Turning Point 2020

It's been quite a year, hasn't it?  And I'm not just talking about the murder hornets, nunchuck bears, and shark-snatching eagles.  I'm talking about events that have changed our world forever and shaken the majority of mankind out of its perpetual sense of normalcy, like a global pandemic and lockdown, worldwide riots, and the march toward what looks like the most likely mark of the beast candidate we've ever seenThe 2020 genie is never going back in the bottle.

It's been 10 years this month that the watchmen at Unsealed have been sounding the prophetic alarm, warning as many as would hear that the signs foretold in the Bible preluding the return of Christ have converged in such a perfect way that no other generation in history could say the same.  We've shown that God's word—particularly in regard to end-times prophecy—is supremely unique and completely trustworthy.  The prophecies of Christ's first coming were literal and faithfully fulfilled to the letter.  The prophecies of Christ's second coming and the events leading up to it should be treated no differently.  There's no warrant for allegorizing or dismissing what God has plainly said.

You don't even have to believe in God or regard Him to recognize that what we see in the world matches what was written in Scripture.  Whether it be the signs leading up to the rapture, the general end-of-the-age setting portrayed in the Bible, the rebirth of Israel, the Revelation 12 Sign, or the major prophetic milestones we've all witnessed of late, it is clear that what the world calls an antiquated, dusty book, is actually the most relevant [and accurate] book in the world right now.  You should believe it, and, more importantly, believe in the One it is written about.

Time will tell, but this may be the year that the prophets and apostles of old were pointing to—the year that God takes a people out of the nations to Himself before turning His focus back to Jacob to fulfill all of His promises to the elect of Israel (Acts 15:12–18; Deut. 32:21–25; Rm. 10:19–21; Jer. 30:4–9; cf. Jn. 14:1–3; 1 Thess. 4:13–5:11; Rev. 3:10; Isa. 26:17–21; Zeph. 1:14–2:3).

After the Revelation 12 Sign passed, I had my sights somewhat set on 2018, but overall I thought 2021 would be the next major “watch” year.  Boy have my views changed since then.  Beginning last November I began to think 2020 could be the year of years.  And then by mid-January of this year—before the peace plan was revealed, before Brexit, before the global pandemic, before global riots, before this present march of a new world order and what appears to be direct conditioning for and development of the mark of the beast—I was blown away by how quickly the dominoes fell starting on New Year's Day itself.  It was like a divine gunshot went off on New Year's and the world was off to the proverbial (and prophetic) races.  I thought 2017 was big and, at the time, couldn't foresee how the world could get any more “pregnant” in terms of the fulfillment of prophecy.  2020 is on a whole other level.  Things have progressed so rapidly across the globe, and in such unprecedented fashion, that to many it may seem as if the Tribulation has already begun.  Indeed, it hasn't begun, but we are frighteningly close.  As crazy and apocalyptic as 2020 may seem, there will be no mistaking the seals, trumpets, and vials when these judgments of God are unleashed on the world.  This is just a foretaste and a gracious final warning to wake up.

I often offer my pleading as winsomely as I can, but today I feel compelled to shoot straight: get your head out of the frickin' sand, gird your loins, and board the Ark.  This is happening whether you believe it will or not—or whether you are ready for it or not.  I'm talking real apocalyptic stuff here, my friends.

There are a few fleeting moments left to cling to the Cross as if your life depended on it (it does).  Don't bet your future on anything except Christ and Him crucified.

We are nearing what is routinely the highest-watch time of the year around the late Summer and Fall period—the time of the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah), Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), and Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).  The Lord Jesus clearly and unequivocally fulfilled the first four biblical festivals at His first coming when He died for our atonement on Passover, was buried on Unleavened Bread, rose again on First Fruits, and sent His Spirit to birth [or conceive] the Church on Pentecost, but the Fall festivals await their ultimate fulfillment.  In light of the convergence of signs on earth, the signs in the heavens, and The Parable of the Fig Tree in relation to Israel's current age, this Summer and Fall could be go time.

I've been quiet the past few weeks as my mind has swelled with thoughts regarding all we see before us.  It's been altogether overwhelming and I've tried to string it together somehow, suffice to say, I don't want to stew forever.  I'm just going to share these rambling thoughts, but I'll connect the dots in a big way at the end.  Find your comfy spot and have your caffeine of choice handy.  You'll want your eyes wide open for this one.

The Year of Years?

As I mentioned earlier, before the peace plan was unveiled, before Brexit, before Coronavirus, and everything further that has transpired during this apocalyptic year, I was already stunned.  The year quite literally began with a bang as Iranian proxies attacked the Green Zone in Baghdad initiating what would become days of near-open war between the United States and Iran.  Just three days after the attack, U.S. forces assassinated the top military leader of Iran, General Qassim Soleimani, triggering major reprisal attacks in Kenya and Iraq over the course of the next five days.  On January 8th Iran launched dozens of ballistic missiles at U.S. and Iraqi forces, even inadvertently downing a passenger jet—killing all 176 aboard.

The very next day Popocatépetl Volcano near Mexico City had a major eruption sending ash two miles into the air.  That same day, Israel, already experiencing record flooding, had the most rainfall in the northern part of the country in 51 years.  In the southern half, a 76-year record was broken.  Two days after this, massive protests erupted in Iran adding to the burgeoning global riots, which seems reminiscent of the end-of-the-age lawlessness that will usher in the Antichrist himself (2 Thess. 2:3–12; 2 Tim. 3:1–5; cf. Dn. 8:23).

A day later, Taal Volcano near Manila, the capital of the Philippines, had a massive eruption—its first eruption since 1977.  Ash reached over nine miles into the sky.  Metro Manila is the 7th most populous metro area in the world and the area around the earlier Popocatépetl Volcano is the 11th.  Tens of millions of people were in danger from these apocalyptic “shots across the bow.”  Another two days transpired and record Australian bush fires had burned an area the size of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland combined.  The wildfires were perhaps the fifth-largest in recorded world history.

The next day, on January 15th, the entire Russian government under Vladimir Putin resigned paving the way for Putin to make sweeping constitutional changes on his march to absolute dictator.  And a day later, articles of impeachment were formally sent to the U.S. Senate, initiating the impeachment trial of Donald Trump.  In Russia, Mikhail Mishustin was appointed as the new prime minister.  And in a report just then released, it was expected that 40% of the world's countries would experience significant social unrest in 2020, demonstrating that the prophetic Global Spring would only grow.

That was just the first two or so weeks of the year!  Two weeks later the United Kingdom became the first nation to secede from the European Union.  Brexit finally happened.  And far more importantly, three days before Brexit, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu unveiled the land-dividing, covenant-breaking Deal of the Century to the world.  The very hour they unveiled it a 7.7 magnitude earthquake shook Trump's personal residence of Mar-a-Lago.  It is still the largest earthquake thus far this year (source).

So much more has happened this year that time doesn't permit me.  From Venus-Pleiades and the morning star sign in the horns of Taurus to the spectacular Comet Neowise that caught everyone by surprise.  And from burgeoning riots in the United States and around the world to record-breaking floods in China with fears surrounding the stability of the Three Gorges Dam.  So much more has happened, and is happening.

But all of these things pale in comparison to the global pandemic that is COVID-19.  While certainly over-hyped to some extent, the world has been forever changed because of Coronavirus.  Lockdowns and quarantines are worldwide.  Economies are on the verge of collapse.  And in many areas people can't buy or sell without a mask.  How hard then is it to picture a time coming soon when people will be unable to buy or sell without a mark?  How about a mark that is a vaccine passport, digital ID, and payment system all-in-one?  It's coming just as Bible prophecy foretold and I'm grateful that I've already boarded the Ark, so that I don't have to stick around to make the eternal life or death decision that is taking the mark or not (Rev. 13:15–18; 14:9–11; 16:2).  While we've seen the convergence of end-time signs growing—especially over the past decade—with increasing frequency (almost as if labor pains), times of peace and seeming normalcy would always bisect the proverbial contractions.  Not so in 2020.  This year has been one long stretch of increasing craziness.  Like the transition before the real labor pains hit.

On a more personal note, I have been praying for quite some time that God would complete the work He began in my life.  A few weeks ago a pastor emailed me out of the blue, without any knowledge of my prayer, the following:

Thanks be to GOD who granted you the power to finish the work that God Himself gave you.  God bless you in Jesus' name.

I have recently finished this groundbreaking Bible translation and am nearing the point at which I feel that what I needed to share with the world through Unsealed has been shared.  Now don't get me wrong: as long as I have breath in my lungs I will continue to share with you the great hope that I have and will continue blasting my trumpet from the rampart, but I believe our time here is nearing its close.  Time to say those last prayers.

Is it any wonder that such end-time harvest names like Billy Graham, Reinhard Bonnke, and Ravi Zacharias have recently passed away, having completed the monumental tasks given to them in these last of the last days?  And some of the most well-known watchmen who sounded the alarm about the imminent appearing of our Lord for a whole generation have recently gone to be with Him.  It's as if their task is done.  Chuck Missler, Jack Van Impe, Dwight Pentecost, Grant Jeffrey, Tim LaHaye, and Chuck Smith are just a few of these names.

I've had other friends who have had recent significant transitions and changes that they felt might be signals that God is drawing their time here to a close.  Could it be?

Connecting the Dots: 2020 to 2027?

You will never find me predicting the day or hour of the rapture—misconstrued as those words are—as I simply think it's unwise, but given the repeated biblical commands to watch and be ready, along with the obvious convergence of signs foretold in holy writ, it is incumbent upon us to consider the possibility that this could in fact be the year in which Daniel's 70th Week, also known as The Time of Jacob's Trouble, commences.  This timing is speculative, never “Thus saith the LORD,” but consider these things very soberly.

Is it sensible to believe the rapture of Christ's Church could occur this year with the Tribulation beginning shortly thereafter?  Do the dots connect?  Is there greater strength for a 2020–2027 timeline compared to previous speculation?  Consider some salient points:

1. The Parable of the Fig Tree.  This prophetic parable of Christ in which He proclaimed to His disciples that all the events of the Tribulation (including His own return) would transpire within one generation of the proverbial fig tree putting forth leaves (Mt. 24:29–34) is a powerful testimony to the possibility that we are exceedingly close, and that 2020 might even be the year that the end-of-the-age events kick off.

For starters, the fig tree was a clear symbol of the nation of Israel (see #4 here).  This is confirmed by both biblical and early extra-biblical sources.  Secondly, Psalm 90:10 gives us the only clear definition of a generation (“...seventy years, and if, by reason of might, eighty years...”; LSV).  If the rebirth of Israel in 1948 represents the putting forth of leaves of the withered fig tree, then 2028, 80 years later, could be an upper limit.  I won't put God in a box, but this is a strong possibility.  Israel became a nation on May 14th, in the Spring of 1948.  Given that Christ has already fulfilled the first four festivals of the biblical calendar, which all occur in the Spring, there has been widespread consensus among biblical literalists that Christ will return in the Fall to fulfill the Fall festivals.  There is even agreement regardless of one's take on the timing of the rapture.  This means that a rapture in the Fall of 2021 (or in the Spring of 2021, for that matter) could be too late.  For all things to be fulfilled within a maximum of 80 years from the rebirth of Israel, the Tribulation might indeed need to begin this Fall of necessity, with its conclusion in the Fall of 2027.

Side note: It just so happens that this past decade was the first time in thousands of years that worldwide life expectancy fell in the range of 70–80 years.  Just think of it!  To top it off, the fig tree of Israel is governed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin.  Netanyahu is 70 years old and Rivlin is 80.  This strange “coincidence” will only persist until this Fall.

