The Summer Harvest (Part II)
The Church as the First-Fruits of the Summer Harvest
Introduction
“Church of the Firstborn(s)” - Hebrews 12:23
We (the Church) are the “firstborn ones” in the sense that we are born again (or born from above/glorified) first prior to Old Testament saints, Tribulation saints, the remnant of Israel, Millennium saints, et al—exclusively because we are baptized by the Spirit into Christ’s body during this Age of Grace (1 Cor. 12:13; Gal. 3:27; Eph. 3:2-6).
The parallel image or pattern is taken from the agricultural realm: we are also “firstfruits.” There are multiple New Testament passages that affirm our status as, not only “firstborn ones,” but also “firstfruits” of the Lord’s ongoing harvest of souls (for an in-depth study, see the Unsealed article, “Church of the Firstborn Part I”).
Bikkurim
The Hebrew plural bikkurim, “first-fruits” (Strong’s 1061), stems from the root word bakar, “first-born” (Strong’s 1069). Humans are not only referred to as bakar (“first-born”) in the Bible, but they are also metaphorically represented by the various fruits from God’s Land (think parables involving: figs, wheat, grapes, olives, etc.). Exodus 23:19, “The first of the firstfruits of your land you shall bring into the house of the LORD your God…”
Make note of this principle: The “firstfruits” of the harvest are reaped, gathered, and taken directly to be stored in God’s house!
The Feast of the Harvest of Firstfruits & Pentecost
The word bikkurim “firstfruits” is not associated with Tabernacles (the third major season of appointed times more broadly referred to as “the Feast of Ingathering” - Ex. 23:16; 34:22).
Also, the season of “Pentecost” isn’t so much a single day as it is a series of “weeks” which account for the entire summer harvest season. “Pentecost” simply means “fifty-count,” it is the same word from Acts 2:1 and also used in Leviticus 25:10 (LXX) in regard to the “fiftieth” year of jubilee.
There are several first-fruit gatherings in addition to barley and wheat/grain: wine, oil (olives), figs, dates (honey), etc.
The Firstfruits (Tenths/Tithes) Go Into the Storerooms of God’s House
See Nehemiah 10:37, 39; 13: 5, 12 (“first-fruits” = tenths/tithes that go into God’s house)
Nehemiah 10:35-39: “And we made ordinances to bring the firstfruits of our ground and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, to the house of the Lord; to bring the firstborn of our sons and our cattle, as it is written in the Law, and the firstborn of our herds and our flocks, to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God; to bring the firstfruits of our dough, our offerings, the fruit from all kinds of trees, the new wine and oil, to the priests, to the storerooms of the house of our God; and to bring the tithes of our land to the Levites, for the Levites should receive the tithes in all our farming communities. And the priest, the descendant of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites receive tithes; and the Levites shall bring up a tenth of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms of the storehouse.
For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the grain, of the new wine and the oil, to the storerooms where the articles of the sanctuary are, where the priests who minister and the gatekeepers and the singers are; and we will not neglect the house of our God.
The LORD Takes Away the Firstfruits of the Summer Harvest and Stores Them in His House!
Based on our previous video (Part I), prophets such as Amos, Jeremiah, and Isaiah agree and attest to a disappearing summer harvest prior to Israel’s day of trouble (a.k.a., Daniel's 70th week/the 7-year Tribulation period). There are several more prophets who agree on this key biblical teaching:
Micah 7:1-2: First-fruits of summer and Israel’s judgment connected again—with grapes and figs specifically mentioned in parallel to the absence/removal of godly people.
Joel 1:5, 9: (Sweet/fresh wine and grain taken away) and no offering of summer fruit available for Israel (1:12-20). The context of new wine removal occurs prior to Day of the Lord (chapter 2:1). New wine/Spirit poured out in connection with Joel 2:28-31/Acts 2. The new wine that was taken away from Israel is given to the Church and finally restored to God’s Land after the Tribulation (Joel 3:18).
Isaiah 18:1-7: At the sound of a trumpet blast (18:3), angels gather a “gift” to bring to God on Mount Zion (18:2, 7), and summer harvest + grapes mentioned (18:4-6). Cross-reference John 15 (vine & branches + pruning).
Hosea 2: Grain, wine, and oil are mentioned as gifts from God (Hos. 2:8). Remember that these products of the ground/earth also figuratively (or typologically) represent people who are first-fruits unto the Lord. These chosen first-fruits (grain, wine, oil) are sent to proclaim the truth/good news to a disobedient and defiant people, but they are rejected. As a result of this rejection, God judges Israel (and the rest of the world).
**Key Highlights in Text of Hosea 2:8-22**
Hosea 2:9: God “returns” and “takes away” grain & new wine at the appointed time (curiously, no mention of the oil being removed). He takes away the covering of the Lamb to expose Israel's "nakedness."
Hosea 2:14-15: Judgment follows with Israel later brought into the wilderness (cf. Ezek. 20:33-38; Rev. 12:6).
Hosea 2:18-23: The eretz (land that is representative of Israel) finally responds to the grain, wine, and oil after the Tribulation (see especially Hosea 2:22). In other words, the remnant of Israel has been won back to the Lord by believing the message of the Gospel.
Other passages of Scripture seen in new light based on this teaching of the bikkurim, or Christ/Church as the first-fruits of God's summer harvest:
Isaiah 26:20-21 (come, My people, go into your rooms)
Malachi 3 & 4 (the tithes and the storehouse)
Revelation 4 & 5 (God’s house/sanctuary with the newly harvested FIRSTFRUITS of the summer harvest: the glorified CHURCH).

