are the same ones described in Rev. 7:9, except, now, in Revelation 7:9 it shows them in the throne room with the four creatures and the twenty-four elders taking their position of being a kingdom and priests. That appears to show us raptured at this point in time in Revelation. We washed our robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. The rapture takes place before the seventh seal. We are promised to have tribulation and trouble, Jesus told us this in John 16:33, but we are not promised to wrath.

Please respond. I would really like to hear what you think. Thanks!

    Carmon

    3. There are a lot of teachings and different views on the timing of the Rapture. I believe the best way to settle our hearts in this matter is to have a personal revelation from Jesus. Jesus said that when the Holy Spirit comes He is going to lead us into all truth. Apostle John also said that the anointing that we received from Him abides in us and teaches us all things.

I remember one time I was doing a comprehensive study on this subject and the more knowledge I got from the different sources the more confused I became.

Then I asked the Lord to give me a personal revelation on the timing of the Rapture.

I was meditating on the story of how Jesus revealed who is going to betray Him to John. Judas is the type of AC, because Jesus called him the son of destruction (perdition). It is the same way the apostle Paul called AC in his letter to Thessalonians.

So I kept thinking about how Jesus dipped the bread and gave it to Judas and how after the piece of bread, Satan entered him. I couldn’t understand the significance of this act and how it relates to our time.

Then the Lord changed my focus from Him dipping the piece of bread to John leaning on the breast of Jesus. Then it came to me like a flash of lightning that this act of John is the type of the Rapture of the church.

As John leaned on the bosom of Jesus, so the Church is going to be gathered close to Him and meet the Lord in the air. Apostle Paul wrote that while we are in this body we are absent from the Lord but after the Rapture when we going to be in the new body and we will be present with the Lord.

Only after we going to meet the Lord in the air is the son of destruction going to be revealed as Judas was. It goes in line with the word that apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonians about the removal of the Restrainer and the revelation of the lawless one after that.

I pray that the Lord gives you the revelation about the Rapture as well and comforts your heart that you don’t need to go through the tribulation. As apostle John wrote: “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear...”

    4. I’ve probably made this recommendation here in the past, but it’s certainly worth repeating. After the passing of a few decades, and the reading of a couple hundred books either about, or including aspects of the subject, one stands above the rest: ‘Things to Come’ by Dwight Pentecost.

One of the best aspects of the book is that it was written in 1958, long before the subject became regular and fashionable, a dynamic that in itself has produced a flood of sometimes unworthy material. Dwight begins his masterwork with the subject of interpretation, which is key to everything that follows. He then presents the whole picture of the main belief systems, how and when they developed, and what they’re based upon, Scripturally. The book is beautifully written and structured, and worthy of being a reference book on anyone’s library shelf. Through the years, I’ve read it five times. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed, regardless of your ultimate set of beliefs.

    6. Hi Carmon,

41 years... nice! Some points to ponder...

:: It is one of the elders that asks John who those in white robes are (Rev 7:13). There is quite a bit of evidence showing that the elders represent the glorified, rewarded Church in Heaven (on Unsealed see https://www.unsealed.org/2018/08/who-are-24-elders.html). If that is the case, and I believe it is, then the elders representing the Church are in heaven from ch 4 far before any tribulation saints go up in ch 7 and the two groups are distinct.

:: The elders answer their own question concerning the identity of these ch 7 saints. "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation". Renown Greek Scholar A.T Robertson says this phrase is a 'Present middle participle with the idea of continued repetition. “The martyrs are still arriving from the scene of the great tribulation” (Charles).' In other words, this entrance into Heaven of the Ch 7 saints is not a one off or sudden event like the Rapture but is a continual ongoing appearance of saints into Heaven from the Great Tribulation. ie Martyrdom.

:: If the saints in Rev 7, who have come out of the Great tribulation, are the Church at the Rapture, then the Church has entered that time (the Great Tribulation) which Jesus said is worse than any before it and will never be again (Matt 24:21). And this obviously would contradict Jesus' own promise to the Church to keep them from that time (Rev 3:10). So they can't be the Church.