2. The decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem.  In Daniel 9 the angel Gabriel delivers the clearest prophetic timeline in the Bible to the prophet Daniel.  He tells Daniel that 70 weeks of years (490 years) have been established by God until the full restoration and reconciliation of Israel.  The weeks of years begin with a decree to “restore and rebuild Jerusalem” (v. 25) and end with Israel's sins atoned for and continual righteousness brought into the holy city (v. 24).  However, Gabriel introduces a gap between the 69th and 70th weeks of years.  We are told that the Messiah would be cut off as a substitutionary sacrifice after the 69th week and this would be followed by the Roman sacking of Jerusalem and the Second Temple (v. 26).

From history we know that Christ, the Messiah, was crucified in one of the years between 30–33 AD and that Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD.  This is why literalists recognize a clear gap between the 69th and 70th weeks of Daniel.  And the gap makes dispensational sense, as well.  Christ's death and resurrection in circa 30–33 AD marked the end of the dispensation of law and the beginning of the dispensation of grace (contrary to what some are beginning to say).  Jesus' own people had Him killed.  And weeks after His death the Church was formed on Pentecost marking a clear shift from Israel to the predominantly Gentile Church.  The Church Age is like a divine pause button, which God pressed until the resumption of time when He shifts His attention back to Israel after the Church is removed (Acts 15:14–17).  When He presses play again the rapture will have served the added purpose of provoking Israel to jealousy (Deut. 32:21; Rm. 10:18–19; 11:11–32).  The 70 weeks of years are a time clearly demarcated for Israel and Israel's holy city Jerusalem—not a time for the Gentiles or the Church.

Now how is this relevant to 2020?  It all has to do with when the decree was given, which started the clock, and when Messiah actually became the “Anointed One.”  Usually the date used in calculations is 445 or 444 BC, which marked a decree issued by Artaxerxes Longimanus to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.  And those calculations lead to the years of either 32 or 33 AD as the point at which Christ is anointed and cut off.

To decipher this mystery, I've discovered that precision is key.  While several prophecies in Daniel and Revelation somewhat hint at 360-day years—the length of a year used by most in these calculations—we know that the various calendars in use at the time of Christ, as well as at the time of Daniel's prophecy, had mechanisms in place to align their years with the seasons.  This means that while some years in the ancient Babylonian and Hebrew calendars were composed of 360 days or even fewer, they had years with extra months for intercalation.  In other words, their years averaged out to approximately the same length as our Julian/Gregorian years.  The modern Jewish calendar functions similarly, cycling through 19-year periods in which are 12 years of 12 months each and seven years containing 13 months.  This is key, and is often overlooked.

So the existing calculations are made by assuming a type of prophetic calendar that is misaligned with the seasons and the actual solar year.  The one making the calculation will then multiply 69 and seven (69 weeks of years), resulting in 483 years, multiply that by the 360 days in a theorized prophetic year, and then divide the resulting number of days by the length of the solar year.  The conversion makes 483 “prophetic years” into approximately 476 actual, solar years.  476 years from 445 BC falls in 32 AD and the same from the alternative 444 BC date falls in 33 AD.

The termination point of the 69 weeks of years is thought to be Christ's Triumphal Entry, shortly after He was anointed with perfume at Bethany (Mt. 26:6–13).  This is key in terms of Daniel's prophecy because we are told that Jesus would become the Anointed One at the end of the 69th week (Dan. 9:25), but He would be cut off as an atoning sacrifice for others after the 69th week (Dan. 9:26), which would be during the gap of time in which God hit pause.  While the dispensation of grace is clearly part of the pause, the prophecy tells us that the exact moment of pause is not when Christ was cut off (v. 26), but when He became the Anointed One (v. 25).  It makes sense that Christ may have become the One anointed by God to die for the sins of the world at Bethany when a woman poured perfume on Him for His burial.  I assumed the same for a long time without questioning this common assumption, but my view recently changed.

The first piece of evidence that began to shift my perspective on this is that Jesus was already called Christ (“Anointed One”) before He was anointed at Bethany!  The scriptural evidence is incontrovertible (Mt. 16:16–20; Jn. 1:41; 4:24–26).  Thinking through this, I was left with the nagging question: did the woman in Bethany make Jesus the Christ or did God make Him the Christ?  Did her anointing of Him make Him the Anointed One or did God anoint Him in some other way?

The second bit of evidence seems clear: Jesus became the Anointed One at His baptism when God literally anointed Him with the Holy Spirit.  This pivotal event marked the beginning of Christ's ministry.  And the Scriptures seem to agree:

And it came to pass, in all the people being immersed, Jesus also being immersed, and praying, Heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit came down in a bodily appearance, as if a dove, on Him, and a voice came out of Heaven, saying, “You are My Son, the Beloved, in You I delighted.” (Lk. 3:21–22, LSV)

The Spirit of the LORD [is] on Me, || Because He anointed Me; To proclaim good news to the poor, || Sent Me to heal the broken of heart, || To proclaim to captives deliverance, || And to blind receiving of sight, || To send the bruised away with deliverance, || To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD. (Lk. 4:18–19, LSV)

...you have known the word that came throughout all Judea, having begun from Galilee, after the immersion that John preached; Jesus who [is] from Nazareth—how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and power; who went through, doing good, and healing all those oppressed by the Devil, because God was with Him... (Acts 10:37–38, LSV)

So it was God who anointed Jesus and He anointed Him with the Holy Spirit.  The testimony of the Psalms and Prophets is in agreement (Ps. 2; Isa. 42:1).

Now if Jesus became the Anointed One at His baptism, which was the commencement of His public ministry, we have a problem because His ministry would have begun in one of the years between 26 and 29 AD.  476 solar years from Artaxerxes' decree of 445/444 BC simply doesn't fit.  However, we have a solution and it fits simply and beautifully.  As mentioned before, precision is key.  As it turns out, there were actually several decrees that have been offered as the starting point.  Was the 445/444 BC decree the right one?  Remember, Gabriel explicitly told Daniel that the relevant decree would be to “restore and rebuild Jerusalem”—a general rather than specific purpose.

First decree: issued by Cyrus, it was explicitly given for rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem (2 Chron. 36:22–23; Ezra 1:1–4; 5:13).  This occurred around 538 BC.

Second decree: issued by Darius, it was a confirmation of Cyrus' decree.  The purpose was the same (Ezra 6:1, 6–12).  This occurred in about 520 BC.

Third decree: issued by Artaxerxes, this was Artaxerses first decree.  In it he decrees that Ezra and any remaining Israelites in the Persian Empire could go to Jerusalem with loads of resources to establish law in Judea and the holy city, resupply and improve the Temple, and then do whatever they willed with the remaining treasure (Ezra 7:11–26).  This was the longest of the decrees given and the only one of the four decrees that pertained to restoring Jerusalem, which didn't have a specific purpose.  You might say it was the general decree to restore and rebuild—both infrastructure, as well as municipal and religious law.  This was issued in 457 BC.

Fourth decree: issued by Artaxerxes, this was his second decree, and essentially a confirmation of his first decree from 457 BC.  While the scriptural context of the decree is clearly rebuilding, the focus was narrowed to the gates and city wall (Neh. 2).  This decree was given in 445 or 444 BC.

Given that either Artaxerxes first or second decree could reasonably be the decree mentioned in Daniel 9, Rick Lanser, MDiv, makes the argument that Nehemiah 2 only tells us when Nehemiah was given the king's letter and not when the decree itself was issued.  He argues that the letter Nehemiah was given in 445 or 444 BC was likely a copy of the decree that had already been issued in 457 BC that applied to Ezra and all the Israelites (source).

When we use 457 BC as our starting point the calculation becomes straightforward and requires no conversion whatsoever.  483 years—69 weeks of years—from 457 BC was 27 AD, a likely year for Christ's baptism and the commencement of His ministry.  It was at His baptism that God Himself anointed Him!  And given that Jesus proclaimed a jubilee that year (Lk. 4:19; cf. Isa. 61:2), 2027 would be the 40th jubilee from that time—the end of the age and the year that the land returns to its rightful ruler of Christ and His Church.

A comment on “prophetic years”: I think there may be some useful prophetic purpose behind the use of 360-day years in some calculations, but we are still left with three significant issues: first, even the calendars in use at the time of Daniel used intercalation.  Years still had the same length as our own on average.  It doesn't matter which calendar you use, be it Hebrew, Babylonian, Egyptian, or Enochian, it still had mechanisms to align with the seasons.  Second, examples of the use of these purported prophetic years are only found in limited passages, specifically Genesis 7, Daniel 9, and in the book of Revelation.  Even in these passages, it isn't clear that intercalation isn't being used.  For example, in Daniel 12:11 we see 1,290 days used (versus 1,260 days in other passages).  This may actually be a reference to a period of time that includes an intercalary month.  In other words, the scant references to “times, time, and half a time” and “1,260 days” in a handful of places in Daniel and Revelation, may not be evidence for exclusively 360-day years, and simply references to relatively small periods of time without an intercalary month.  Third, the Bible doesn't explicitly define a prophetic year as a period of 360 days, or call us to calculate long stretches of time using exclusively 360-day years.  Even the biblical calendar itself, which begins on Nisan 1 (Abib), has to align with the seasons.

Side note about 27 AD: It just so happens that 27 AD being the likely start of Christ's ministry aligns with the first appearance of an alignment similar to the Revelation 12 Sign in 3974 BC.  That would have been exactly 4,000 years prior.  Could it have been the Fall of Mankind when God first gave the prophecy of a woman, a serpent, and a male child as recorded in Genesis 3:15–16?  July 28, 3974 BC:

(1) Saturn (Satan) attempting to raise his throne above the stars of God (see Isa. 14:12–15; cf. Ez. 28:12–19).

(2) A crown of 12 stars.

(3) Virgo clothed in the sun.

(4) Mars (enmity, war, judgment) befalling mankind.  Consider also God's judgment on Eve of painful labor!  Mars may have entered Virgo's womb as the judgment was given (Gen. 3:16)!

(5) Jupiter in a similar location to September 23, 2017 following a 9–10 month retrograde within Virgo's womb, albeit with less precision than 2017.

(6) The moon is under Virgo's feet.

So in this way, 27 AD as the anointing of Christ, commencement of His ministry, and demarcation of a jubilee year, works both forwards (to 2027 AD as the return of Christ) and backwards (to the possible Fall of Mankind).  27 AD would naturally place Christ's crucifixion in 31 AD, which has growing consensus, as it is probably the prime candidate for a year in which Christ would have died on a Wednesday or Thursday.  In fact, one of the strongest arguments for an April 3, 33 AD crucifixion date was the partial lunar eclipse that evening (cf. Acts 2:14–21).  This had me convinced for a number of years, but further research indicates that the eclipse was unlikely to have been seen by many, if any at all, and probably wouldn't have appeared very red.  However, Wednesday, April 25th of 31 AD featured a much clearer and more distinct blood moon that could have been seen over Jerusalem at about 10:00 PM—the evening of Christ's death or the night before when He was betrayed by Judas (source).  It would also make the next 40 years a prophetic period of testing—counting inclusively—40 years from the beginning of the Church to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.

Returning again to the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, it has been noted for the past two years or so that the decree doesn't explicitly tell us if the reference is to the Messiah's first or second arrival.  Could it be both?  A dual prophecy of sorts?  What we are given is a period of 69 weeks of years from the decree to the Messiah's arrival and a final week of years at the end.  Because the final week of years concludes with continual righteousness brought into Jerusalem and the sealing of all prophecy, that period must be the same in both instances.

A possible starting point for a second count could be the decree given by Suleiman the Magnificent somewhere between 1535 and 1537 AD to also restore and rebuild Jerusalem.  The current walls of the Old City of Jerusalem were built because of this very decree.  69 weeks of years later lands in either 2018, 2019, or this very year—2020.  Some sources pinpoint 1535 as the decree and others 1537.  I've researched this myself, and there is scant evidence either way, but we do know beyond a shadow of a doubt that construction on the walls themselves began in 1537.