Its quite eye-catching how much this number keeps popping up in the most prophetic of circumstances and situations. Getting the distinct impression that God isn't fooling around and it is just about go time.

Unfortunately, many will not come. But some will if we give them a whiff of what's cookin' in the kitchen. Spread those links around everywhere and anywhere you can. Invite all to the big beast feast in the sky. Warm them to have on the proper wedding garment of faith (in Christ) to be allowed entrance.
Gary and Jeff have certainly presented a fabulous menu of enticements to those in the highways and roadways with its list of piping hot enticements. Some days, it's a menu of mashed potatoes with steak. Some days it's a menu of piping hot Lasagna with a generous layer of Mozzarella cheese. Some days, like today, it's a tall cold one on a blistering summer day with a side of ice cream and steak is the dessert.
Time is short. Drink it up and get busy in them there local streets and on the information super highway.

Most other mainline brews are mere adulterated brews. Horrible aftertaste. They'll have you running around in fear and working like a tormented dog. Then maybe, just maybe, you'll make it to Heaven before being required to brandish those Tribulation Terminator Rambo skills for survival.
DeleteThis here, just the right amount of foam and soothing to the stomach. The foam is specially made to be indicative of white clouds ... as in, running over the side of the can reminding us of a comforting escape into the clouds.
The other brands - not so much. No foam of comfort, just rotten ingredients that have sat around too long and spoiled - bitter to the stomach upon consumption and feeling like "hell" in the morning as the dread of uncertainty and life swarms about you. No raw ingredients used - just adulterated garbage.
That said, can't wait to have another. Looking forward to the next. 👍

Some like to post comments in which the date of the Rapture is 'predicted' by the position of stars and planets, certain Jewish feast days, some important prophetic events, other omens, etc. In my opinion this is Rapture Soothsaying, which is strictly forbidden according to God's Word.

Even our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ doesn't know the date of the Rapture, in Matthew 24:36 (KJV):
"36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

I am the product of the earlier and more intensive teaching and learning process that once was the core of our education system. My brain is too old to change , at this point ! My heart, mind and soul will also continue to 'say' "MARANATHA" ! ( whether it be now, tonight, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, ....et. al. UNTIL HE CALLS US HOME ! this place has not been my home since I can't remember when ...)

A confederacy grown out of the Feet or MOSLEM Empire.
The head, where the mouth is, is established in Babylon, and the territory where the final drama plays out, is established where the feet of the bear are planted, the Medo-Persian Empire.
Under Babylon, the Jews are captured and put into bondage. Under Medo-Persia, the Jews are allowed to return to rebuild Jerusalem & the Temple and resume their life within their own little Theocracy within the Medo-Persian Empire. It is at this time that the decree is given to rebuild Jerusalem, that is the key, to the time to start the clock on the seventy weeks.
The Grecians didn't oppress the Jews much. Before he died, Alexander moved his capital from Alexandria to Baghdad, keeping the mouth in Babylon. As Alexander has no children to succeed him, His generals inherit his kingdom, so it breaks it into four parts.
Two of those parts become prominent; The Ptolemy's; Egypt, and The Seleucid's, who took the northern part of the kingdom. Their territory includes western Iran, Kuwait, Iraq, Syria, and a portion of southern Turkey, Lebanon, Israel and Jordan.
It is into this area that the new super power rises. The Romans, with their evil Prince, comes on the scene, and dominates the world during their rule with harshness and grinding of Law.
But later, Rome adopts a new posture in the world, it embraces Christianity and becomes the Holy Roman Empire and is ruled by Constantine out of the east, in Constantinople, ruling over the territory once ruled by the Grecian generals who divided up Alexander’s Kingdom. All of a sudden, history arrives at a time, when a Holy Roman Emperor from Constantinople is ruling the Old Grecian Empire of Alexander the Great.
During Rome's conquest of that territory, one of her generals won the territory claimed by Alexander's general Seleucus, and placed a tax on the people to pay for the war.
God recorded that event in Daniel, and used it to name the place from which a future vial person, who gets identified as Antichrist, will come from.
That same territory comes into prominence again when God uses it to show where the Antichrist will rule.
Nebuchadnezzar's image depicts four more kingdoms that arise out of Babylon. The last of those kingdoms does not appear on the stage of history until after six of the kingdoms, that had oppressed Israel, would have come and passed from the scene.
Revelation 17 numbers them for you, and history names them. The angel showing John this scene in Revelation 17 says; " . . . The beast that thou sawest was, is not and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit . . . ".
That meant, that the beast, identified as a kingdom, was, at one time, is not, at that time, but its jailed former leader shall ascend, in the future, and become the 8th kingdom to oppress Israel, and he will become the 8th, by possessing the 7th kingdoms King.