:: You will notice that Rev 7 has no coming of the Lord, no trumpet, no shout, no command, no open Heaven etc... if this was the rapture it has none of the signs to look for. We are much better to find the rapture pictured in Rev 4:1-2 where John is caught up into heaven (with an open Heaven, the voice & command from the Lord, a trumpet etc) to see 'what must take place after these things'. 'These things' speak of the Churches and the Church age - ie everything from Rev 4:1 onwards is AFTER the Church age, what takes place after it. This ties in with the structure/order of Revelation from Jesus in Rev 1:19.

:: Also consider that the wrath of God begins with the seals and not the trumpets and or bowls. Each seal and judgement therein has only one source - Jesus, in Heaven. He initiates them all and no one else can. Consider also that in the seals there is death by sword (Rev 6:7-8), famine (Rev 6:5,6,8), wild animals (Rev 6:8) and pestilence and plague (Rev 6:8). This is not new. Look at Ezek 14:21 where the same judgements are are called by the Lord 'my four dreadful judgments'. All of the judgements from chapter 6 onwards are from the hand of the Lord and the Church is not destined for any of it (1 Thes 1:10, 5:9, 2 Pet 2:7-9)

Anyway... cool that you are still searching and meditating on these things. Hope some of that helped or maybe gave you more to ponder on : )

      God Bless.

    7. PS I liked your illustration Paul - Thx. And 'Things to Come' is a great book DW. Really comprehensive... I know when Dr Mark Hitchcock wrote 'The End' he wrote in the preface that 'Things to Come' has set the standard for end time prophecy for over 50 years. His goal for 'The End' was that in some small way it might provide for this generation what Dr Pentecost did for his : )

  10. The theme of the Colossian letter is the supremacy and all-sufficiency
of Christ as Paul addresses the work and personage of Christ, heresy
and the connection of Christ to the believers.

It is in this letter that Paul reveals what turns out to be the path to the
understanding of the Rapture, but whose meaning was kept a mystery
until its time to be known would be revealed in the unsealing of the
Prophecy of Daniel, where the time of the end time was kept locked up.

The trail to the Rapture winds through the scorching sands of the
Mideast and the lifestyle of the Jews. Paul told us all about it. He
found reason that we should rejoice the moment we understood it. The
Journey begins with the most important of the teachings, which was
given to the Colossians to stem a heresy.

instead of watching a peace covenant between the Jews and their enemies, the world is
preoccupied with the question, who is the Antichrist? Thereby, getting the cart before the horse
and missing the plethora of end time events unfolding before us.

What Daniel saw was - "In the days of these Kings" - the toes of iron and clay that grow from
the feet (the Moslem Empire) that follow the legs (Rome) in history.

The Jews were not even back in the land when the feet kingdom came and went from history.
The toes kingdom is the residue nations from the Moslem Empire who are the kings in the land
of Nebuchadnezzar's image when the Jews returned to the land in 1948. Those Moslem kings
have had a faction whose one and only purpose is the total annihilation of the State of Israel, and
they have been warring toward that end ever since.

That is how the False Deliverer of the Jews (the people of the Prince that shall come) is able to
come onto the scene through a peace act; he is a Moslem king who is bringing peace and security to the Jews. "And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one seven."

  11. Hmmm....let's see,

Napoleon Bonaparte was 5'6", my wife's height. Benito Mussolini was 5'7". Joseph Geobbels was 5'5" and Adolf Hitler was 5'9", my mom's height in her younger years. Pastor Rich measures in at a whopping 6'3"!!!

Does that make me candidate for a maniacal charismatic and satanic leader? Well, let's see, Gen George Patton was 6'2". Gen George Washington was 6'2". King Henry VIII was 6'2", Edward IV was 6'3" but lest we forget the ladies...