Consider that the first decree was counting to Jesus Himself arriving as Messiah at His baptism when the Holy Spirit came down from Heaven to anoint Him.  Perhaps the second decree is counting to the body of Messiah (the Church) being taken up along with the Holy Spirit (1 Thess. 4:13–18; 2 Thess. 2:3, 7) to meet the Lord in the air.  This is when we become one with Christ corporately—the body joined to the Head.

3. Heavenly signs mark the possible midpoint and end of the Tribulation.  Back in 2017 many thought that the Great American Solar Eclipse might have been a warning that the Tribulation could begin that Fall, while the 2024 total solar eclipse might mark the final months before the end.  Clearly that was not the case, but interestingly, the April 2024 eclipse falls within a couple of weeks from Passover in the middle of the Tribulation if the Tribulation begins this Fall.  The 'x' over the greatest Gentile nation on earth will finally be completed, having crossed the path of the 2017 eclipse.  Could it point to the judgment on all nations and the final three and a half years of the Tribulation as God's angels begin to pour out their bowls of wrath?

Even more amazingly, on August 2, 2027 AD, a mere month or two before Christ might actually set foot on the Mount of Olives (Acts 1:7–12; cf. Zech. 14:1–5), a total solar eclipse will cross through the Middle East and North Africa.  It will go directly over Egypt.  Even more amazingly, this eclipse is the second-longest total solar eclipse this entire century.  From any particular observer's perspective, the sun will be darkened over Egypt for approximately six and a half minutes—over twice as long as what was experienced during the Great American Solar Eclipse.  Remember, the second-to-last plague during the exodus was darkness over the whole land of Egypt and out of the 21 judgments in Revelation, the 19th is also darkness!  Six and a half minutes of darkness over Egypt and other locales in the Middle East certainly doesn't constitute the fifth bowl judgment, but it could be pointing to it.  As in Heaven, so on earth.  God made the sun, moon, and stars for signs (Gen. 1:14; Ps. 19:1–4).

As I pointed out in my recent video series on biblical astronomy, the heavens began telling a story in 2016, the pinnacle of which was the Great Sign in September of 2017, but the heavenly story continues and appears to conclude in the Fall of 2027.  Jupiter entered the first or alpha constellation in the biblical Mazzaroth (Virgo) in 2016 and transits around the whole ecliptic, entering the final or omega constellation (Leo) in the Summer-Fall timeframe of 2027.  The end-of-the-age story of redemption, told in the stars, might then be complete.

4. The convergence of signs appears to be complete.  What more could possibly need to happen at this point?  Israel is advanced in years, we're closing in on three years transpiring since the Church's exit sign in the form of the Great Sign of Revelation 12, everything is ready and prepared for construction of the Third Temple (including the priests themselves who will serve in it), and now the world is racing at breakneck speed toward the mark of the beast as Bill Gates, the GAVI vaccine alliance, Trust Stamp, and Mastercard are joining together to combine a vaccine passport, unique ID, and payment system all in one that will be pushed on the entire world population (source).  As I've said throughout the year, I've seen seeming prophetic “contractions” come and go with increasing frequency over the past decade, but this is the first year that seems to be one big unrelenting push.  The baby is almost here.

  1. Wow,Gary! You did a great job. My wife & I just finished watching Revelation Road: Beginning of the end on Pureflix tonight and came to tears watching the rapture scene. We're longing for our Lord to take us home. Then I open up Unsealed and read your article. What excitement brother! I've been preaching this stuff from the pulpit for 8 years now. In fact, I mentioned the masks to my congregants this past week that you can't buy or sale without the mask. Sorry about the punctuation and grammer. You think college would have helped me. Lol. Again, I am ready for the trumpet to sound.

  2. 2020-CALIF GOV NEWSOME BANS CHURCH GATHERINGS/SINGING BUT PERMITS DOMESTIC TERRORISTS TO RIOT!
“While the Governor has unilaterally and significantly restricted the number of individuals permitted to ‘gather’ in Plaintiffs’ churches, he has imposed no similar restrictions on the untold thousands of protesters who have gathered all throughout California cities with no threat of criminal sanction, and no social distancing or restrictions whatsoever.” the suit says. “And, the Governor explicitly encouraged such large gatherings of protesters while condemning churches for singing hymns in their churches.”

The lawsuit is unique in that it also targets the state’s implicit prohibition on Bible studies.

  4. And now we just had the 7.8 in Alaska. :)

    Great article Gary!

I might add to your list, though there are so many to list:

Both the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea increase in water, and specifically with the Dead Sea and it's lower half turning fresh with fish living in it. :)

The thing that tears at me as of late is the massive discord within the Body. For whatever reason it starts, it is the onslaught of attacks from many directions from the adversary.

I've had to withdraw fellowship not just from the obvious deviant folks I knew as friends just 2-3 years ago in harmony, who follow these odd and wild and dangerous extremes now, but others who simply can't break out of the block chain of arguments and divisiveness. The danger is the constant focus on the chaos and the world and the things of the world. As if we can and should change what is coming. Many have forgotten their first love.

3 years ago I was given the task to start a small private fellowship on social media. From that grew others, but always that one was His work for me personally. A good friend has established a few groups of his own there and I help him on his efforts as I am able.

About a year and a half or so ago I was also pushed to work at encouragement and edification of the Body as my call. That's a tall order these days without His spirit within us. I stumble a lot. I have a history of anger and my how the Lord has changed my life in this regard. Still the flesh rears it's ugly head every once and a while and I find myself full of holes in my tongue from biting it so much.

I am nothing and no one in the scheme of things, but boy do I appreciate Paul's struggle in this department. From hate and anger to Love and compassion is a wild ride of growth. I also have to depend and trust in Him to finish that work daily, almost hourly now...

The spiritual warfare going on right now is just staggering. For everyone at odds with the adversary in whatever way they are.

Unity in the Body will be found only among those who look for His soon return, and right now, the church is ill and distressed. And we all know why.

Anyone not looking to Him in all things is looking somewhere else, focused somewhere else. No wonder there is so much turmoil and chaos just within the Body.

    But... I digress.... :)

    6. I was wondering about the increase of water in the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea, as well as the increasing fresh water in relation to the 47th chapter of Ezekiel. I had understood this chapter to speak of the start of and increase of the Church beginning from the death and resurrection of Jesus. However, as prophecy can be fulfilled on multiple levels, I was curious whether or not this passage had been connected to recent events in the Sea of Galilee, etc.

(Forgive me if you have already addressed this elsewhere.)

With the Three Gorges Dam reportedly displacing, distorting and flexing may we soon see catastrophic failure of the structure? God forbid as the flooding alone is bad enough. But if it does may we see a type and shadow of another catastrophe yet to descend on the world?

What does a dam do by design?

    It restrains.

What will happen when the restrainer (dam) is removed?

  10. More confirmation that the year 2020 is the year of the rapture! (Part 1 of 3)

In Daniel chapter 12 we are told of two time periods; they are 1290 days and 1335 days. When will these two time periods be? I would like to share with you what I believe is one of the possibilities. I believe this is just more confirmation that the rapture is in the year 2020. I hope you will be blessed with this!

    Titus 2:13 (KJV)
    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

In Daniel Chapter 12 God explains to Daniel what will happen in the end of days. These two sets of days in chapter 12 are not in the seven years of tribulation in the book of Revelation. In Revelation, the tribulation is described as two periods of time that are 1260 days and 1260 days, or seven years comprised of seven 360-day years thus the 2520 days to complete the tribulation. They just don’t seem to fit in the tribulation time frame. I am going to show you where they do fit and fit like a glove they do.

    Daniel 12:8-13 (KJV)
    8. And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
    9. And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
    10. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Lets take a look at verse 11:
    11. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

What we are looking for are two key components; they are the taking away of the daily sacrifice, and the setup for the abomination of desolation that Jesus tells us in Matthew 24:15.

THE TAKING AWAY OF THE DAILY SACRIFICE
First, we need the explanation of the taking away of the daily sacrifice. That has happened more than once, so we need the one that will take us to the setup of the abomination of desolation.
In 609 BC Jehoiakim began to reign at the age of 25 and reigned for eleven years. See 2 Kings 23:36. In the year 606 BC Jehoiakim was given in to the hand of Nebuchadnezzar and the vessels used for the daily sacrifice were taken from God’s temple as written in Daniel 1:1-2 “1. In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.
2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.”
This is confirmed by a second witness in 2 Chronicles 36:5-7 “5 Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord his God.
6 Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
7 Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the Lord to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.”

    1. More confirmation that the year 2020 is the year of the rapture! (Part 2 of 3)

God really wanted to bring this particular “taking away of the daily sacrifice” to your attention, so much so he made it as plain as the handwriting on the wall, so to speak! God shows us just how important this is in Daniel chapter 5. Here’s the scripture:

      Daniel 5:1-5 (KJV)
      1. Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand.
      2. Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein.
      3. Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them.
      4. They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.
      5. In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.
      25. And this is the writing that was written, Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin.
      26. This is the interpretation of the thing: Mene; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.
      27. Tekel; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.
      28. Peres; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

In the book of Daniel, 1290 and 1335 should be interpreted as years and not days as evidenced in Daniel chapter 9. Now that we have established that let’s do the math and see where this takes us. If we add 1290 years to the year 606 BC, we come to the year 685 AD. Something really significant happened in 685 AD as it applies to our situation, that’s the year the Dome of the Rock started construction.

ABOMINATION THAT MAKETH DESOLATE SET UP
In 685 AD the Dome of the Rock began construction. I believe this is the setup for the abomination. The Jews will most likely build their 3rd temple on the temple mount where the Dome is, making way for the Anti-Christ to sit on the throne in the temple to bring forth the prophecy that Jesus foretold in Matthew 24:15

    2. More confirmation that the year 2020 is the year of the rapture! (Part 3 of 3)

      WHAT ABOUT VERSE 12?
      12. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
If we add 1335 years (days) to the year 685 we come to the year 2020! I can’t think of a better blessing than being the generation to be raptured!!!!!
      13. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

TAKE A LOOK AT THE PHRASE “AND COMETH” IN VERSE 12
Here is the Strong’s definition of “and cometh”:

      H5060
      נגע
      nâga‛
      naw-gah'
      A primitive root; properly to {touch} that {is} lay the hand upon (for any purpose; {euphemistically} to lie with a woman); by implication to reach (figuratively to {arrive} acquire ); {violently} to strike ({PUNISH} {defeat} {destroy} etc.): - {BEAT} (X BE ABLE TO) BRING ({DOWN}) {cast} come ({nigh}) draw near ({nigh}) get {up} {happen} {join} {near} {PLAGUE} reach ({up}) {smite} {strike} touch.

I have bolded some of the definition’s. I believe these apply to the year 2020!

There is something else that stands out about Daniel chapter 12. I have always believed that the chapter leads us directly to Revelation chapter 12. It takes us to the first verse about the Revelation 12 sign. How blessed were we to get to see that sign in 2017! To me verse 12:12 adds up to the 24 elders, which I believe the Body of Christ is a part of. We will be in the throne room when Jesus opens the first seal. When the “day of Christ is at hand” as mentioned in 2nd Thessalonians 2:2 Look at what Revelation 12 verse 12 says “12. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”

How much more confirmation do we need?

      Come Lord Jesus Come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a brilliant find regarding the 1,290 and 1,335 days! It makes sense especially as a dual fulfilment of the prophecy for days and years and begs for further study. Even as Jewish Civil and Ecclesiastic calendars sync, fall out-of-sync and overlap one another still they witness what Scripture gives us with fascinating connections via day counts and potentially well fit puzzle pieces.