ReplyDeleteThat 7th Kingdom is identified as the one coming after five that had fallen, after the one that is, Rome at the time, which is the sixth, and the one that was yet to come, which would be the 7th.
The five fallen kingdoms that had oppressed Israel were; 1. Egypt; 2. Assyria; 3. Babylon; 4. Medo-Persia and 5. Grecia. The one that was, number six, was Rome, and the one yet to come was not known at that time.
What history reflects is that the 7th kingdom to grow over that same territory was the Moslem Empire, ruled by the founder from his kingdom whose borders lie within the borders of the Seleucid Kingdom, which was later controlled by Rome.
That Kingdom, the Kingdom of Muhammad, the Hashemite Kingdom, ruled the Moslem Empire but for a short space, as Muhammad dies, and within a year, the empire split and has never again been the same.
But the Hashemite Kingdom survived, and were the keepers of Mecca and Medina and all the Holy places of the Moslems for over 1,100 years as the generations of Muhammad, the Prophet of Allah, their one true God, continues into the modern times.
History and Scripture have identified the Moslem Empire as the 7th Kingdom, out of which the beast from the bottomless pit arises and possess the heretofore benevolent King, that gets his reconstituted Hashemite throne, from the 10 kings out of the Roman portion of the Moslem Empire, and begins his reign on that land in the heart of the Medo-Persian Empire, speaking great things from the dragon, out of the mouth of Babylon. And, he will move swiftly as the Leopard as he strikes out against God's people, Israel, and conquers Egypt, setting up his throne in Jerusalem.
The rise of the Little Horn of Daniel to full power takes three and a half years from the time of the opening of the first seal in revelation 6. During that rise, 3 dissenting kings from the 10 that opted for peace will be uprooted, and the remainder will give him their backing. A false church led by a false prophet will sing his praises.
Then the possession will take place, the 8th ruler will be in place, abominate the temple, turn on the Jews and double cross what everyone had perceived to be the plan, and the second half of the tribulation, known as the Great tribulation the Great is underway.
Can confirm, the Lord has led me through same scriptures with similar revelation. fwiw.

ReplyDeleteWhen Jesus ascended, 40 days after He rose, he took with him those saints who rose with him 40 days earlier, those that were seen by many in the holy city.
They were the token, promise of the full harvest yet to come, just as the omer of barley (the flour) made from the sheaves of barley picked on Firstfruits, and waved before the Lord, was the token of a full harvest yet to come.
That’s what Paul means when he tells the Thessalonians, in chapter 4 at verse 16 & 17, that the dead in Christ rise first, then we which are alive and remain are caught up together with them in the twinkling of an eye, to be with the Lord forever.
And in fulfillment of the shadow cast by that event on resurrection day, many of the newly resurrected dead in Christ, will be seen by many, just as they once were seen in the holy city.
That is the warning sign God gave us to know that our redemption is only 40 days away!
Am I to understand then from your comment that there is a 40 day window between the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the translation (rapture) of the living in Christ?

Verse 51 says "ALL", and ALL means all...

If you read 1 Corinthians and 1 Thessalonians together it makes sense what Paul taught the Colossians that the feast of the Jews become Shadows of things to come for the Church and the substance casting those shadows is Christ.
You will also notice from 1 Corinthians and 1 Thessalonians as Paul talks about the pryer dead in Christ that Jesus brings with Him all his saints when He does appear.
And Our changing takes place at the last trump but the dead in christ which Paul tells us to watch for, that event happens when the Lord descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God.
We also have to remember Paul was taught everything about the completion of the Church but the timing was locked in Daniel.
Jesus said to the Jews the sign of the messiah is Jonah and he warned for 40ty days,
Shadows of things to come.
The ascension day is the catching away day. Because Jesus cast that shadow Himself.

You can't get around the word connections and context here:

- For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
First sentence clarifies ALL are changed in an instant at the last trump... Not two sets of people.
Second sentence again clarifies both dead resurrected and the living changed at the trumpet, meaning ALL at either the first blast or the last blast. Not two sets of people.
We can look further back in (1 Corinthians 15:20-23) for the order of resurrection.

For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
But each in his own turn: Christ the firstfruits; then at His coming, those who belong to Him.

- Christ Jesus is singularly the Firstfruits, says it in verse 20 & 23.
- First Christ (which has already occurred), then at His coming "those who belong to Him" meaning ALL. Not two groups.
So in this respect I can't accept your interpretation of the event into two parts over 40 days by way of the scriptures themselves. And this does not affect any of God's foreshadowing at all, as it is His to construct, and typical of us to only see the full picture after the fact.

My understanding is there are two separate events and two trumpets but for sure the dead rise first. Question comes up, which ones and it can't be the sleepy ones cause He brings them with Him. The solution for me is the shadow cast by the ones that rose with Christ the token promise of the full harvest yet to come.
And being a Jonah sign for 40 days witnessing about there own resurrection and the impending wrath to come.
And all this is going to happen in Jerusalem. So with the technology we hold in our hands we can know when all this happens.
Its not an eminent without notice event like some would have you believe.

I would point out (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14) then as a rebuttal against the "sleepy ones", as it says it right in verse 14.

Paul starts out here with comforting words for those who are grieving the loss and companionship of former friends and believers on earth.
The idea is of course that we have this Great Hope in Christ, where, the rest of the world sees only annihilation, loss, and loneliness. We will see our friends and brothers and sisters again!
The Soul and Spirit of one who has died in Christ goes to God. It used to be Paradise, now it's in heaven with Christ awaiting reunification at resurrection with the new imperishable body. The old body (flesh) stays in the grave. This is being "asleep in Him". And no, not soul sleep which is a false doctrine.
The rapture of the living is a special form of resurrection. It qualifies the individual for the "it is appointed to men once to die and then judgment" since it is the casting off of the old flesh for the new eternal body, the old body dies in an instant at the change.
We become, as He is already after His resurrection, like Him, and Flesh will never see or experience heaven, so we must change whether dead or living at the change.
I remain firm on the Resurrection and Rapture happening at almost the same time with the Dead First, and the living shortly thereafter in nanoseconds.
The Resurrection and Rapture of those in Christ is a promise to the Church Body, which means from beginning of the Church till it's removal at the Resurrection and Rapture of those in Christ who make up that Church Body, of which Christ is the head.
I could agree with those before in Paradise, being freed at Jesus resurrection, as it is shown in scripture that this happened. I can't agree though that we will see Resurrected Church age saints walking around for 40 days before the living are then translated.