Queen Victoria was 5'0", Queen Elizabeth I was 5'4" and her highness Queen Elizabeth II is between 5'1" and 5'4".

According to studies of the shroud of Turin, Jesus was muscular and stood upwards of 6'2".

A little fun fact for your day!

  12. A few days ago I had a dream:
My wife and I were on the bus that was going up the hill and I looked out the window. There I saw 2 helicopters in the sky that collided. One helicopter was Russian and the other one was American.

In the “Azovmena prophecy” given to Philip Barnet in 2007, he spoke of a nuclear war between Russia and the United States, as well as safe places where left behind people can take shelter from nuclear explosions.

He also received the word from the Lord that a nuclear war would take place on the 11th day of the 11th month. November 11, 1620, is the day the Mayflower Compact was signed. The first day of the US and the last day.
    More details in here

The WW1 has ended on November 11 as well. I think there is a significance to it. The nuclear exchange on November 11 could be the end of WW3 and the peace treaty following after it.

Jesus said that as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man. In Genesis 7:11 we can read: "In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened"

The second month in the Jewish calendar is the month of Cheshvan. The 17th of the month of Cheshvan this year falls exactly on November 11th.

Bay the way, the meaning of the name Methuselah is "a man with a rocket" and the Flood began on the earth the year he died.

    1. OF METHUSELAH

I am studying Ken Johnson's, "Ancient Order of Melchizedek" in which I quote,

"Enoch was an amazing prophet. He named his son Methuselah. That name is made up of two Hebrew words: 'meth' meaning 'death' and 'selah' meaning 'to send.' These two words put together form a Hebrew sentence. Methuselah's name means 'when he is dead, it shall be sent.' If you look carefully at the genealogical records given in Genesis 5, Jasher 5-6, and the Seder Olam 1, it is clear that Methuselah died in the year of the flood."

      I see a simple translation of מְתוּשָׁלַח "met/meth" ("מְת") as "dead" and "selah" ("שָׁלַח") as "send" or "dead and send". Mechanically these words break down to meaning, ("מְ") "water/chaos/mighty/blood" plus ("ת") "mark/sign/signal/monument" ("וּ") and ("שָׁ") "sharp/press/eat/two" plus ("לַ") "teach/yoke/authority/bind" and ("ח") "wall/outside/divide/half".

Indeed, the flood can be seen in all of these concepts when strung together. Remember, ancient Hebrew understood each letter to be a hieroglyph with individual meaning. String the letters together as words they tell their own story.

Remember too that each letter is a number as well. The number of the name, ("מְתוּשָׁלַח") is,

      8 + 30 + 300 + 6 + 400 + 40 = 784

      ...which itself is the product of two prime numbers (2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 7 × 7).

We all know a flood of fire is to come upon the Earth. We also know that Jesus Himself promises the Church,

      10 Because you have kept
      my word about patient
      endurance, I will keep you
from the hour of trial that
is coming on the whole world,
to try those who dwell on
      the earth.

      (Revelation 3:10 ESV)

Those who dwell on the earth do not include the Spirit filled body of Christ His Church. It is the apostate and unbelieving world. Those who seek other gods. Sadly, these are the ones who will meet death when the next "flood" is sent. And for what? That they may have their pride? And yes, the church yet to be born will taste of those days as well. These are the ones John met who were coming out of the Tribulation -- all of which underscores the criticality of our witness to a perishing world!

Remember, this is the only hell we will ever know. For those far from God, this may be the only heaven they ever know. It is our God given responsibility to help fill the empty seats on the Ark of Christ! Share the Love God has given you in Christ Jesus with those He gives you today.

There are plenty of pre-paid tickets and seats awaiting for whosoever will say, "I do!"

    3. The Azovmena prophecy was given to pastor Philip Barnett in 2007 when he was in Ukraine. He lived there for 26 years and built the church in Kyiv.