Thank you for the wonderful study and walk through Daniel!

    7. Very interesting Jon. If I can just put in a 'but', it would be that Daniel 12 doesn't delineate the time period between the daily sacrifice and the AoD, but they are two activities of the same event, and the 1290 days is a time-line after these two events.

These are clearly noted in Daniel 9 and Daniel 11.

From Daniel 11:30Then he will turn back and rage against the holy covenant and do damage. So he will return and show favor to those who forsake the holy covenant. 31His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. They will abolish the daily sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation.

So two activities at the same time (which makes sense...when you stop the daily sacrifice, you are doing it to replace it with something else).

And in Daniel 9, it provides a clear timeline for both the stopping of the daily sacrifice and the setting up of the AoD: And he will confirm a covenant with many for one week,i but in the middle of the week he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of the temple will come the abomination that causes desolation.

So the middle of the week is when it notes the activities take place.

Anyway, my two cents. Interesting commentary.

    10. I think Daniel's counts will are being fulfilled in both years and days.

According to "Jehoiakim - Wikipedia" - In late 598 BC, the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II invaded Judah and again laid seige to Jerusalem.

The Dome of the rock was constructed between 688 and 692 AD.

Therefore we have a 1290 year gap of time between 598 BC, when one could suggest as when the daily sacrifice was stopped, and 692 AD, when the Dome of the Rock was completed.

1335 years from 692 AD would be 2027, which would be the 2nd Coming given a rapture in 2020 with 7 years of Tribulation.

    11. Good stuff JON. My wife didn’t quite buy it so when I asked, “Do you think this was merely coincidental?” She then paused a great while and then said, “Maybe not”....so she was willing to compromise and call it a dual purpose.

  11. I love the hope that articles like this bring.

But, I feel that scripturally, there might be a problem with the time frame of Rapture in Fall 2020, and then Trib starts Fall 2020. Because where are the ten kings??? The Anti-christ is described, in both Daniel and Revelation as arising AFTER ten kings (three of whom he "destroys" somehow). Whether this is a European group (ten kings from a revived Roman Empire) or world-wide doesn't matter - we don't see such a group and I find it very hard to swallow the idea that Rapture, then ten kings, then AC shows up, all happening within a week or two of each other. The timing honestly just doesn't work! (If someone else can describe how they think it realistically could happen, I'd love to hear it). Now, with this said, it is possible that we get Raptured this year and then ten kings arise in the chaos and maybe the Trib starts next year. That's a time line that's short, but I think do-able. It would also still fit into an 80-year Fig Tree generation time line.

If we don't get Raptured this year, then I think we'll see this ten-kings federation start to form up. And the US is likely to fall into further chaos (doesn't matter who wins the Nov election, people will riot! But if Biden wins, I'd guess he'll fall right in line with the globalists to form a global coalition).

So I hope for Rapture this Fall (so, so hope for it), but am afraid we may have to hold on a while longer yet.

I do believe the whole world will freak out after the rapture and things will be accelerating quickly. Plus, the earth dwellers will be looking for answers and a man to lead the way with all the answers. I’m also not aware the Bible says we have to go immediately from rapture to daniels 70th week. I have no idea how long the interval could be but I’ve read people like DBerner advocate a 3 year interval. I guess what I’m trying to say is, once the restrained is removed, expect anything to happen. Cheers!

To answer your question, this may help.

The Biblical Prophecies directed towards 'End Times' are very specific about the nature of the people, places and events of which they speak. For that reason, the world becomes a stage on which the manifestation of prophecy is played out. The players involved, whether cognizant or not of the part they play, are on stage, playing out the drama on a daily basis.

"The Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men"

God has set times for all of the events in Biblical Prophecy, including the Rapture of the Church.

His Majesty King Abdullah II has put forth a peace plan that is called the 'two basket' approach. In it he pledges to integrate Israel into the Arab economic community, and he pledges to deliver the Arab World's guarantee of Israel's security.

As of November 2001 he has received the backing of the United States, the European Union, the United Nations, Russia, Egypt and Jordan to accomplish this peace.

      Ten Arab Nations
There are ten Arab Nations that influence the decision to enforce Israel's security:
      1. Egypt
      2. United Arab Emirates
      3. Oman
      4. Qatar
      5. Saudi Arabia
      6. Bahrain
      7. Kuwait
      8. Syria
      9. Libya
      10.Iraq

Presently, the King has secured seven of their signatures on his peace covenant, with three abstentions: Syria, Libya, & Iraq.

As the Peacemaker, Abdullah will single himself out as the broker of the covenant as well as the guarantor of the peace. And as a result of this guarantee the troublemakers will be uprooted. This will be accomplished by a coalition of forces led by the USA and Great Britain.

      The Troublemakers
The three present day Arab leaders whose regimes will be 'uprooted' are:
      1. Bashar Assad of Syria,
      2. Muammar Gaddafi of Libya
      3. Saddam Hussein of Iraq.

Its probably best if you read it for yourself.

    6. Interesting scenario to ponder Gregg. I noticed that idea began about 20 years ago and two of those nations basically don’t even have a nation today (Iraq and Syria) .....I’m not sure what is going on with Libya, but it usually isn’t good.

So, are you implying this can mean King Abdullah is the “little horn” coming out from the 10 horns? That he could be the 1st Beast of Rev 13? Being a Muslim, I can’t imagine anyone could see him as Israel’s Messiah.

So what exactly are you inferring from this?

Yes, and the covenant is still there. The whole history of the Jews and the Muslim are so intertwined.
Both by Abraham ( isaac and ishmael ). And Benjamin Netanyahu has seen it all and understands it all.

The King fits the role perfectly.

  12. I've also considered the 9th Day of Av which is in just a few days as a possible Rapture date. Not setting dates, just a consideration. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and wouldn't it make sense if the Temple of God in us is taken from the earth on the same day both Jewish temples were destroyed (taken from the earth.) It would certainly make Jews jealous that on the day of their mourning the Rapture happens and they are left behind. 1 Corinthians 6:19, Ephesians 4:30,Romans 11

    1. 9 Av is in Rabbinic tradition the birth of Moshiach (Messiah). How ironic it would be if the birth was the birth of the child, the body of Christ, born and taken to God and His throne!

  13. Welcome Back Gary, and thanks, I have been praying for you.

    Strongs 2020 = Hebrew word = Deliverance =

The 9th of Av makes sense to me as a possibility - only God knows for sure -
As the Jews rejected the Promised Land on the 9th of Av and have faced the consequences for it over and over, so it makes sense that God may consider the 9th of Av as a day to communicate with them the consequences of their having rejected Messiah's redemption for their sins. Their mourning may turn to joy as their eyes are open - zechariah 12:10-14 - and the isolation of the families at that time may represent to coronovirus quarantine family by family...

JR Church has a book called "Hidden Prophecies in the Psalms" and in his perspective, Psalm 48 represented 1948, and Psalm 120 would then represent 2020...and Psalm 120 is the first Psalm of Accent...

Only God knows for sure...Hoping for the soon return of our King, the Lord Jesus Christ.

  14. Gary, your analysis is outstanding. I always thought Luke 4:19 was the key so for me 2028 was my working theory for the 2nd coming. BUT I had nagging issues with the "decrees' to rebuild which you resolved very well along with the best calendar work to tie up the data so compellingly. I am not only persuaded re 2020/2027 but find it very comforting! THANKS!

  15. Since some are speaking of 3RG, I'm waiting to see Ezekiel 29 come to light.

Aswan (Lotus/Syene) Dam where the Lotus Tower [Tower of Syene] is. An epic judgment comes on it, which ruins the Nile and makes all of Egypt desolate for 40 years...

The description implies toxic (maybe even radioactive).

    1. Well... that would imply that the Millenial Kingdom isn't going to be all peace and harmony everywhere, wouldn't it? Perhaps it already happened in the past somewhere, or it was conditional? Or we have surprises awaiting us post Second Coming... Guess we wait and see.

      Delete
    2. Well technically if you think about it, that 40 years of desolation of Egypt, even if it starts early in the Tribulation could extend into the first decades of the Millennial reign.

There will be a lot of rebuilding up front in the first decades.

God promises to rebuild His tabernacle... the rest of the world? Nature is re-balanced for peace, and the earth restored yes... Other buildings of men? I dunno...

      Amos 9:11–12:

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches of it; and
I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old, That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the nations, which are called by my name, saith the LORD who doeth this.

Egypt is under a critical judgment during the millennium too.

Consider the Feast of Tabernacles for all nations during that 1000 years, and those who don't come, are punished by lack of rain as a plague (Zech 14:16-19). But the word goes further on this for Egypt specifically.

Seems Egypt may be obstinate up front in the early time, for it to be mentioned so specifically.

  16. Hi this is George from “The Return of the King” YouTube channel. I couldn’t agree more with your statement about “2017 being big, but 2020 is on another level”. 2017 was huge because for the first time ever, we saw a sign in the heavens, from the book of Revelation, that was an exact match. Not only was it an exact match, but it had a moving component, Jupiter going into retrograde inside the womb of Virgo for 9 months. That sealed the deal for me. Plus, the total solar eclipse across American, and the blood moon tetrads. A trifecta of signs! How could you not be excited!
Enter 2020. As you say, “It’s truly is on another level”. Everything on earth and in the heavens are pointing to the start of the tribulation this fall. My focus is on the heavens. Everything I see in the heavens, and every new thing I find in them, points to a 2020 start to the tribulation. I’m trying to find an alternative interpretation to what I’m seeing, and so far, I just can’t find one. Kind of scary. We will never know with 100% certainty until after it happens (the rapture), but I think this is about as close as it gets on this side of heaven!
Even the comet Neowise showed up in the correct constellations having to do with the rapture of the church and the coming judgement of those left behind!
What about the name Neo-wise? Who is Neo? Neo is the messianic character in the movie “The Matrix”. Neo is the “One” prophesized by the Oracle to save humanity from the machines. Choi in the movie thanked him: “Hallelujah. You’re my savior, man. My own personal Jesus Christ.” What’s their ship named? The “Nebuchadnezzar”. It was king Nebuchadnezzar to whom God gave the dream about the times in which we are now living!
You just can’t make this stuff up!
I’ll be putting out a video on the this, shortly.
This has got to be it!!

    2. Hello Gents (and everyone else),

Question really but found on Hourly Watch ytc.

      1) Because NEOWISE was not in the picture in 2017, therefore, 2017 was NOT the GWR12. Due to NEOWISE here in 2020, this 9/19-9/20 is the GWR12 and "departure?"

      2) NEOWISE = Lucifer. Really? Yes, nasa (aka rcc jesuits) named it "1964 UA". So using good ole Stellerium, type in 1964 UA and you'll see NEOWISE pop up in Cancer (today, 7/23). Interesting.

  20. Hi Gary,
If you look at the heavens in the years 1535, 1536 and 1537 you will find that only in the year 1537 do we see something that makes sense. On Sept 5-6, 1537(Feast of Trumpets), we find Jupiter in the constellation Taurus, Taurus being about the coming judgement, and we find Saturn (Satan) under the rear leg of Leo. A perfect image of the coming tribulation, and the taking of the kingdom from Satan! 1537 plus 483 equals the year 2020. Another match for the tribulation to start this year!
Thanks for the great work! It’s been a long hard road, but we can finally see that we have arrived at our destination!

  21. Outstanding, Gary! I am rejoicing! Thank God for all He has done in you and through you. Interestingly, just a few days ago my friend Erin sent me a text with the same verse you received in the email from the pastor. Don't you love how the Lord encourages us?