Mondo Gonzales and Byron Stinson from Boneh Israel discuss the latest involving the red heifers. Most interesting is the fact that all of the five (5) heifers are technically qualified and that one will become of age this Yom Kippur! The priesthood has decided (should it still be kosher) to sacrifice that red heifer on Pesach (Passover) this coming Spring!
With the ashes of a red heifer the Third Temple could be built.

Delete*IF* the (Psalm 90:10) model is accurate then between now and October 12, 2023 the Rapture would occur. *IF* the (Psalm 90:10) model is accurate then the two witnesses will arrive in Jerusalem to begin their 1,260 day ministry in time for the annular solar eclipse and the beginning of Torah reading for the new year (Parashat Beresheet) on October 14, 2023. *IF* these things were true then the two witnesses would be here when the Red Heifer was sacrificed and for the building of the Third Temple. *IF* the ashes of the heifer were available for Unleavened Bread, 2024 then the Temple should be able to be constructed in time for Yom Kippur, 2024 or 2025. Midpoint of the (Psalm 90:10) model is April 24, 2027 which what is suggested as the AoD.
Looking backwards using the 2,300 days given by (Daniel 8:14) from the end, being the modeled beginning of the Kingdom on Yom Kippur, 2030 we find the beginning on or about June 18-19, 2024. Another potential fit with the 19th being the last day of Spring, 2024!
The model does not suggest a Rapture date but it does help map out high watch days (just in case you were wondering). The model does peg the death of the last generation as being on or about March 21, 2027. (80 prophetic years since the founding of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948).
*My* next high watch day is September 29, 2023.
Please note that these are observations and part of the overall questions that I ask in the process of my personal study. It's not about date setting.

DeleteThe modeled beginning of the 2,300 days given in (Daniel 8:14) is what on the Essene calendar is known as the Summer Day of Remembrance or June 19, 2024. The year by Essene reckoning will be approximately 5949 AM. The summer solstice will be at 4:50 PM (Eastern) on June 20, 2024. Thinking of summer brings this to mind,

I saw this interview with Boneh Israel too - fascinating information. I'm practically rubbing my hands with glee over seeing Bible prophecy taking shape before our eyes. ReplyDeleteThis could well be the Covenant with the many (Daniel 9:27) which the antichrist will confirm, ushering in the Tribulation Period. In the same year 2024 there will be the elections for the European Parliament, during which the antichrist can emerge. It could be that just before these elections the Revived Roman Empire, consisting of 10 European nations (The 10 kings) on the territory of the Old Roman Empire, will be formed and that this empire and the antichrist coming from it will be backed by the UN. And even that the Revived Roman Empire and antichrist use the UN as a vehicle to gain world dominance. I think that the UN summit in September 2023 could usher in the formation of the Revived Roman Empire and the emergence of the antichrist as a leader from that empire, and that the UN summit in September 2024 could usher in the confirmation of the Covenant with the Many by the antichrist. This means that the Rapture could happen between now and the next years ahead.

ReplyDeleteI have a few more questions that I would appreciate some help with. As I was growing up in the church I heard that the bible taught that the rapture was "imminent" meaning "at any moment". Also that there aren't any specific signs for the rapture. And because of that our attitude should be one of always watchful and expectant.
So if the bible teaches that the rapture is imminent, then how could it be, for example, on a particular feast day? If it is on a feast day, then it could be soon but not imminent. It seems like that as soon as we say the rapture could be on a particular date, then we automatically go against the bible teaching of the imminent rapture.
So does the bible teach that the rapture is imminent or does it just teach that it is unknown?

DeleteLooking online you will find lots of voices each saying something different concerning prophecy (especially the Rapture). I have found that working from what I have heard or what Bible teachers have said (what is commonly taught) wasn't good enough. My knowledge has to be first hand knowledge springing from personal and prayerful study of the Word through the teaching of the Holy Spirit.
With that said...
Your question might make an excellent personal study for you to prayerfully explore. I have limited time at the moment but can generally share that,
1. The Rapture can happen at any time
2. The Rapture is preceded by specific "seasonal" signs given in Scripture
3. The Rapture is marked by specific "event" signs given in Scripture
4. The Rapture doesn't have to be on a feast day
5. The 70th week almost certainly does revolve around feast days
6. The Bible teaches that those who do not watch will be caught unaware
7. The Bible teaches that those who watch will not be caught unaware by extension
Take my word for it to know it for yourself through personal study. Have a study partner with you and/or if possible someone who can properly disciple you. Let me know if you need some starting points for such a study.
In my personal study I find specific events that may be tied to the timing of the Rapture. One such date is coming up soon at 6:27 PM (IDT) on September 29, 2023. It also so happens to fall on appointed days for both the Civil and Essene calendars, and both make sense in their context as a potential Day of our Blessed Hope.