In that prophecy that he preached in the church of Kyiv, he said that Russia is going to attack Ukraine and the Lord showed him 2 evacuations from the city of Kyiv. The first one before Russia attacks Ukraine and the second one before the nuclear war.

In 2007 many Ukrainian were mad with him and said that he is a false prophet because no one here in Ukraine could even imagine such a thing back then. But people changed their minds when Russia annexed Crimea and occupied the Donbas region in 2014.

The first evacuation from Kyiv was already fulfilled on February 24, 2022, when a huge number of cars and buses left the city.

The Lord also showed him that after the rapture of the church there is going to be a nuclear war between Russia and America that going to happen on November 11 (no year was given). Russia is going to attack Israel (Gog and Magog) and it will lead to this world nuclear conflict.

The Lord also showed him places of refuge for the left behind people in countries like Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia, the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The Lord cares not only for His Church that He is going to rapture but also for the left behind people. That’s why he gives this word, so those who believe after the Rapture might find a place of refuge.

As for Canada, he said that when the Russian nukes are going to fly over Canada toward the United States the US anti-rocket system is going to blow some of them over central Canada, north to the lake of Michigan. The whole of central Canada going to melt because of multiple explosions in the air over the area.

As believers in Jesus, we don’t have to be afraid of the things coming unto the world, because Jesus promised us to keep us from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world.

    6. THINKING ABOUT WAR AGAINST ISRAEL

Watching the news of Russian losses in Ukraine it seems clear that Putin's conventional military ground forces will be greatly degraded in the years to come. Russian doctrine clearly supports bombardment from arms length which is itself a picture of the rider of the white horse, note the bow as a stand-off weapon.

Nazi Germany honed their weapons, skills and tactics in the Spanish Civil War just as Russia has done the same in Chechnya, Georgia, Syria and now Ukraine. Given the range of modern stand-off missiles it seems likely that if a strike against Israel were to take place it could be centred on stand-off munitions like cruise and other missile systems.

But with the Russian army bogged down in Ukraine and their numbers being reduced at such a rate; it is hard to fathom them trekking across country to physically invade Israel by ground forces over land. Especially with how long it would take to move an army that size such a distance and for what reason? A friendly visit? Such movement doesn't go unnoticed.

No. Such an attack on Israel would likely come in advance of the deployment of their new missile defence system(s) and in response to aid that Israel *may* provide to Ukraine in terms of missile and air defence. Such an attack would almost certainly be coordinated with other neighbouring states and political organizations in the region.

      God bless and protect Israel.

God bless and protect those who fight tyranny.

      God bless Ukraine.

  13. Dear Paul and Unsealed family,

Thank you for everything I read here. You have all lifted me up out of some despair my husband and I have been going through the last 3 weeks and mostly the last 2 days because of medical issues. Paul, I definitely want to thank you for sharing about the Azovmena Prophecy that I have never heard of!!! You see, I have been seeing 11:11 on the clock for many months now and maybe the prophecy you told us about is why? I think God speaks to me in numbers. I don't get rapture dreams that I remember anyway. I've asked God why I don't get the rapture dreams like so many people and all I hear in my head is that I'm already watching for it??? But, the November 11 thing is amazing to me and probably explains why all the time I see 11:11 on the clock. Well, I know there are praying people that come here and this is what is happening with my husband, Scott. I cannot say that he isn't a Christian but he is not one who goes to church much, talks about Godly things and hates it when I talk about the end times. I consider myself a watchman, I've been watching world events and have been listening to prophecy teachers for at least the last 10 years. Anyway, a long time ago I've prayed that Scott would be more on fire for God or that God would get his attention. Well, the attention part has definitely happened now that 3 weeks ago he went to the hospital for heart palpitations and strange feeling in the chest. They kept him overnight and did lots of tests. One of the imaging tests revealed a mass in his pancreas. Finally, last Thursday he went in for a biopsy and Friday he read the results on his account from the hospital/healthcare group about the biopsy. He read the scientific words for cancer. Yesterday we went back to the ER because he couldn't breathe well. They found one of his lungs is 1/2 full of fluid. The doctor told us it might/probably has malignant cells in it. He can't have the lung drained until tomorrow, Monday. God has his attention now and mine!!! But now, my guilt over praying that something would happen so that Scott would be born again is weighing down on me. I've told God that I only prayed that Scott would give Him his whole attention not for death but for life!!! Now I am soooo scared this is all because of me and what I prayed. I prayed this knowing something bad could happen but also knowing our eternal life is more important than this life but I don't want him to die either death, not physically and of course not spiritually. Sorry, for this very long note but I am very upset and scared and know what it feels like to be in hands of the living God. Now I pray for the Rapture even more than before and I prayed that it would happen all the time anyway. If there is Godly advice, I'll take it. I know Jesus loves us more than we will ever know but right now I feel so responsible for what Scott is going through. IS this all my fault??? So many questions and so many tears. Wow, that November 11 stuff is blowing my mind though. I'm praying the Rapture is this Spring, Song of Solomon 2, but I need my husband and sons truly worthy of the rapture and myself too. Can't wait for our heavenly bodies that won't have cancer or our brains that won't have bitterness and guilt.