I was struck by the alignment you pointed out that happened on July 28, 3974. Do you remember the birth dream I had seven years ago? I dreamed it on July 28, 2013. Today, July 22, is the official due date of my miracle son and he is showing no signs of appearing yet. I will be so curious to see if he will appear on the 28th. That dream was quite intense, giving birth beneath a fig tree as hail fell from the sky & other apocalyptic features.

I'm also blessed and curious at how this breathless waiting for my baby to be born parallels so much of the watchman community as we watch and wait for our Lord. I am in a constant state of readiness and anticipation, knowing any moment the birth pangs could begin. I am longing for his (and HIS) appearing. I am watching for any sign of his nearness. And as you pointed out the significance of 40 in this article, I am forty years old. I feel like this comment is all over the place (baby brain!) but it's all coming together so perfectly as only God can do.

Thank you for this article and your faithful service. Congratulations on ten years of Unsealed!!! If things were different right now I'd bake us all a birthday cake. :)

I cannot express how excited I am for you! Please know that prayers are going up for you, your family and a smooth delivery without complications. It's clear that you cherish every moment of this -- seal it in your heart just as Mary did at the coming of her beloved Jesus.

Indeed, we are breathlessly waiting for the coming of our Lord. Our sons were all induced with our eldest induced one-month late! He was so happy in there he didn't want to come out to play! That was 26-years ago. 12-years later when we were in our mid-40's we added two more sons to the roll-call so we've been there and done that!

Welcome to the club, mom! Would you have believed all of this would be happening seven years later? How beautiful it would be to celebrate a birthday on 7/28/20.

      Blessings!

PS> I'd like to help you make that cake -- even if, and especially if, it's in the Kingdom to come! Can't wait to hang-out then!!

I am certainly cherishing every moment, although they are a little on the emotional side sometimes, haha. I love what you said about sealing it in my heart like Mary did. Yes and amen.

Wow...a month overdue! I can't even imagine that! In the state where I live, by law I've only got a "grace period" of 2 weeks I can go over, otherwise I will have to get induced. I'm praying for a birth well before that though. Your encouragement and prayers are so appreciated! Thank you, brother!

As hard as it can be, the hard passes and cherished memories remain. Our first was born with challenges that required several surgeries to rectify. I cannot call them defects (as much as they were) as all of it had purpose for us before God. But those days passed and are a memory. We are left with a son we are so proud of -- now a grown man growing the spreading out as a tree of his own.

Can't wait to see your first photos!

    4. I had around the time of the Rev 12 sign something similar. My mother had been living with us for awhile but finally got approved for housing assistance... several states away in a what many would consider 'the wilderness' (Wyoming) She moved out right before the Rev 12 sign, maybe a week or two prior. Three and a half years from then would line up somewhere around Purim I think... (From 9/23/2017 to 3/6/2021... yeah... about a week after Purim... and 8 days before the end of the 'spiritual year' Hmm... maybe I should have paid a little more attention to her departure date...

It's all in God's timing now... Maybe He completes this in our current Gregorian calendar year... or maybe the Hebrew one. We know He will do it at the right time. Let that be our faith if the fall feasts pass by without trumpets...

    6. Here it is, Gary!

      My dream of 7/28/13—

I gave birth beneath a fig tree. I had stopped to gather figs and suddenly I was in water beneath the tree, and gave birth to a baby still wrapped in a caul. It began to hail, and as ice fell from the sky I somehow made it to a nearby shelter, like a shed. But something told me to return to the fig tree, so I went back. As I sat in my birthing water under it, surrounded by figs and ice, I could see bright fresh blood pouring out of me into the water. I became desperate for the survival of my baby. So I pulled out my cell phone (gotta love dreams) and called a midwife who started walking me through what to do to save my baby. After this it drifted off, as dreams do.

  24. About the Tribulation starting immediately after the rapture. Have we taken into account the Ezekiel 38-39 Gog-magog war. Doesn't Israel burn weapons for 7 years? I agree with Bill Salus, that there is going to be a period of time between the rapture and the Tribulation. Think about it, millions disappearing at once. It will take time for the world to recover and with millions who are born again in the U.S. gone, this will make them less important on tbe world stage. This will explain why the U.S. possibly doesn't come to Israel aid when Russia, Iran, & Turkey with their allies invade Israel. Just a thought!

    3. Chosen 12,

Glad to see you here! I pray all is going well with your congregation and that you are staying connected in this time of trouble. I too have come to suspect a gap between the harpazo and beginning of the last week of Daniel.

Two crossing events come to mind when I think of departures. One is the Red Sea crossing (Exodus 14:13-18 ESV) while the second is the Jordan River crossing (Joshua 3).

Is the Red Sea crossing representative of the church or is the Jordan River crossing representative of the church? Perhaps both? The concept of last will be first and first will be last comes to mind here. But if imminent war is that which we are taken from then the Red Sea crossing makes sense. The catastrophe that follows for the world is so clear.

Just as Israel cried out to the LORD at the edge of the sea; so too do we cry out to the LORD. The parallels are astounding.

The woman (Israel) has a crossing to make of her own at which time the earth shall open its mouth and swallow the armies of the dragon. NOTE: In no way do I teach replacement theology. We are the wild (uncultivated) olive branch not the cultivated olive -- just in case anyone was wondering!

The major players in the ME fall on classical lines. It's an east v west thing...again. A pre-fall harpazo would remove the United States from the playing field and provide a window of time for the rise of the NWO. That world will not be kind to Israel. Indeed we do see her flee into the wilderness on the AoD at which time the time of Jacob's trouble begin.

We see war at the second coming but we also see it after a little while once Satan is released from the pit. A word study shows that the 1,000-years of its imprisonment is a full measure of time. The time it is allowed free to deceive mankind (again) is, in contrast, the shortest of time.

17 "Do not think that I have
come to abolish the Law or the
Prophets; I have not come to
      abolish them but to fulfill
      them.

18 For truly, I say to you,
      until heaven and earth pass
away, not an iota, not a dot,
[jot or yud - the smallest
      letter of the alephbet] will
pass from the Law until all
      is accomplished.

      RED LETTERS (Matthew 5:17-18 ESV)

Given that Hebrew letters are also numbers I believe we can identify the unit of time spoken of as "י" or (yud). "י" is the smallest (least) and most humble of the letters of the alephbet -- was representative of an outstretched arm/hand in ancient Hebrew and has a value of 10.

The millennia of years that Satan is bound in darkness is 10^3 (1e3) or 1,000 years. The least measure of the power of 10's would be express as 10^1 (1e1) or 10. Does that mean that Satan will be allowed to roam the Earth for 10-years after its release? I certainly hope not! But I am pretty sure about this...

Will the Kingdom of Christ have a defence and military budget? I don't think so.

When mankind rises again to war against God and His People; with what will the hordes of adam arm themselves with? They won't be riding into battle in tanks -- they will be armed with weapons they have made themselves.

Will God be surprised by this? [Ask a stupid question...]

The only sword needed in the Kingdom is the double-edged Word of God that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord LORD ("יהוה").

If the seven-years of burning arms is the foundry melting of arms, equipment and munitions after the Second Coming to make more useful things that makes sense. (Israel, after-all, is rather industrious!) Somehow I don't think there will be enough weapons laying around after the MK to burn for seven years.

Now then, the question of how long is a 1,000-years? A day? Or is a day a thousand years each? Do the math if you like but no matter how long it is it will all come to pass won't it?!

Best of all, it will be as a twinkling of an eye in comparison to the eternity we have yet to spend together with our LORD GOD and KING.

All good points for our further study...

      Blessings, brother!

    8. I've run across her work as well. Brenda believes the Tribulation began on 9/23/17, the Gog/Magog war within the next few months, and the rapture on the Feast of Trumpets in September. I'm not completely sold, but it is an interesting mid-trib position.

      Delete
    9. I watched Brenda’s video that was linked here. She is using the Rev 12 date to start the 70th week and believes the rapture is about 3 years after this dare (9/23/17). She shockingly has the seals released AFTER the trumpets, which seemed quite odd to me.

To her credit, she said if the Gog War doesn't happen in this August with God delivering Israel, and if the Temple is not rebuilt shortly after this resuming sacrifices, then discard everything she has said because her research is in error. She has the rapture i believe on 9/28/20.....which is another red flag for me....setting a specific date rather than a season.

She seems very genuine and i like her a lot....just find some of her conclusions and beliefs to be quite “out there.”.”

  27. Daniel's 70th week decreed for Israel is a period of 7 prophetic years. This event consists of two halves as per the related prophetic visions... 1260 days (first half) + 1,290 days (second half) = 2550 days. From the Abomination of Desolation until Christ's Second Coming will be 1,290 days (Daniel 12:11). According to https://torahcalendar.com, September 18, 2020 is the feast of TRUMPETS and September 12, 2027 is the feast of ATONEMENT = 2550 days (7-year Tribulation period). Coincidence? 2. Dan. 11:40-45 strangely mirrors what we see happening. I'm not saying this is the ultimate fulfillment, but the Turkey, Libya, Egypt situation is at least a clear type and shadow. Historically speaking, Egypt was the kingdom of the south, the Ptolemaic offshoot of Alexander's empire. Turkey was in the northern part and it is also north of Israel and north of Egypt.

"40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him."

Another great one. There is just so much going on this year its hard to even keep track. Lucky for people like me, you guys are good at keeping track.

Something I have experienced here is also got me thinking of the set up for the mark early into tribulation. There is a "national coin shortage" that is being fabricated right now. Businesses around here refuse to give change for cash transactions, which then leads to less cash being spent, which then leads to less cash in circulation, which quickly leads to a cashless system to be permanently implemented.

At our local Walmart, a woman I know of bought $32 in groceries, paid with two 20's. They took the money, shut the drawer and said thank you. Stole $8 from her. She complained, and the managers just said sorry, we don't give change anymore. She ended us calling the police and reporting a theft. In the end the police sided with the woman, Walmart gave her her $40 back and the left the groceries.

I find it interesting that there is a "shortage" when the only way for that is taking money out of circulation. It's obviously planned, and people are gonna be rolled into this "new normal" just like all the masks and "social distancing". The rate at which people have stopped questioning these massive social and economic changes only better supports the likelyhood of a quick rise of the anti-christ and one world government. I used to think it would be hard far everything to transpire so fast in Tribulation, but the world is set to accept it like cold lemonade on a hot day; without question, and eagerly.

    Anyway, I'll stop my ramble.

God Bless, and keep up the watch

    1. What a sobering thing to be happening. So Walmart wouldn't even give back $8 in bills, not coins? I'm glad the law sided with her but you are so right about this being planned and folks being conditioned for all that is to come.

      Come, Lord Jesus!

    2. Yeah... they could at least give her an $8 dollar credit for the next time...

As for the 'currency' shortage, that could just be people not using enough cash or coins (hoarding perhaps?) because most have cards of one sort or another... There has always been a limited amount in circulation, the quarantine might be slowing down it's flow...

Most money is digital now anyways, 50 more years and physical currency will probably only be used in the poorest of countries...

    3. No doubt a big part of the CV hegelian dialectic is to get rid of cash and change and go 100% digital. It will be necessary for the MOB.

  30. Just a thought.
The constellation sagetarius “the rider on a white horse”
Has a constellation “Corona Australis” at his feet. Revelation 6 says the rider is given a corona to go forward conquering and to conquer! The scripture matches the heavens. Right now Saturn (Satan) is chasing Jupiter (body of Christ) into the rider on the white Horse anti-christ where they will conjunct later this year. Could this be what we are experiencing on earth? It feels like the enemy is closing in on us. God bless you all and thank you for sharing so many great thoughts. Maranatha!