1. The Rapture can happen at any time
God can do basically anything He wants to do when He wants to do it. There are limits to this as He will not do anything to infringe on His holiness; but concerning the Rapture His timing will be just in time, right on time in His perfect time. From our perspective it can happen at anytime. From His perspective I think it safe to say He sees all events across time at once as He is everywhere and every when all at once. He is omnipresent. This and the omniscient and omnipotent qualities of God would make a good study.
Question: Do we see past events in the Bible that "hint" at the Rapture and 70th week to come? (Hint, see the story of Noah)
2. The Rapture is preceded by specific "seasonal" signs given in Scripture
The Olivet Discourse is one of the primary places Jesus teaches on the signs of the end to come. (Matthew 24:1) is where you will find the questions posed to Jesus by His disciples. The main signs of the end are given in RED LETTERS that follow. The true end will come once one thing has been fulfilled,

will be proclaimed throughout the
whole world as a testimony to all
nations, and then the end will
come.

Back when we met in the local high school for Sunday worship we had a missionary visit who operated in one of the last places on Earth you would think a missionary could operate. (I hesitate to say who he is and where his ministry impacts). But if the gospel is being preached there then I dare say that the gospel has been preached to just about every nation on Earth!
When it comes to the seasons your best bet is to hit (Matthew 24), (Mark 13) and (Luke 21).
3. The Rapture is marked by specific "event" signs given in Scripture
I submit that the sixth seal of Revelation (Revelation 6:12-17) gives us clear markers to what is technically known as the Second Order of the Resurrection of the Righteous or the Rapture and a picture of what will happen at the coming of Jesus on the clouds,
a) a great earthquake (resurrection of the dead in Christ)
b) the sun becomes black as sackcloth
c) the full moon becomes like a blood moon
d) the stars (angels) of heaven fall like worthless winter figs to the Earth
e) the sky vanishes (heaven is opened)
f) every mountain and island (peoples) are removed
g) the inhabitants of the Earth panic for the Wrath of the Lamb
Note: Compare this imagery to that given in (Psalm 18)
This is no small study and will lead you to many places so stick to it and give it the prayerful study time required to really dig in.
You may note that I understand the opening of the seals of the scroll by the Lamb differently than others. I am persuaded that the first five seals have already been opened and that we're on the cusp of the sixth seal being opened at anytime. This differs from the common (Revelation 4) Rapture held by many in the pre-trib camp.
Keep in mind that these are not salvation issues. I encourage anyone to take their questions to God in prayer and meditation waiting and listening for the Holy Spirit. This is how I started my walk with the help of a wonderful Pastor who got me going back when. Of course if you know someone who can mentor you and disciple you? All the better!

With regards to your point #2 above, the gospel of the kingdom is not the gospel of grace. Jesus is referring to the preaching going on at the tribulation prior to the second coming.

ReplyDeleteThe church is caught away before the 6th seal opens. The Rapture occurs in fulfillment of the Ascension of Jesus. Each year the anniversary of the Ascension occurs 40 days after the Feast of First fruits, and 10 days prior to Pentecost.
Scripture clearly shows that many of the dead in Christ that rise first will rise on First fruits and be seen by many for 40 days. If that were so, then the warning sign of the Rapture would be that for sure. So, watch! God knew what He was talking about when He commanded us to Watch, and put a reward up for those who do, so, heed His word, and Watch!
Seven years is the tribulation, and it's broken into two parts. The first three and a half years to the middle of the seventieth week and the second three and a half years to the end of the week.
Antichrist comes on the scene in the 6th chapter. Seven seals are going to be opened. The first seal turns him loose with a bow and no arrow. He comes as a man of peace. A crown is given unto him. He's on the scene, as a man of peace at the very outset of tribulation.
A second seal -War - follows Antichrist's peaceful introduction.
A third Seal - Famine
Fourth Seal - Death
Fifth Seal - Martyrdom - but because John's in heaven, he sees the other side of it, he sees the souls of those that are martyred.
Sixth seal - Great earthquake, sun becomes black - stars of the heavens fall - people cry out that mountains and rocks would fall on them, as the great day of Gods wrath begins to flow.
A parenthesis comes in the seventh chapter.
Seventh seal is the 8th chapter - a great silence in Heaven - about the space of half and hour - we are still in the first half of the tribulation. A brief parenthesis follows that, then seven trumpets.
The Trumpets: 1st Hail and fire mingled with blood 2nd Great mountain cast into the sea and a third of the sea becomes blood. 3rd A great star called "Wormwood" falls upon the earth, and the rivers
and fountains of water become poisonous. 4th A third of the sun, moon and stars darkened - and a day shown not for a third of it, and the night likewise.
Strange change in the skies. Then an angel parenthetically flies saying Woe to the inhabiters of the earth - He seems to be saying: if you think it's been bad up to now, woe to you, if you're still here when these next three trumpets sound! We are still in the first three and a half years.

This is all happening in the first three and a half years, and we know that we are at least five months into it to this point.
6th He blows the note that loosens the four demon angels that are bound at the river Euphrates. God set an exact time for these four angels to be set free. They will have with them an army of two hundred million demons.
Then comes a parenthesis. And the seventh trumpet blasts in the 15th verse of the 11th chapter.
Somewhere during the 6th, or between the 6th and the 7th, we move into the middle of the week. And from the 7th trumpet on, through the 7 vials, we are in the last three and a half years of the tribulation.
The 12th chapter opens saying there appeared a great "wonder" (correct translation of "wonder"= symbol/sign) - there appeared a great symbol/sign in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars;
As a symbol, the descendants of Jacob would remember the dream of Joseph. For this is a symbol of the Nation Israel. It's not the Church. The Church was raptured in the 4th chapter.