    2. Many of us have been seeing 11:11 for a while -- especially since the Great Sign.

    3. Dearest Rhonda,

Count on my prayers for you, your husband and family at large. Please be assured that God knows your heart and more so what is best for all of us. His best is what He offers everyday in bringing us closer to Him through becoming more like Him. Our "Yes!" to God in Christ is our guarantee of worthiness before the Father in heaven. All we need do it believe. Check that box and you're good for eternity and that's what it's all about! Life eternal begins the moment you say, "Yes!" to Jesus. For us there is no death; only a temporary temporal separation that will pass like a mist from the ones we love.

Our church administrator just kicked lung cancer -- his second bout with cancer since we became a mobile campus. The church has just purchased a new home and he is cancer free!

Seek prayer warriors wherever you can and share the story God gives you along with way. Trust in all of God's promises knowing what waits on the other side no matter what. For we will not taste death those who have partaken of the bread of life! No matter what life throws at us; God's got this and He is not about to let go of us.

Jesus never let go. God never fails!! He made sure IT WAS FINISHED!!!

Praying for your peace, provision and total healing and restoration.

      Grace and peace to you,

      PR

    4. Dear Sister Rhonda, I understand very well because we want our loved ones to come to Jesus and follow Him so much that sometimes we pray that God will intervene, knowing that it can hurt our dear loved ones. God knows it, as he knew in advance that you would pray in this way. He is loving and just, so he wouldn't do anything beyond what the human can endure. He knows what to do, when, how long, and everything. He already knew how to act for your husband long before you asked, and it was in his plan, no mistakes with our wonderful Father! I will pray for you both.

    5. Rhonda, humbly I say that it is quite arrogant for anyone to think that anything they say or do could or would affect God’s plans. He knows all and is in complete control. While we have free will, He knows what we will do and say. His plans will not be swayed. Some of us require more drastic measures to awaken to Him. Stop focusing on yourself, maybe this is what it will take for your husband to finally realize his need for the Savior.

  14. I'm curious to know during which time of the year did Saul/Paul travel to Damascus with the start of the Church Age....would be amazing if it ends there as well...so I'm wondering if he traveled there in the Spring?

  15. Thank you JS and Pastor Rich, I appreciate all that you both said. It's like I know I shouldn't feel guilty about what is happening with Scott but I can't help feeling responsible. We will trust God in whatever happens and believe that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!! Amen

  18. Maranatha 321, Vicki, Ozark and all, thank you soo very much for your prayers. My husband's lung was drained of fluid yesterday and he can breathe easier, praise God. Now he's dealing with the pain from the needle going to his lung, yikes. We will talk to the other doctors about the cancer found this week. Again, thank you for all your prayers. May our departing be soon to be with the Lord!