These are exciting days for believers in the know - those of us who have been blessed with even a smidgeon of awareness of the time in which we are living. I am grateful to those who share their insights with those of us who've only an inkling and far less knowledge - on so many fronts: Biblical, historical, astronomical!
Every now and then I catch the teeniest of a glimmer into something.
400 years this coming winter from the signing of the Mayflower Compact - End Times Darkness Descending has an article on America in Bible prophecy.
    * * * * *
We can all see the events transpiring around us on a daily basis, sometimes hourly!
Chaos, confusion, and FEAR rein among the masses.
The devil is chomping at the bit and ready to take the lead once the Church is gone.
Can you imagine WHAT is going on in heaven right now?
You brought it up, "As in heaven, so on earth."
Are they as excited for are arrival as we are to get there?
Supper plans - check. Bema Awards ceremony - check. Places and plans for everyone - check.
Do Angels and heavenly beings feel any sort of trepidation?
Happy and excited for the arrival of the Church, but also knowing what will soon be transpiring on earth?
They know the Tribulation is coming and their roles in it.
    Just curious.

  33. Amazing catch. Mayflower, Mayflower Compact, Thanksgiving, Plymouth, start of America = 1620. 400 years to go to end of America?

There were also the ~400 silent years between Malachi and Christ.

    1. Not to mention, the Mayflower was a wooden ship - like an ark. It took persecuted Christians from the old world to the new world, just as the ark of the Cross will take believers from this old world to Heaven. Amen.

    2. 1. Gary, too, at one point the Jews were exiled and enslaved for 400 years (Genesis 15).
      2. America became the largest haven or refuge for the Jewish people - there are currently more Jews here than in Israel. That will soon change.

    3. 3. The Hebrew letter "ת" (tav) has a numeric value of 400
      4. Tav rendered in ancient Hebrew looks like a cross "x"
      5. The mark of (Ezekiel 9:4) is a tav
      6. The US Capitol Mall is laid out as a cross or tav
      7. Tav is the 22nd letter of the Hebrew alephbet

I'm sure that once the harpazo occurs that the aliyah will go to full swing! What's left of America will not be a friend of Israel. Why should they be?

    4. PR, YOU really are the best. Thanks for the addendum!
I read recently in one of the Israeli papers that many European Jews no longer feel safe and are planning on relocating to Israel soon. Israel expects and is planning for a huge influx of immigrants - if they only knew!

    5. Agreed PR.

For my part, I have long felt that Jeremiah 50 & 51 speak of this post-rapture and resurrection national Babylon, speak of the USA.

It has nothing to do with Mystery Babylon and is described as "Daughter of Babylon", as in a nation down the road on the timeline from the original historical Babylon.

And interestingly enough just before chapter 50 we have chapter 49 (profound I know :D ) in which one of the several judgments is the sister scripture of Isaiah 17 for Damascus.

Additionally in this chapter we find the demise of Elam (Western coast of Iran where the nuclear plant is) with the straight of Hormuz nearby.

Seems possible a domino of events, the triggers found in Jer 49, the resulting effects in 50 & 51 post rapture and resurrection.

Lets face it, if those two chapters are indeed about the fall of the USA, we know it can't happen until the Christians within it are gone, and also we know why she isn't mentioned at all later, or at best a side note of protest in Ezekiel.

Everything is practically screaming any moment now. :)

      Maranatha! :) <3

    6. And what I meant to add to the above was that within 50 & 51 you see the Lord call His people out of this Babylon... It could be dual in nature, Rapture and Resurrection for us, Aliyah for the American Jews.

  34. Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
    * * * * *
I've been wondering about OUR FUTURE.
Just as a lot of church folks don't give much thought to the Rapture ("When it happens, it happens, whatever...", I think even fewer think about AFTER the Rapture. I used to think Heaven was going to be pretty boring - singing and praising God ALL DAY LONG, EVERY SINGLE DAY, for FOREVER does not seem like fun or very fulfilling. God made us for so MUCH MORE than that. And, God is BETTER than that.
So, back to Ephesians 2. This seems ti imply that God is going to be using us as EXAMPLES of His grace and goodness.
I imagine much in the way He wanted to use Israel as an example to show the people of the world that if they obeyed Him He would bless them mightily, but when they didn't, they would be punished severely.
Except that we will be examples after the fact. Blessed in every way, despite our earthly transgressions, but having accepted His pardon, forgiven and beneficiaries of all Christ's heaven has to offer.
So, to WHOM exactly are we going to be used as an example? The verse says in the "coming ages."
There's an entire universe out there - more "people" to come?
Going way back to Isaiah, I think, were we not used as examples to the Angels as a refutation of Satan's accusations?
The Millennium seems to end God's work with mankind in terms of salvation.
Are we going to be examples for a new type of being to come during eternity?
    Just curious.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Jenny.....I have wondered the same....and then just realized we have an eternity to have with the Lord. I am positive our finite minds cant but scratch the universe of experiences we will be having. There is no end to the universe if you could keep hopping on the farthest star and keep looking in that direction. Likewis looking inward down to molecular size, I am sure there is no end to how small stuff becomes We have an eternity to explore an infinitely large and infinitely small universe.

God really lowered the bar for us as humans. I am positive we will be infinitely blessed with experiences beyond imagination.

I have often wondered if we as humans were to actually spend some time in heaven...if there is time there....but I wonder after coming back to this earth, how much more righteous and Christ like we would then be?

    Rewording that song a little...
When weve been there 10 trillion years, life shining as the sun....weve no less days to sing Gods praise, than when we first begun!

    1. Hi Stan!

I've pondered these things too and can share that there are limits to this part of creation. I hesitate using the term universe as it imparts the unit of one. A multiverse may be more appropriate.

As far as physics is concerned we have finite limits on how small units can be measured. There is a point at which you can go no further for if you do all of a sudden you are everywhere. The same goes for time. As for space? It is finite too according to the Bible as the heavens were stretched-out and are not endless.

Barry Setterfield is an excellent resource on these topics. He has both YT and website full of resources. Barry and Chuck Missler were very good friends. Highly recommended!

      As for our future?

It's just conjecture but given Adam represented mankind as Christ represents the Church -- and the body of Christ will be composed of Jew and Gentile in the end we all embody Adam and Christ in one as representatives of humanity and God in Christ. In this way we may become emissaries of God into the cosmos and all of His creations across time and spaces.

Angels if you will. Messengers and teachers.

We will begin in the MK and be translated into the new heavens and new Earth. Again and again and again eternally exploring and seeking out others to share the good news of Jesus Christ!

What an adventure that would be.

      Blessings bro!

    2. I too love to ponder the life-after Rapture. There'll be seven years in Heaven, a thousand years on Earth, then "ages to come". And it's the "ages" part that really boggles the mind. God created this universe with certain laws, but we know it doesn't encompass all of reality (Our universe doesn't take the angelic realm into account when dealing with laws of physics, for example). I keep thinking that God will create other universes, with other "laws" and other creations we can imagine and it'll be our privilege to explore these new things and praise God for his amazing ability to defy expectations, imaginations, and understanding.

I'm Soo looking forward to finding out what it'll be like!

If you've never read "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn, I recommend it.

      Delete
    3. I know we bring up God's Laws and physics a good bit here, but if you read the Genesis creation, you'll find that God actually worked OUTSIDE His laws! (Think Newton's Laws; especially the 2nd and entropy.) Amazing, really!
When we look at all the vast variety of life forms on this planet, how eco-systems work and how we all have our place in them, pondering an entire universe or, multi-verses as PR said, of life forms truly does become "mind boggling."
      * * * *
I like the idea of our becoming Ambassadors-Messengers-Teachers for Christ rather than just examples. Examples can also have a negative connotation.
      Let the ETERNAL ADVENTURE begin!

    4. Pastor Rich.... You made my point, but I didnt state it very clearly. What I am saying is if you take the most powerful electron microscope..and record the smallest "known" particle....I am saying if you could magnify that particle a billion times...you would find another particle....and this could go on forever. You would never approach absolute 0 as we have an infinite number of decimal points to approach to it...but never getting there. .00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 etc.etc.

As far as the heavens having a finite end, maybe you are correct. All I need is a scripture to have me stamp it as so. The heavens being spread out in my mind would be without end.....but...
it isnt no big deal to me anywdy as if all we had was the Milky Way galaxy.....it would keep me busy enough exploring its 100,000 light year spread!

Ah....just the peering through a telescope or a microscope makes me feel so infetesimally small and so unimportant in my eyes, but yet God loves each of us more than we can imagine .

    1) Because NEOWISE was not in the picture in 2017, therefore, 2017 was NOT the GWR12. Due to NEOWISE here in 2020, this 9/19-9/20 FoTrumpets 'is' the actual GWR12.

    2) NEOWISE = Lucifer. Really? Yes, nasa (aka rcc jesuits) named it "1964 UA". So using good ole Stellerium, type in 1964 UA and you'll see NEOWISE pop up in Cancer (today, 7/23). Interesting.

    1. Well, it doesn’t hurt me to watch or read someone I may not completely agree with as long as I know their heart is in the right place and they too are watching and studying the word. I believe Brenda meets those qualifications. I’ve only seen one video and admittedly there are several things I don’t agree with, but I have an open mind always willing to learn and grow, so I will download her free book on Amazon and get the details on some of her thinking.

FYI, she uses the rev 12 sign as her starting point for the final week and has the abomination 3.5 years after that (9/23/17). She has the rapture at 9/28/20 so if we are still here after that day, don’t bother reading or watching her. Lol. She even said that on her video...”throw my stuff away if the Gog War doesn’t happen this summer.”

      Delete
    2. I understand what you're saying! Brenda lost me when she started talking about getting our glorified bodies on September 18 and then wandering the earth for 10 days as witnesses before the rapture. I have never heard that
before from any reputable end/times scholar.

      Delete
    3. I had some limited correspondence with her back in 2017. Back then 2017 was her fixed date for the rapture.

I see she writes in the start of her article on Revelation that she knows the date of the rapture, the bowls, when the temple is rebuilt, when Christ returns to earth... Then goes on to say:

"Not everyone can say that they have cracked the code of Revelation — but I can."

That is enough right there for me to stay well away! Her timeline says the 2 witnesses, Moses and Elijah, came in October 17th 2017 and are just 'hidden' and that the Jewish temple will be rebuilt and dedicated on 12 Oct 2020 - this year! Those who study prophecy should be able to discern and easily see through this.

Date setters unfortunately attracts followers, but are proved wrong... until they then change their dates.

My advice is stay well clear and avoid anyone who says they "know" the date of the rapture!

  40. Mmmm thanks Gary. Lots to ponder here! I've traditionally held to the Nehemiah decree and the 360 day 'prophetic years' for the start and calculation of Daniel's 69 weeks... but... I read an article by David Reagen of Christ in Prophecy a few years back where he too said that it should be Ezra's decree that is the starting point and that it goes to the start of Jesus' ministry, which was a year of Jubilee in 27 A.D.

    https://christinprophecy.org/articles/daniels-70-weeks-of-years/

That being the case it certainly makes having a jubilee in 2027 VERY INTERESTING!

The earlier date for Jesus' death of 31 AD certainly sits better seeing He was 'about 30' when He began His ministry and ties in better with this quote from the Jerusalem Talmud that speaks of strange happenings in the Temple, with God not accepting their sacrifices anymore - all occurring '40 years before the destruction of the temple' or around 30 A.D:

"Forty years before the destruction of the Temple, the western light went out, the crimson thread remained crimson, and the lot for the Lord always came up in the left hand. They would close the gates of the Temple by night and get up in the morning and find them wide open."