ReplyDeleteThere's a whole spectrum of possibilities when it comes to speculation on Rapture dates/timing. On one end is the "no one knows anything so don't bother looking" crowd, and at the far other end are the people who have an exact date and hold onto it with a "thus saith the Lord" fervancy that refuses to consider any other option. Most people who are speculating on the Rapture fall in between. The Bible seems pretty clear on a handful of things (such as the Temple in Israel must be rebuilt in order to be desecrated during the Trib), and people extrapolate from there. For example, still focusing on the Temple... does the Rapture have to occur before the Temple is built and sacrifices started up again? The Bible doesn't say, but some people believe that the Anti-Christ will give Israel permission to build the Temple, which would place it post-Rapture since the AC is revealed at the beginning of the Rapture. Others think that the AC does not provide the permission for the Temple, but is the person who sacrifices the Red Heifer to purify the Temple. Others say the anti-christ has absolutely nothing to do with the Temple at all and the Temple could be built and doing sacrifices for years before the Rapture and Trib get started.
So that's one example of how one little part of the Bible and current events can be debated as to its meaning in regards to the Rapture. Do we look at the current situation with the rebuilding of the Temple and the red Heifers as a sign that the Rapture is closer than ever or not? Same with all the others signs we can see.
That's what this and other "watchmen" websites are all about. People who take God's commands to watch for His return seriously and do their best to let the rest of us know that Jesus's return looks more "imminent " now than it did yesterday.
And then there are "high watch days" where, for whatever reason, people think there's a better chance of the Rapture than just a random day with zero reasons for the Rapture yo happen. It's not that God couldn't snatch us up on a random date, but you literally can't have high expectations for every single day (or it becomes low expectations and you stop watching altogether).
Anyway, there's lots more to consider, but I hope this helps.

This idea has been going on for quite some time.
October 17, 2000, at Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt. The entire League of Arab Kings, Sheiks and Potentates attended the meeting to decide on a final solution to their Jewish issue.
Among the crowd of attendees, that included an American
delegation led by Secretary of State Madelyn Albright, were
ten Moslem Kings from the territory of the old Roman Empire,

Currently, there are Moslem kings and rulers living on the land that once made up the Hashemite Kingdom of Muhammad. The Hashemite Kingdom is the land that grew out of the Seleucid portion of the old Grecian Empire which, in the first century, was partly ruled by Rome. Lyn, I thought that the situation with Saudi Arabia was publicly divorced from the two state solution thing (they've been saying that they want to normalize, relations and didn't want Palestinian situation to be involved). Do you have sources that show that this normalization would involve the Palestinians? Or dividing Israel?

DeleteI had some quiet time to study C/2023 P1 (Nishimura) via Sky Guide and found some interesting features of this comet,
1. It came out of Canis Major crowning "looping over" Sirius (the brightest star in the second heaven)
2. Was discovered when Sun/Mercury/Venus/Earth/Mars and Saturn were aligned in Leo when seen from Saturn
3. Was discovered when Earth was at Libra (altar) when seen from Jupiter
4. Was discovered when Venus was transiting the Sun to become the bright morning star
5. Mid-December 2022 it arched toward Orion via Saiph (sixth brightest star in Orion)
6. In conjunction w/Alhena (the mark) third brightest star in Gemini on Super Moon (8/1)
7. In conjunction w/Beehive Cluster (manger) in Cancer on Super Blue Moon (8/31)
8. Will pass through the "loins" of Leo on (9/11)
9. Will accelerate and enter the "womb" of Virgo on (9/20) the same day VENUS IS AT ITS BRIGHTEST!!!
10. Will be in conjunction with Mars (warring dragon) "standing before the woman" on (9/23)
After Comet Nishimura leaves Virgo it will make a bee-line toward Centarus and the Southern Cross (Crux) where it will arrive nearby about New Year's Day, 2024. By Pesach, 2024 Comet Nishimura will begin "looping" back into the cosmos in Pyxis (compass) appearing to spiral out into space.
It's interesting that this comet passes through Leo and into Virgo much like Comet C/2017 E1 (Borisov) did or what we have come to call the "Conception Comet". That event kicked off the Great Sign when Jupiter last entered the womb of Virgo. Comet Borisov is now in the arm of Orion that wields the club. Both comets shared the same piece of sky on or about (7/12) of this year.

ReplyDeleteGod's plan is so methodical, and so based upon logic that Satan had to create religion, way back in Nimrod's time as the only way to combat it.
From Nimrod to us is such a short time in God's reality, and yet Satan has managed to get man to complicate his extremely short life so completely that he passes along pure nonsense about God and His plan from one generation to the next, even though we have His word on the matter; written and demonstrated. Religion and it’s traditions are entirely to blame for that.
As I sit here this morning, having my coffee, and contemplating the meaning of it all, I can visualize the ages of time on our human scale, and see how we could think it’s such a vast expanse. In reality tho, we are dealing with a set time that God has fixed in time, on a spot in His creation, to play out this drama of life and death through the ages, on a human scale that is purely a means of gaining spiritual existence. Human life is so short, and promises nothing but death & taxes, where spiritual life, which promises the opposite, is eternal!
There could be no creature worthy of God that didn't have a free will. God would not create creatures worthy of Him without free will. Worthy means worth. What value would there be in creatures who had no choice if your goal is to have a personal relationship with them?
Being created in His image is to have choices. Our entire existence is based upon choice. Therefore our entire human existence is based upon the choices that lead to
having or not having a spiritual existence. What else is there to do with a life that only exists for such a very short time? We have no time to do anything else with our lives.
Are we here to accumulate possessions and pass along a heritage of idolatry, bigotry and hate from generation to generation? Or, will we evolve into a semi robotic machine to cope with the ever changing world? Except for the traditionalized view of God, that’s all that gets passed along. And as time goes on, even the traditionalized view of God is being pushed further and further back into becoming folklore.
When in fact, it’s written that by the time mankind reaches the time God set for everyone alive to make the final choice, He gives them 40 days to make up their minds.
That validates my point that imperfect human existence is the only way of choosing whether or not you want a spiritual existence, based upon what you were able to determine during your short lifetime using the evidence available.
It will come down to being an individual choice that every human being alive will have to face. The moment of truth squeezed down to a single moment in time. At that moment, no accumulated stack of possessions, or position in society will have any meaning whatsoever. The only question is do I want a spiritual existence or don’t I?
Because it does come down to that single choice at the end, it’s the same for each individual at his or her end.
The only difference being the length of the time of your rest. One will sleep for a short time then be awakened to receive the spiritual existence that they chose, while the others are raised to be condemned to a final death by fire, for their choice. After which mankind lives it’s spiritual existence on an earth made new again for that eternal existence.
My choice is to have a spiritual existence! And, I feel extremely lucky that I found enough information during my life time to make that choice without reservation. I believe that I truly understand that finding the way to have a spiritual existence is the only reason for this short, imperfect human existence.

The links provided provide the image data while the descriptions provide detail as to what is being shown. All observations are made from the location I believe as where the Temple once stood (not on the Temple Mount) and time are local Jerusalem time (IDT). These days are interesting for several reasons,
1. The evening of 9/19/23 begins the Fall Day of Remembrance on the Essene Calendar (Yom Teruah)
2. 9/20/23 is the Fall Day of Remembrance on the Essene Calendar (Yom Teruah)
3. 9/19-20 are the day when Venus (bright morning star) will be at its peak brightness

Detail of the Constellation Libra. Libra has been known as the altar as well as scales or the image of a balance. Ancients used to use this image as a seal for contracts and agreements. Here we see the new moon in Libra which is where it should be found at Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets).

Paul Dawson just did a video highlighting this asteroid belt object, ANOTHER WONDER. A CHILD IS BORN! Asteroid Child will be coming out of Virgo about the time of Civil Hebrew Rosh Hashana. Hmmm...
The Dragon & Nishimura
This shot details the location of Mars and Comet C/2023 P1 (Nishimura). Mars is named for the Roman god of war (Ares by Greek mythology) and has a visibly red colour even with the naked eye. The principle star in Scorpius is Antares which is often mistaken for Mars. Scorpius is rendered as a scorpion but is often recognized as a serpent. The serpent was the animal sign of the tribe of Dan - the tribe from which many believe the AC will come from. Comet Nishimura is located over the "heart" of the woman at this time and *may* be visible to the naked eye by this time. The name "Nishimura" is a common Japanese surname and place found in NE Japan and on the island of Okinawa. The name literally means, "western village" and is interestingly appropriate given Comet Nishimura is in the western skies at this sighting.
NOTE: The red dragon (Mars/Ares) is standing before the woman (Virgo)
The Sun
Here we see the detail showing the Sun crowning (clothing) the woman (Virgo). This is a picture of the celestial Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets) and falls on the Essene Fall Day of Remembrance, one of the feast days instituted by Noah and remembered by the Essenes. The Essenes were known as the "Sons of light" and did not mark the months by the sighting of the new moon as the Pharisees did. They began the year around the advent of the Spring Equinox. The Fall Equinox will be at 2:49 AM (Eastern) / 6:49 AM (GMT) on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
NOTE: Strong's (G649) is "ἀποστέλλω" (apostelló) meaning "to send, send away"

If God is represented by the Sun, which is after all seated in the centre of our solar system, then the planet that races about it closest to the Sun can be thought of like the Archangel Michael. Mercury is a messenger and messengers in the Bible are known as angels. Mercury is seen here after having spun around the Sun; rising over the plane of the ecliptic to meet Mars and loop back in retrograde motion to humble itself before the Sun (passing under it) to approach the king star, Regulus, in this detail shot where it is approaching the bright morning star (Venus).
The Bright Morning Star
About the same time that Comet C/2023 P1 (Nishimura) was being discovered, Venus crossed in front of the Sun to become the bright morning star. This is the location in the heavens that Venus will be when it shines at its brightest as the morning star this year. Although Venus will be in the constellation Cancer it can also be seen as *standing* on the head of the seven headed serpent, the constellation Hydra! Hmmm...sound familiar to anyone?