All interesting... Thanks again : )

  44. Gary, I don't comment often, but I read here daily. I so appreciate every single article you and the team post, all the research and prayer that you do before giving us these teachings. I have been praying about the parts of this puzzle that have been bothering me and God used you to answer some of my questions! It just always seemed that it should be a jubilee when Christ comes to tabernacle with us for the MK. It also seemed like the Daniel 69 weeks should be valid not only for Jesus' first coming but also for his second. Thank you so much for clearing these up for me. I have been asking the Lord if I have put myself in an "echo chamber", by reading/thinking/praying about the rapture/end times so much for so many years. My mind asks, Is this really it? He keeps answering me that "I'm not trying to fool you by making it look like everything is falling into place, I DO want you to know the season. You aren't making this up." This has set my mind at ease and I wanted to share it in case someone else needed to hear it. Prayers for my brothers and sisters.

Thank you for this research and teachings!

  45. My wife and I were having a conversation the other day and it was about the rapture occurring before the tribulation. I have always believed in a pretrib rapture but a thought came to mind. The tribulation has 3.5 good years and 3.5 horrible years that the world has never experienced. If the rapture happens before the tribulation and millions of people vanish without explanation then how does that lead into 3.5 good years? I'd figured that it would be right before the 3.5 bad years. It would be a nightmare if millions of people just vanished without explanation. If I was left behind and suddenly all of my friends and family who believed disappeared that would be the end of it for me. So now it brings up a thought that what if the first 3.5 years of the tribulation started when Trump took inauguration? We all know that Trump has done a lot of positive things for Israel. Our own economy was booming and a lot of "good" was happening. So fast forward 3.5 years and that puts us at mid year 2020. All I can say is that 2020 has been nothing but chaos! Maybe its the start of the final 3.5 years. And the idea of a fall 2020 rapture seems likely. Everything is set in place. The mark (Vaccine) is just around the corner. It's just a thought.

    1. Greetings Josh,
Your post triggered these thoughts, if I may share with you.....

According to Daniel 9:25-27 the 70th week begins when there is a “confirmation of a covenant.” I’m not aware this happened 3 years ago. And, the midpoint is when you have the Beast doing the abomination of desolation thing. How could this happen soon when there isn’t even a Jewish temple built? That’s all I have. Cheers....

      Delete
    2. Yes, the start of the 70th Week will be pretty hard to miss, at least for those who follow prophecy. And “good” is a relative term. Plenty of harsh and scary events will still happen during the first 3.5 years, but they will be “good” years in comparison to what follows.

      Delete
    3. As far as calling the first 3.5 years of the tribulation good, I would recommend considering that Jesus will be opening up the 7 Seals at the start of the 7 years. Evangelist Dan Goodwin wrote a book titled, God's Final Jubilee. In it he explores the idea that the 7 seals are a title deed to reclaiming earth. As we know the seals bring GOD's wrath. So the Anti-Christ's first 3.5 years will not be a time of peace at all. It just goes from bad to worse.

      Delete
    4. Hi Josh,
I haven't heard of 3 good years of Tribulation, followed by 3 bad years. I just believe it is bad from the get go, of the signing of the covenant, and gets progressively worse for the duration of the 7 years, but really ramps up from the abomination that causes desolation at the mid point.

I have heard though in Josephs dream about pharaoh, the 7 good years, followed by the 7 bad years in Genesis 41. Well the 7 good years have passed, which the world had generally recovered from the 2008/09 financial collapse by 2012/2013, so then followed the 7 good years, which would have appeared to end at the end of 2019/ begining of 2020. So the world is right on target for the 7 bad years to kick off.

We fly soon. Praise the LORD.

      Delete
    5. The only GOOD that will come out of the Tribulation will be those who are finally saved
and that God will accomplish His plans for bringing Israel out of their rebellion against Him and will have accepted Christ as their Messiah.
      https://bible.org/illustration/events-tribulation-period
simply outlines the judgments during both the first 3 1/2 year and the second 3 1/2 year (Great Tribulation) time periods.
Not only will the world undergo a horrific series of judgments, Satan and his demons will be let loose to wreak further chaos, death, and destruction.
3/4 of the world's population will die.
The first 3 1/2 years will be BAD-BAD, after the AOD, it'll get really, really, REALLY BAD!

      Delete
  46. Like Klaatu said, no confirmation yet so we are not in the Tribulation. Also don't discount how powerful the "strong" delusion that comes to convince the left behind people that antichrist is Christ and all is well if you do what the Beast System tells you to!

  48. Hi Gary, can I ask a question? I'm still pondering this thought that the 69 weeks (or more literally 'sevens') end at the start of Jesus' ministry, on a jubilee year...

This is certainly interesting and has got me puzzling where we would then place Jesus' 3 1/2 year ministry in the timeline of Daniel's 70 weeks? Is it not part of it? Because we know that there is still 'one week' (Daniel's 70th week) to come... that is clear from Dan 9:27. Does God 'stop the 70 weeks clock', so to speak, on Israel at the start of Jesus' ministry? Doesn't seem quite right.

Genuinely interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

    1. Excellent question elgordo. I’m not Gary so I won’t presume to answer it, but I will add this....there are people who believe Jesus’ ministry, about 3.5 years, was the first half of Daniels week and then he got cut off at the mid point. It will resume at the abomination of desolation. Many in that camp also believe Jesus confirmed the Abrahamic Covenant, rather than the Beast confirming some kind of peace treaty.

Your question is excellent because it makes one ask the question, why would you hit the pause button when Jesus begins his ministry?

I too will be looking for the responses here. I have my thoughts but I don’t think they are right. Now where is my popcorn while I’m waiting? 😁

    2. Thanks Klaatu. Appreciate the reply.

Yeah, some do apply 'in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering...' as a reference to the cross and ending the Old Testament sacrifices. I have a relative who is convinced that the 'He' of Dan 9:27 is Christ and not the antichrist...

Like you I have my thoughts, but don't want to preempt anything so I'll just see if there are any other comments on the matter. In the meantime, happy popcorn eating! : )

    3. My knowledge is weak compared to some others here, but it’s my understanding that Jesus’ ministry began when He was anointed with the Holy Spirit at His baptism, and that signaled the start of the age of grace through faith, rather than the crucifixion or resurrection. This placed His ministry during the “pause” that follows the end of the 69th Week, along with everything thereafter, until the Antichrist confirms the agreement with Israel.

    4. Interesting comment Anon. As I read it I thought of the woman who put perfume on Jesus before his crucifixion, and Jesus said to her that her faith had saved her. This does add credibility to the idea that once Jesus began his ministry it was the age of grace. The Father knew that Jesus would obey Him and offer his life as a ransom for many so even before Jesus went to the cross faith in Him resulted in Salvation.

  50. I enjoyed this article brother Gary and I accept it as being inspired by God's Holy Spirit. I also enjoy all the wise replies in the comments. I stay encouraged by all of you. I just have one thought that's interesting to me. Now I know the Gog/Magog war is near based on the attacking nations being currently positioned in Syria. I believe only Ethiopia is missing. My thought is this. God destroys the majority of these enemies of Israel's as his fury shows up in his face by hail fire and a worldwide earthquake. Where is Jesus during this? I recently imagined that as God does this that Jesus is either rapturing us or with us at the Wedding Feast. Just my little thought.

Hope this helps a little for a starter:

In Daniels overview, the prince that shall come,

[Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, from Magog [ Iraq of Ezekiel 38, Babylon, when Daniel was written], confirms a covenant, with many, that lasts seven years. [He does this before anyone knows he is Gog.] They, the many, not all, view his formula for peace as fulfillment of prophecy and judge the offer genuine. The formula includes rebuilding the Temple, and resumption of animal sacrifice. Enough are convinced, and they misplace their trust in him as their deliverer.

Magog / Babylon / Medo-Persian / Grecian / Seleucid / Roman / Muslim / Hashemite / Iraq, is the place Gog comes from. The last kingdom in the succession is the Hashemite Kingdom. The capital of that kingdom is Baghdad. But in Revelation 12 we learn that, Gog is made to look like a very strange beast. He looks like a leopard [the Grecian Empire of Daniel, demon possessed, which conquered quickly] has feet like a bear [standing in the territory of the Medo-Persian Empire] has the mouth of a Lion, [Babylon will be its capital] and, the dragon [Satan] will give him his power, his seat, and his great authority. When he becomes Gog, the world begins the last three and one half years of Daniel's 70th week.

Ezekiel 38 begins with God saying, "Son of Man set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; prophesy against him and say, I am against you O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal". It goes on to say that Gog will have a fully equipped army, and will be joined by Persia, Cush, Gomer, and Beth Togarmah in his invasion of Israel.

The land of Magog, by all biblical atlases show that land to be in the northern part of modern day Iraq, just north of Baghdad.

Meshech and Tubal are in the area that today is Turkey, and portions of northern Syria as well as northern Iraq.

These are the nations that now occupy part of the Old Hashemite Kingdom, and are all in the area encompassed by the Seleucid portion of the Old Grecian Empire.

The force joining Gog for war, Persia, [Iran], Cush, [Ethiopia and Sudan], Put, [Libya], Gomer, [northern Turkey into the area of Georgia and Azerbaydzhan] Beth Togarmah, associated with the ancient Sythians, [Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan] are all former republics of the former U.S.S.R. and are all currently Moslem nations.

Enter new players. Ezekiel also tells us Gog will be opposed by Sheba and Dedan, as well as Tarshish and all her young lions.
Sheba and Dedan are the western and southern portions of modern day Saudi Arabia. [In Daniel 11:24 we learn that Gog will invade the richest of the provinces when they feel secure.]
Tarshish is the coastal area of western Europe, mainly Spain and England, and the young lions [offspring] includes the United States.
2600 years ago Ezekiel told us that, some time in the future, the United States would be allied with Saudi Arabia, opposing a King in control of the Oil! [Overview is wonderful because the story's meaning is so clear when viewed with present day knowledge of circumstance]
[A note here about this story's spiritual elements. The God of Israel is Jehovah, but the other nations of the mid-east worship Allah, whom they declare the one true god. Allah had a prophet, his name was Muhammad, the messenger of God. His descendancy comes through the bloodline of the Hashemite Kingdom, of the old Muslim Empire; whose borders were within the one time borders of the Seleucid's of Grecian Empire times. A must in order to align with the prophecy.]

    2. Greetings Unknown,
To answer your question, I think Jesus is hanging out with his body, the raptured church, while His Father is flexing His muscle routing the nations attacking Israel in the Gog War of Ezekiel 38.

What do I think Jesus is doing specifically? Well, a few things immediately come to mind:
      1. Bema seat judgment of rewards for believers
      2. Wedding ceremony (not feast....I believe that takes place back on Earth)
      3. Taking our orders for room service in that beautiful mansion he built for us....(meant to be funny of course)

  51. "...But of that day and that hour knoweth no man..." (Mark 13:32 & Mat 24:36)

This scripture is most TRADITIONALLY quoted in confirming that we can't know the timing of the Rapture of the Church.

In fact, all of the scripture quoted to tell us that we can't know the time of the Rapture, is really directed towards the second coming of Jesus, when He returns with the raptured saints to do battle with his enemies. The second coming and the Rapture are two separate events.

"Which are shadows of things to come..."(Col. 2:17)

God spoke to us through prophecy, which is His Word. His word became the substance that casts a shadow of things yet to come in the future. When that word comes to pass, that shadow becomes fulfilled, and at the same time becomes a substance, casting its own shadow into the future.

That's why Paul, when speaking about the Feasts, which means, set times, tells us that they are shadows of things to come, but the substance is Christ. God is able to use the time that He sets, over and over again, throughout time, to accomplish the purpose for which He originally set that time. And, Christ is the substance of the shadow each time.