The very image of the Fall at the Fall Day of Remembrance as it were!!! Do we see a picture of the seven headed serpent in the Bible? We sure do! Look no further than (Revelation 13:1) and later in (Revelation 17).
CLOSING COMMENTS
The other planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are in interesting locations as well with Jupiter/Uranus having been shown the meaning by the Spirit but not Saturn or Neptune as of yet. I will post more on them when the time comes I have answers for Saturn and Neptune.
But concerning Jupiter and Uranus I can share this,
Abraham & Isaac
Uranus is the *seventh* planet in our solar system and is the only one bearing a Greek name which means "heaven". Heaven as in the skies, home to the stars and planets and the dwelling place of G-D. G-D promised Abraham he was to be the father of many nations and kings. (Genesis 17:1-6) His son, the son of the covenant by his wife Sarah, was Isaac. According to the Dead Sea Scrolls, Abraham was the seventh in the Order of Melchizedek. He was the seventh king/priest/prophet for which Adam was first and Jesus is the tenth and last! (Nods to Ken & Donita Johnson). We recognize Jupiter (the king planet) as being the man-child born of the woman from the Revelation 12 Sign or what the Bible calls the Great Sign. (Revelation 12:5)
In the Biblical account of the sacrifice of Isaac, Isaac is snatched away from death by the angel. G-d provides Abraham with a substitutionary sacrifice which is a ram with its horns caught in a thicket of thorns. That ram is seen in the constellation Aries (the ram) in which Uranus (heaven) and Jupiter (king planet) are found. Abraham, the father of many nations and kings; Jupiter the man-child (seed) of the woman (Sarah) and child of the promise; the king planet. A clear picture of the Lamb of God and the price paid by the Father for our rescue...HIS ONLY SON!
IS 9/19 OR 9/20 THE DAY OF OUR BLESSED HOPE?

Yes, I realize that many believe that (Revelation 6:12) is a Second Coming event. I am not among that crowd for reasons that are beyond the scope of this post. I am compelled and convinced that the sixth seal is the Day of our Blessed Hope, the Rapture. Thus what do we find here? A *full* moon!
The last two full moons of August 2023 were Super Moons with the last one a Super Blue Moon. A VERY RARE EVENT!! That Super Blue Moon was accompanied by the landfall of Hurricane Idalia, a name which means "behold the sun"; or should I say, "Behold, the Son!" in an area of Florida that has not seen a hurricane make landfall is some 125 years. A RARE EVENT!! The next Super Blue Full Moon won't occur until January 2037. Why is this of interest? The Super Blue Moon of January 31, 2037 will also be a BLOOD MOON!!!
WOW!!!!
700 weeks and three days from the Super Blue Moon of 2023 will be a Super Blue Blood Moon in 2037. Almost seven years after the Second Coming of our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus per my (Psalm 90:10) model.
Why nine days?

The sixth anniversary of the Great Sign begins the seven year of the R12S. A sign that began on the evening of Friday, September 22, 2017. If counting from the evening of Friday, September 22, 2023 seven days we land on Friday, September 29, 2023. Why do I mention this?
Because of the days of Noah.
37 For as were the days of Noah,
so will be the coming of the Son

This year will be the 72nd month anniversary (6th year anniversary) of the Great Sign. (7-2-6) Seven days later is the full moon. May it be the full moon given us in (Revelation 6:12)? Maybe. But I do know that from the Great Sign to the coming full moon of (Essene) Yom Kippur on Friday, September 29 there are 2,197 days. Looking to Strong's Concordance we find,
Strong's (G2197) "Ζαχαρίας" (Zacharias) and Strong's (H2197) "זַעַף" (Zaaph - A storming/raging/rage)
Looking for watermarks in the day count we find 2,197 is a product of 13 cubed or 13^3. Thirteen is the sixth prime number so 2,197 can also be expressed as,
6th prime X 6th prime X 6th prime = 2,197
Thirteen is also half the value of the number of the Name "יהוה" being 26. (Remember, Hebrew like Greek letters are also numbers and have a numeric value!)
Finally, the evening of (Essene) Yom Kippur in Jerusalem or what they call "the twinkling of an eye" will occur at 6:27 PM (7-2-6) in reverse just as read in Hebrew (right-to-left). I have to wonder, what better day to enter the heavenly Holy of Holies with Jesus; King/Prophet/Priest forever in the Order of Melchizedek! As He is Head of the Church - we His Church are the body and where He goes we go.
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CIVIL CALENDAR?
So far only the Essene calendar has been referenced. What about the Civil calendar? Line up the days for yourself if you're interested. It never hurts to get your hands "dirty" doing some good work. But I will share this...
The full moon of Friday, September 29, 2023 is also the evening beginning Sukkot I.

Very interesting stuff. I've seen considerable excitement in the watchman community for this Feast of Trumpets. Myself, I think I'm only cautiously hopeful, as I still don't see those pesky 10 kings that need to be around. But perhaps this year...

DeleteI may have been a tad exuberant. This object was in the sky for several hours until the sun rose. However, I arose early this morning for more formal pictures but did not see it. Not sure how to share my picture. I'll look around for a website email. Maybe you can help me find out what it was. I'm still hopeful I can confirm the comet :)
DeleteIf you have an astronomical app it can identify the object easily. If it's a very bright star low over the horizon then it's probably Venus. Nishimura should be pretty faint about now. The comet is just above and to the left of Venus in the morning sky at the face of Leo (about eye level if you will). It should be about a +5.1 magnitude which may allow being seen by the naked eye in remote locations away from light pollution. (No moon too!) You may be able to find it with binoculars.

DeleteI haven't had time to watch the video in full but so far it is what I'm seeing at that time. I do think we need to keep a broad view of the events and not narrowed vision toward (Revelation 12:1-5). It certainly is a major part of the picture but I believe the timing (IMHO) comes from (Matthew 24:29-31), (Luke 21:25-28), (Revelation 6:12) and is reinforced by (Jude 1:13). Venus will be brightest on 9/19-9/20. Nine days later is the full moon of 9/29. That's the day my sights are set on.