As an example, in the Old Testament, God established the Feast ['set time'] of Pentecost, and the shadow is cast. The shadow of the Feast of Pentecost is the establishment of a 'set time', fifty days after Firstfruits for a new offering to be made.
In the New Testament (Acts 2) God uses that time, the Feast of Pentecost, to fulfill His set time again, but this time, the fulfillment takes the form of 'sealing' the Apostles fifty days after Firstfruits, and they went forth with the new offering, Christ (the substance). The new shadow cast into the future, from that fulfillment of Pentecost, is still a new offering, with Christ, still as it's substance.

Has the Body of Christ ever been called up before? Yes, at the set time of The Ascension of Jesus, The Christ. The head of that body that is yet to be called up. Jesus' ascension cast the shadow into the future to foretell of the catching away of the Church. Therefore, The Rapture occurs in fulfillment of the shadow cast by Jesus Himself at His ascension --- His body called up in each instance. Again, the substance is Christ!

At this point the question becomes when did Jesus ascend? He died on Passover, was raised three days later on Firstfruits, and ascended forty days after that.
Therefore, God's timer for catching away The Church is set to go off forty days after Firstfruits, in a year when all the other elements pertaining to that time are aligned.

Now lets take a look at 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17

13, 14 and 15 take care of the ( Why, Because, and the Already dead in Christ the asleep ones).

16 and 17 describes the event of Matthew 27:52-53 and 40 days later caught up ascension day. The shadow cast into the future of the Rapture (Body of Christ)

I do study such things also and I always appreciate learning more than I know. If it's ok with you, I want you to speak on the thought of where is Jesus when God is destroying this Ezekiel 38 alliance of nations that attacks Israel from the North as written. I know Gog and Magog is mentioned again in Revelation bit that attack is seperate as it mentions Lucifer is a part of that also and they circle Jerusalem specifically and not just from Israel's North. I ask because I believe the former Gog/Magog attack happens the same day as the rapture and to look now it seems these nations can attack Israel any day now. This shows me how near the rapture is if my thinking is correct. Oh, my name is Anthony and I'm in Indianapolis, In.

  56. Thank you so much again Gary for the time and effort in writing such a powerfully encouraging article!...
Perhaps this is an additional piece of confirming information that the time of the Pretribulation Rapture is this year. To begin with, I believe the Feasts of the LORD serve as a guide for the events that GOD has made and will make to redeem the world and set up His rule forever, praise GOD! As we know, the spring feasts were fulfilled on their exact appointed days by Jesus. The fall feasts starting with Yom Teruah are next. A number of years ago I believe the Holy Spirit showed me that the units of time GOD uses in the Book of Daniel where in effect a day represents a year serve as a key to interpreting/knowing the span of time in which the season of the Rapture would take place.
In Daniel we can ascertain that a day represents a year in GOD’s plans for the coming of the Messiah Jesus and the Last Days. With that in mind I looked at the 10 days between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur. I believe that Yom Teruah represents the Rapture and Yom Kippur represents the Return of Jesus at the end of the Tribulation. Many realize the Feasts of the LORD were “dress rehearsals” or symbolic events that were to prepare Israel and now the Church for major actions by GOD as He intervenes in history to execute His plan of redemption. Although there are 10 days between Teruah and Kippur I submit that GOD in these last days will make them 10 years as He laid out such units of time in Daniel for the Last Days. Isn’t it interesting that GOD chose to speak of time in the way He did in Daniel? GOD could have plainly said the number of years but instead He spoke of it in such a way (a day actually becomes a year) that it carries with it what I will call a code that unlocks our understanding of the season of the Rapture. In other words, there will be a span of 10 years from the start of that span of time between the actual Yom Teruah of the Rapture and the actual Yom Kippur of Christ’s Return.
To say that the placement of the Great Sign of Revelation chapter 12 occurring the day immediately following Yom Teruah in 2017 is intriguing is a great understatement. We know that GOD deliberately chose to distance Teruah and Kippur by 10 days for a reason. We see in what happened with Jesus in fulfilling the spring feasts makes it quite clear that the spacing of His feasts were of paramount importance. Namely that Passover (Jesus death on the cross for our sins), next day is Unleavened Bread (Jesus in the tomb), and then the resurrection on the Feast of First Fruits. The timing and sequence of these Feasts speaks both clearly and profoundly that GOD has reasons for the spacing of His Feasts. The spacing is NOT arbitrary even in the least.

    1. CONTINUED
The Revelation 12 sign just did not happen to coincidentally occur immediately following Yom Teruah of 2017. Those of us who have been watching the signs in the heavens understand that the LORD set all the heavenly objects on their paths and intricately coordinated them to serve as signs. With that in mind I see GOD providing us THE marker for THE actual Yom Teruah (the “one long day”) and it began in September of 2017. As such, there are 2 to 3 years for the Rapture before the final 7 years set for the tribulation. I say 2 to 3 days although Yom Teruah is considered a two day holiday. I consider the Jewish way of keeping days to begin at sunset, therefore a two day Jewish Holiday can span 3 or our regular days. Also, keep in mind the 10 days between Teruah and Kippur. From Sept. 2017 to Sept. 2020 is the Rapture Season and the last 7 years (“days”) will be the tribulation. The 3 years (“days”) of time since Sept. 2017 is in essence Yom Teruah in which our Truly Wonderful Savior Jesus can come back any moment within it as, “no one knows the hour and the day”.
A few months ago a blogger named Isaiah submitted an intriguing comment and Gary in this article made it clear that there is a great source of evidence for 2020 being THE year for the Rapture. If Yom Kippur represents the return of Jesus at the end of the tribulation and 80 years indeed is the upper limit to a generation for the Fig Tree a.k.a. Israel, then by Yom Kippur of 2028 Israel will be several months past the “upper limit.” In other words, with all this in mind it is highly plausible that Yom Kippur of 2027 will be the likely Return of the King of Kings. Therefore, we can back track 7 years from 2027 to the Rapture Season window and that places us at its end which is Yom Teruah of 2020!... I understand that this information is not something one can say for certain. However, I hope it has the spiritual ring of Truth. In light of the blessed insights from Gary and a good number of others I see this as seamlessly fitting the evidence that 2020 is very, very likely the year of the Blessed Hope in Jesus our Perfect Savior. I submit it humbly to you for your encouragement and contemplation. Maranatha!...

    2. Thanks Looking up for this informative post. I enjoyed reading it.

I’ve never heard of a 3 day celebration of Yom Teruah (Rosh Hashana) like you proposed. So it sounds like based on what you are saying is that the rapture could occur anytime in the 3 day (years) from 9/23/17 because the entire 3 days is considered Yom Teruah. I know from a biblical perspective it is just a one day feast but that man added a day due to moon uncertainty. I suppose like you said it could be stretched to three days but this sort of seems like just that....a stretch to make something fit. I’m not saying that is what you are doing.....it just seems like that to me. I will have to read up and ponder this some more.

What intrigues me the most about a 2020 rapture is that this would put the 2nd coming possibly at 2027 which is a JUBILEE YEAR, in fact, 120th jubilee from Jesus ministry year in 27 AD. See Genesis 6:3 for a word on the significance of 120 years.

Now the 10 days of awe.....I have heard of that.

    3. Looking Up, utterly fascinating and worthy of consideration. Klaatu, I think perhaps the "3 days" for Yom Teruah refers to the two day holiday, due to moon appearance variations around the globe, and then the "overlap" into three of our days due to Jewish days starting in the evening and ending the next evening? At any rate, I don't see anything to discredit the possibility Looking Up poses. More and more signs pointing to the year 2020. Notice T.W. Tramm's latest post as well: https://www.facebook.com/twtramm/?eid=ARDSogOVoErBJBfCansMjI2-XaaBBppuBf9tgEqY0QjtA8Nf9cs6yJQxKqRpRboBZTPvferXgYfj3hmb

    4. you are right on, Looking Up. Rapture on Feast of Trumpets 2020. 2nd Coming on Yom Kippur 2027.It is my opinion that Jesus(GOD) will confirm the covenant with Israel, not the AC, on Feast of Trumpets, after the Rapture, to start the 7 year Tribulation.

      Delete
    5. Yom Teruah was typically celebrated over 49-hours. The *stretching* of the appointed time is not a stretch by any means but normal especially due to the circumstances surrounding the sighting of the new moon.

LookingUp! I believe you are spot on!!

If 2017 is the beginning of the final *day* (decade) it would be representative of a short unit of measure. Ten in Hebrew is represented by the letter "י" (yud). "י" is the smallest, most humble, of all the letters of the alephbet and has a value of 10. The MK will be 1e3 or 10^3 (10*10*10). The smallest subset of this set is 10^1 or 1e1 (10) and interestingly enough the ancient Hebrew representation of the modern day "י" is an outstretched hand or arm. Fitting!

Question: Have we begun to witness *awe* during these past three years? Have we seen certain events which seem to define the change of seasons since the Great Sign in 2017? Absolutely!

So if we are living in the Days of Awe, the days running up to Yom Kippur that began with Yom Teruah we are in the third day (year). That's an interesting time as the third day was twice blessed by G-D in Genesis. The third day was when God said,

"Let the waters under the heavens
be gathered together into one place,
and let the dry land appear."

11 And God said, "Let the
      earth sprout vegetation,
      plants yielding seed, and
      fruit trees bearing fruit
      in which is their seed,
      each according to its kind,
      on the earth."

      And it was so.

      (Genesis 1:11 ESV)

We are God's seed. By Him and in Him we sprout, we grow and we will bear fruit. He saw it and it was good. G-D declared the third day of creation as being good twice! This is one reason why Jewish weddings are often held on Tuesdays!

The third day will be recognized by everyone here as the day that Christ rose from the grave. Resurrection Day. By this reckoning we are now in the third day (year) since the Great Sign.

Sounds like a good day for THE RESURRECTION via the harpazo to take place doesn't it?! It sounds like a good day for the seas to be gathered into One place; the dry land in another.

      Sharing more on this soon...

      Blessings

    6. Well, if what Gary said about Jesus beginning his ministry at 27AD as the end of the 483 years, if this is accurate, as confirmed by Dave Reagen, without a doubt, a second coming at yom Kipur, 2027 now has a lot of ammunition.

      27 AD (Jesus anointed) to 2027 AD=2000 years (120 Jubilees...see Genesis 6:3).
3974 BC ( possibly the first Rev 12 alignment at the fall of man) to 27 AD = 4000 years

2000+4000=6000 years for man to work....day of rest next (1000 year reign of Christ)

Jesus started his ministry on a jubilee year (27) and returns on a jubillee year (2027).

Fig tree prophecy: Not to mention Israel being almost 80 years old (2027-1948=79). This “generation” won’t pass away until they see all these (tribulational) signs.

As for the Sept 23, 2017 sign in the heavens....it makes enough sense to believe this was God’s 3 year window of warning.....And the rapture can occur within 3 years from that date (September of 2020)....I can jump on board this thinking too.

Soooooooo, it is official.....FEAST OF TRUMPETS (September 2020) IS NOW A HUGE WATCH DAY!

You have taken the words right out of my mouth! All I might add to this is that the harpazo may happen any time up to Yom Teruah. If for a pre-midpoint arrival of the two-witnesses, they may arrive as soon as Simchat Torah this Fall. Daniel's 70th week is an excellent fit to commence on or about 18-September, 2020.

But of the harpazo itself? That can be anytime. It is the wheat harvest you know!

Hold fast everyone! Be still and know that He is Lord, LORD God Almighty.

Another date point is coming up with the anniversary of 9/11 in the USA - 19 years this fall.
The ONLY other 19 year time period I know of, albeit an important one, is that of the TWO 70 year judgments on Israel offset by 19 years: the first was the judgment on the NATION, which could possibly be likened to the beginning of Judgment on the US, and the other culminating in the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple.
Do you have reference points on your timelines that fit with 9/11?
9/11/20 marks the beginning of the last week of the year on the Jewish calendar.
